  1. Total War Saga: Troy has become a true Total War game today with the release of the paid Gore DLC that adds blood effects. As a side note it released a free content update at the same time, adding Artemis to the pantheon. So much better than the paid DLC edit: They also added Photo Mode in hopes of getting Bokishi and LadyCrimson to play.

  2. You called it https://www.gameinformer.com/2020/10/28/cyberpunk-2077-devs-didnt-know-about-the-delay-until-the-day-of-heres-why As CD PROJEKT is a publicly listed company on the Warsaw Stock Exchange (WSE) our communication has to be transparent to employees, gamers, and investors, as well as in line with the regulations of Polish Financial Authorities & European Parliament, and the Council & Commission Directives. Information of such business magnitude i.e. the delay of the release of the biggest project under development, is, until it is made publicly available, considered price-sensitive and confidential because it could easily influence the potential decisions of investors. In a nutshell, early, the unplanned release of this information could have potentially led to market abuse and manipulation of CD PROJEKT's stock price on the WSE. Therefore, due to the aforementioned regulations, the information on postponement of Cyberpunk 2077's release date couldn't have been shared with all of the Group's employees before the current report was filed and made public.

  3. Don't really care who's at fault. I'm just happy the space industry finally picks up the pace again, after so many years of barely things happening. We are in a time now where you can read weekly space news and there's something new every time. It's super exciting, and I can't wait for the first Starship testflight soon™.

  4. To get the most of of the Arcane Archer variant (I mean circumventing the frustrating omittance of the second and third imbue projectile) I personally would use Watershaper's Focus from stealth to open combat. First use Imbue: Web once the enemies got lured to a spot or gathered around the tank. Then later def. Imbue: Pull of Eora. That way you will not drop only two Pulls (initial + Driving Flight) but three (init. + DF + Watershaper's Focus build-in jump). It's very hard for enemies to escape three parallel pulls that were applied with sky-high ACC. Also there will be three times the Blast damage of the rod which very often triggers its enchantment "Ondra's Wrath" which might ascend you right at the spot. Because you shoot this one from stealth you will have nearly no recovery (stealth offers a -85% recovery time bonus). You can then switch to Frostseeker. Sure, there will be switching recovery, but I think it's absolutely worth it. Because of that I was thinking about an Arcane Archer/Black Jacket with 0 switching recovery and four weapon slots (Frostseeker/Watershaper's Focus/Spearcaster/Essence Interrupter) to cover all resistances/immunites of enemies and be able to interrupt at the spot. Penetrating Strike and Disciplined Strikes would be nice to have for Frostseeker. And you wouldn't need to cast a bunch of debuffs/buffs like the Ascendant would. But I think Ascendant is more up your alley if you want to focus on Frostseeker. By the way: since you are scaling Arcane anyway it would be a crime to use Frostseeker and not use scrolls of Avenging Storm from time to time. It's just too good. Speaking of Cipher again: Biting Whip is pretty bad in the vanilla game - I mean compared to Draining Whip. If you install the Community Patch you will have a more balanced Biting Whip ability. That mod also fixes an annoying bug of the Arcane Archer: all his damaging Imbue shots (Missiles, Fireball and Death Ring) won't scale their PEN - so they become rather bad at higher levels because they can't penetrate anymore. The mod makes it so that the PEN of imbue shots scales with your Arcana skill. This helps to keep them viable until the end. And on top you'll get unique passive icons for every class in the game as sugar coating. Even if Black Jacket isn't your thing I would still encourage you to try Spearcaster at some point just to see how it is with an Archane Archer. It's Rune Shot enchantments gets bonus ACC from the Arcana skill and it stacks with the Arcana-induced bonus of the imbue shots, giving you absurd amounts of ACC (with an Imbue or Accurate Wounding Shot). It can be very good against enemies you want to interrupt very reliably with the modal. You don't need to commit yourself to it, just try it out some time.

  7. Nothing specific done prior, this happens in a brand new save, in creative, and in a pre-existing world. Whenever you try to place a wall at a 45 degree diagonal placement, the game will instead correct it to a 'straight' 90 degree angle to the corresponding grid layout.

  9. Finished Pathfinder. Now, I will say that I wasn't enamored of the writing, but a few story lines did catch me a little. Tristian's story of redemption combined with his ragged heart appeal to the bad guy in his quest line not to succumb to hatred was brilliant. A couple others were nice enough. I didn't really *love* them, per se, but I liked them a lot. The only one that came close to the blind cleric was . It was smaltzy, but it wasn't over the top and I thought it was a good ending. I really rather enjoyed it and it did tug a little at the heartstrings, assuming ol' drunks have heart strings to tug.

  12. I really wish they could do that. A message like “we are sorry, but we have to delay the game Further, until the police investigates all of the death threats to the developers. We take security of our employees very seriously, and a release of the game might before thoroughful investigation might impact it negatively.” The world burning after that announcement would be a perfect pinnacle of 2020

  13. Hello! The question is: Why developers ignores the questions about gamepad support in Pillars 2. I cant use a mouse+keyboard, but i can use a gamepad, which the game does not support in 2018. We want to play Pillars in 60 fps, and normal loading time, using a gamepad. Is it too difficult to you? To add a simple circle menu in game? Like it was in pillars on ps4. I finished pillars on ps4. Brilliant game. But it was worst experience in my live ever, because of optimisation. The game has low fps, which provide laks in animation, the loadings between levels take several minutes. I wont buy the second pillars on ps4 because of it. A people like me want to play on PC using a gemepad, dont ignore us pls......

  14. When I played my save yesterday, I was able to activate the Biodome terminal and the cover of the 'fish bowl' did open up and work successfully. I also want to note, I forgot to get an image/video of it, however after I swapped the power mode to remote in the first part of the lab, the 2nd computer (that shows the 'Biodome terminal needs reset') never changed, and was still showing the 'Battery Backup' image. After swimming out and finding the hatch that lead into the dome portion, I was able to activate the Biodome terminal, and that computer changed to show the 'automode' and the covering of the fishbowl opened up to let me view the pond. I checked the 2nd terminal, and that was still showing the 'Battery backup' display and never changed. Now, upon re-loading my save the next day, the doors for the Fish Bowl have closed, however the biodome terminal says it is still active, and the computer down below in the depths-portion states that the biodome terminal needs to be reset.

  19. Get to Chapt 3 as soon as possible, don't dwaddle in the first extra-long tutorial section (if you're sort of a completionist you can return to it later anyway). As for the cinematic - they slow down for most of the game except certain story moments, but you may rage a bit at the end unless the story really interests you. They overdid the UI micro-animations tho. Pressing skip over and over for certain things was definitely annoying.

  20. For Tekehu (or any char with shock keyword skills) If you use both Deltros Cage and Lord Darryon's Volgue, you get +5 Power level to storm. I forget the exact math, but +5 PL comes down to about +2 PEN for lightening spells, which is very useful. Furthermore, many enemies in Deadfire have low Shock armor rating, meaning you will be doing Overpenetraion on lightening attacks. That makes AOE lightenign spells (Relenteless storm, greater maelstrom) absolutely killer. The downside of using Lord Darryons Volgue as a stat stick means a melee character won't have access to shock dmg melee weapon(which again is great for bypassing enemies with low AR to shock) . Thankfully, you can come across other weapons that do elemental damage (Animancer's blade, lategame aquistion), essence interrupter (sold early game at Port town) . Another option is using Firebrand (druid spell) for a mulitclass character; otherwise u can use scrolls (but that is not cost efficent)

  22. Well technically this isn't the spot for them to browse and look for issues. This area is for the community to help each other. You'd be surprised how much they have already responded to when you submit an issue. From personal experience they have responded to every inquiry I sent them and fixed about 90% of the bugs I reported to them.

  23. I really like Theurge builds, and if you do it makes sense to focus on electric attacks, given the powerful options on both the druid and chanter side. You could, for example start a fight with an empowered Her Revenge while wielding Sasha's, which is even better if you're also wearing the Least Unstable Coil and Weyc's Wand in your offhand. Once you're empowered with bonus PLs and inspirations, you could then switch to the Voulge and cast a relentless storm or two. I really like Sasha's because I rarely ever otherwise empower attacks, for the same reason that I rarely use per rest abilities. In other words, I don't like having to rest all the time.

  24. That would depend on what character idea I had in mind. Despite all the theorycrafting and minmaxing stuff I prefer that my characters have some sort of story, coherent theme or such stuff which helps me to connect to them so that they don't feel like some faceless mashup. In case of Chanter/Druid I would lean to the scimitar though. Also because then there would be one hand left which could hold stuff like the Weyc's Wand or Griffin's Blade and such.

  25. Stuff like Necklace of Fireballs and Missile Gloves do scale. Don't ask me for the specifics though. That makes them good because both of them can be aquired at least twice so you can use all their charges or per-rest uses in one encounter and recharge by stacking in the stash.

  26. Note that the shocking lash from the scimitar works with spells - so the choice not that easy.

  27. Why choosing ? You have 2 sets ! Use the voulge during most fights and keep Sasha's (+shield ) when you want to Empower an Invocation or just tank a little better.

  28. Wizards have the best CC and debuff spells and later also great damaging spells. Chillfog and Slicken alone can make a big difference. Miasma is just great. And my beloved Pull of Eora: there's nothing like it. Fireball is for... beginners.

  29. What do you guys think about Wizard vs. Druid early and mid game (POTD upscaled all)? It feels like Aloth does not dish out too much damage with only his 1-5 powerlevels spells; I cast a few fireballs and that is the only stat I can attack from enemy mobs. Teheku, on the other hand, is very versatile, especially if you bump him with +shock PL using the Deltro's cage and Lord Darroy's 2her. I just love wizards, but I wonder if it is worth having him throughout hte game.

  32. I still have troubles deciding what to do with this Ability. First issue is that it is directly supporting Paladin's style. So buffing it is a straightforward powercreeping, even if limited. It will add something to already existing build using it. People pick it. That doesn't mean it is a good ability, but it stacks. EDIT : Dirty Fighting is also mehish, but stacks and works with everything so I didn't change it. Second issue is that it is not clear if the intended design is to protect the Paladin vs single attacker. 3s can mean both. It is a very subtle case where it requires high INT and/or a fast attacker to work. Increasing the duration as you suggest would solve part of the issue but would let the ability unefficient vs dual damages. I think the ability could also be very focused on its main purpose : protecting vs a lot of similar attacks coming simultanneously such as firearms volley. Something like +1AR Stackable 2 times for 2s could do the trick. It would be clear that it won't work vs Single Attacker, except in rare cases. Neither a nerf nor a buff, just a rework. EDIT : But maybe the stacking would make the ability over-complicated. Increasing the duration to 4s or even 5s would make the ability a semi-reliable +1AR, which is good enough. 5s would have the advantage of truly covering single attacker (except dual type, but even in this case it would help compensating for armor type weaknesses). I think it's good if this ability clearly cover a type of situation without having to consider complicated stuff like the speed of an attacker and your own INT.

  34. Ah yes, I do tend to cook all my salmon on the grill, usually with a good brown sugar and mustard marinade. We get about 5 pounds of salmon a month from a local processing facility. Basically they cut off the ends and send the big pretty part to Costco. We get the ends for a great price from an employee. This stuff is so much fresher than what you get in the stores. My son survives off mahi mahi patties from Trader Joes, so that tends to be what ends up in the all-clad. Shrimp is the other staple, and I can see where shrimp would be pretty awesome on a skillet. I've only done the cedar plank once and it was a weird experience. I ended up with a pretty charred piece of wood.

  35. we got a rather fancy outdoor grill and that is where we cook most o' our fish. as much as we enjoy fish, we don't like for everything to smell like fish. we default to outdoor cooking of fish. am knowing some folks like to use cedar planks and we do so if we got something which ain't gonna fit in our 10" pan, but the cast iron is the workhorse. better to use cast iron than stainless steel on the grill with all the greasy smoke. in the extreme rare scenario we cook a piece o' salmon indoors, perhaps during january or february when is raining, we will break out the steel. HA! Good Fun! ps we make fish stock every four months or so. indoors. is a good thing we live solo 'cause am suspecting is no way a significant other would allow us to make fish stock with a nice, long, aromatic simmer.

  36. To make an effective Frostseeker build you should crit a lot which means very high accuracy. The cipher can debuff deflection by 20 (Phantom Foes+Psychovampiric Shield) and buff his own accuracy by 25 (Borrowed Instinct + Tactical Meld). The helwalker is a good combo for most ranged builds but his accuracy isn't that great (a better combo is helwalker/rogue with dual mortars/the Red Hand). For the cipher I recommend the ascendant subclass for the 40% dmg bonus (Biting Whip + Ascended). For the ranger I usually recommend Ghost Heart, however for Frostseeker I would go with the Arcane Archer because of the great synergy with Imbue: Eora (the only Imbue worth using at high lvl).

  38. https://imgur.com/a/EtKUXd3 This link has images that show two instances where the Grass wall top crenellation does not properly cut/clip off at the top any longer when sandwiched between two floors, nor does it cut/clip off when sandwiched between stairs and floors. These are just blueprints, but left that way for clarity on seeing them. Even when built the top crenellations stay there and don't get clipped off. It's also difficult to see, but in the picture where the grass wall isn't clipped off with the stairs, the grass wall to the right does have the crenellations still there, and clipping up into the weed stem wall above it. (Weed stem wall was built above it first with support from the stairs they are attached to on the other side, then grass wall was placed+built below it after).

  40. This issue has been found to be due to xbox cloud saves not uploading to the cloud correctly. They thought they had it fixed in patch 3.3 but it didn't help. Hopefully they have this out during this weeks content update patch. Would rather see this patched than see new content to be honest because seems like many of us can't play at all.

  41. 1. Platform: PC Steam 2. Multiplayer: 3/4 players 3. Description of issue: Characters who aren't hosts are jittering after using ziplines, and hearing the zipline sound even after disembarking. Giving up and respawning solves the issue for the player, but he/she would still see the other players (including the host) jumping about, and hear the zipline sound when they come close. We all just give up and respawn after one of the non-hosts uses the zipline just to get everyone back to normal. 4. Last thing you did in the game before the issue occurred, if applicable: Used the zipline ( >400meters). The shorter ones we have don't give us this issue.
