I still play Star Control 2 (or the free UQM version anyway since I lost my discs long ago) from time to time. Also Doom, but that's mostly with the Brutal Doom mod so that probably doesn't count as classic.

Hours... no idea. These games where there long before game launchers started tracking hours. Lets just say "lots" Still playing Master of Iron 2 (as late as this week), War in Russia (today) and the old Tomb Raider (the original, not the awful remake) a few weeks ago. Next up when done with War in Russia is probably X-Com3: Apocalypse. Only game that gives Jagged Alliance 2 a run for its money when it comes to tactical combat and destructible terrain. No, don't even get me started on how much I hate the "new" X-Com games 😂 Edit: I wasn't sure if this was a pc/console only thing, but if you count old 8 and 16 bit computers, add a few classics that I play regularly on emulators. Mechwarrior was my favourite Amiga game and Battlecruiser from SSI still get me playing the Battle of Jutland as both the German and British side in the various scenarios

Speaking as a Californian, this is a bit of an oversimplification of very complex issues. I'm not going to bend over backwards to completely defend my state. I still grumble about state taxes, cost of living, homeless policies, and plenty of other issues in the sunshine state. But the issues you brought up have some big question marks. First off, Elon Musk is posturing. He is using the threat of leaving California to get what he wants out of the state. But take notice that Tesla was started in California for good reason. California is not going to collapse if Tesla leaves. Silicon Valley is still the tech capital of the world. Hollywood is still the entertainment capital of the world. Handfuls of celebrities and companies leaving for greener pastures is not going to change that because they keep getting replaced by new celebrities and companies. It's the same reason I can't get the housing prices to go down in this area. They are building new homes, and people keep talking about leaving the state, but at the end of the day the population keeps growing up, and a good chunk of that is wealthy immigrants. The easiest way to maintain your saved game files when switching between the release build and joining the public test is to make a duplicate save by copying the folder in your Saved Games folder and move it to a safe location before joining the Public Test. Here's how to do this: Method 1: Step 1: Load the game you wish to save. Step 2: Make 2 saves using the save feature in the game. Log out of the game after you confirm you have two saves of the same game. Step 3: Switch to the public test. Choose one of the duplicated saves to be your public test save. Step 5: When you are done with the Public Test, switch your Steam client back to the release build. Step 6: Launch Grounded. Step 7: Exit Grounded and wait for the cloud to sync. Step 8: Launch Grounded and continue playing where you left off! Method 2: Step 1: Navigate to C:\Users[USERNAME]\Saved Games\Grounded Step 2: Find the save folder you wish to save, and make a copy of it. You can add something like "-Current Save" at the end so you know what save it is. The pay raise I put in for in March was finally approved after a lockdown induced hold. I didn't specify any amount during my talk with my boss (we do that once a year, have lunch on expenses and talk about work, what's up, what's good, bad and potentially ugly) but I did mention that it's not really pay as much as a monthly insult. He was a bit taken aback and apparently immediately panicked and thought I want to quit. Which in fact I don't, I'm more than happy to trade being a little underpaid for the other advantages of my job (short commute, great work/life balance when the world isn't ending due to a pandemic, interesting things to do, etc.). Underpaid in this context means that I would get more for the same job at other companies (i.e. not being part of an in-house development team but a dedicated software company), not that I wasn't already paid very well already compared to average and median incomes in our region. Obsidian please I beg of you make a new fallout game. I’ve recently gotten into fallout and my first game was new Vegas I was amazed, the story was the best i’d played in a video game ever. So I got fallout 4 to see if it was as good as new Vegas and I was very disappointed, so now I’m writing this. Please make a new fallout, get the ip from Bethesda make it the obsidian entertainment passion project. Bethesda knows that fallout right now isn’t in a great place. fallout 76 was a total dumpster fire and fallout 5 is a few years out. So what would lift fallout right from the gutter a game by the best to have done fallout. They realize fallouts not in a good state so I need you to beg to get the ip. we the fallout community would go head over heels for a new fallout by you. Bring the reputation system back bring back skills like lock picking don’t put us on a path have us walk the wide wasteland of Seattle or Denver or Detroit have us meet interesting factions have ZERO brotherhood of steel have better graphics than current Bethesda tiles. If I build a structure and I want to remove a single wall panel, the entire structure should not collapse. Whether it's a single level panel from a wall of a full structure, the only panel I target should be the one that recycles. THIS IS A GAME BREAKING Issue that needs to be addressed ASAP!!

This is the small cave area where the cable for the mystery machine is being gnawed on by lawn mites. At the spot just ahead of me in this screenshot, two mites get stuck under the dirt where you can not see them or target them. They can hit you , and you can hit them if you time your hits right to get them when they jump, but they can not get out of the dirt pile on the ground. I could loot the ones I killed while they were jumping , but the bodies were not visible.

Age of Decadence is short. But it can be long if you try to play it like most other CRPGs, because you will be failing a lot at everything and reloading. You need to choose what your character is, what he does well, and stick to it. The game plays fairly differently and the story has substantial differences depending on what kind of character you make, so it's worth replaying. If you're into janky cult* games, you may enjoy it. *literally -- depending on who you ask, the biggest fans of the game really are a cult...

I think it could potentially be very nice to let druids use priest trinkets and vice versa. I've found the party size reduction from 6 -> 5 in Deadfire really quite rough in terms of 'party freedom' - and I think being able to give priests some druid abilities at will (and vice versa) could be quite a creative way of helping with that. As for modifying priest subclasses - these would be my suggestions. This is very much a first pass - I expect lots will need changing - but I'd love to get people's thoughts. As a first generation immigrant I can tell you for certain that anyone can prosper in this country. People that have barely the basics of English have made a decent living, for having left their lives behind and started anew, I'd say that's a pretty good place. More so their offspring that have had more time to adapt will likely make it further than them. As a former ghetto resident, I can say that a lot of the economic pain is self inflicted and stems from cultural problems rather than systemic ones. If there's a systemic problem it might be the welfare state that incentivizes indolence and poverty Tomas Sowell has spoken a lot about this and his background is as someone from one of these communities. I find his take on the difference of a pre welfare Harlem to what it became. It is also worthy of note that the group that claims to care more about minorities is also the group that's very supportive of heavy taxation. California and NY will do a big show about how they care about minorities while have some of the biggest taxes in the country. If the purpose of welfare programs is to help people out of poverty why are they so keen to take their money when they're just barely out of the poverty threshold?

No way to do it I'm afraid. This is one of my great sadnesses in deadfire. They are basically only useful for in-map skill checks, but many (if not most) of the hardest skill checks are in interactive events that are triggered from the world map.

I can't tell you how many times this game has made me scream. From the time I was luring soldier ants out of the ant hill, and just as I was about to hit daylight, a wolf spider entered the ant hole, or when the wolf spider disappeared from my screen, I moved forward to investigate, and it reappeared. Today I heard a very strange sound, something snoring, and thinking it was just a weevil, went to investigate only to run straight into and wake up an angry stink bug. I've never screamed so much in fright from a single game. Kudos, Obsidian, but please don't give me a heartattack!

Me as well, my friend, me as well. At first my wife would come running into the office to see what had happened to me...Spiders, and their screaming....that's what. She got angry and said I was the, 'Boy who cried wolf' and when I needed help; she wouldn't come running...as she shut the door to the office, LOL. I wear a headset and didn't know I was yelping when I was attacked...and pushing my chair back from the screen. I have a hard time NOT doing that; glad I have a looooong headset cord!

Oh, come on. Fully upgraded WK weapons and HLAs? Combat is a pointless chore long before that if you have played through 20 times any game knowledge whatsoever. You can abuse Mislead from like Chapter 5 or so. And for absolute maximum literal endgame (read: Throne of Blood showdown) dps nothing beats dc'ing good old Koveras into a Mage as soon as you get him in your party. Ah... just talking about this sucks the fun out of the game, heh.

Conan Exiles of dropping the newest DLC and it looks to be massive. Looks to be a pretty decent map addition as well as a new starting story, so more of an expansion than the traditional DLC. This is the only game I've ever really enjoyed buying the DLC content for, so I'm in.

Not sure if you found it but near the bird fountain beside the hedges there is a secret cave you can find along the large stone walls it's like a little crevice. Anyway nothing of significant importance but it is nice little easter egg you will find a skeleton, a backpack with 10 ant parts in it, a rotten ant club and a bunch of ant heads on what looks like toothpicks. There is also a bunch of random bones put together with ant parts not sure if this is supposed to be a symbol or something but it was a cool find.
