  1. Dev reply to someone asking on steam whether it was Battle Brother with legs: Wartales features a very sophisticated leg system at launch, with the ability to walk, run and stand (amongst a number of other actions that require legs) all supported and playing an important role in both the story and overall gameplay. We hope you enjoy the game and the tireless work of our dedicated leg team, who are still yet to be allowed to sleep.

  2. If you are weird, then I am too. If God created the universe, then God existed before things like biology and genders appeared. I assume God is either genderless or chooses how to appear. Unless we live in a simulation and God is the one who programmed it, then anything is possible.

  3. Yes. Having the protagonist be androgynous makes perfect sense for a MegaTen game. The games tend to focus on a conflict of philosophies, namely order/control vs anarchy/freedom. Ultimately, you get to decide what form the remade world will take, which effectively makes you God. God being androgynous always made sense to me. I mean, in a patriarchal society God will be referred to as "He" and in a matriarchal society as "She", that's only natural. If such a being truly exists then it would be both and neither. It makes sense in my head, anyway. Maybe I'm just weird?

  4. Frostseeker is also nice for its 3 rolls, independantly from its AoEs (which is nice for Rogues, by the way, but it is a bit Off-Topic) 3 rolls means 3 chances of getting a crit and refund Stunning Surge. Also I haven't tested it but maybe the AoE can apply Stunning Surge. I wouldn't be surprised because I vaguely remember it works with Focus generation and is classified "weapon". Getting Crit with a Fighter is quite easy given Tier 3 PER inspiration. Fighter Modal and Enduring Dance won't stack for accuracy though.

  5. Ravager would be fun. Since you'll get tenacious from the monk side, I'll recommend trying a Furyshaper/Helwalker. You can cast the speed ward normally, but cast the fear ward if the melee gets too close for comfort. And you can always switch to fists if necessary. Also, instead of bows, you might consider dual wielding mortars instead. Stunning surge with two mortars is crazy, and you'll almost always get your mortification back too.

  6. I found Spellblade multiclass very versatile (though i will rank beastmaster a better jack of all trade). Not the best at everything bug more fun in the long run. A streetfighter/bloodmage using draining touch trick (cast it from a grimoire and swap grimoire right after) in a riposte build was a lot of fun as an offtank. - assassin : will shine for heavy CC (the accuracy boost is so sweet on POTD) and burst. It will probably be better to play it "at range" - streetfighter can either be turned in : a spell turret at range (use whisp from a chanter to flank and trigger passive) or a melee beast (wizard buff for survival ang go to town) - trickster : double illusion for more cc. Give this guy an aoe weapon and spread DOT while keeping ennemy pinned down. You should maybe try an arcane archer/trickster (not a spell blade i know but can be built in a similar way), you will have acces to : - many wizard spell from trickster and AA (don't forget scrolls ;), you will up arcana as an AA); - many ranged tool for lot of fun (driving flight is just that good with the right weapon) - good mobility from ranger and rogue class. Edit : fight will probaby be : 1) lure with dazzling light, 2) wearing watershaper focus : web and pull of eora (so 3 web and 3 pull of eora in less than one sec) 3) paralyze the group 4) Nuke as you want (DOT from rogue, fireball from AA, scroll..., Aoe weapon...) 5) swap to melee and use finishing blow if someone managed to survived 6) grab a beer

  7. Heh, I was just playing fetch with my kitties. For whatever reason they really love these elastic hairbands that my wife uses, so I shoot them like a rubber band and they zoom off to retrieve it. Ive even got it down to a science where they will bring it back and drop it right at my feet. Its freaking adorable.

  8. In fact Evoker is a rather inferior subclass to pair with an Assassin. Sacrifices too many great spells, his special proc can be suicidal if you're using Deltro's Cage Helmet (and you should, IMO!). Blood Mage is so much better IMO.

  9. 1) Assassin + Bloodmage doesn't mean you are stuck nuking Shadow Flames from stealth, even if that is of course kinda fun. It is very versatile. Here are just a couple of combos for example that don't involve constantly resetting the fight: Pull/group enemies with Dazzling Lights and apply Enervating Terror on the group from stealth. With high INT/PL You have a group of Terrified enemies for a long duration that you can mow down in whichever way you like. You can continue the fun with casting Repulsive Visage and attack in melee with unique weapons, summoned weapons, Monastic Unarmed training - total Deathblows fest. Finish the remains of your poor Terrified foes with Precisely Piercing Burst. Pull/group enemies with Dazzling Lights, apply Arterial Strike in AoE with Hand Mortar from Stealth, Immediatly follow with a well aimed Pull of Eora, and another one. Maybe another one. Throw in a Delayed Fireball, Writhing/Grasping Tentacles, Chillfog, Freezing Pillar.... When you find enemies with a vulnerability to INT afflictions, casting Confusion from stealth will Crit 99.99% of the time and give you a huge, ridiculously long Charm AoE. Very fun but of course a bit more anecdotal. 2) You might also consider a SC Trickster. I did a solo playthrough recently and had a lot of fun with it. I posted about it if you want to have a look. It's also versatile and is the only way to have PL8 spells on a caster Rogue.

  11. So AoT s3 halfway, the titans were with us all along and the military gets political. The pacing seemed a little better but it still runs into moments where it drags on too long or sidetracks (arguably the arc itself is a sidetrack), and the big bad is a cgi monstrosity. I hope DIO as a giant monkey ends up being fun, but I think at least one titan is going to be cgi and it's going to suck. I think next up with be logh or violent evergarden. But does it have gym gods, punch ghosts, and hilarious poses?

  12. Eden, episode 4. Of course it comes down to a robot vs. robot showdown, with Sara and Zero each piloting a humongous mech. Because how else could this end? The end. The last ten minutes of this were actually great, but three and a half episodes of setup complete with the terrible animation this has is a tad too much to truly recommend this. It's not entirely bad, and there are some fun moments here and there. I'm not sure if I should note "not about an AI uprising" as a net positive when it's just the other post-apocalyptic goto option with humanity in cryo suspension riding out an environmental disaster. Scientist losing faith in humanity and trying to end it isn't exactly original either. Not that originality is truly needed if the pieces click together in a great way, which they just don't. It's okay for a one time viewing, and fairly short, but there are better ways to spend your time for sure - many worse ones too, on the other hand. With a bit more breathing room and some better animation, this could have been really nice. I'll just wait for you to reach the other anime, or second season, or whatever you can call a re-tooling of a cancelled show and decide then. It does sound fun, but at the moment I'd rather not start something with 161 episodes... if it ends up being bleh after the retooling, I'll OCD myself through 143 potentially terrible episodes. I can neither properly confirm or deny this. Not for a want of trying, but for a complete lack of a frame of reference to compare Violet Evergarden to. It definitely is more wistful and serious, but not all of it is bleak. It never came across as faux, but I'll freely admit to not being a good judge of this. Especially not in this case. Feels like it was made for me, to be honest. Hm, watching more of Satoshi Kon is also on my list... but that list grows ever longer, and I've watched nothing but anime recently. I think once everything dies down a little I'll go back to finishing Agents of SHIELD. Biggest thing I need to resist right now is the urge to jump into the 110 episodes of Legend of the Galactic Heroes, which looks like it's an animated Star Wars - and probably exactly everything that I want to watch. Violet Evergarden has 13 episodes, a shorter OVA, a feature film length OVA and a 140 minutes movie. It's shorter, I think. At least when compared to the 100+ episodes behemoths the other two in your list are.

  14. Firefox completely ate my edited response, so here's some bullet points: Estocs and Arquebuses exclusively deal Pierce damage, which is the most frequent physical damage immunity. I'd recommend backup weapons like a Morning Star: it deals best of Crush/Pierce and the Body Blows modal (-25 FOR) rocks with Garrote since it targets that defense. The unique Estoc Engoliero do Espirs has some value since it can trigger AoE Ghost Blades, which translates to Hobbled, which will trigger Steel Garrote's health recovery VS afflicted enemies. Speaking of Garrote, you'll want to use it carefully since it costs 2 Zeal and completely whiffs against enemies resistant or immune to DEX afflictions (the Paralyze component has to connect). There's a mod floating around the Deadfire Nexus that reduces the cost to 1, if you are inclined. I wouldn't mix ranged and melee weapons generally. You'll spread your choices thin (there's a hat that works with two-handed melee and one that works with ranged weapons, for example). There is some slight synergy with Two-Handed style since they both count as two-handed weapons, though. For RP, you could consider the soulbound Mace Magistrate's Cudgel (binds with Monk) and the unique Club Shattered Vengeance as they are Woedican weapons. These would free your off-hand for Tulotilo's Palm, which is an awesome small shield that also functions as Fist-type weapon and offers valuable Monk enhancements. Nalpazca is a good choice but the micro-management may not be to your liking. There's a lot of travel in Deadfire so you'll need to reapply Drugs on the regular: this can be frustrating after certain scripted encounters or during boarding battles since you'll need to take a Drug in the thick of it. (Make sure to disable AI when using items since their behaviors will override consumable usage.) Combine Nalpazca with Enduring Dance and you'll be swimming in Wounds. Tread carefully against enemy Wizards since they can cause you to crash prematurely via Arcane Dampener or Arcane Cleanse - Risen Wizards seem to always open with Dampener so consider having your main tank soak it and move on. Abilities to consider: Monk Lightning Strikes/Swift Flurry: I like using the former for two-handed weapons (big damage packets) and the latter when dual-wielding (more opportunities to Crit). Clarity of Agony: A useful counter versus Arcane Dampener (but not Cleanse). Raised Torment: The AoE Stun works well on an off-tank and counts as an Affliction, again triggering Steel Garrote's heal on afflicted enemy passive. It's good to have a Wound spender, too. Enduring Dance: Awesome Wound generation and ACC bonus. Flagellant's Path: You can never go wrong with a teleport. This isn't something you'll want to use all the time but it's useful for repositioning. Thunderous Blows: +5 MIG and +2 PEN. The bonus PEN is mandatory on PoTD. Turning Wheel: +1 INT and +2% Burn Damage lash per Wound. Note the lash won't work on ranged attacks (the Community Patch fixes this). Skyward Kick: Another Wound spender. It's got some nice flair and style. Paladin Sworn Rival: Bonus damage and returns the Zeal cost when the foe dies. The bonus damage applies to (just about?) everything, including Garrote's DoT (new band name). Shared Flames/Eternal Devotion: Can't go wrong with more ACC. Lay on Hands: Solid healing, especially with the bonus INT from Turning Wheel. The upgrades (more like sidegrades) are nice but mind the additional Zeal cost. Exalted Endurance: Probably the best out of the Paladin Auras since Focus doesn't stack (at least without another certain mod) with other active ACC bonuses. Reviving Exhortation: One of those abilities you'll cringe when picking up but will want to have it just in case. On RP, a Steel Garrote's favored dispositions are Cruel and Rational while disfavored are Diplomatic and Benevolent. In my current Steel Garrote/Forbidden Fist run, I'm playing him as a corrupt lawful evil enforcer type: plays sides as long as he can, sticks to rules when they benefit him, and has no qualms breaking contracts to serve Woedica (as is her domain). A Nalpazca could fit this well since they'll interact with Deadfire's underbelly to get Drugs. There's not many unique dialogues for Steel Garrote, but given your experiences in PoE1, I think you'll be pleased with what is available. Agreed that Forbidden Fist is probably the best Monk class for Steel Garrote multis. Sworn Rival -> Forbidden Fist -> Garrote has a satisfying "You are already dead." appeal. I like to breach through the frontliners using Flagellant's Path, then run around and stun-death casters and archers.

  15. Having recently finished PoE1 with WM, I've been thinking about an interesting build for a Deadfire playthrough. The plan, from the beginning, was to empower Woedica and play as Steel Garrote paladin in Deadfire. I always knew I'd multiclass as well, but I wasn't sure which class/subclass to pick - but since Zahua was in my party I started thinking about making it Nalpazca, both because I was his friend and also because the drugs ultimately helped my character deal with the experiences of the past. So that's the RP story, but I thought I'd ask your help in making it an actual functioning build (with PotD in mind, but not solo). So far I'm thinking of something like this: 1. Weapons - Estoc & Arquebus, but that's more of a style choice, as that's what my character used in PoE1. 2. The plan - Primarily a damage dealer than can function as a secondary tank if need be. 3. Potential Synergy - It would seem that Monk tree has a lot of abilities that increase attack speed (which would in turn increase the healing from Steel Garrote passive - other characters in the party will provide afflictions). Both Monk and Paladin have a lot of durability abilities and talens, so that seems like a secondary consideration. But that's pretty skin dip, I'm sure there's something more interesting to construct here, but I lack the knowledge about Deadfire to make it, unfortunately. 4. Attributes - no idea here either. Looks like Intelligence for longer Garrote and Perception for high accuracy would be handy, though. Any and all pointers would be much appreciated

  18. could be an overstatement. am feeling bad we ain't confident that the overstatement is clear or significant. there is a noteworthy number o' kids who prioritize education when they is being recruited for football and basketball by the big schools. every year stanford gets some good players who were also recruited by usc, ohio state, alabama and every other big name school. also, am guaranteeing that a large % o' the time mom is in the room when a coach is making a recruiting pitch to her son. moms tend to be interested in the comparative educational strengths o' the programs recruiting her son to play football or basketball. you wanna disappoint mom? but yeah, almost all the kids being recruited by big universities believe they is gonna get drafted first round o' the pro draft. too many kids destined to never make to the nfl or nba, much less make it in the nfl or nba, are already picking out the car they is gonna buy when they get drafted, and the house they will buy for mom when they sign their first pro contract. w/o moms, the number o' kids focused on anything but education would be extreme high. as it is, the % o' kids focused on education is too low. HA! Good Fun!

  20. Millennium Actress (2001) by Satoshi Kon. I was supposed to be watching Paranoia Agent, but somehow this happened instead. This is my second time watching it - the first time, I watched it in English, which even at the time of watching it, I knew was merely okay-ish at best. The main problem with that dub was that contrary to what one might consider to be ideal, the lady voicing the titular character was simply not a good choice (but the other characters were mostly fine). I liked it, but did not love it then, and had some big problems with really investing into a main story that was being let down by a less-than-great voice actress. A couple of years later now and armed with the awesome power of being more okay with Japanese voice-acting when done right...dang. I, uh, don't remember it being quite this engrossing, and it was like I was watching it for the first time again. What an odd hybridization of a serious drama and a bunch of silly comedy happening outside of the drama that works so well. Well, that's all I'll say about that, I gotta watch an episode or two of Paranoia Agent while I can. Why, oh why did Satoshi Kon have to die so young? And his next movie was to about androids with them starring as the main characters (Dreaming Machine)...could've finally been the android-related media that I've always longed for. (e): Oh, also, the animation was a lot prettier than I remember it being, but again, it's been two years since I watched it and was exposed to other...more ungood animation styles.

  26. Understood. But you need not build a SG/FF as dual wield. You could go, for example, with a two handed weapon. The Whispers of the Endless Paths great sword for example would be great, as foes will often miss you and thus will proc offensive parry, which will daze them and heal you. You can still use the forbidden fist attack regardless of the weapon(s) you are wielding. Also, the once per encounter Run Through ability is devastating, and will take out pretty much any foes, except the big bosses.

  30. By the way, I'm in Overlord season 3 now ... and jeez, it went from incel anime to really f'ing dark. Guess it's a pretty good metaphor(?) for how little we think about the moral consequences of the actions we do in video games. Like, we kill hundreds of people and don't care, because our goal is right behind them. Overlord is the same... he has no feelings towards the people he kills. And he suddenly kills a lot. At this point I'm not even sure why exactly he is doing that ... with his powers he could easily do lots of good in the world, but instead he does whatever. What's infuriating about it is that the other critters in the world have no way of fighting against him. They have no chance. There is seemingly nothing that can stop him from doing what he does.

  31. Cool! You've got lots of good options then . One clarification re-reading my post: when I wrote "This spell is so fun and really powerful with high PL/MIG/INT. It can melt a surprising amount of tightly grouped foes and it feels very Trickster-y." I was of course referring to the Wall of Many Colors, not Dazzling Lights (my note was confusing). Dazzling Lights is very useful but is not going to melt anyone . EDIT: one last thought, you might want to check out this thread if you haven't already:

  32. Imbue spells does require a ranged weapon. Never tried but you can probably play around it while dualwielding Fire in the hole (AOE mortar with build in jump for more Imbue trigger) and a melee weapon : CC and spread DOT at range, close in for a finishing blow when they are low, should work without needing to swap weapon. Or go trickster/shifter! Wizard are (not) overrated anyway....

  33. Interesting. I'm still new enough with the game that I'm still making use of companions for story purposes, so the defensive element may be less of an issue. But I'm certainly intrigued. If nothing else, I welcome a build that allows me to mix things up from fight to fight if need be. I'm no fan of using 'one size fits all' tactics. Another very intriguing idea @Exanos. I have contemplated trying to work an AA into some combination of classes in the past. I guess my one hesitation has been that it seems to be too heavily weighted towards ranged combat. I'd love a build that makes fair use of both bow and swords, but there are very few combinations I know of that benefits equally from using both. (For example a build that plinks away from distance before leaping into the fray for some melee devastation. I guess sorta similar to a Soulblade that builds focus from range). Do Arcane Archer's imbue abilities require a ranged weapon to work? I mean, from the name alone I'd assume 'yes', but I know that's no certainty in this game.

  34. Good question: I just fired up the game and tried with Llengrath Warding Staff and Nannasin Cobra Strike: casting the spell reveals you but of course if you use Smoke Veil again you stay invisible - until you strike someone. Note that using melee weapons with an invisible rogue can be tedious in some fights because enemies move around when they don't see you - so you can get the annoying "miss - out of range". It was actually quite balanced, it depended very much on the fight. But I definitely found a lot of uses for Repulsive Visage, Freezing Rake and Wall of Many Colors. Of course "free" Dazzling Light to lure enemies in one spot, it gets refunded before combat starts. This spell is so fun and really powerful with high PL/MIG/INT. It can melt a surprising amount of tightly grouped foes and it feels very Trickster-y. The defensive buffs I didn't use much but that's because on Upscaled PotD they barely make any difference on this build. You will get hit, and hard, unless you disable enemies.

  35. Because in terms of our generation automobile terms, they're typically trunk cargo vehicles. If they are not trunks, then they get called hatch or liftbacks. Occasionally you have the sporty coupe with a liftback, but then they tend to be low-slung with at least half of it being very short cargo height that often not even a full grocery bag would fit under. eg, I like being able to put seat backs down and slide a 55" TV box into the car, having the passenger be able to access all stuff while the car is still moving (being small I will often climb over the front seat and into the back to grab stuff, hah) and not having to get out of the car, and have the potential for a medium to large pet crate. Thus partitioned off cargo space is not acceptable, and those "pass thru" holes are not good enough at all. Edit: if hubby ever gets a car that I could actually drive comfortably (vs. a giant full sized van or something), that could change the equation a bit, but it's not a given Edit: I still miss my cat. Dunno if I'll get another one, but it's not completely off the table. Maybe w/a bigger house one day.

  36. Frenzy, Bloodlust and Blood Thirst work well enough to speed the shooting up though. Bloody Slaughter, Blooded etc. also work well enough. And for a ranged character the self damage might be more manageable. If the preferred war bow is Frostseeker I would pick a Helwalker instead of a Berserker though: Thunderous Blows will give you Tenacious/+2 PEN as well, dmg bonus from higher Might, you'll get a bigger AoE from Turning Wheel, higher Accuracy from Enduring Dance and also a good speedup (Lightning Strikes).

  37. The downside with berserker is its 30% hit to crit bonus is for melee only. Maybe this is not the best pick for a ranged build?

  39. [CLASS BUILD] The Man of Mistery – SC Trickster Solo Upscaled PotD Class: Trickster Concept: Fun and Versatile Rogue that mixes spellcasting, ranged and melee attacks to adapt to each situation and tricks his enemies into certain death. Optimized for a No-Rest run. Game Version: RTwP. Works with latest updates and DLCs as of v5.0.00040. I recommend the Full Community Patch and the No Forced Rests mod (otherwise just metagame around them, it’s fully viable but just a bit annoying). PotD Solo Viable: Yes. Of note, I think this is a Solo build that is particularly well compatible with party play because he can do so many things that will benefit others. Companion: Nope. -----WHAT IS INTERESTING ABOUT THIS BUILD?------ Why go with an SC Trickster? As an SC Rogue, it’s probably not the strongest Solo option (arguably it is Assassin). As a Trickster, multiclassing is usually the way to go as it pairs so well with other classes, in particular martial ones. I wanted to try out this build nevertheless to see how much mileage I could get out of its unique access to high-level Illusion spells, notably by stacking as much Illusion Power Levels as I could while achieving a really cool, nightmarish style (see this thread) fitting well the fluff of an Arcane Rogue who vanquishes his enemies with scary illusions and deadly, freezing tricks. I was especially curious about using Kalakoth’s Freezing Rake and Wall of Many Colors as a Rogue. These are spells that I’ve loved since PoE1, particularly for their utility against certain Adra/Alpine large beasts, but in Deadfire I haven’t used them so much as a SC Wizard because 1) there is usually another certain Wall spell that I want to keep up and 2) there is a lot of competition on PL8 spells and offensive spells in general. All in all, I’ve found this SC Trickster quite surprisingly powerful and very fun to play Solo, mostly for its versatility and because it’s a Rogue archetype that doesn’t play exactly like a typical Deadfire Solo Rogue. Here are some key highlights: We reach PL14 on Illusion spells (we can even reach PL16 on Freezing Rake wielding Sun & Moon at night). That is a lot of PL, which combined with high No-Rest stats make all Illusion DMG and CC attacks hit like trucks. Huge AoE, nice ACC, long duration, large damage… We can then supplement that with powerful ranged and melee offense depending on the situation. I would usually always start with Dazzling Lights to lure/group enemies but then every combat sequence can be totally different depending on the enemies and layout. I’ll detail key abilities and strategies below. Because it has so many options, this build is the opposite of a one-trick pony and can actually stay in most fights for some time before resetting the encounter or abusing Gouging Strike, if at all. Even if in many situations on Upscaled PotD you still have to go invisible/resest before the end of the fight, I have found that you might reset less often than Assassin for instance, and can take down a lot more enemies than you thought in one go (ah, the random power of Fyonlecg's Wall of Many Colors…). Of course, it should be also be said that as a SC Rogue with non-renewable resources, completing the harder DLC fights (non-resettable, small battlefield, lots of enemies with lots of health) without cheese requires Arcana. But that’s also true for an Assassin. Or you know... abuse Strand of Favor and remove all challenge (that is not what this build/post is about, but it is a possibility). -----SPECS------ Race: I went with Pale Elf for style and +PER Background: The White that Wends – Hunter FINAL STATS WITH ALL PERMABUFFS AND NO-REST BUFFS AS OF 5.0 (without combat buffs): MIG 22 (15 Base +2 Berath +1 Gift from Machine +2 Alchemic Brawn +2 Hot Razor Skewers) CON 12 (3 Base +2 Berath +2 Alchemic Brawn +2 Konstanten Boon +3 Girdle of Eoten CON) DEX 27 (18 Base +1 Elf +2 Berath +2 Alchemic Guile +2 Amira’s Blessing +2 Footprints Ahu Taka) PER 30 (18 Base +1 Elf +1 White that Wends +2 Berath +1 Konstanten Boon +1 Effigy: Sagani +2 Alchemic Guile +1 Savage Cunning +1 Cauldron Brew +1 Ajamuut’s Cloak +1 Kuaru’s Prize) INT 26 (18 Base +2 Berath +1 Konstanten Boon +2 Alchemic Wits +2 Charm of Bones +1 Kuaru’s Prize) RES 11 (3 Base +2 Berath +2 Alchemic Wits +2 Nature’s Resolve +2 Rikuhu’s Blessing) ADDITIONAL PERMABUFFS: Food: Hot Razor Skewers Adratic Glow All Trainings Dawnstar Blessing Luminous Adra Potion Nature’s Resolve (Accuracy) Savage Cunning (Survival) Galawain’s Gift Magran’s Blessing Infamous Captain, Bonus Skills, Champion Stats, Port Maje vendor, Fully discovered Map, Bonus Money… invested all 105 Berath’s Blessing Points SKILLS I just spent between Mechanics, Athletics, Stealth and Survival, Diplomacy. Weapon Set 2: Kitchen Stove (Thunderous Report, Everything and Anything) single wielded. Weapon Set 3: Monastic trained Fists. Head: Whitewitch Mask. Neck: Charm of Bones. Chest: Pale Hide (Ghost in White, Dread Howl). Cape: Ajamuut’s Stalking Cloak. Gloves: Gauntlets of Accuracy. Rings: Kuaru’s Prize, Ring of the Marksman. Boots: Footprints of Ahu Taka. Belt: Girdle of Eoten Constitution. Pet: Harley. -----STRATEGIES------ I’ll just outline a few simple example situations but there are so many fun combos to create and you can mix depending on the situation and the resources you have left (I always start with Weapon Set 1): Melee Style: Lure with Dazzling Lights, get close in stealth, combat starts, cast Repulsive Visage to Terrify everyone, Switch to Fists, Use Gambit as much as you want (you have 11 Guile ), reapply Repulsive Visage, Gambit ad nauseam and other Rogue attacks or autoattacks. Can also use Dread Howl. Works surprisingly well! Mage Style: Lure with Dazzling Lights, Gaze of the Adragan, 2 or 3 Freezing Rakes, mix and match with Wall of Many Colors and Thunderous Report for fun. Dread Howl can help if survivors get aggressive. (EDIT: one Freezing Rake can do about 300 DMG per target on a Crit, on average definitely in the 200s). Rogue Style: Lure with Dazzling Lights, Fire AoE with Vanishing Strike from stealth > combat starts, all enemies are stunned and you’re invisible. Follow up with AoE Gouging Strike (you have reloaded instantly the shot from stealth), Pernicious Cloud, Smoke Veil. From there, you can try to add an Arterial Strike + Smoke Veil or simply just retreat to a safe location and wait it out. Won't be long . Weird/Wael Style: Lure with Dazzling Lights, Gaze of the Adragan, Wall of Many Colors to hit all enemies, see what happens then and what is best to apply next. -----THE END------ That’s it. Not the strongest Solo build but really fun to play, especially if the unique features of the Trickster subclass have triggered your curiosity. I also think it would be an absolute monster in a party. Let me know if you have any comment or question!

  40. If you were making a 18t anti ship warhead for a missile I'd suspect you'd be better off making it fragment into bomblets under almost any circumstances rather than have it be 18t in one explosion. Guess they could put an 18t warhead on one of their big ballistic missiles but they're nowhere near accurate enough to hit near moving targets, so they'd be of limited use. OTOH, you could fairly easily pack 18t of explosives into a remote controlled suicide submarine (or alternatively, and prosaically, a 'torpedo'). That would have many of the advantages that UAVs have in terms of ignoring the needs of the squishy meats sacks for protection and the like while making them more difficult to stop too. Or use them like the Decima MAS of WW2 used their chariots to infiltrate harbours and anchorages. That would also explain why they do it as an underwater explosion.

  41. US-developed hypersonic missile hit within 6 inches of target, says Army secretary. Warheads? We dont need no stinkin' warheads! Stick a tungsten penetrator in it and watch everything get shattered by the kinetic force. Ive always wished they developed the "Rods from God".

  43. I got to some platform style (sorta) jumping and combat areas, went "is there going to be a lot more of this kind of thing?" and haven't been back to it since. It's an interesting technical and sometimes visual showcase and there were some aspects I did enjoy, but eh ... didn't really capture my imagination. I probably had more "fun" watching other people showcase the funky combat style in videos, because they were good at it and I am not. Tell me if it suddenly becomes an awesome game halfway through or something, tho.

  45. After a short break I went back to Druidstone – The Secret of the Menhir Forest from GOG and finished my goal, to complete the game on Hard Difficulty. The difficulty is pretty challenging, and to get all the missions on three stars, the player needs a lot of patience. The only downside of the game is little bit cheesy storytelling, but it pretty much fits the art and the gameplay. I am still missing three star award on one mission, so the next goal to finish is already set .

  48. Greetings friends! We absolutely love what you guys are doing with creating your own watercolor portraits and we want to help out! Our amazing and talented Matt Hansen created a PSD doc with instructions on how to create a watercolor portrait to match the style of the game! We've also included the texture as a separate file in you aren't using Photoshop. Enjoy! WatercolorTemplate.zip
