  1. The last minute rush before MCM Comic-Con London on Friday. Currently sewing heroically. Tomorrow will be spent sorting out the strapping of the armour and the appropriate padding for it all....

  2. I don't understand any of the posts about Code Vein. Like, I know what the words mean individually, but the sentences that are constructed using those words seem like an impenetrable puzzle.

  3. My girl got put under today for her cheek lump and thankfully it was just an abscess and not another tumor. She's hating life right now but it's good to know that she hasn't had any new tumors. Went to a concert in Boulder last night with my wife and her friend and all I can say is that I'm old and I can't do it like I used to. We were laughing on the way there that we were going to a concert at what should be our bed times.

  4. Good afternoon, I wanted to reach out to your wonderful team to let you know that I as a gamer I am extremely thankful for your RPGs Fall Out New Vegas and The Outer Worlds. I have heard rumors of your relationship with Bethesda which I understand it wasn't a good one... anyways us gamers are all with you! The only way they can make Fall Out 5 better than their previous games is if you guys are the ones developing it. Fall Out 76 was a total failure and this new subscription based program just made it even worst and made me glad I only rented the game for one day. Thank you every single one of you for bringing a great new story and for your devotion to the game, I also want to wish your company the best and I hope this game brings great success to you! Sincerely, Ctorres17kayy

  5. I never thought whataboutism was going to be a very good defense for Trump but as you can see in this thread it seems to be working among his supporters Personally, I thought Clinton deserved to be impeached for lying under oath and obstructing justice and find Trump's actions even more deserving but since we're living in bizarro world I'm sure he'll weasel his way out too since it seems like we've gone even further into hyperpartisanship

  8. am in an enviable position as we were one o' the folks criticizing clinton back in 1998 and were displeased with democrat efforts to mislead and misdirect. hypocrisy from a number o' democrats in 98 does not make the lynching comments by the President, or support o' Congressmen such as graham, any less wrong just as democrats making excuses for Presidential lies in 98 does not absolve the current President o' such. recall: clinton were in fact impeached following an investigation by ken starr. as with almost all investigations, ken starr's efforts were not transparent to the public, in spite o' what republicans would have you believe in 2019. probable don't wanna get into republican hypocrisy regarding clinton impeachment in 98, eh? hypocrisy from politicians scrambling to protect their jobs is hardly surprising, and when folks such as nadler, davis, meeks and biden engage in such unfortunate behaviour, they deserve to be called to an accounting. however, recognition o' political hypocrisy doesn't make the accusations being level'd at the current President less true. HA! Good Fun!

  9. I kind of want to scoop all those expats and orphans of dead/declining RPG studios in one place so that they'd pool resources and create the sublime experience, but alas, people are not Sims. Good luck then.

  10. I also got a small download from Microsoft store. So don't know why it's doing full downloads for some and these small ones for others. Edit: So I went back to the Microsoft store and clicked on the ... choose update and it started downloading the full game then. Don't know what that small download the first time was about but maybe you should try this Clawdius.

  14. I'm a big fan of a good game score, and I really like to get a feel for a game ahead of time with the music. Obviously I can't do that since as far as I can tell there isn't an OST released yet, but I really hope we get one soon.

  16. blood code = character class gift = special ability inherit = master the gift so that it can be used by other blood codes They could just simply call things what they are instead of substituting fancy words and phrases to make things more confusing, but it's a (very) Japanese game and Japan gonna Japan.

  20. I defeated the Successor of the Throat boss in Code Vein, first try. That makes 2 bosses in a row I have beaten first try. I don't know if I'm overleveled or have just gotten better at the game, either way, I'll take it. I'm surprised I survived, I was down to a sliver of health with no healing left for the last 30 seconds or so of that fight, I thought for sure I'd fall. With the victory I picked up another new blood code, this one perfect for an offensive caster build. Not my jam, but there is at least 1 gift I very much want to inherit from this blood code.

  21. Eld Nary is so good that when I used it first time on multi class chanter I rerolled SC chanter immediately With Blightheart it gets even better as quite often you will be able to cast second one before first one expires and then combat is basically finished you can just watch the fireworks

  22. For myself the quality of the dpad was a huge advantage of going with Dualshock. In fighting games in particular, it's so much better, and when I use the left stick my thumb reaches it just fine. For a few years I had a Cyborg gamepad, a 360 gamepad variant that allowed you to switch the dpad and left analogue stick, at any time. Perhaps you can find one of those.

  24. Monks are very good in Deadfire in general. Also because you can do lots of different stuff with them (see multiclassing) and it's all pretty great. Single Class Monks are also very good because they get really nice high level abilites.

  25. Since no one is mentioning it - you don’t bring SC cipher for pure damage or cc especially not serafen, you use it for ally targeting powers mostly pen buff and ancient memory.

  28. Wanted to make traditional greek Gyros, but ended up making something quite different. Seasoned lamb strips with pepper, salt, paprika, thyme and oregano. Instead of tzatziki, I used rømme ("Norwegian" sour cream), and mixed in scallion, salt, pepper, and the juice of half a lemon. Slices of tomato and red onion. All packed into brioche hot dog buns, with feta cheese on top. No space for fries sadly! Was quite good, but next time I'll add some chili pepper, and maybe have the red onions pickled as well. Or just make the traditional Gyros I wanted in the first place.

  29. Dak Prescott's level of play (not style, mind you, but level) reminds me a lot of Kirk Cousins': he and his team will destroy and pile up great stats against lesser teams, but there's a sickening tendency for them to fold in the worst ways against good teams or in season-breaking situations. The key, it seems then, is to ideally never find yourself in those kinds of situations, but that's not really how football works. It especially becomes harder once you actually pay them real money and the quality of their supporting cast starts to drop, and then you start adding in key injuries occurring as the season progresses. ...Uh-oh. In contrast, look no further than the Packers walloping the Cowboys a number of times throughout the years in critical games even while the talent and injury disparity between the two teams has often been absolutely nuts (that 2016 playoff game we had absolutely no business even playing in, never mind winning - we were broken on so many levels that year and that game). I don't pretend to understand how it keeps happening, but it does. Maybe it's time for a coaching change.

  34. My CK2 run is petering out to a natural death, just in time to switch to The Outer Worlds. Tried to play a little tall initially with me initially trying to just limit myself to De Jure Italy. But in the end it became crush-or-be-crushed and I had to take bites out of neighbouring realms just to keep up with them, and before I knew it the usual thing had happened and I had all of Italia, Francia and Germania. Truth be told, I don't think the game balance is in a great state at the moment, with too much attention on "sexy" extraneous features like bloodlines and artifacts and not enough on the core game balance. It's been over a year since I played a full game with any serious intent, but somehow Empires seem more stable (and consequently blobby) than ever. India is a perfect red blob ...under the Western Protectorate. Ideally, I don't think something like that should ever be possible without serious abuse of game rules but such is the game right now. Some of this is probably down to the Jade Dragon CBs (this being the first game I've played with that DLC installed), notably Force Vassalisation. On my own part, gaining (or rather forging) Alexander's bloodline has broken the game apart, with essentially free Kingdom-level CBs allowing me to sweep in and easily rip the heart out of the HRE by taking all of Germany instantly, and doing the same to the Muslim realms in Africa. I think that if I ever play the game again it will probably be with Jade Dragon off, because it feels like it was never balanced properly, and with the announcement of CK3, never probably will. Crusades are kinda broken too as there's basically no reason for any Catholic ruler to ever turn them down now, but I can't comment on how it is from the perspective of being a Crusade target. It's certainly not something I'd look forward to. P.S. Elective governments are still pants-on-head levels of stupid too.

  36. You certainly are out of the loop, yes. Another loop you appear to be out of is that Obsidian had no input on the decision to be EGS (and Microsoft Store) exclusive for 12 months, so you're complaining on the forums of the wrong company.
