  8. It's a confidence vote among members of the government though? In fact his own party??? Weird stance to suggest that a politician, and party leader, lying in the House to save his own skin shouldn't face scrutiny from members of his own party who feel it's a sign of poor leadership lol.

  9. You should. I think Miura is probably the manga/comic artist that best manages to do both beautiful and horrifying often at the same time.

  10. Debonaire or Trickster: different gameplay because usually you'd pick a Trickster for melee combat and a Debonaire for ranged or reach weapons. No particular gear in mind, but Trickster would profit a lot from gear that raises defenses, like Gipon Prudensco, Bracers and Cape of Major Deflection and so on. Using Sasha's Singing Scimitar as main weapon would be a smart choice imo because it allows for a free empower use in every encounter with an invocation which is very cool. Something like empowered "Killers Froze Stuff" and then smack the helpless enemies is good. Can be paired with a second sabre for dual wielding - or pick a shield for more defense. Troubadour/Debonaire could use a weapon with increased crit effect (see stuff like the pistol Scordeo's Trophy or the pike Wicked Beast or the hunting bow Essense Interrupter or so). Pistol + modal (rushed reload) suppresses the reloading bonus of Sure-Handed Ila, so you might as well use two pistols + two weapon style, Sure Handed Ila + Aefyllath Ues Mith Fyr chants and Scordeo's Trophy + Eccea's Arcane Blaster. Full guns(l)inger. Troubadour/Streetfigther should maybe get Maia's armor (Sharpshooter's Garb) at some point and use a pet like Cutthroat Cosmo or Abraham, Acina's Tricorn, Ring of the Marksman. As with nearly all Rogues I wouldn't put too much into Might but would prefer DEX, PER and INT. Melee Trickster might want some Resolve, too.

  13. Our health minister was forced to resign for breaking covid rules- he drove too far from home to go mountain biking during a lockdown. Shouldn't really have been outright mountain biking either, since an accident --> emergency staff potentially being exposed needlessly. Which is a lot more trivial than getting sloshed at someone's birthday with dozens of other people as bojo did- and then lying about in Parliament, which is what most of the people who voted against him will be really annoyed about, and is a resignation tier event. Certainly doesn't help that the tories have the stereotype of being a bunch of overbred toffs many of whom would embarrass a twit of the year competition, and think rules don't apply to them but only to the plebs. And you can't get around that by calling yourself Boris instead of Alexander de Pfeffel.

A report on loot boxes by the Norwegian Consumer Council: https://www.beuc.eu/press-media/news-events/loot-boxes-how-gaming-industry-manipulates-and-exploits-consumers https://www.forbrukerradet.no/report-on-loot-boxes-insert-coin/ Nothing particularly new, except the application of AI. At the moment only 2 countries have banned loot boxes, Belgium and the Netherlands. I would welcome a full ban on any loot boxes and in-game currencies, which would effectively destroy f2p games. --- To avoid double posting. https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/itchios-queer-games-bundle-is-back-offering-hundreds-of-games-for-pride-month Link to the $10 bundle: https://itch.io/b/1405/queer-games-bundle-2022-pay-what-you-can-edition There are a lot of visual novels, walking simulators, and demos of questionable quality, several decent games include: Lucah: Born of a Dream and its sequel's demo 2064: Read Only Memories A Mortician's Tale Adaca Titan Tactics The North Lofty Quest

  18. Jax's album is coming along: I guess that killing blow damage = force for the ragdoll of the corpse because enemies and their weapons have a tendency to go flying, sometimes 50+ yards, when I kill them, now that I hit for a lot of damage. On the down side, it makes it a pain to collect loot. On the up side, sometimes the weapon winds up in a hilarious location: I spent about 15 minutes save scumming (refurnishing costs 5000 elexit) while deciding what style to refurnish my house at The Bastion. I wound up going with Alb furnishings, on account of them looking the most comfortable: Berserker furnishings were very barebones. Cleric furnishings were cool but instead of couches and chairs they had uncomfortable looking benches and stools. Morkon furnishings look cool, on account of the spikes and skulls, but the bed looked like a soiled mattress on top of a pallet. Outlaw furnishing were just disgusting looking.

  20. You can actually if you’re a Loremaster. As a Wizard/Chanter you can use an empower point to replenish all your spells (2/PL for most PLs) if you quickly switch to the Grimoire of Vaporous Wizardry and use the point then, then switch back to your favorite grimoire (or use Vaporous the whole time). You can do this several fights in a row, which in certain cases is strictly better than Blood Sacrifice. Then any following easy fight, empower Her Revenge or Her Tears with Sasha’s and refill your empower points pool instantly to the max.

  21. You dont think that if you part of essential services and you working in an office 24/7 with a group of people having a party with those same people makes no difference to virus exposure because you already exposed because you seeing those same people everyday ? In other words the UK banned social gatherings because of the highly transmissible nature of the virus. But its irrelevant if you have to work everyday with people because what difference does a party make with those same people?

  22. I've started in on Black Geyser and it is pretty enjoyable. Seems like a solid BG type clone. I'm not too far into the story, but so far it is engaging.

  23. It's a non-downside if you're doing a no rest run though. You can cure injuries without resting but I don't believe you can restore Empower points or per-rest abilities without actually resting.

  26. They need to grow up and stop pretending that this is not about all the guns in circulation. Of course it is. Also, they have decided democratically that they are not willing to fundamentally change the constitutionally protected right to said guns. So - it is what it is.

  28. This is true. Personally, if I wanted to empower spells I would go with vanilla wizard because you lose out on too many great spells with a specialist wizard. But bloodmage's fantastic ability to regenerate spells outweigh the loss of empowering spells IMO.

  29. Leaders that aren't able to follow their own rules usually lose respect and trust of people. So he is problem for his party currently In politics we overreact always, that is how Johnson got prime minister in first place People demanded that she resign, even though she didn't club during lockdowns, as lockdowns were already ended, her mistake was not having her official phone of prime minister with her (which is not actually required from her, but still it was seen so bad that she made in international news) because someone she had seen for minute was in contact with someone who tested positive to covid. Meaning that she didn't break any rules or restrictions, but people still saw that she should have done more.

  30. Wikipedia is just a reference, you shouldnt use it for the foundation of your analysis or research It can be very useful as a starting point or just a quick summary of a debates talking points but its always recommended to use other websites for information But the biggest source of ongoing misinformation around Putins War is what comes directly from the Kremlin and the current Russian media houses. And sadly many Russians dont have access to alternative sources of information so they still think this unprovoked invasion was about Neo-Nazi, NATO and Nukes ( the 3 N )

  31. am playing through the ashes dlc. we typical play on hard and this content represents a serious difficulty boost, due in large part to low levels but not entire. unless you are a serious glutton for punishment, we would not recommend any difficulty beyond core... and make an animal companion heavy party regardless. is our advice to go with leopards and horses as these is the best low level choices for animal companions. leopards in particular are amazing tanks and a couple o' leopards goes a long way towards mitigating difficulty spikes. observations w/o any real organization: is bugs remaining, but so far has been playable w/o having us rage quit. am liking the alternatives to combat but there is no avoiding much o' the combat. writing is owlcat standard and meh at best but chances are if you are bothering to read this and have any intention o' playing the dlc, you already are aware of owlcat writing limits and are ok with their standard fare. there are transitions 'tween areas which is... annoying. recall willodus' mansion in alushinyrra? click on the door and then you gotta choose options and make text-based skill checks to get through the mansion? not nearly as straightforward or rational as were the skill checks to reach the dragon's lair in act 3, yes? the through the ashes dlc takes what were bad 'bout the willodus mansion interaction and multiplies, then repeats the experience many times. am suspecting am halfway through 'cause am a bit beyond level three and am understanding level five is max. quest based xp is kinda nice as 'posed to per kill. in fact, for most o' the cemetery map we used one o' our leopards to draw undead into encounters with bandits and monsters at which point the baddies would kill each other. no lost xp for fail to personal kill baddies avoids the degenerative xp farming gameplay. in fact, based on our run thus far, you ordinarily gain more xp for using alternatives to combat, although a few such alternatives will rely on rope or tools and those items is also having a premium value and may be needed for those annoying text-based map transitions we already mentioned. do you topple a statue to kill a powerful spellcaster or do you keep the tools you need to knock down the statue 'cause you most definite will need at some point in the future? ... overall am enjoying though is only our preternatural obstinance which has us playing on hard difficulty. repeating for emphasis: this dlc is extreme unforgiving. nevertheless, while am only halfway done, we would recommend... save to note the enhanced edition o' wotr is only a few months remote and it might be better to wait... though no doubt the enhanced edition will create new bugs which will bork a few builds and quests and then you will possible need wait a couple more months. well, here is looking forward to the second half o' the dlc wherein we presumably need fight demons sans cold iron weapons. HA! Good Fun!

  32. @kanisatha Did you enjoy Dragon Age 2's time skips between acts? A lot of people did not. Expeditions Rome copies it but does it worse really. It does it worse, because your character comes out of Act 1 with a mission and very possibly political ambitions. So having your character not pursue their agenda in the downtime is very immersion breaking. And the writing in general deteriorates as the game progresses. While I could replay acts one and two, the thought of revisiting act three repulses me - they may have revamped some gameplay, but unless they rewrote the third half of the game, I do not see me ever revisiting this, just as I'd never play dragon age 2 again. I enjoy the companions well enough. They each have a short story arc. Nothing important really, but they work and add to the experience. I do not find the upgrades to the camp meaningful enough to recommend the game based on them. You will try to conquer all regions in each act to get more upgrades, but in reality it is just something to draw out the length of the game.

  33. they get pretty ruinous, like several 1000s of gold per level of repair damage at superb. at normal/fine you could repair regularly (though i still prefer swapping stuff out instead), but the few times i did abydon i pretty much didn't go past exceptional, relying on summoned weapons to scale past that on any piece of equipment. even then, i'd keep a bunch of equipment in reserve to swap stuff out rather than repair.
