Went to Tehran. It's war over here, folks! In every major city people are fighting security forces with bare hands. If you guys don't see me here again it probably means I died on the streets fighting some religious nut jobs. The government is on the verge of collapse though. Wish us victory! ✌8 points

Considering that there are no https://ec.europa.eu/info/sites/default/files/business_economy_euro/banking_and_finance/documents/factsheet-agrifood-eu-sanctions_en.pdf "Contrary to Russia’s disinformation, the disruption of agricultural production and trade in Ukraine and the spike in global food prices is not caused by EU sanctions - but the very own actions of the Russian Government, such as: Russia should put an end to its actions to avoid a major food crisis. Agricultural products can be imported into the EU from Ukraine - and transferred to third countries! There are no EU sanctions on imports from Ukraine whatsoever. Even products from the non-government controlled areas of the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts can be imported, under certain conditions (if examined and approved by the Ukrainian authorities). Phytosanitary products, including herbicides, fertilisers and agricultural machineries can be exported from the EU to Ukraine without restrictions! The restrictions on import of certain potash fertilisers under the EU sanctions on Russia and Belarus only apply to products imported to the EU and do not concern exports of them to Ukraine from the EU or from Russia. There is no cap or EU restriction for import of phytosanitary products as final products Public financing or financial assistance for trade to Ukraine is not restricted! Any EU company can invest and support agricultural production in Ukraine, except in the non-government controlled areas of the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts, Crimea or Sevastopol There are no EU sanctions targeting ancillary services for importing agricultural products into the EU from Ukraine and transfer them to third countries! EU companies can transport by road, air and sea agricultural products from Ukraine directly to the EU and onwards to partners, including via Ukrainian companies or any other non-sanctioned non-Russian companies. EU sanctions cover only bilateral trade between the EU and Russia - not international trade! EU sanctions have no extra-territorial effect. Third country persons and firms can import agrifood from Russia under EU sanctions if they do that entirely outside the EU. EU’s sanctions excluded a limited number of Russian banks from the SWIFT network. Banking relations via SWIFT can still continue via the other Russian banks. Agricultural products in Russia are not targeted by EU sanctions! EU sanctions do not prohibit EU businesses to purchase, import or pay for Russian agricultural products, provided that sanctioned persons are not involved. The EU has carefully avoided a direct and comprehensive ban on the import of Russian agricultural products. EU Member States can grant access to EU ports of vessels flying the Russian flag, as well as entry to the EU of Russian road carriers for the purposes of importing or transporting agricultural products, including fertilisers and wheat, that are not subject to prohibitions. When restricted services are necessary for importing agricultural products from Russia (including via Belarus), EU sanctions provide for specific exceptions! EU Member States can authorise Russian-flagged vessels access to EU ports and Russian road transport undertakings to operate in the EU if that is for trade in agricultural or food products, including wheat and fertilisers, if the latter is not otherwise prohibited. Public financing or financial assistance for trade by EU companies in the Russian agri-sector is also possible. Only a specific number of Russian and Belarusian banks – and not all – have been listed and/or de-SWIFTED EU businesses can make and receive payments for trade in agricultural products via other Russian and Belarusian banks EU sanctions also envisage several exceptions for humanitarian purposes By way of example, EU Member States can authorise overfly of their airspace by Russian aircraft if that is required for humanitarian purposes. EU Member States are also authorised to grant access to EU ports of Russian flagged-vessels, as well as entry to the EU of Russian road carriers for the purposes of importing or transporting agricultural products, including fertilizers and wheat, that are not subject to restrictions Agricultural products and food, including herbicides, fertilisers and agricultural machineries, can be exported from the EU to Russia, provided that no listed persons are involved! The cap and restrictions on certain fertilisers only apply to products imported in the EU and it does not concern exports of them to Russia or Belarus. EU asset freezes on Russian or Belarusian companies have minimum impact on the agricultural sector! EU sanctions target those responsible for the brutal aggression of Russia against Ukraine. The involvement of the majority of those responsible in the agricultural sector is highly unlikely. The listing of some persons owning or controlling companies in the Russian fertiliser sector does not prevent them from using their products in Russia. EU sanctions also do not bind operators from third countries that choose to maintain commercial ties with Russia." Commission's guidance about coal has not yet been published so it is difficult to say what it will contain in final form2 points

I also expect (hope?) the Russian nuke threat is just political theater. But Putin himeself, plus others (including the Serbian president?) have said since in public statements that Putin is not bluffing about using nukes to defend annexed "Russian territory." As for these mobilized geezers, yeah it boggles the mind to think Putin believes these losers can turn the tide on the battlefield. They just lost the last of their T-72 force, abandoned in Izyum. They're now relegated to using T-62s and BMP-1s taken out of storage since the 1960s. Meanwhile, Western arms supplies are only increasing, in both quantity and quality, right now. Even the Biden Administration is supposedly still, in secret, working through the details of giving the Ukrainians Patriot and F-16s. This is why Medvedev again today doubled down in the Duma saying the US is now almost a combatant in Ukraine.2 points

Good, Act V Azata was pretty much just using the power of friendship to kick a fascist off your lawn and I'd have liked some more stuff to do. I want more diety reactions too, because Cayden Cailean is the best god and his worshippers need the power of the bender more often. I honestly can't think of anything I've learned on their forum. Yeah, now I remind that I've harmonized BPM Blood Surge with what CP did to its paladin equivalent : boosted on-kill proc to 50% but does not work on allies Mmmm could have tweaked it differently. Barbs killing his own allies could have remained an option (that sort of make sense lore-wise compared to paladin)1 point
-
Yeah I'm testing a SC Paladin build with Slayer Seeker Survivor standalone. And I'm not completely sure of Chain Healing use either. Also I'm a bit concerned that SC Paladin is SO reliant on Divine Retribution and summons. Divine Retribution could eat a nerf (something like 1 zeal per downed ally would still be good, especially with BPM general nerf of Zeal cost). Of course it would require other buff, the general idea is that you shouldn't have to design your party around SC Paladin, or at least not on a single ability. I have some absolutely not finalized ideas such as extendid the benefit from self-rez (sacred sacrifice and providence - which already provides encounter long Courage) and/or making Sacred Immolation free but with a cooldown (how it would buff Multiclassed Pal could be an issue). I'll keep you informed as Paladin consultant1 point

Ha! i know how you feel. It is my common dilemma - going all the way to rescue poor Imoen only to say: “Sorry, my party is full”. I am sure Copper Inn must be at least somewhat more comfortable than Spellhold.1 point

Glad you enjoyed them Quick Switching weapons is there in order to bypass reloading phase. Once these options are out, there is only auto-attacking left. And Red Hand is comparatively effective at that, since it can fire twice before going into reload phase, due to Double Barrel 'native' enchant. A side note: if you take "Double-Tap" enchant and shoot vessels, in terms of focus-generation it actually becomes worse than a regular arquebus. Because it goes like this: - shoot (and deal dmg and get focus) -> shoot again (vessel is destroyed) (deal dmg to none, and thus no focus) -> reload The next CP update will include a fix for that, and it will go like that: - shoot (and deal dmg and get focus) -> shoot again (and deal dmg and get focus) (vessel is destroyed) -> reload It already comes with that property, granted via Double Barrel enchant. P.S. BPM nerfs Red Hand's reload time from 6.8s to 9s1 point

I don't remember exactly what took place (I was probably more focused on any dragon swooping down any moment and getting some payback for the ambush I set for it earlier). I'm just restarting the game. Need to level up my team then visit the place (it's close to Drezen after all) Edit: Ok, this time I chose the dangerous pass (I probably picked the easy pass previously) and got one of those text based multiple choice adventures. Arueshalae could beat the mobility checks easily and Gorth could pass the athletics checks easily. Now I'm at the tower again the the mission log has updated... Edit2: This time the dragon was there. A pushover just like the previous times (because you have all the time in the world to pre-buff). It was chatting with an old man (the Story Teller which I seem to remember from one of the previous two acts) I was just about to start cringing and preparing indignant outburst of protests when the dragon flew off again to the upper landing, thinking it was going to lead me on a merry goose chase all over the map, but it just flew up the stairs. Finished it off for good and deciding whether or not to pay the money for a not so interesting dwarf party member was a hard decision. In the end I went with the minimum amount for having him stick around.1 point

It's still a niche thing and generally speaking worse that dual wielding. But with the right weapon it can make sense. Did a whole solo playthrough with an Assassin/Bleak Walker with a single-handed Lover's Embrace. Against a bit better foes like Rathun Fanatics or so the morning star feels better because crits become less likely and the DoT really helps - at least with my Monk/Berserker test char. But I guess if you pump ACC and debuffs high enough it would be great again even against tougher foes. Thinking about a huana style Monk/Ranger with (hidden) Cap of the Laughingstock or Thaos' Headdress and stuff and using Enduring Dance, Hunter's Claw, Makred Prey, Stalker's Link and Accurate Wounding Shot. Red Flag Flying also triggers Predator's Sense, another nice synergy. SC Monk with WotW and Razor's Edge + Ajamuut's Stalking Cloak may be cool, too?1 point

Why this New York lawsuit is really going to anger Donald Trump the one understated advantage letitia james has in suing trump org is trump's ego. am thinking it will come as a shock to nobody that trump inflated the value o' his assets in attempting to secure loans from financial institutions. the thing is, there ain't no fraud unless those lenders relied on trump false statements. for there to be fraud, there needs be somebody who were in fact duped. to that end, trump's best defense is to show that his propensity for untruth were so well known that no lender took his financial disclosures serious. am not doubting trump has masses o' documents showing lenders refusing to give him money clarifying that the reason for refusal to lend money were that banks did their own due diligence and in spite o' trump claims o' wealth, trump org represented far too great a risk. show a big stack o' such letters as proof that nobody with any sense believed trump is a valid defense. heck, is not a secret that trump to this day is persona no grata insofar as wall street is concerned and in the 90s nobody other than deutsche bank would lend to trump, and deutsche bank were unlikely caught unawares, but knowing the risk involved, they lent increasing amounts to trump. so who were the suckers duped by trump? regardless am suspecting trump's best defense is to reveal what a transparently terrible lending prospect were trump org and that nobody in the industry would be fooled by his fabulist tendencies and outright lies regarding the worth o' trump property. have trump lawyers public admit just how little he were worth and that only the willful obtuse would be believing trump's financial statements? is hard to imagine trump being okie dokie with such a strategy. as to tax fraud... well that is a different issue and a different case altogether. edit: pretty much eviscerates judge cannon. no property interest by trump. no harm in being deprived of documents he never owned. trump didn't make any claim the documents were classified and in any event, they are classified presumptive for a pre indictment situation as in the present context. the current executive has broad discretion to decide and investigate matters o' national security, so deprive the fed o' a chance to do investigations o' the documents absent any proffer o' evidence such were seized improper is an improper exercise o' judicial power and beyond the scope o' a special master. etc. trump and judge cannon just had their lunch money took... again. first judge dearie and now a unanimous 11th circuit court of appeals. has been a bad week for trump, and is only wednesday. HA! Good Fun! ps the 11th circuit stay is not particular meaningful in the grand scope o' a possible case by the US v. trump, a case which don't exist as yet 'cause has been no indictment. 11th circuit efforts has no impact on the merits o' a case not yet brought by the doj. this whole judicial exercise insofar as the special master has been an inexplicable waste o' time and the fact the 11th circuit needed to weigh in woulda' been incomprehensible to us save for the fact it actual happened... so shame on Gromnir. but again, our point o' adding the ps is that insofar as trump possible being indicted and going to prison for obstruction or illegal possession o' state secrets, this ruling is correct but relative meaningless in that all it achieves is a metaphorical trout slap to the face o' judge cannon and team trump. it also presumptive ends unnecessary delay. converse, insofar as the impact o' the feds being able to investigate the damage trump did to security assets as 'posed to sitting on their hands, this could be a big deal... is just not meaningful from a potential US v. trump scenario.1 point

But the sanctions are working. It is not something, which starts to work over night. Their banking sector has started to collapse. And their own blackmail by gas shortages has backfired tremendously. This will be colder winter, than usual for EU, but they have lost 70% of their exports, and all the revenue connected to it.1 point

I'm considering going dual blunderbusses (not necessarily mortars, although they are sweet vs crowds) for Confounding Blind into Gambit. Foe's deflection will be going down so fast that getting 2 crits on your 8 attack rolls should be easy. As Boeroer, you should probably pick both, but probably specialize into one. Max PER in any case, then it is a choice between max INT and DEX, granted you can go reasonably high for both.1 point
