No Bruce, I was being sarcastic, it is excellent and you should most definitely watch it. It rates a 110/100 on the globally respected "Do I want to drive Bruce absolutely bonkers via eldritch horror, why yes I do" rating scale. It's entirely possible I have hit the christmas sherry a bit early in a desperate attempt to expunge some recent bad memories.8 points

I'm not sure who has it worse - majestic with a truly despicably bad show...but one that he has utterly no reason to care about or be invested in, or Zoraptor with a show that he should love that he...decidedly does not.5 points

WoT Ep8 TLDR; hmm. You may substitute your username for Marion. Be warned, watch this episode unprepared and you may end up as the SS equivalent of that gif, I know I did. Rating: 0/0. Because it's impossible to define how bad it was.3 points

Time for the weekly Discovery post. This episode is, for some reason, 15 minutes shorter than the others. Halleluja, thanks for an early Christmas gift there, CBS. Helfpul reminder: Burnham crying counter is currently 1:4. I'm thinking about dropping it, because where's the fun in keeping track of a meme that no longer happens. Burnham crying counter unchanged.3 points

This is what I wanted to do with my tv after watching TWOT ep 8:2 points

I don't think it's even that, I think it's the fact that this is his foot through the door for making TV/Movies for some of his own stuff. Plus he stated that the showrunner listened to most of the suggestions he had, so it would not look good to badmouth the show after that. Also let's not exclude the option that he really does like the show.2 points

With Brandon Sanderson you have to read between the lines. He's only ever gone after one person and that was due to the individual's mistreatment of fans. He's really unhappy with this adaptation but is too nice to say it.2 points

I think the prime reason why I didn't put priest and wiz higher is how their specific tricks are reliant on specific spell level. So often you'll end up saving slots, or having to choose between Miasma and Mirror Images, etc... Druid less so, since their 2 main uses (DoT and HoT) have better redundancy between tiers. This problem is fixed by Bloodmage though. Note that the gaps between tiers is thin (exception with the 3 "bad SC), that's why not taking Subclasses into account is valid : I'm only trying to make a synthesis, you have "great" builds for each class. Engagement slots can be found elsewhere : barbarian shout, modals, items (Kapana Taga). Fighters have undoubtly the most convenient. But you can build almost as good tanks with added utility with other classes. That said, fighters have their own tricks : Tactician, Devoted PEN, quickswitches, access to a multi-hit weapon attack as MC... Though not as class defining, they enable perfectly strong builds. "Solid" tier simply means you have to think a little more to make these classes optimal. Nice ! By the way, sorry if I don't answer all your points (I don't have that much time)2 points

Trump to Candace Owens: “People aren’t dying when they take the vaccine” it is 'course misleading to claim trump came up with the vaccines. the tech involved were original made possible by darpa and jasons initiatives and monies attempting to come up with a way to speed up time frames for successful vaccine creation specific as a means o' protecting US soldiers. the thing is, the tech existed pre trump and any number o' nations and private companies were moving to develop vaccines as soon as china finally released the genetic map for covid-19, which they admitted sat on longer than humane reasonable. that said, while the trump admin did undermine covid related social distancing and testing efforts, and were active promoting herd immunity in spite o' experts pointing out how such an approach were consigning many to unnecessary death, the admin did not impede the vaccine efforts which were already underway and the executive branch did indeed provide the funding required to realize the US vaccine development efforts. nevertheless, while am disappointed it has taken so long, we need applaud trump for correcting a frequent repeated bit o' nonsense uttered all too frequent by his base. good on trump for stating w/o equivocation that the vaccines work and save lives. whole lotta qualifiers in our grudging compliment o' trump? yeah. woulda' been better to make the admission in january and february o' 2021 as 'posed to december, but am nevertheless genuine grateful for an early christmas gift from 45. HA! Good Fun!2 points

A warlock could do this, simply by casting Deleterious Alacrity of Motion, since swift makes you immune to engagement.1 point

Okay, with that context, NOW this clip is funny, . And to think, I had no interest in it because I thought the entire look of the show seemed like a bunch of cosplayers got together and didn't have a budget to make the show look nice - seems like I lucked out given that they've aborted the entire plot in addition to ruining all of my favorite characters...1 point

Just finished the second arc in Megadimension Neptunia VII and started the third one. Unlocked only two trophies, and a lot of them needs to be grinded for. So far, I am having as much fun as I can in between the Platinum Grinding. It is much less tiresome than the crazy Fairy Fencer F, so I am keeping up with the story1 point

I have nothing to do today so that sounds cool for a while. Probably one of those greener on the other side things.1 point

Probably majestic, because Zoraptor is going to call it quits. If he's working on the show he is probably happy that he's getting paid.1 point

Slim pickings for me in the current Steam sale. Picked up Disco Elysium (55% off) and Patron, and DLCs for Solasta and Surviving Mars (no, not the horrible recent release). Most of the games on my Steam wishlist are still in EA, so can't get them. And the games I am truly looking forward to, like Avowed, Starfield, DA4, and inXile's new IP RPG, are a long ways off.1 point

Well I broke down and bought the Skyrim special edition, currently on sale. I had the original but from what I could see many of the mods no longer work, so I'm getting this for its mod-ability. Hopefully it's not a waste of money as the original still runs fine.1 point

I want to take my horse to the old town road and ride til I can't no more. Can't do that with a wolf or a dog or it ruins the song. And what if I wanted to name the pet "Hol"? If it's a horse I'm reminded of a hilarious character in my favorite anime, but that doesn't make sense if it's a dog. Unfortunately you are right mechanically, horses are the worst companion in WotR (aside from the centipede or lizard, because poison sucks) that gets blown out as a mount or pet by the numbers and the abilities. I mentioned that I'd cheat before, but if you beef up the stats in ToyBox by 8 or so horse just breaks even with the wolf by the numbers, while still losing out on the trip bite for a measly +1 bonus to hit and ac vs medium or smaller enemies. I wish multiple archetype stacking were implemented like pnp, because a Gendarme/Beast Rider would be great.1 point

If you cast on yourself or on other party member Borrowed instincts (while confused), you can suspend the hostile part of the spell , and this one determine the duration of the beneficial part. Once suspended, you are not confuse anymore, and dont suffering from the -8 penalty in intellect and resolve, only get the +20acc and +20 defenses ; and because the suspending effect can be extended by SoT or WoD if a wizard, you can turn it into a regular buff. That can be very useful against an high will target or high resolve one, in boss fight. It is also amazing as a cipher-wizard imo. I suppose it should work with every other "drain" spells, excepted for the Kaihôa Lost in Time. About cipher's spell, Driving Echoes is not restricted to combat and can be extended after the fight! I didnt know that before today.1 point

Here is one of the most powerful parties you can build - works very well on AI and each character is a real powerhouse on its own. Berseker/Devoted with Lord Darryn's Voulge - melee AoE dps Priest/Bellower - Support/damage dealer Helwalker/Ghost Heart with Frostseeker - ranged single/AoE dps Soulblade/Trickster with Sun and Moon & Tuotilo's Palm/WotEP - melee single/AoE dps Paladin/Bloodmage - tank/damage dealer If you have the Community Patch then you can play instead: Ascendant/Arcane Archer with Frostseeker - ranged AoE/CC Forbidden Fist/Trickster - melee single dps1 point

funnily enough, i've been doing this trick for a long time, mostly for ambushes. i say funny, because i just replied in that other thread never knowing/thinking to equip items without soulbinding them, so it just goes to show you what you think is well-known might not actually be. in ambushes you can do it if you have auto-pause: enemy spotted, just stealth as soon as the game pauses. it doesn't always work because sometimes i feel like the game forcefully unstealths you (esp coming out of dialogue), and other times the enemies are so close they break stealth very quickly, but when it does work you can get off a few buffs or improve your positioning before you get revealed. (and very occasionally positioning works out that you can scurry away and set yourself up with buffs or start doing cheesy stuff) i actually think it's slightly more of a hassle. sometimes you get frame skips, sometimes your timing is a little off (at least for me and my terrible gamer reflexs) and it doesn't work out. might be fine for a typical run where you can reload, but if you're doing ironman mode or the ultimate i would stay safe and use traps (which is what i did).1 point

I really like Zeus' design in this game: I was 3 levels lower than Zeus when I fought him and I beat him first try. Hard difficulty my ass! Seriously, though, I almost feel guilty for using Cleopatra and Mother Harlot, they are so ludicrously strong. Speaking of which: Mother Harlot best girl.1 point
