  3. Those of us that bought The Outer Worlds from Epic games are getting Epically screwed out of getting this DLC. So what's up with that ? When will this issue be addressed?

  4. I am sorry this is happening. We are currently looking into this issue and I hope to have some news for you soon. As soon as I find out more I will share it here.

  6. Hopefully. They claim it's a return to the old episodic with overarching plots and optimism type Trek but since it still has mostly the same writers my expectations are low.

  9. Ditto. 80% of my game files, auto or manual, are 'pinked' out. My first manual save file, oddly, is not and loads ok. Playing on PC.

  11. I have 30 hours in now. I've lost my first game and I'm into my second now. On the whole, it is a great game. I spent 60-70 hours in Imperator Rome so I was able to slip right into this pretty easy. But if you are not familiar with Paradox games like EU, Stellaris, and CK2 there is a TON of details and a steep learning curve to climb. The tutorial does a good job of teaching the basics. It's 20 minutes well spent. So here is my tips based on what I've seen: Remember above all else you are playing a King/Queen, NOT a Kingdom. You have to roleplay the part. That might not sound like a distinction but you will find it is. The objective is the survival of your House first. Conquering and the 4X's are a means to an end rather than the end itself. NPC ARE the game. Interact with them as much as you can. Intrigue is a big part of the game. Hooks and plots are very useful Knights: you NEED them. They make the difference between battles won and lost. Pay attention you who your counselors are. When they screw up it hurts. Also I don't know what the hardest start is but Alto Aragorn in in the running. You only weaker neighbor is an ally AND your cousin. The Islamic counties are all stronger than you and will go to war with you really quickly. I know several of you guys are playing. What are your thought?

  12. I have searched every place available on line for information about an advertised Season Pass in the US. I cannot fine anyone advertising this as available except in the UK. Why is it not available for the US? Why mention it if we cannot buy it? I am more than a little annoyed. : (

  13. Looks like Russian intelligence services may have miscalculated a bit... Angela Merkel has something Boris Johnson doesn't have... clout. And Euros of course. Sweet, sweet Euros Which means leverage, that the British government wished it had last time someone got poisoned by Novishock (sp?) It was one short sentence in a German Sunday newspaper. But for the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline, it was potentially as damaging as an earthquake. "I hope the Russians don't force us to change our position on Nord Stream 2," German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas said, as the row with Moscow intensified over the poisoning of Kremlin critic Alexei Navalny." https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-54070046

  14. I'm loving it so far. I tend to pick an independent count and turtle a bit while dynasty building. Something about the lower stakes appeals to me.

  16. ...Look dude you cant get shot to death over the phone and it will really let them know what kind of situation they're walking into if they get a complaint. I get you're being funny and facetious but if it will keep you safe, it's just less than a 10 minute call and it will save you a lot of trouble. Just stay safe.

  18. Considering size of many AAA (or even some not AAA) titles, and how they're likely to only get bigger over the next few/several years, only 500GB is a bit disappointing. Although I understand it for price point reasons. Is the Series X going to have 1TB? Or maybe later updated versions of either/both for more $. PS5 better have a 1TB version somewhere....

  21. You need to dehydrate in hurry or something? Seriously, though make sure that you get enough water. Coke has caffeine (which is a diuretic )and salt to make you thirsty. Take it from someone that naively thought that it was as good as water and developed a kidney stone.

  22. Huh. I watched a bit of that video and tried to remember my Alpha Protocol playthroughs and I can't for the life of me recall having that many bugs or weird things happening in combat. So what's that I hear on the wind? Yeah. Don't play master race games on consoles you peasants.

  24. you only have to hit them once to get credit for the kill, stick em with an arrow wait till they get close then run from the explosion. They seem to be affected by the spawning issues. my game has them, online games i see don't.

  25. Yesterday evening I've finished my second playthrough on New Game+ in Dark Souls II on my PS3. This time, because I knew most of the traps and also the bossfights, it took me only 292 deaths . The biggest issue to finishing the game was to my surprise Aldia, Scholar of the First Sin. The randomness of the fight, me being tired and triggerhappy meant, I needed for him 13 attempts. Not even Ancient Dragon made me so much troubles this time . More of my bossfight will be posted as soon as I upload them on YT All I am missing now are two trophies for Pyromancies and for Miracles. I think, to finish these trophies, I will go this time for very fast run into Drangleic Castle, where these spells are sold. Next game in line? Hmm I really do not know yet

  27. Incoming. GMG did a last day of pre-order 30% discount instead of the 20% other sites were doing so convinced me. Played the first two missions last night (the game unlocked 1AM GMT so 3AM MST (Melkathi Summer Time)).

  29. I realize there arent many Bioware fans on this forum but I have good news around there gaming future and how to really enjoy there games if current design is not to your liking After becoming aware that Bioware is still going and there will be another DA I bought Mass Effect Andromeda ( MEA )Deluxe on Steam, on a huge discount, in celebration and financial support for Bioware as I never played the game and read very bad reviews which put me off buying it at the time of its release I am a huge user and supporter of the Nexus Vortex Mod Manager and I Mod every game I can where reasonable, for example I never used Mods on RDR2. But the good news about Nexus is that there are many Mods designed for MEA to make the game better and address valid issues raised on its release. You have to use the Frosty Mod Manager, not Vortex, but its really simple to use. I am busy with it now So in summary, dont give up on any Bioware yet. Wait about 4-6 months after release of any game and then you will be able to install many Mods to address certain game design issues you may have. Of course you may not feel the need to Mod any particular game but obviously this post applies to those who sometimes want to change there gaming experience

  30. At night I've seen an increase in wolf spider activity: wandering and hunting. That's really the only thing I've noticed as far as insect activity goes. Maybe the differences between day and night will increase as the game matures.

  31. Merged a large number of very similar topics on the recent issue with not loading saved games without crashing. Hoping the devs will chime in at some point.

  32. Alpha Protocol is the reason why I stopped reading any game reviews. Funny how the game was completely trashed by the american media, while the european media praised it. Sure it had its flaws and lots of issues, but it was still a fun game. Played through it 7+ times back in the release days, because you could do so many things differently and the ending completely changes. /Edit: And it made me furious when one year later, the same people who excessively trashed the game, suddenly came around and posted articles like "hey.. actually this game isn't so bad after all" ... F* these people, really.

  33. The Boys is just more of the same for me, so it kind of lost its shock factor, still ok. Still on the fence on Raised by Wolves, will need to see more before I see where I stand with this show.

  35. I started rewatching Netflix's the Witcher, because why not. I'm noticing lots of tiny details now everywhere, which is pretty cool. But I also realize once again that if I wouldn't have read the books plenty times, it would have been impossible to follow all the timeline jumps. There is so much jumping around, but visually everything looks the same... Sometimes they drop names and stuff to give you a hook for where you are in time, but if you are unfamiliar with the story, it'll mean nothing or you will likely just miss it completely. Also, again, the show feels too fast at times. It's like ... you can't miss a beat and have to run through everything. Meh.
