  1. I know a few POE1 backers who didn't want to use Fig and after the game released they were all "I'll wait until the game is finished (aka all the DLCs and patching is done)". As of this moment, they still haven't bought the game, they probably forgot about it. I also know people who didn't like POE1 because they wanted a reskin of BG2 and/or the dour setting and just skipped POE2. They are still complaining that nobody makes "isometric party rpgs" anymore might I add.

  2. This would be a neat feature considering it can be tedious to pickup multiple arrows and hard when engaged in combat

  3. "It must be nice to have an automatic kinship and brotherhood with other forum members" L0L I'm 90% French Frog. I'm not a big fan of those cowards, and racists, and bigots. Grom is a lawyer. I have no kinship with that ilk. Plus, Grom is right. Native tribes spent centuries mass murdering each other. They have as much kinship as the Brits and French do despite both white - they have spent centuries trying to massacre and destroy the other. There are plenty of whites who are complete trash to me. I don't care about their skin colour. Looking at you, Nazis.

  4. So you are against integration in an integration software? Ok then. And I'm Polish not that word, I ask you to not use it as it's offensive.

  5. FWIW, my understanding is that Tyranny met sales expectation but didn't do better because Paradox completely dropped the ball on marketing. https://www.pcgamesn.com/tyranny/tyranny-sales-paradox-obsidian (thanks to whichever smart person it was who originally linked me to this article)

  6. Then don't integrate your GOG? On a side note official integration seems to be slightly weaker then community one. It doesn't seem to record when I played the game last. I for one find it super useful to manage a library spread around on 6 launchers through one. For that very reason GOG became my main platform through which I manage everything else. It's very much in GOG's brand. "Hey, everyone annoys players by forcing them to juggle games on various platforms? Come to GOG and see all your games in one place. And while you are here, buy our games"

  13. Holy crap! That's stupidly good. I suppose that's why the duration is so short. Thanks for letting me know. Update: I started playing around with the Ravager with other gear setups. It's limited by what I have on hand, of course. I wound up using the Fair Favor hat for 10% hit to crit and +10% crit damage, Necklace of the Harvest Moon for a small recovery speed buff on crit, Devil of Caroc Breastplate, Hylea's Talons, Voidward ring, and Belt of Magran's Chosen. For weapons, I don't have any of the stronger sabres yet, so I took the unlocked Modwyr and the Squid's Grasp rapier.

  15. the reason it was not named PoE3 is the same reason the Witcher 3's logo and marketing were changed to make the 3 less prominent or even ditched it completely. the wider audience was barely (if at all) aware that the game was the 3rd in a series with the first 2 being more niche so the presence of a 3 could turn them away as many would not be too keen on playing 2 older games just to catch up on the story, even if the game was designed to be standalone. the fans still knew it was the 3rd game and were hyped and the casuals were blissfully ignorant. while this is not PoE3 (most probably) the lo

  19. You see, I don’t buy it. Sequels tend to sell better, not worse. The idea that games sells worse because it has a number attached to it, just doesn’t hold water. PoE2 problem wasn’t that it scared of new audience - its that majority of existing audience didn’t want more PoE. And it wasn’t just IP. Tyranny didn’t do so hot either. PoE2 wouldn’t sell better if it had a different title.

  20. Bases are constantly evolving and having to move items from one storage chest to another is tedious at best. Especially without a transfer stack option. The capability to move an entire storage chest without having to remove everything, destroy it, and then build a new one would be awesome.

  21. I have a feeling they will include more to the story. I found a locked lab in the "haze" which has yet to be unlocked, so it's likely they will be adding more... story shouldn't limit character progression though, as surving 30 days should at the least provide some sort of perks. Even a simple EXP system could help, but the game in it's current state, even with more storylines, would benefit from this idea.

  28. Unfortunately, I do not have any DLCs on my PS3. But I have my PS4 SotFS version as well. So sooner or later, I will play them too. The reason, why I have so much issues with Pursuer, Vendrick and Royal Rat Authority was simple. They are just to fast for my old bones The design of Pursuer is IMO very good, it's just that he is so damn fast for me Last Giant and Flexile Sentry are of course runners-up of the easiest boss trophy, but the Rotten for me was kind of pain as well, due to the lava pools in the arena. Which is again more like issue with my skills, than the boss design And Ve

  29. First of the final bossfight sequence uploaded on YT . The Throne Watcher and Throne Defender To my surprise, despite the encounter being double bossfight, the fight was easy and straightforward, with one big surprise in middle of the fight One was weak to Sorcery, the other was weak to Hexes. All in all, with little bit running around and blocking and dodging to my shock, I was victorious on my first try

  30. Yesterday evening after 960 deaths, I was finally able to defeat Aldia, Scholar of the First Sin in Dark Souls II on my PS3, and I've finished the game for the first time ever. Most of the bosses, with the exception of Ancient Dragon were for my Sorcerer pretty easy to learn, but on some of them, my old bones were to slow to react, so I had to spent longer time wiping the floor there . Then there were areas like Shrine of Amana and Dragon shrine, where the enemy placement was so ridiculous, that it raised my death counter to sky high levels . Shrine of Amana has become for me officially th

  32. And bossfight number 29 in Dark Souls 2. Optional Boss King Vendrick. The biggest complication on this fight were my sore thumbs from all the wiping at Ancient Dragon The thumbsticks sometimes slipped me away from under my thumb tips, which were little bit painful sometimes It took me a lot of tries to find out his weakness. After that, I’ve needed around 15 attempts to execute it properly All in all, it took me 59 attempts He was just to fast for my old reflexes

  34. And another DS2 boss down. Darklurker. Not so difficult, not so easy for an old guy The biggest issue was again the area to get to him, only 4 enemies, but I pulled by mistake more than one of them, it was immediate death. The second annoying thing was the requirement of 1 human effigy for each entrance to the area. I spent more than 20 until I've finished the fight. This time, I've defeated the boss on 9th try, but his mirror image was able to cast one more spell outside of my FoV, while the first was already down... I got Victory Achieved, I was yelling happy hell yeah, and right in

  35. More Dark Souls 2 played with some small breaks. I am getting slowly to the endgame, so I am just picking up some loose ends. After ridiculous buttkicking in Dragon Shrine on the staircase to the Dragon lying there, I got some key item from him. IIRC Ashen Mist Heart. Some time ago, after visiting the Freja's room again I have found out some strange thingie, which I was unable to activate before, so I have tried to go there with the Heart and to my surprise I got in som kind of old dragon memory. After a while I've picked one thing there and went to open the doors locked by King's Ring in

  37. My Herald is usually something like ShieldBearer/Troubadour with 18 might/intelligence and 12 resolve. 18 might is necessary for Ancient memory to heal over 1hp per tick when you first get it, and 18 intelligence allows you to overlap your chants for when you get mercy and kindness, plus high intelligence helps it hit more party members. After that I'll either wear items that further boost might and healing, or that reduce recovery. A low recovery is nice so that your lay on hands is responsive while letting your character cast and/or attack normally. The one Herald is the only cus

  38. If you want to support your party with a decent burning lash you'll need Flames of Devotion and then its upgrade Shared Flames - plus Mith Fyr (chant). With high INT Shared Flames' duration is quite good so you won't use too much Zeal on it. I'd also use Zealous Focus then. If you want to go the healing route mostly you don't need it - but Exalted Endurance.
