Brilliant. So deleting the galaxy is how they are going about fixing performance problems? In the next DLC: endgame event uninstalls Stellaris with some blurb about the metaphysical end of existence itself or something.8 points

I gotta admit, this is the bit I don't understand from the Democrats; failure to act by the Republicans could have been used against them without penalty from the Dems it'd seem to me(something like 'the Republican party says it rejects they type of conspiracy theories that led to January 6 at the Capitol, but when a conspiracy theorist in their party was elected to Congress, they rallied around her! We urged them to act, but they chose to do nothing" etc, etc), but by removing Taylor-Green from her committees, they've handed the Republicans the narrative that the Dems want to disenfranchise voters on a platter ("we may all agree that MTG was out there, but how soon before the Dems declare your views and values as unworthy of their government halls...?") Maybe its just me?3 points

If you only want to spam cipher spells I would multiclass with Helwalker. The +10 MIG (dmg), +10 INT (duration, AoE size), +2 PEN and +5 MIG (dmg) from Thunderous Blows and +12 ACC with Enduring Dance are great. Also a great combo for non-Psions because Helwalkers have an easier time generating more focus - for example with Hand Mortar/Fire in the Hole on groups of enemies (mortars' AoE also increases with INT etc.).2 points

I'm starting to work on bending the tubing. I ruined the first piece I tried, after that I got better at it. Ugly bends but perfectly functional. There are a couple tight bends I'll need to do, those will be tough. Good thing I have significantly more tubing than what I need.2 points

not that anybody asked our opinion, but am against punishing marjorie taylor greene by a house vote. mtg is a nut and a dangerous nut at that. am not gonna run down the list o' all the lies she has told... too many. mtg should not be a member o' Congress, but she ain't the first dangerous loon we has had as a member o' the house o' representatives or senate, and she won't be the last. so assume mtg is kicked off o' Congressional committees (or worse) by democrat votes and ask selves what happens when republicans win back the house. under harry reid and obama, democrats removed filibuster rules for Presidential appointments save for SCOTUS. sure enough, when the republicans got control o' senate and had a republican President, they went crazy with appointments, many o' whom were demonstrably unqualified. didn't stop there neither as the SCOTUS filibuster rules were changed. the reason you got acb on the Court is 'cause democrats refused to consider the consequences o' changes to filibuster. predictable. were all so predictable. similar predictable is republicans looking for payback if mgt is punished. mtg deserves punishment. republicans shoulda' done so. however, what is arguable a reasonable and justified action by Congress to punish a member for behavior unbecoming a member o' the House needs be viewed from a perspective two, four or six years in the future. consider that ilhan omar and rashida tlaib has made comments which were at best ill-advised and arguable bigoted. tell us mtg comments ain't same as squad member nuttery and you are preaching to the choir, but when the opposition party gets control, they ain't gonna be concerned with fairness. btw, am not suggesting members o' Congress should be free to say and do anything w/o any possibility o' punishment by the house or senate. however, am not gonna chase anybody down the proverbial rabbit hole. Congress has had too many foolish, unhinged and even dangerous members. the thing is, the behaviour being punished need be so egregious that we ain't having this discussion. mtg deserves punishment, but if you doubt for even an instant the inevitable day o' reckoning once republicans take back the house, you are being as obtuse as all those qanon dopes. convince us mtg should be given the option o' "crossing the desert" the entire distance 'tween the capitol and wh if she wanna keep her office and committee seats? you win. we agree. unfortunate, in a few short years, is gonna be republicans with the paddles and are you telling us you are comfortable with relying on their restraint and wisdom? HA! Good Fun!2 points

I was on the verge of making this post another essay, but then I deleted most of it, the wrote another essay, then deleted most of it. I'm probably preaching to the choir here, but it's been a long time since I got my grubby hands on someone who just started watching Sailor Moon. Feels like old times. Thanks.1 point

Just a Suggestion me and my friend love this game, I use the bow and arrows while he's up close with melee and shield. The issue is the arrow system. What if you can craft a quiver that takes an armor slot for throwables or something? Have it start out at 50 or 100 instead of 20, can be upgradeable to hold more. This would be a cool feature and very useful, as I'm always low on inventory space due to holding so many arrows. I also would like to see if there was an auto arrow retrieval system, where you walk over it and it picks them up. Having to pick every single one up by its self is annoying and tedious and sometimes i cant even pick them up because if something or someone walks over it some times they go flying, or get stuck under the map. What if after after shooting them the ones that are stuck in the enemy can be collected into a group to where you can pick up most of them with one click. Overall this game is awesome and I cant wait for what's to come next. Great job and thank you for giving me something new and fun to play that's NOT a Battle Royale!!!!1 point

The quiver would be cool and to add to it saving inventory space by holding arrows it could be equipped to the offhand slot on the equipment slots.1 point

Yeah I know it isn't communism (I lived next to great communist state USSR for long time before it collapsed, so I have pretty good knowledge how our system differs from theirs), even though that is what people always yell in internet discussion when welfare system are brought up as solution to societal issue. And I know that government pointing jobs for everybody will most likely lead much worse situation than just paying social security, like kolkhozy in USSR work as warning example that still causes economical issues in Russia and Ukraine.1 point

Funny you should say that - I was very interested because it is a world of darkness game, but I was turned off by the trailer.1 point

I really vibe with the idea of a quiver to keep arrows from taking up inventory space! Id say having the first version hold 1-2 stacks of a single type then making the upgradable version allow you to hold multiple arrow types and more stacks.1 point

I sometimes wonder what world you live in Bruce... the same world that expect Russia to hand over a large chunk of of its citizen to what is now a foreign country because someone in other foreign countries says so? It's not exactly that those same foreign countries respect any democratic processes when the outcome is undesirable. Oh yes, the same foreign countries that were happy to carve up another country (Serbia) when it fit their geopolitical narrative? The hypocrisy is strong in those foreign countries.1 point

With buffs from priest spells and the chanter's invocations you could engage in melee; the priest spell Champion's Boon is particularly effective for this. However, this build would be primarily a caster, so you'd want weapons that could boost casting, namely Sasha's Singing Scimitar (definitely) and also Sun and Moon or Griffin's Blade, and later Magran's Favor and the Weyc's Wand. Late game, you'd want to start with Sasha's Singing Scimitar and the Weyc's wand, empower Her Revenge, and then cast Salvation of Time to sustain the inspirations and the PL boost from the Wand. Then you would switch over Magran's Favor and Sun and Moon in your second weapon set, and start casting the priest's fire spells. As for attributes, you'd want high STR, DEX, PER and INT, and could have relatively low CON and RES. I'd probably go with 16/7/14/17/18/6, 18/9/16/19/20/8 with Berath's Blessings.1 point

I think they are recyclable. At least I’ve been putting mine in my recycle bag. I don’t have garbage pick up where I live so I take all my stuff to a public dump usually once a week. But they have one dumpster for plastic recyclables, one for paper, and one for regular trash. I’ve been putting them in with my plastic stuff1 point

I'm not a coffee guy, but I did buy a Keurig for my wife a number of years ago. I was pretty shocked at how expensive the k-cups were. It seemed like you ended up paying over .50 cents per cup, plus the cost of the machine that needs to be replaced every two years, and it creates more waste than your normal coffee maker. But I am biased since I don't like coffee.1 point

Since the new update I’ve had several issues with construction. Pieces won’t snap to logical location, instead snapping halfway up a wall or showing as red when there’s no discernible reason or obstruction. I’ve also had issues building underneath the floors laid out for a second story. I’m on an Xbox Series X and I’m sure this has been reported, but I wanted to add another voice to the choir hoping that will be addressed in a future patch or update. Thanks!1 point

Hey guys, This may have already been suggested but I would really love to see the option to build shelves. I see a lot of videos of people being creative with floating storage but it doesn’t seem to work anymore. shelves would be awesome to stack more storage in our homes1 point

This might have been mentioned already but my quick search turned up nothing. If like to see the ability to move placed items without recycling them. Like the water container, when empty it should be able to be moved after placed. Plank and stem pallets, jerky rack, smoothie stand, etc. All need a move option. Aggravating when I build an item and then days later want to move it closer to where my base is but lose materials from having to destroy and rebuild it. Not everything should be moveable, I don't want to drag my house around, just utility and food prep items.1 point

So sad. Until today it is impossible to move items or furniture. Why is that? And why there are no infos by the devs at all?1 point

Speaking of Necklace of Fireballs: In case you guys didn't know: if you have at least two Necklaces of Fireball you can unleash 8 Fireballs per encounter "for free". Just keep one charged necklace in the stash (NOT the character's inventory) and wear the other necklace. After a fight where you used charges of FIreballs just stack them in the stash, then reequip and *tadaa*: necklaces refilled to 8 charges. This works with all items that have per-rest uses or charged uses IF you can find at least two of them. Necklace of Fireballs, Missile Gloves and Stone of Power are the ones that most people find two or more of, at least if you use the Berath's Blessings vendor. You can also export a character with items such as Ring of Reset and then hire that guy with items in your actual playthrough to just take those items. That way you can turn all per-rest/charged items into per-encounter items.1 point

I don’t want to wear out my welcome here, and this may be the last thing I post to this thread. There are a lot of reasons this build is a great one to play solo, that Not So Clever Hound hasn’t mentioned. First off, the minute you hit Neketaka after launching your ship, you are level 5 or 6, and you have money from Berath’s Blessings, you can buy the two main items that make this build work: the Grimoire of Vaporous Wizardry and Rekvu’s Fractured Casque. (If you spent points on the Unique Merchant, “Well-Traveled Supplier,” you got some other items at 50% off in Port Maje; do get a Necklace of Fireballs, they help you through level 8 at least.) Second, even if some of the full build doesn’t come until late in the game (buffs from Outcast’s Respite, the Giftbearer’s Cloth from Fampyr’s Crypt, etc), this build is plenty sturdy and the best part, it’s “‘very forgiving.’” Once you get to level 14 or so, which doesn’t take long in solo play, you can make some of the mistakes I made, and still mop the decks with your foes if they are not way above your level: (1) explore dungeons with a torch, and forget to change back to sword and shield when the fight starts (didn’t notice the difference); (2) go into battle with your thieving gear still on (Burglar’s Gloves, Boots of Stealth, Mirrorback Cape or the later one) and never know it until the fight is over; (3) buff your skills with a Luminous Adra Potion and forget to re-injure yourself, then board Oheiro to fight about 3 wizards, a couple of priests, some rogues and chanters and fighters, realize that you were interrupting yourself with the Vaporous grimoire, and you still annihilated about 18 tough Rauatai defenders (after your crew was knocked out in the first 20 seconds). Maybe like me you’ve played a solo monk with all the monk gear, a solo wizard with Sun & Moon and Ninagauth’s Teachings, and you’ve done all kinds of party play — give this one a try, and you won’t regret it.1 point
