We've released Fallout et tu v1.0 today. The Fallout 1 to Fallout 2 engine conversion is now (core-) feature complete. That means, every Fo1 feature that was missing in Fo2 (red dots on worldmap, "Tell me About"-button, and lots of under-the-hood stuff) has been re-implemented by us. The changelog since the last update 1 month ago has become gigantic. Personally I didn't expect we'd be fixing so many issues in such a short time. Most of these are either vanilla Fo1 bugs/issues, or stuff introduced by the Fixt mod. Anyways. If interested, follow this link: https://github.com/rotators/Fo1in2/releases/tag/v1.0.1700 or this link: https://nma-fallout.com/threads/fallout-et-tu-release-v1-0.218045/page-18#post-43608634 points

Journal entry day 12: A strange fiery orb has appeared in the sky and the local denizens are confused and excited. The temperature is predicted to reach ~50F and Ive heard whispers of a impromptu Super Bowl garage party breaking out around the corner. Strange times indeed.3 points

Coming across multiple issues with the ps4 version. Combat UI is horrible to the point of nearly making the game unplayable with overlapping windows for the action bar and combat text. Movement becomes broken when switching to a custom formation and I can no longer move through narrower areas if my character is moved to the back. Load times are insane! Nearly a minute and a half to load an area that's one room and a single npc making quests or tasks where you need to move in and out of multiple areas repeatedly a chore. I could understand the time if you're loading a larger map for the first time but not consistently. I'm really enjoying the game but some of these issues are sucking the fun right out of it and I'm just curious as to whether or not we'll see fixes for these soon? Thanks in advance for any information. Edit: Also now experiencing multiple crashes at random points, lagging and freezing during combat, PC's being dragged around an entire map to attack enemies and the Take all command not working after ship combat.2 points

I've always been a Blizzard fan, but the past year they've been really garbage. I kept off the hate train for a long time, because I've still enjoyed most of their games even if they weren't high watermarks. I enjoyed StarCraft 2 and Diablo 3 and Legion was the most fun I ever had with World of WarCraft. But... Between the disappointing product launches, unkept promises, layoffs, corporate political bootlicking and lackluster announcements... I'm pretty sure it's the first time I haven't pre-ordered a WoW expansion. WarCraft 3 is one of my favorite games of all time yet I didn't purchase its remaster. I don't have battlenet installed anymore, not because of any kind of conscious boycott but as a hardcore Blizzard shill even I've lost my taste for them and I haven't been enjoying their products either. This WoW expansion in particular has been boring. Overwatch has gotten steadily worse as they've added content and the "sequel" looks like a DLC the price of a full game. Then there's been reports of devs anonymously reaching out and opening up about budget cuts forced upon them by the almighty Bobby Kotick. Oh how the mighty have fallen. It makes me sad. Or maybe having a baby changed my perspective more than I realized. I don't have time for grindy nonsense like BFA and Shadowlands needs to prove it's not as pointless before I return. I have no need to lay down cash for a slight upgrade of a game I've played ad nauseum. But probably the Blizzard even turning off their most hardcore fans thing. /rant Also, people remastering games left and right yet no Dungeon Keeper or Black & White. Game industry, get on it dammit. Or at least get B&W on GOG or something.2 points

Time for more food porn! Or possibly some mild irritation. Pasulj/Grah is a great base to use leftovers and fairly easy to make: And... well, roasted blood sausage with potatoes and sauerkraut:2 points

is likely not the point o' the post, but with 351 pages o' documented social media silliness, Gromnir is not hiring the guy regardless o' contents. 351 pages? 351 pages is only the flagged material? is too likely this shnook is gonna be spending a portion o' his working day responding to social media as 'posed to getting work done. don't care what he thinks 'bout billionaires or pronouns or even the seeming endless stream o' new poodle hybrids people thinks is the keen new dog they gotta own 'stead of going to pound and adopting an animal facing euthanization. ... ok, the last one is Gromnir-centric, but fact remains that kinda voluminous social media footprint should be source of shame-face. and yes, we get this opinion is coming from a guy with 7800 posts on a game development message board at the armpit end o' the internet, but am retired. so there. HA! Good Fun!2 points

I' m not sure the proper location to post or report bugs. I never noticed this on the PC version of the game but on my xboxone - if I attempt to enchant an item the game crashes consistently. I've tried resetting my xbox (via the 10 second power) and it still crashes. I don't know if it's particular items or what it is. I've also noticed that the menus become unresponsive at times too in various cases, like ship combat too. It doesn't crash but I can't view details like seeing my cannons where on the pc I can mouse over stuff.1 point

Hello. Does Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire support keyboard and mouse on Xbox One X? Thanks.1 point

I'd have no problem with that. May be better for new console players to find a thread/list with post-last-patch builds.1 point

I did a couple others but I think I'll confine myself here and in the PC hardware threads mostly, every other thread gets me in trouble!1 point

Same thing. Its kinda frustrating. Hope this gets seen by someone in the company to get it fixed soon.1 point

The Science Weapon tinkering costs 200 bits when you are at a 100 Science skill only. That -90% tinkering cost skill unlock makes it 200 bits. At 80 Science skill, the Science Weapon tinkering cap is 1000 bits, since at that point there is no further tinkering discount bonus applied... This is how it should work.1 point

Maybe it would be better to just create new list with builds developed since final patch? Both PoE 1 and PoE 2 lists are outdated in some parts. I mean - these lists are still there for refference.1 point

I got the game on release, played for about 20 hours (just finished up sneaking into the fort to deal with the pirate who attacks you in the beginning) and when I turned on the game to play this morning I was met with the error message: "There was an error loading the next map. Returned to Main Menu to prevent save game corruption." and returned to the main menu. This happen on every single save file (3 autosaves and 5 hardsaves) for this character. I can start a new game and saves from that character will load still but none of my main file will load at all. I've seen this is an issue that has occurred on pc before, usually fixed by tweaking files that us console users simply don't have access to but couldn't find anything on the issue regarding the ps4. I'm assuming that my file is just lost, but I'd like to know why it happened and how to prevent it in the future if anyone knows, as well as bring it to the attention of the developers on the off chance that they aren't already aware it's a thing on ps4 and will actually fix it in some way. Kinda frustrating paying $60 for a game that's been out for years only to have to restart because of a game-breaking bug, especially when you don't know what caused it or if your new game's files will simply stop loading as well in due time, but that's what I get for thinking anyone is actually trustworthy enough to pre-order from I suppose.1 point

Heh, yeah, after much searching I found a tiny bag with a tiny screw, but no mounting fixture. I managed to get one from a friends old motherboard though, so I've finally installed it! Good thing to, because I couldn't find any loose ones to buy.. It was a huge headache to install it though, the screw wasn't magnetized and I couldn't for the life of me get it on the mounting point - I had to get a piece of scotch-tape to fix it to the end of the screwdriver before I could finally get it into place. Worth it though, damn it's fast!1 point

I find it bit funny how much more people bring up how Hunter Biden got high paying job in private company, without any other clear merit but, his father being vice president of US, considering current president's daughter and son of law work as high paying advisers in White House without any merit that show that they are qualified to work in such position.1 point

Me too, fix this game !!! It is not a serious work, 99% of the games i play crash one time per week or per month, and usually it is because i put the console in sleep mode with the game still launched, but Deadfire is crashing too much frequently for a finished product. (only this night it crashed 4 or 5 times in less than one hour - i speak of a PS4 blue screen) i am in Poko Hara (inside)... I am happy to have the game and will not ask for a refund (unless the the frustration of the crashes make the pleasure to play Deadfire disappear) but make it work please, you had plenty of time since POE to make a stable version of the game. Same issues as above. Also crash when taking Maia to Neketaka for Courier’s Calling quest. Had to remove her from the party to transition to the area I needed to go to avoid the guaranteed crash.1 point

It's really great. None of the posts shown are even written by the guy. The flagging was done by an algorithm that some IT firm got paid to develop. Good money was in all likelihood paid for the "report", which will inevitably end up in a dumpster, after some HR schmuck wonders what he's doing with his life while going through all 351 pages of it. This must be what they mean by "service economy". My phone doesn't have internet connection of its own and it's been years since I closed the last of my social media accounts, but I'm pretty sure no one in their right mind would hire me if they went through my posting history here. I'm not sure if that's a bad thing or not.1 point

When you're in front of The Pallid knight, press the square button & you can create a custom save there. You'll literally be checking the flags that an import would make, hope you can remember all of your choices & all of the characters...massive pain if you played the game multiple times, with multiple characters & many different choices1 point

Astrid, Pale Elf Rogue (Solo)- Entry 8: Thaos! Yuppers indeedy! It's time for the Thaos fight! The big show! But first: Let's talk about Astrid. Character Record Inventory Build Skills: Stealth: 10, Athletics: 3, Lore: 2, Mechanics: 6, Survival: 2 Abilities: Crippling Strike, Dirty Fighting, Finishing Blow, Reckless Assault, Blinding Strike Talents: One Handed Style, Shadowing Beyond, Deep Pockets, Weapon Focus: Knight, Unstoppable Boons: Hylea’s Boon, Gift from the Machine Does anyone have any questions? Our resting bonus? Great question! We took Accuracy Bonus v Vessel- attained by donning the Rugged Wilderness Cap before our nappy-poo. Any more questions? Ok then! Our plan, as you've likely surmised, is to knock people on their butts. More precisely, we want to knock the Headsman and the Judge on their butts- maybe even Thaos once or twice. We intend to do so with We Toki, leveraging our One Handed Style accuracy, our high Dex and our high Per. Our offensive potions, Deleterious Alacrity of Motion and War Paint will facility that, with speed and added accuracy. Our defensives are trash, but our enemies won't be hitting much because they'll be spending almost all of their time on their tuckuses. Or at least we hope so. How did it go? Great, actually! Just great! Now the question is: Am I being sarcastic or not? You'll just have to see. Here's Thaos. He's a jerk. We don't like him. But he's not that jerk we want to kill right now. We want to kill the big jerk, the guy with the hammer. Casting Shadowing Beyond will let us do that. Why? Because he'll chase. And Thaos won't. And without Thaos's spells, he's toast. Astrid runs west. She drinks a DAoM potion and gets to work. We Toki says, "Down boy!" And that's basically all it took. Astrid's axe is accurate. And with her Dex it's fast enough to hit again before her enemies can get up. DAoM and War Paint take it all over the top. The Judge got exactly one swing in. His animation is on it's feet here, but as you can see, he's prone, according to the engine. One down. Let's do it again, shall we? The Headsman faired a little better, landing two strikes and eliciting an endurance potion quaff. He didn't have much of a chance, though. I've done this two-handed with We Toki and Godansthunyr and at levels 9 or 10 One Handed does seem to work better. Just Thaos now. Our main concern is Cleansing Flame. In my experience, if you can get him to cast it on a summon, you'll never see it again. We give him some beetles. As soon as we put them down, we have one break north. That insures that that'll be at least one beetles under our control when it's time for Thaos to cast Cleansing Flame. Got him! The rest is easy. We shoot him in the face. Dump some rot on him when goes Shields for the Faithful. And when he gets to badly injured, unleash the Finishing Blows. It should go without saying that we were evading his spells, disengaging whenever he started to cast. And as you might imagine, we found time to quaff every now and then, too, to increase our efficiency. The only spells that hit us were Thaos's Dominations, which appear to be targeted directly on the foe, rather than having an AoE, like most spells. Those weren't very danger though: the durations were short and Thaos never really took advantage. Thaos is at near death. He's on his keist. This is looking good. And yes! Astrid has done it! She has become my first PoE solo no reloader. Hooray! That was fun! The question is what next? Should I give her a chance on PotD? Try a new class? Move her over to Deadfire? Share your thoughts. And feel free to share your comments as well. Thanks for following, everyone! Cheers, A.1 point

I'm just too worried, that if I ever slow down, age will catch up with me. I have to keep running! As mentioned somewhere above, got to spend the day at the games. A slightly one sided affair unfortunately, where are the marathon 5 sets when you finally get a chance to watch it??? Djokovic won, outcome wasn't really much in doubt after the first two sets. Still, it was great to try a new experience. Taken with my phone... edit: Those serves... sheesh. display at the far corner says 224 km/h1 point

It's nice that they added the option of choosing from a larger pool of games, but most of them still don't interest me. I'm likely going to cancel my subscription when it runs out. Also, sorry for the rare updates.0 points
