According to Global Rights Compliance human rights group, Putin has been planning to starve out Ukraine with stealing all of their agricultural enterprises and their products and cause another "Holodomor" (which they actually did as one of the first things in the south). They started the preparation for it long before they invaded Ukraine and it is possible this will start another case against Putin and Russia in ICJ... https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/europe/putin-grain-theft-ukraine-russia-latest-b2447644.html2 points

I completed KOTOR 1 after 45 hours, it was a much shorter game than I was hoping for but it was great fun. It gets a solid 70/100 on the globally followed " BruceVC game rating system" I enjoyed the SW lore and the game provided classic Bioware fun around how you can do quests in your own order and I appreciated the companion interaction. I ended up Romancing the hottie Bastila and I saved her from the dark side Most combat became easy from level 14 or so with some exceptions but the battles on the Star Forge were challenging and I only succeeded by using my Jedi Powers strategically. I had Canderous and Jolee in my party for the final stage And I had to adopt a " cowardy " approach for the final battle with Malak, I used my Jedi speed to run away from him and destroyed the Jedi healing pods. Then I used Throw Lightsaber to wound him from a distance and killed him in normal lightsaber combat when he was on his last health But Im enjoying the SW universe so I have decided to play KOTOR 2 next2 points

to start the endgame. There were 2 star puzzles that gave me a lot of trouble, a Pandora puzzle and a Sphinx puzzle. The Sphinx puzzle was the trickiest because the clue can easily be misconstrued and even once you're on the right path, the image isn't exactly correct.1 point

After doing some crafting, I was able to defeat 6-winged Gabriel Celeste. On 2nd attempt. During first attempt, I became to comfortable with a fight and I have, after 15 minutes of almost flawless figh, dropped a guard. I have forgotten to get my healers at the edge of arena, so when I was performing Rush attack, he casted his uber AoE, and wiped floor with my whole party1 point

1. i think that's just the number of assets available. so you can probably add stuff until your computer can't handle it no more, lol. 2. i think it's probably the same as the first answer. just add bugs until your game lags, lol. 3. i don't think we had a height limit on the main game, so i don't think you'd have one in playgrounds. you should be good to build what you want. some people's systems might handle it better than others, but that's their problem.1 point

From what I heard, it was not so prone to min maxing as AoD. But I have not played it yet. So can't confirm it from my own experience.1 point

That 20% was already owned by jews that had bought it with backing of rich Zionist jews around the world. Haifa has not had 90% Muslim population after Ottoman Empire collapsed. The 1922 census of Palestine, conducted by the British authorities, recorded Haifa as having a population of 9,377 Muslims, 8,863 Christians, 6,230 Jews, and 164 others. By the time of the 1931 census of Palestine, this had increased to 20,324 Muslims, 13,824 Christians, 15,923 Jews, and 332 others. In 1938, 52,000 Jews and 51,000 Muslims and Christians lived in Haifa1 point

That's why inventory limits in games are bad - they limit the use of the time honoured tactic of "just use everything you hoarded throughout the game". That's how I beat the original Baldur's Gate. Used all my summoning wands and scrolls to fill the room with so many magical creatures, Sarevok couldn't move anymore, then took him out with arrows.1 point

Finished Shadow Tactics: Blades of Shogun. It is a very well made tactical stealth game, though I did use a guide for the last level (and still have no idea how I was supposed to get Takuma into the wells). Started Shadow Tactics: Aiko's Choice. Tried to copy the configuration files from the main game, seemed to work. Created a character in Colony Ship. Somehow, the character creation seemed very different from Larian's D&D - much more stats and a reasonably long intro to provide the context and express opinions on the factions. On the negative side, there were significantly fewer non-stat customisation options. Kind of fits with the sci-fi setting where the spaceship's population are descendants of Christian fanatics. Curious if min-maxing is necessary, like it was in The Age of Decadence.1 point

True, but I still like the fact that you have a whole city to explore. Beware though! It's a Russian game so your money goes directly to Putin.1 point

The European Union has come to an agreement on digital identities. These DEFINITELY NOT in any way shape or form dystopian digital IDs will be available to member states in the near future. Worry not, these will employ the highest level of security and governments would never dare misuse your data without your consent. Why would you even suggest such a thing? Think of the convenience! Plus it's solving this giant list of important problems (I spoiler tagged the list to keep the post tidy ) : How long until these become mandatory? 20 years? 10 years? 5 years?1 point

Yes, but my first year professor at uni said "always ignore the brief", so I always ignore what people ask.1 point

That's strange. I went through the whole DLC, did every questline all the way through or almost all the way, and never had this issue with a low-level NPC who could not be kept from dying. You may want to check a guide. The Neoseeker and Fandom.com wiki guides are particularly good.1 point

At an hour, I did "background" it off and on, but overall and the concept, I thought it was pretty neat. Liked the scrolling animation - the music varied, some of it I liked, some I didn't. While it is limited and brief, I almost wish there had been no narration at all, just a visual/music thing. Must've taken a while to finish.1 point

wotr rangers is already coded to benefit from favored terrain. one assumes the geomancer will utilize already existing terrain designations 'cause doing so is a resource saving approach and particular for dlc, anything which saves resources is a win for developers. HA! Good Fun!1 point

I'd have thought Alan Wake 2 would have been bigger. I guess being stuck on Epic cut out the legs. I guess this is more fuel for the eternal PoE sales debates. I think more important to me than how Deadfire did is that Sawyer wants to do a hogwild PoE3. Microsoft, let him cook. This man will make a game where you need to have a PhD in math to understand half of it and an expert knowledge of the occult to understand the other half. It will be glorious.1 point

Hilarious. I hope it was a good bonus. It must have been frustrating and confusing to watch indifference upon PoE2 release. Please, please do PoE3. I am more than ready to spend years complaining about another RPG.1 point

Finally, last quest step and I could save-scum to get a Living Ship! So I did. Lots and lots of solar system spawns tried. They're largely egg-shaped with a fish/crustacean influence or something. Example of rejected ones: I asked around, and apparently there cannot be a "tiny" version. They're all sorta that size, not many possible "parts", but with some variation in front shape and appendages, maybe a few more unique colors, stuff like that. So I just picked the first one that didn't make me go "ugh." They have no large advantage, not my style, so not sure I'll keep it. Altho they do look kinda cool from side/behind if 3rd-person flying, but I never do that. Also I was wrong and there is a way to farm more but not worth the steps/cost/bother (unless one really really likes them, ofc).1 point

I am not finished with Solasta Lost Valley but I feel I should be relatively far along. I am progressing all factions at the same pace, though I guess I will be forced to choose who to side with eventually. There are far harder encounters than in the base game, I feel. Or it is a bit less linear and you run into encounters you aren't supposed to be able to beat at the time you can first find them. It isn't necessarily bad, but some encounters definitely could have used some tweaking. The campaign likes giving you NPC's to tag along until you complete their quest. So I beat one encounter by having double the party size, with a higher level wizard and barbarian than my own characters tagging along. The problem with NPCs in your party is that they gain no xp. But right at the start of the campaign you get the option to hire one of three NPCs to help you, and they never level up and you can't dismiss them. So I have a rogue with 10hp following me around - every combat I try to run her away so she doesn't die... If I were to restart, I would not take an NPC along.1 point

So maybe people only had fatigue of games like this and dropped in later. It's certainly possible that a game doesn't push that hard on release, but will keep selling steadily over time. Shame we can't see the statistics.1 point

Most alien interceptor ships have a variation of this kind of look/size: (their game appeal is they can true-hover, so good surface explorers) Meet Mini-Cylon: (needs a better name) Current three main ships. If I can get a small Living Ship I'll replace the larger interceptor. I try to stick to 5 total owned. Also: freighter npc's (they're largely deco) have thoughts. Which is kinda funny sometimes.1 point
