  1. That being said, out of the "harmonizing" part that I don't believe to be necessaery, I don't think Draconic Fury compare that much favorably with Minor Avatar from the same Tier. Draconic is an unique spell so should probably be a bit better. The Terrified part is less convenient than the Tier 3 Repulsive Visage and the lash part, albeit good because lashes are great, is not as good as the bunch of stats from minor avatar. Therefore, setting its cast/recovery to the same as Minor Avatar (4.5s/0s) is probably a good idea.

  2. gonna respond serious. if they were morons, then they had always been morons. they didn't become morons 'cause o' limbaugh and bannon. ... japanese internment in ww2 was a politically popular move by fdr. the patriot act were passed post 9/11. ww1 sedition acts? the great depression led to embrace o' calvin coolidge's nativism. scared and angry americans has been all too quick to abandon core values--we were always worried 'bout future wars, attacks and major economic upheavals as precipitating events which would lead to the willful diminution o' american democratic values and Constitutional rights. even so, while Gromnir were frequent pointing out how income disparity and the inevitable disappearance o' manufacturing jobs were leading to radicalization o' the morons identified in the vid, we were naïve or perhaps even moronic 'cause we also didn't see 2015/2016 as analogous to the aforementioned post civil war american crises. we were envisioning a future problem. the notion a not particular popular populist such as trump could lead american morons to willful undermine democracy in 2016 were something we warned against as soon as 45 announced his proposed muslim ban to a cheering audience, but perhaps 'cause trump were so obvious one o' the morons in many respects, we didn't realize the scope o' the problem. more fool us. just another moron. HA! Good Fun!

  3. The recovery times for consumables are generally too long. Sometimes they are useful early game when your casters run out of spells, but otherwise it is often not worth spending 4 seconds applying a poison or drinking a potion in combat.

  4. It is worth noting that +defenses to affliction is very strong (such as passives on Fighter and Paladin skill tree). If, for example, you have +20 defenses against dexterity afflictions and a rogue attempts to use crippling strike on you, you get +20 deflection against the actual weapon attack as well as +20 fortitude for the hobbled roll.

  7. OK, I will do it within a couple of weeks (let's not be too ambitious ) You should probably add all basic food (such as egg and pork) if you haven't. For the sake of completeness. But honnestly, it isn't a big issue. SSS rooms are also quite decent.

  9. It's kind of surprising, but this has never happened in any of my Hylea's runs up until this point. It must be AI related, most AI just won't bother trying to charm/dominate Vela, but not the Giant Spores! Here she is trying to punch my mainchar I wish I had looked in the combat log b.c. i'm very curious what her damage is like (she did hit a couple times). eventually though the "i'm scared" ai kicked in, and while she wasn't cowering, she would just wander in place.
    1 point
  10. yeah, one of the reasons why a whale of a wand may be very useful with a cipher on ultimate, you can charm Vela to start a fight spamming fast psychovampiric shield on her, just be sure to be far away enough from enemies that she does not run for them. The nice thing is that once she calms a little, she will stay there until you change map/reload

  11. From stealth, you can cast Chillfog or Pull of Eora (or other pulsing spells) without break the stealth until an enemy take an attack roll. Casting these spells nearby enemies (4-5m for exemple) can eventually gather them since they investigate when something happen (like for traps etc). The time the enemies enter in contact with the "spell" (and then break the stealth) your wizard should have recover his powerpool. A nice thing to do with wizard is to cast from stealth some Pull of Eora, Wall of Draining, Chillfog between the party and the group of enemies, wait few second to recover all the spells, and attack at distance to make the enemies "controled" in the pull of eora area.

  12. Putin acknowledges with thiś that they do not have the means to enforce naval blockade of UA ports anymore, especially when Erdogan announce, that all ships will be transporting grain under Turkish flag. That’s why such a fast u-turn happened, as Putin finds it less embarassing for him, to backtrack, than to engage with Turkish navy, which has now upper hand in Black Sea Putin being concerned about third world is as much likely as him being concerned about casualties of his army

  17. What's so great about 5th Element is that if Zorg wouldn't have fired all those people, Bruce Willis wouldn't have lost his job and likely wouldn't have went to that big adventure where he ruins all of Zorg's plans. Yet Bruce Willis and Zorg never even meet / are probably completely unaware of each other. /Edit: lol

  19. Increased defenses will, most of the time, reduce the duration of afflictions. Good defenses can prevent crit (+50%duration) and downgrade hit to graze (-50%duration) ; high defenses can make the afflictions to miss, but in PotD enemies have increased acc. It is the most efficient strategy imo for Forbidden First, good defenses and good hit-to-graze conversion. Resistances to afflictions is useful and "easy to get", generally the tiers3 afflictions are very tedious to have. Immunities prevent any correspondant affliction to hit, so affliction doesnt remove your related inspiration . Since it is not commun in game to get immunities, this point is good to see on equipment building (if you want to use chanter as interrupting AoE-per3s build with energized, the Effigy's Husk is a good tool ; later in game, food are also nice). For your last question, enemies "investigate" when surpised by somtehing like a spell, so casting long-lasting spell like Chillfog or Pull of Eora nearby enemies (but not on them) can be considered as free-spell if the spell is refreshed (not in combat) before this last hit (or another attack hit).I hope I am clear with my text!

  23. Here is non-computer translated English version https://news.yahoo.com/butusov-says-russian-claims-ukraine-170400235.html It seem that attack occurred in August. Ukraine was able to do successful counter offensive in Kharkiv after the breach, so it maybe that Ukraine's surprise re planning of their counter offence was because of this data breach. Russia seems to have published data about their attack just to spread doubt in Ukraine troops and increase morale of their own troops

  26. So, since the mod has been released for a few days and no one has pointed any major issues, I think it could be nice to advertise for it on a couple of places, such as Steam Forum and Reddit. I can do it for you if you want, unless you don't want of course. Quite minor issue : Unless I'm mistaken, I can't find Kith Meat to buy (but Forbidden Pie and Corpse Loaf can be bought). Granted this is only a true issue with BPM since all 3 Kith food have quite different effects (and not just better version of Kith Meat).

  27. Im not as clever as you guys and I dont use words like realpolitik because its confusing so I focus on what is happening now . Russia invaded a sovereign country and because of the Western sanctions and inefficiencies of the Russian military campaign Putins plans of conquest is failing. Putin decided to throttle gas to Europe and vatniks cheered " Europeans freezing to death ". The consequence of gas blackmail wasnt initially hyperbole because of the European dependency on gas from Russia so Russia could directly impact the lives of millions of people in the EU because he decided to invade Ukraine ....the EU didnt invade Russia The primary responsibility of most governments is the wellbeing of their own citizens so the EU was forced to find other markets for gas, they didnt do this until Russia used gas blackmail as a response to sanctions Apart from the fact I have family and friends who live in the EU there are also loads of people who live in the EU on this forum and Putin's War and actions directly impacts them. This is not some hypothetical debate about Realpolitik. This is about something that directly influences people's lives I know So no, Im not blaming the EU for responding to Putins War and the consequences of it

  28. yeah i think they focused too much on the later game, because 1 PL per alchemy scaled *really* well with all the different dimensions of a potion. i think 1/2 PL per alchemy could've still worked if stats still influenced poisons, because then a high-perception (maybe paired with might or intellect) could make poisons viable in early game.

  30. am thinking is all too easy to focus on symptoms as 'posed to causes. the ad is predictable misleading and vile, but the bigger issue is the recognition ads such as these, which for decades woulda' instant drawn condemnation from the leadership o' both political parties, resonate with a large % of white american voters, and hershel walker. most people is gonna condemn such ads, but the white republicans who know better are complicit 'cause they need the base if they is gonna regain control o' Congress and eventual the Presidency. since Gromnir were a wee lad, stephen miller's channeling o' calvin coolidge's ghost and the attendant nativism o' the early 20th century woulda' resulted in outrage from almost everybody willing to speak public on such matters. yeah, david duke and the like would nod appreciative at the blatant racism, but nobody worth mentioning wanted to be publicly associated with white supremacists, anti-semites and the like. nevertheless in 2022, oathkeepers and proud boys is fixtures at gop events, and their presence in numbers on january 6 and at charlottesville as well as similar loci o' infamy is hardly deserving a mention as such has become commonplace. am knowing some o' the liberals on the board see little difference 'tween robed klansmen and ordinary heartland americans who vote republican. unfair. the thing is it ain't near as unfair as it were twenty or even fifteen years past. working class americans angry 'bout the fact their manufacturing jobs were disappearing and that even if they had a job it were getting tougher every year to make ends meet, were increasing susceptible to the venom and snake oil being peddled by the likes o' rush limbaugh and steve bannon. ok, but why and how do we fix the problem? being outraged at limbaugh is swell and all, but he is dead and while bannon and miller is alive, internet vitriol directed at those folks only cement the faith o' the radicalized white voters who see lib condemnation as proof o' the righteousness o' their ill-defined cause. a large % o' white and working class americans voted for obama. that don't mean those voters were free o' the taint o' racism, but it did mean that their racism were less significant than their desire for change and they did indeed embrace a positive message o' hope: yes we can. am mentioning 'cause in a relative brief period o' time, a large % o' white voters were radicalized to the point they see democrats as more o' a threat than white supremacists, anti-semites and politicians active bent on overthrowing american democracy. serious? the advert is repugnant, but am thinking is far more important to focus on why so many salt-o'-the-earth, evangelical and white voters turned to the dark side. gonna need to look for ways to deprogram the willful embrace o' hate by the multitude and somehow convince 'em what should be oblivious-- that reflexive compare january 6 to the blm summer protests o' 2020 and/or vote for kari lake and herschel walker is something they never woulda' considered fifteen years past and is obvious wrongs. medicine dan and the like didn't wake up one morning realizing that democrats and joe bidden o' all people represented an existential crisis. is no way they thought it were okie doke to embrace proud boys, oath keepers and stephen freaking miller as brothers at arms, fighting the good fight to save america. identify stephen miller and his message as being bad is ez and is not particular constructive. the hard part is understanding how things became broken and to come up with practical solutions to fix what is broken. admission: we don't have solutions other than education. 'course the problem is education takes a long arse time to provide results and even so, the current gop is focused on undermining any kinda education which might fix the problems. HA! Good Fun!

Covers each of the obstacles on the course, but not the full run between them all. Although they do miss the Electro-Shock Therapy that is the last one....

  33. And what do you think Europe should do? Please don't say "Give in to blackmail by disgusting little piece of **** tyrant". I also don't get you constantly being snide at Europe's so-called "moral superiority" any time some European official calls out russia on its atrocities. How do you think that horror of a country's crimes should be called out? Like, "Russia, you are bad, but we are WORSE! Also hypocrites! Please forgive us Iraq and Iran, Serbia and Afghanistan, La Conquista, the Inquisition, ****ing up China with opium and lets throw it in Black Plague for good measure?", something like that? Also, Mamoulian War already said it, but I'll just repeat it for yer daily emphasis: "taking the 3rd world's resources " happens only because russia blackmails Europe with cutting off energy. Why it blackmails Europe? Because it wants its sanctions lifted. Why it got sanctioned? Because it attacked its neighboring country and as of right now still keeps destroying it, one civilian infrastructure after another. It all happens because russia started this war. It is russia's fault.

  35. So I have 12 hour clocked on Final Fantasy XV… If I would describe it in one word, it would be Bland… The Good: - Environment is gorgeous - Fishing minigame is relaxing The Bad: - Everything takes ages. Running around the map, story, sidequests, enemy encounters… - Most of the time “playing” the game, is just a waste of time and bland filler… - Because of the nature of the game, the subtitles are lost a lot of time to me. As a non-native English speaker, this is probably my biggest issue… After I finally get to the story, I miss some of the dialogues. It is impossible to pause them… - Lackluster and bland story. Story in Chapter 1 would be finished in previous FF games in around 30 minutes or so… Here it took me 10 hours… If I did skip all the running around for Hunts and Sidequests, It would take me probably 2 hours. Just because it takes ages to get to Objectives, which move you forward with the story… The Ugly: - Combat. Wait Mode is Atrocious, and real-time battle is chaotic… There is absolutely nothing good taken from previous games, to make the combat not suck - I have purchased Special Edition at the release of the game, which is just a waste of 120 EUR… Should have waited for discounted Royal Edition with all content for 15EUR…

  36. Ants are annoying and do often seem to appear randomly, there could be a few reasons for ants appearing. 1. You base has blocked the pathing (direction of travel) of the ants and they get stuck. 2. You mentioned food in chests, so having food in chests that are on the ground will attract ants, I had this issue in my first base, move them higher up onto a shelf should limit the quantity of ants appearing 3. make sure you are not putting any ant eggs in chests as they will hatch into ants eventually and cause problems. 4. You could either move the area of you base away from the can to create a path or extend you base to have the can inside your base. 5. You can use some ant totems near the area sometimes this help to keep them away. If none of these work and you think it maybe a genuine bug you could contact obsidian support and tell them about it. hope this helps.

  37. I see what you mean but there isn't an absolute rule about that. Most self buff are indeed without recovery but their casting time varies (Minor Avatar being a good example). So why not recovery too ? If the spell is very good anyway, I don't think it's necessary to change.
