Completed Wasteland 3. An excellent RPG and I wholeheartedly recommend it. Discovered that the DLC are online-only on Steam, so installed the GOG version (had it on both platforms for co-op reasons). Completed the first DLC, "The Battle of Steeltown", which was infuriating on many levels.3 points

re: Pathfinder recommendations (can't quote or forum eats the post): it's a D&D-like with romances, Bruce. Granted, they're nowhere near as elaborate as Bioware's, but they're there.3 points

It is unimaginable for most of the civilized people. But Ukrainians stopped being afraid long time ago. And this how they see it after this morning. For them, these attacks are just an evidence, that they are winning.3 points

I didn’t knew Russians dehumanized Iraqis as well… I know, that this might be useless… you probably wave it away, as any other of their atrocities, but this is one small example among thousands, why people are calling Russians orcs, and are cheering every time a HIMARS is launched3 points

As most missiles that weren't shot down by air defense didn't hit electricity, heating, waterpumps etc., but parks, busy streets etc. I would say that you are wrong in your assessment2 points

As of 11:00 or so, Russia has launched 75 missiles, 41 of them was shot down by air defense systems. And as we can see many of the rockets, which hit the target, did not hit the crucial infrastructure. Yet. https://www.pravda.com.ua/eng/news/2022/10/10/7371095/ Edit: so far critical infrastructure hit “only” in Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kharkiv and Khmelnitsky Oblast. Edit2: as of 11:00 the UA confirmed critical infrastructure hit in 8 Oblasts. With the observations, that most of the missiles hit non-critical civilian objects. As you have seen above.2 points

LOL… now I have seen everything… and you actually proved my point, why are people dehumanizing supporters of Russian Army…2 points

Staggering numbers: over 1300 Russian tanks now documented captured or destroyed in Ukraine. Since these are only the documented numbers, with proper evidence, the real number essentially must be greater, but by how much I don't want to speculate. https://www.oryxspioenkop.com/2022/02/attack-on-europe-documenting-equipment.html2 points

I mean, based on the description of the other romanceable characters above, I'm assuming the threesome option is probably just romancing a two-headed ogre.1 point

The game has great choices for romance in general. Not one, but two nutjob cannibal women. One male character posessed by an eldritch horror from beyond the veil of reality, a pushy half-goat, half-reptile, a succubus on a road to redemption and a... well, actually, I guess a cleric worshipping the Goddess of Beauty and looking for his brother is the oddly normal one out of the bunch. Huh, how did that happen? Bruce and romance spoilers:1 point

They could revisit V in the next game, I wouldn't mind that. Lots of people wanted a more happy ending. One thing that does annoy me about most of them is that they are basically a set up for future content, barring one (or two, depending on how you count) ending they are all fairly open ended in a way and leave CDPR the option of bringing V back. Now I wouldn't really mind that necessarily, but given that there's only going to be one DLC the thread of V's story is likely to be left where it's at. Heh, try having that one while Weren't the numbers of refunds stated during some investor call or leaked at least for Steam or something? From what I recall there weren't all that many and I would be entirely unsurprised if most of them were on last gen (where they never should've released the game, most of the really harsh criticism came from that direction)1 point

OK, I went through my first run (as Survivor), with main quest battles and a few other. Everything was fine enough, in my opinion, the mod can be published. Just a couple of comments (apart for Berath Blessing that I already told) : - Missing the Quality enchant by gold only upgrades. But don't remove the possibility to upgrade them with Mythic Adra and SSS quest items (which enable Legendary Quality upgrade) - Ingredients should not be sold for clarification. Ingredients that you get during battles should be mostly for selling. You should advertise that the rewards aren't balanced to enable recipes in the description of the mod. - I didn't check if Consumables can be edit: purchased indefinitely. They should. Or at least in big enough quantity. Everything was fine for mechanic, battle balance, etc... (I mean, after the initial trouble to beat nagas, but as you pointed, it was because I didn't use the mod to get lvl 16 henchmen directly). Congratulations ! Hope to see this soon on Nexus !1 point

Yes, but it doesn't matter much because it is a multi combination combo. You really need to build for it, so won't run into it randomly. I could theoritically nerf it (it's like 1 parameter chance by item, so not much... well... Effort) but it won't affect BPM experience unless one wants it deliberately. And if one wants it deliberately, well, why forbid it. Totally make sense indeed. I think I will add this to Tornado, set its PEN to 10 as I thought, and not change its damages. And the 2 other abilties needed a bit of fun anyway. EDIT : rounded down to 10m->2s and 15m->3s Missing one I'm currently pretty happy with the current status of Tier 9 druid abilities in BPM. Aspect of Galawain Interrupt on Hit, Finger of Death with accuracy bonus is the most reliable finisher (with Marux Amanth) and Pollen Patch... well... heal well enough. Maelstrom may need a little nerf (I'm tuning down my initial plan to a total of 314 damages... something like 30-50 for secondary random pulse is enough of a nerf), and Tornado a little buff (the one you suggest + PEN 10 + the previous ones).1 point

The conflict in Ukraine predates Russia moving troops in earlier this year, by many years. I don't know of a single politician that is a head of state of a nation that isn't a liar, though Putin is objectively a lot more honest and competent than most, at least when commenting on anything at the international level. This has been true for well over a decade. Insofar as where I get my information. Primary sources whenever possible. Example: I don't take CNN's word for what Putin or whomever says, I actually take the effort to find the speech/interview and read/watch/listen to it myself. (warning: if you do this, you'll discover that most of the western media lies, all the time, about everything) I also check a large variety of sources, including some which I'm sure you read. However when I check such publications as the WaPo, CNN, NYTimes, et al I'm more interested in what lies they're telling the gullible serfs than using them as reliable sources of information. A very important question to ask yourself whenever you're consuming any media is 'Why am I seeing this?', 'Why is this being shown to people?', or 'Cui Bono?'. Few seem capable of asking this question objectively, and instead take almost everything they see and read at face value (if they bother to learn anything at all). An incomplete list of information sources (on a variety of topics) that I've used within the last week or so (in no particular order):1 point

Are you speaking about Tornado ? I don't think it is really powerful (but I might be wrong indeed). I think the consensus is that it is not that much for a Tier 9. Actually not, I was thinking about your version of Entropy : because of auto-hit and duration (12s base!), you are able to One-Shot everyone including Dorudugan. You only need Mohora Tanga, or Effort, good Per (enought for at less always hit) and Avenging Storm or Boltcatcher. You dont need swift flurry for that. (I didnt mention it in the related topic to not ruin the Entropy's BPM users 's experience). About Tornado, I suggest to you somethink that can make sens : the Vertical Launch duration (here :0) can be made in function to the height of the effect. (Mule kick 7m, 1.5s ; Skyward kick 10m, 1.5s (>>2.2s) ; Launching kick 10m, 0s (>>2.2s) ; Tornado 15m, 0s (>>3.3s)) Entre Parenthèses some value scaling with int that take into account the height on the Mule Kick model (/4.5). But that can also climb by spell's level. Maybe, instead of a Similar Classes comparison (3 spellcasters, 2 spell-regen, 3 martial offensives, 2 martial support/tank) another question can be posed : "is Maelstrom above the curve of Druid power?" I mean, Pollen Patch can be increased to env. 20 heal/sec/patch (staying immobile count for 1 patch) for the whole party for an extendable duration. (PP and Entropy (unmodded, because as you said, knowledge is power) are my favorite and most used spells with my druid). Touch of Death destroy any Near Death vs will, in addition to Constitution debuffs from Venombloom or Plague of Insect (-25% base health) a boss fight can be quickly done. Speaking about megabosses, that can be more significant than Maelstrom. Druid's Insect DoT spell at tiers 9 could be, in the spirit of the curve, an empowered version of Plague of Insect with a good natality for them, so like Toxic Strike in AoE (scaling with Beast and Rejuvenation KW) ; or a spell version of the IRL locust cloud, I dont know. In the fact, the tiers 9 spells that are unpowered for a druid are summons, but all the curve is low, and Tornado (Tornado seems to shine for the 15m launch in the code, but that have no effect so..). But that is only my opinion, yours is not less valuable even for me!1 point

I looked into it a bit more and was surprised to see it has a turn-based mode, if only because I remember reading that Kingmaker had no such thing on launch (and now I've learned that it was added by a mod). That certainly helps sell it to me. Well, not in a literal sense, because I'll probably only try it once it lands on Game Pass, but yeah. Speaking of turn-based, I recently started Solasta's Lost Valley DLC, again in co-op of course. Seems to be a decent improvement, travel times are less oppressive, there's some limited choices now, and level design is a bit broader. Disappointed in not having access to any new classes compared to the base game, but no way am I paying for class DLC packs that add nothing else. EDIT: I know it's in a current Humble Bundle, and also on a fairly deep discount at GOG, but still too much for something that's probably a bit too hardcore for me. Incidentally the bundle made me roll my eyes a little at the BG "Faces of Good and Evil" DLC which is, uh, six portraits. I'd rather have horse armour...1 point

If you use the pebble spear and make acorn armor you can kill the red worker ants for red ant parts and worker head. then craft the ant armor and decend into the red ant cave. The red ants should not attack you while donning the ant armor. I killed multiple workers using that set-up.1 point

It’s nice that they did a great adaptation of books series I enjoyed as a kid. I never quite connected with the concept of being tied to something purely because I happened to be born on land within the same political jurisdiction as a company/artist/sports team. Really, in gaming what company location indicates is that most likely in that it relatively cheap to run a studio there. Not sure, if it is something I would feel particularly proud of.1 point

The suicide option you have to pick right before deciding on what you want to do. If you have a save, that's over really quickly. No need to play. I did the hidden ending once and picked the Temperance ending at that point because it was what was still open. What a glorious waste of time that was.1 point

Seasonally appropriate spooky gaming is just over a week away (October 14). I'm pretty excited for this. I'm not usually big into body horror, but I love the vibe Scorn is giving off. Supposedly, while it does have some shooting, it's much more of an adventure/puzzle game than it is an action game. As a bonus, it's day 1 on Game Pass. I've already got it pre-loaded on my xXxBOxXx.1 point
