  2. Good news for people afraid of The Winter Draghi signed new energy deal with Algeria already, and von der Leyen has visited Baku to propose new energy deals with Azerbaijan. Few more small steps, and Russia will lose a big chunk of the market, and will have no more opportunities to even try to blackmail EU...

  3. Sorry for the long delays on this... but now that I'm on vacation and full of energy, things are back on track! I'm thinking about splitting items up like this: Grimoires, scrolls & unique accessories to Winge. Unique armor & weapons to Caretta. Ingredients & gems to Neale. Winge won't trade with you until after the first challenge. Is that ok, or would it be harsh for Wizards? (They'll still get the starter Grimoire from the get-go.) Otehr than that it's just tweaking the XP bonuses remaining.

  6. It's a solid all around caliber, the middle ground between 9mm and .45. It has most of the stopping power of a .45 but with a flatter trajectory and better effective range, closer to that of a 9mm. As for why the Glock G40, I like the 6" barrel. It makes it a terrible sidearm for concealed carry, but I don't care about concealed carry, hence that's not a negative for me, but I get the benefits that a long barrel provides (accuracy and power at a distance). I'm also considering Sig P220, but Sigs are sooooooo expensive.

  8. Overlord 4.2 Albedo goes on a diplomatic mission and when she attends a ball, a stupid noble decides to court her. Make your bets on how long he has left to live. I guess Overlord is actually a horror story, at least from the point of view of the people in the new world. In the beginning of the anime you could still see bad people getting punished, but as time passes it seems the casualties of innocents will increase. Overlord 4.3 Wow. After two “boring” episodes just to set things up, this one had a lot going on. Ainz wanna know what Demiurge is planning, but asking him would reveal that Ainz is not a genius supreme being, so he accepts to remain ignorant. What could possibly go wrong? Iirc Demiurge is taking care of some “happy farms” and considering how much respect he has for humans, it can’t be a good thing. Specially with nobody checking on him. The Slane Theocracy’s leaders discuss the Sorcerer Kingdom. Hilarious to see them slowly realizing what they are dealing with. “Why did so many monsters appear in the Kingdom at the same time?” “Could they be working together?” And they have seen only a fraction of Nazarick’s npcs. “Could it be a 7th tear spell?” Apparently they don’t know there are spells up to the 10th. “Should we try to get Momon and the Sorcerer King to turn on each other first?” Good luck with that, since they are the same person.

  9. Oh, I finally understood - my bad - it happens if you have multiple instances of Pull of Eora which drag enemies between them preventing them from taking any action. Indeed, if the enemies don't resist it works like a hard CC. However big enemies are immune to pull/push effects...

Don't get me started on their poor base security too...although Seaview was worse, letting people without clearance anywhere on the sub....sheesh.

  13. Do push/pull effects not serve as a soft interrupt in your game? i.e. if you hit someone trying to cast a spell with Llengrath's Warding Staff, do you not "soft" interrupt the spell cast? You don't lose class resources if you get pushed/pulled while using an ability, nor is your recovery set back, but you do have to start over with your casting animation again if you were in the middle of it. Add to that Pull of Eora's pull is not instantaneous (you spend a bit more than a second just flying towards the center, during which you can't act) and the janky interactions from multiple push/pull effects on the same target (very common with Arcane Archer) and you should get enemies which are barely able to act. They just spend most of their time with the prone icon above their heads and flying around helplessly. Note that I mean that they have a prone icon above their head. Mechanically, they're not interrupted/proned. It's just that the game doesn't have an icon for being ragdolled so it uses the prone icon. Obviously if your enemies are passing the Fortitude rolls this doesn't happen. But you have insane accuracy with Arcane Archer.

  15. In my game the enemies aren't prone at all. They are just dragged toward the center of the vortex and continue to attack normally if you're close enough - which corresponds to the description of the spell. Maybe you have the same bug as @Constentin Lévine. If you are in their range they will attack you normally - ranged attackers are basically unaffected...

  16. Arcane Archer's Imbue: Pull of Eora with a bouncing weapon + Driving Flight can be handled like a hard CC effect. In theory the enemies could still attack - but it happens so seldomly that one might as well call it hard CC. Good thing is that there are very, very few enemies with immunity to push/pull effects.

  17. Don't know about you, but for me enemies cannot attack while ragdolled (i.e. while being sucked by Pull of Eora, or pushed by Anguish, etc.). In-game it is represented by the prone icon. If you stack Pull of Eora instances with Arcane Archer you can very easily get situations where enemies are permanently ragdolled and cannot act at all.

  23. Sure, but isn't it also alot more expensive? I'm thinking that might be relevant since it has alot snappier recoil than a nine you'll probably need more time on the range to compensate

  27. Other stuff: Other house, neighbor had avocado tree (altho it's currently dying, ::sadface::). This house, neighbor has grapes that entwine among the other bushes/trees. They're small, like raisin-size, but good/sweet. What you do when your knees are "bad" and the backstep is too deep/high. The floor threshold to first step was about 8 inches high making for a jolting forward-landing and I was side-crabbing it, which was straining one hip...now it's 3 inches and the other two steps are shallower/ok. I'm such a joint-gimp now. >.> The home-to-garage door stairs needs a plank/ramp over the stairs, too. Pfft. "Awesome, a lot of these are labeled with nice labels!" "...never mind, many of them are wrong, apparently." Why is this almost always true.

  30. Tiny Tina Wonderlands - We still have lots o' little sidequests or "completionist" type stuff, but we hit max clvl (40, currently) and went to do the campaign end boss. We killed him and the loot shower started ... and the credits rolled right in the middle of that. Not allowed to click out of/skip them. Fine, they've done that before, 5-7 minutes or whatever right. We waited. And waited. And waited. 25 minutes later we were still waiting. 30 minutes later it was finally over for me, but hubby's PC for some reason was 5 minutes behind showing them so we waited some more. When they finally dumped you back into the game, the loot shower finished etc, but .... ....way to kill the player's play-mood. By the end I was wishing I could have my chr. shoot all the credits as they scrolled endless by. Maybe you can skip it if you do it a 2nd time, but that was an overly excessive length for forced game 1st-time credits watching. >.> Like, after a few minutes of main credits a "press to skip" could have popped up then, with the "play credits" in the main menu to view later. We tried the end game routine briefly - similar to the Overworld instanced "encounter" mini-map sequences, with a new currency drop for item enchantments. Then we tried one of the short DLC's and while the areas were unique, it still runs like a small multiple-arena goal-gauntlet, with yet another currency to gather and the added factor that you cannot die/2nd-wind. If you die during the whole trip, you're put back in town and would have to start all over. eg, not much of an "endgame." At any rate, we still had a fair amount of fun overall, despite some later mild annoyances here and there.

  31. The Waylanders. Completed the second playthrough, which took less than 10 hours. The ending slides played as they should, unlike the first playthrough, though I am unsure what exactly caused it. Another bug encountered is that I was unable to talk with the companions after completing their quests and there were 2 more random crashes.

  34. Well number 1 is the endless stream of quests. They say "go here to do this main quest. And on the way there are 300 events. Save this person, clear this area ect. Feels like there is no real downtime. Example. Get the first mission. Walking down a path and there is someone held hostage in the bushes, but I don't see it, I just hear yelling, then firing. So I blindly fire into the bush. Save the person. I take 10 steps and the exact same thing happens again. Walk for 30 seconds after that, and then there is an outpost. Liberate that and I get a call that someone needs saving down by the dock. I can see why people like it, it's 'fun' just really not my style of game. Also I'm a little OCD when it comes to map markers. I feel the urge to tik them all off. And always end up getting fatigue and giving up...

  35. Hi As in this thread and others had commented The level cap is too low.. but what if we had an easy to put together last DLC? I say 'easy' but game design is never 'easy' but in comparison to the other DLCs.. this would be a light amount of work. Imagine on Monarch, The Board had a secret.. the reason they didn't invest in Monarch was because of the 'monsters'.. but ones that weren't commonly known about. In this DLC you receive a Communiqué from The Board that all settlements on Monarch are being threated and 30 of their troopers have died already. This of course has the Board worried about Law Suits from the troopers families as it does not fall under the death clauses of their contracts. We set off for Monarch with a new destination.. Monarch West (The Pit)*.. The landing pad is behind a massive rock (so the ship is not smashed) we go outside and get a quick cutscene of a Cloverfield sized Manta called 'Manta Emperor' ending with you and the up to two party members running back inside.. ADA informs you 'we cannot lift off captain, until the threat outside is dealt with'.. 'May I suggest all crew members fight together to bring down this assailant?' Parvati interject before the captain can answer 'I have been working on a MEGA-GUN on my spare times.. y'know beef up the ships defences with a little offense.. I don't know if its ready.. we would have weaken the creature lot before we could try it..' The selection screen for leaving the ship comes up, but this time we are choosing a 'First Officer' to lead the second team.. you then choose who you want for your team and the remainder will go with your FO. Your adreno rations are now split in half. Bonuses from both teams only apply when you are within 200 years of each other. Manta Emperor Pretty much Cloverfield style He has Manta-Queens dropping off him while whole the team traverse 'The Valley'.. when weakened he has the option to go back in his cave to eat glowing crystals to regain health but if he is aggro'd enough he will keep fighting. Once severely weakened he goes nuts and just starts chasing the team then gets his head stuck in-between the wall and giant rock.. its at this point ADA asks you if she will fire the cannon.. you have a dialogue option.. that doesn't matter because its just a comedy moment of 'will I have to do this all again' as Parvati and then the whole team start shouting 'YES!! .. FIRE!!' .. ADA fires the MEGA-GUN and Manta Emperor's head explodes. We get a unique item suited for each crew member and ton of XP and cash; 2 levels XP and 450,000 bits. + Board rep. We can now continue further into the Valley and so on to the 'Mouth of the Pit'.. at the Mouth of the Pit a Cloverfield sized: Giga-Sprat who has gotten himself stuck in the hole.. he can spit corrosive and swipe are the two teams but at this stage cannot leave the hole he is stuck in.. this is to suck the players in that this is an easy fight.. no. he gets free when his swiping knocks over a massive boulder that cracks the side of the Pit (the hole he is stuck in) .. he can now eat party members. They give him indigestion but he can eat up to three before he has to sick them up. If he dies with a party member inside him you have to go inside to retrieve/revive them. Reward: unique armour for each crew member. 5 levels and 1,000,000 bits. ++ Board rep. Forward into 'The Pit'. It *was* a gaping hole but with the boulder cracking the side of the mouth we now have a *slight* staircase to this very deep cavern. As the crew lands they see massive SAM robots in pieces .. this is the scene of a battle past.. The Crew start to worry with Max asking the captain 'are you sure we should be down here captain?'. Hyper-Eurayle (lvl 75+ recommended) As the Crew walk further down the tunnel.. getting wetter and wetter.. until the crew realize they are inside a stomach.. who doesn't want to have that kind of adventure?? .. there is a trick.. if you can't kill her, you can 'Grumpy' your way out (see Land of the Lost movie).. if you're there to fight.. you need to get one team to the brainstem while the other fires at the lungs.. mess up and her stomach acid will wipe out the lung team.. mess up with the brain team and you will end up in her mouth with many sharp teeth.. Beat her and.. Rewards: 10 levels 5,000,000 bit and 5 unique weapon mods & 5 unique armour mods.. these are always returned and three perks per mod. Mods makes non-unique nameable and unique. +++ Board rep. On the other side there is a landing pad and Felix comments 'Hey why didn't we land here??' and Nyoka turns around to him and says' You CRAZY??.. so we go up that things ass fight it and.. what do you think that GIGA Sprat would have sprayed at us?? 'bout lost your mind boy!' Felix embarrassed 'oh. yeah..' Dava *West of the large structure on the hill.. West of the Monarch Settlements. I got loads of bad karma with the board would like a chance to clean that up so I can buy out the byz weapon shop. fyi.
