Funny enough, a (cold) tuna sandwich is among my favorites, but I dislike tuna melts.3 points

Adding elevators, which could be designed from dumbwaiters, would revolutionize building in Grounded. It could be made simplistic, or relatively complicated with gears and ropes like in real life. To dissuade people from spamming the build to reach very high places in game by "cheating", you could make it very expensive to make and maybe very large to fit the whole group. That way, people would only build it in their bases and it would be more of a luxury build instead of a height spam. People already spam clover roofs as a ramp for this purpose anyways... This would be the tier 3 of stairs, where as tier 2 is the bounce web. It's recipe could be silk for the ropes, a choice of grass or weeds or mushrooms for the walls and floor of the car, and maybe some other things like boiler glands or firefly goop for adhesives and lighting. Like I said earlier, you could make it look sophisticated with gears on top of the car's support showing the ropes, or could sell the idea by just making it look cool. To operate it from the outside, you would just pull the rope (player pushes button) and it would come up or down, and you would do the same thing inside. You could simplify it by asking on screen what floor the player wants to go to, "up 1 or down 1" which would be shown as "push button for..." You could also just have the player select a floor from a pop up menu when prompted, or if too complicated only allow 2 floors per elevator, so there's just a prompt to "use elevator". To add a floor to the stop, the player could do it in build menu and attach the floor to the shaft, which would have to meet certain conditions and such to prevent bugs. The concept makes since since there's no electricity, and the concept has already been done in the form of dumbwaiters. I think it would be a great addition, and it would basically be the vertical version of ziplines!2 points

I think comparing it to a tuna (salad) sandwich is why it comes up so short. Like you can have the same thing but better and with less effort, why would you do that?2 points

Assassin/Bloodmage with Arkemy's Brilliant Departure and Helm of the White Void is pretty bonkers, yes. You can reduce the defenses of most enemies to dust and put all sorts of hard CC on them with stellar accuracy and without even being seen. You can even go into an encounter alone to "prepare" the enemies for when the cavalry (rest of the party) walzes in.2 points

Gotta love that the hot coffee was and is so controversial... considering you can murder countless people, buy hookers and kill them for a full refund. But having sex with a girlfriend is a bridge too far. Gotta love modern morality.2 points

Finished Stardust Crusaders. It's a great series and the team is funnier than what was seen previously. I'm glad there is another arc with them.1 point

His voice ain't bad really. Would have been cool though if he had impromptu changed the song to Pale Shelter. edit: is that one of the songs no longer in GTA?1 point

Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS, Episode 17: Whee, Cargo gets to show off her summoning power that's been teased and hinted at in bits and pieces in the earlier episodes, Subaru and Erio get a neat reminder why there's no I in team, and the Doctor's cyborg squad pretty much fulfilled all its objectives (except taking Subaru as a prisoner). The Doctor cackles and laughs like a madman, saying he's a lover of life and philantropist at heart, which would ring hollow had his team not gone out of the way to keep civilian casualties to a minimum. He also makes a very helpful transmission offering his technology, for a price. I guess as far as sales pitches go, making the Space Cops and their rapid response team look like a bunch of incompetend amateurs ain't half bad. Potential partners and buyers don't need to know that the deck was stacked against them, right? At any way, the expected low point didn't come in the fight right at the middle, but roughly two thirds through the season, and it's a lot lower than expected. Sheesh. Also curious how they'll write themselves out of this mess without going for a major asspull. The combat cyborgs are being adapted and changed after every encounter, and this time it was rather evenly matched already. Next time... edit: The combat cyborgs all look a bit like they could come out of a Mega Man game. edit 2: Oi, I kept thinking I know the Doctor's voice from somewhere, it's the same voice actor that voice Fuma in the X movie. edit 3: Next episode has the cleanup, some nice moments between the characters (even the "bad" guys, who are currently hard at work setting up some heel/face turns for the endgame). The Arthra, the Space Cop battle cruiser that appeared in the first two seasons is repurposed as mobile headquarter for Riot Force 6, it was close to being decomissioned and has been mothballed for a while now.1 point

That's what I'm going to tweak to only 10% less per hit indeed. It matters a bit, though, if you use a Whale of a Wand (and still cast it) But there's better spell to abuse with the wand anyway. I'll make sure it can boost twice on the same target. 10% reduction per bounce still lead to 43% damages on the 8th bounce (boucing reduction is multiplicative, not additive, fortunately). That's more damages on each of 2 targets than Sunlance for 1 target (provided PEN matches AR of course). It also benefits from higher PL. It targets Deflection, which is usually a good idea. I think the spell would be OK. Still a bit meh compared to the widespread corrode and utility from Circle of Death and sheer damages of MPPB. That's why I think bouncing back to the same target is necessary and sufficient to make this spell good. Yeah that's how it is displayed. Your hypothesis is believable. I don't mind the decreasing damages, provided the overall damages are OK. Eld Nary is also fun because it is so slow at bouncing that it is somewhat of a DoT. Bouncing damages spell are indeed more interesting with bouncing back to same target, because it is what make them different, and more efficient when only 2-3 targets. By the way, BPM did something similar with Healing Chain which was a meh and uninspired AoE heal : it set to bouncing back slowly between friendly targets for a high number of bounce and now it is a strange HoT that can be focused on a small detachment from your party. The bouncing mechanics are really fun toplay around, but it seems the devs didn't seize the opportunity to make fun spells based on the mechanics they implemented.1 point

I agree, Soulblade is best melee cipher builds, and there's a nice synergy with rogue since Soul Annihilation benefits from sneak attack/death blows. Assassin is also great; with backstab and the assassinate bonus your Soul Annihilation attacks will live up to their name, and one shot pretty much any foe aside from bosses. Also, if you use Whispers of the Endless Paths the once/encounter ability Run Through is devastating when used from stealth/invisibility.1 point

Just a smart thing which the game "The Forest" did were they made trees respawning an option which you could turn off and on in the options. I feel this game should have that aswell just with the grass.. I had this whole area cleared of grass and even had a base built there, Im 64 days in on this world and I log in to find all of the grass has respawned.. messes up my whole base and all the progress I made clearing the grass. Kinda kills it for me when it comes to building bases on the ground.1 point

Well, it's not that shocking to have an ability that doesn't scale. Most brisk Troubadour chants don't. Ironskin doesn't. I have a tiny doubt about durations. I'm usually not concerned about Turn-Based (I haven't experienced it enough to pretend BPM is in line with it), but when it comes to fixed durations (which can't scale with any means), I tend to round them as close as possible for multiple of 6s (1 round) Therefore I propose : Withdraw : 30s -> fixed 30s Play Death & upgrade : 10s -> fixed 12s Beetle Shell : 10s -> fixed 18s ??? I tend to think low duration is a bit less critical for this one, and a bit more duration can be useful for soaking damages. Also I wished it could be superior in some way to BPM's BDD (which provide 12s of 300 damages shield without side effect)1 point

I have tried this several times now when players reported this - but I cannot reproduce it. For me the ACC bonus of the Azure Blade only works for attacks with the stiletto itself. If we count shields as weapons then technically Tuotilo's Palm also works not only for itself but also for your bare main hand fist and Forbidden Fist ability (the dmg- or ACC bonus for unarmed attacks I mean).1 point

I'm going through the early game of SMT 5. This early in a MegaTen game the goal is to get a team that's not complete dog****. The first demon that joins you (in a scripted event) is a Pixie, which is somewhat common in MegaTen games. For a starter demon, Pixie is pretty good. She's weak physically but has decently high magic, agility, and luck, so she evades sometimes and does decent magic damage, plus she can heal. Next I got a Slime to join, which is the worst demon in the game, but you take what you can get at the start. Once I reached the point where they opened up demon fusions to me, that's when the game proper started. I fused an Angel, which beefed up my team's healing power and introduced light magic into my arsenal. I recently fused an Azumi to add ice magic to my team. A Mandrake is the weakest member of my current active party, it will be the next one to get replaced. I'm keeping the Pixie from the start of the game on my bench. I doubt this game has anything like in SMT 3 where if you hang on to the Pixie that is your first demon companion you can later turn her into an Uber Pixie, as soon as I can fuse her into a High Pixie I'm going for it. I have the necessary demons right now (Pixie + Angel) I'm just not high enough level (you can't fuse a demon higher level than the protagonist). I got a side quest from an Apsaras to get rid of a Leanan Sidhe. The Apsaras offered to join me if I complete her task. Of course, once I met said Leanan Sidhe she made me the same offer with the roles reversed. I'm pretty sure the outcome will have no bearing on the larger story, so it's a matter of which demon would I rather have on my team, Leanan Sidhe or Apsaras. I'll probably side with the Leanan Sidhe, mainly for dark magic. I have time to think about it as I'm not strong enough to defeat either yet. I'm not sure if I'm going to do a physical or a magic build for the protagonist yet, so I'm dumping most of my points into Agility since that stat is always very useful in any build.1 point

I thought it would be cool if there were jumping spiders that behave similarly to ladybugs. I heard that jumping spiders irl can even have arachnophobia so I think it'd be neat for them to run away from other spiders. In my opinion, having an adorable spider would provide a healthy variety from the deadly and terrifying ones.1 point

It's from a long line of TV series based on the Wuxia novel <<Return of Condor Heroes>> but the one consistent thing from all of them is copious amounts of wire-fu (in fact the 1995 series and the movie <<Iron Monkey>> was my introduction to flying people in kung-fu movies before <<Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon>> came out).1 point

Yup, I like running around in this game. And at least combat is same-map, not loaded-in encounters. Also, seems a good game for future GPU/RTX performance testing. Not sure how linear it is yet - has small side quests and it guides you forward a lot - you can roam a bit, find things, but it's not hugely expansive early on. Being very plot/scene heavy I'd guess fairly linear.1 point

Sword and Fairy 7: Oh, a mage-warrior pretty-boi - +1 (he's not the main character, will be one of your party tho) Some nice looking/cinematic in-game cutscenes - +1 (movies seem to be the typical 1080 or 1440 resolution and thus fuzzier on 4k tv) To Ray Trace and lose lots of FPS (depending how much quality you're willing to lose) or... ...to not Ray Trace and have lots of 4k FPS (still looks great w/out RT, but I notice RT in an overall effect a bit more here than in Cyberpunk. It's still subtle most of the time tho, like the whiter cape, cave lighting, hair, surface reflections) But dang, some stuff/scenes in the game are absolutely eye-catching/gorgeous. All during the brief prologue/tutorial I kept stopping to gaze around and around. Ground textures/other here and there are sometimes iffy but the overall impression is poppin'. Combat, seeming player party structure ... reminds me a tad of Tales of Arise, really. Nothing uncommon lept out, in other words.1 point

With the release of the Haze and Heat update, many places are/have become inaccessible due to rocks that can only be destroyed using explosives, however, only one type of explosive exists that you can craft from scratch, the Bratburst, however, it requires Red Ant Eggs in order to make, and the spawn-rate of them depends on how many red ants there are in the world, what i'm suggesting is to add either more variations of explosives or variants of the base design, like they have for smoothies, maybe have one that uses a Boiling Gland, another that uses a Stinkbug Gas Sack, or one that uses the Fungal Growth from the haze, these are just a couple of examples i have.1 point
