Who else thinks that adding a beastiary would be cool. you could document all the different enemies (journal entries would be added once you kill the insect them for the first time and entries for creatures like the koi fish would be found in labs), and each journal entry could have a brief description of the insect as well as what environments it prefers and maybe once you kill enough of the same insect, the entry would update to add weaknesses (for example, if you kill 3 soldier ants, the entry would update to say that soldier ants will be neutral if you are wearing full ant armor). what do you guys think?

There is that too. Sadly even in my country that is more and more the case. I'm pretty sure it started with teachers not being able to discipline kids anymore. The schools lost a lot of power and the parents never picked up the slack. Which is not to say that schools were good before, you had a lot of **** who never should have been teachers, but now I think it's even worse.

Holy crap, you can use append to remove abilities? That's amazing for modularity, will be hella useful if ever I want to swap out abilities in the future.

Nightmare gets pretty difficult without passable gear but is at least doable, while Hell gets pretty extreme - huge resistances malus (-90) that makes you melt to most elemental attacks when you don't have piles of resistance gear, and not enough damage output can be pretty tedious...which is another reason I would only play the regular game with a sorceress to start without gear, since they're the least gear-dependent, .

Yeah, but instead of using it for a bit more (single target) damage it is - in my experience - often better to use it with hard CC. Especially on PotD where defenses of enemies are higher and health pools are bigger. A hard CC does "take out" a certain enemy right away no matter the health pool and buys you a lot of time. In case of mind control (dominate for example) you not only take out the enemy for some time but also gain sort of a summon. Sure, the added crit damage and PEN from assassinate won't matter at all - but the higher ACC (maybe even combined with other ACC buffs) makes it so much more likely to actually hit even high defense targets (and those are usually the most worthwhile to turn). So I would argue that Assassin itself is very useful - but in this example (Maia as Ranger/Assassin) it's not that impactful. You might be able to take out the first threat a bit earlier - but what about the second and third? PEN aside imo it's more impactful to use all that Guile for 3 Crippling Strikes (300% all-multiplicative dmg) instead of 1 Smoke Veil and 1 Crippling Strike (+50% additive dmg, +200% additive if Backstab is used from point blank). There's one thing about assassinating with something like an arquebus though: high numbers per hit are just fun. And fun is important, right? I can see Assassinate on a target with Takedown Combo be really cool. Use Dragon's Dowry from stealth/invisibility after you AC used Takedown Combo and the target should be in real trouble. But thinking about a fun and more effective way to use a Ranger/Assassin... what about using it with Thorny Roots? High Chance of immobilizing a whole bunch of enemies right away for a rel. long time and doing decent AoE dmg, too (+4 PEN might be what this ability needed). Stop them, then shoot them. Doesn't sound too shabby to me. Has anybody tried?

Yes. In contrast to KP, I'm content with the show simply feeling like a strange off-brand Miyu, . I think Sailor Moon is the only show where I always let them run, and that's because they were amusing in of themselves, didn't really do much more than tease a very simple premise, and Sailor Moon isn't a show where spoilers really matter one iota. I usually go back and watch them later after I've finished an episode, though it depends on the show in question and how they handle them.

They don't suppress each other because Sworn Enemy gives bonus damage (for your MC only, not the AC) while Marked Prey gives bonus accuracy. Marked Prey does stack with everything afaik (including Zealous Focus). Brand Enemy unlocks Predator's Sense by the way. Which is cool because it's an autohit, has good range, fast cast, no recovery and is quite cheap.

Hmm another uses for chalk....... Trail markers. Not like the post but like football field (hand egg for non Americans) that you could leave colored paths to and from locations to easier path making as some people are not as spatially aware as others and run just as much risk going to the hedge as they do the big ant hill

Yes, I don't think it will have the appeal of GoT. I rewatched the trailer and here are some thoughts: Tar Valon looks gorgeous, although not as good as the books imply. Things like "buildings that look like frozen waves" and the like would probably be too expensive to make. The Ajah colors are too obvious. Maybe it is the way the chose to show in a visual medium, but iirc only the Reds were like that. Maybe the Blues too? The scene in the Hall makes sense because of its formality, but outside I'd expect more variety. Anyway, nothing too bad. Based on what they revealed so far I'm excited.
