  1. I've been playing Don't Starve a lot, and one idea that should be taken from that game is the idea of a fridge that slows food spoilage. It could even use bug parts dropped by the Ladybird, or the Ladybird Larvae, finally giving them a purpose.
  2. Yeah, I personally, love the challenge, I love the learning curve and difficulty spike, I love the lack of handholding, but I fear that it might become too hard. the problems all started in between the shroom and doom update and hot and hazy update, and I feel like they are trying to make the game challenging for players who are continuing their old save and have 100+ hours, without thinking about the new players booting up the game for the first time. at this point, it's tough, but fair, enemies have different patterns and learning the parry help out a lot, plus, a lot of the tough bugs only appear in certain places, but I fear that if they are going to continue down this road for future updates, in the end, the games going to be unfairly hard. really, the game can be as hard as it wants to be, as long as it is fair.
  3. So the new bugs (specifically Green Shield Bug and Ladybird) don’t really have any reason to kill them, so I created some (because it’s kinda disappointing that that the green shield bug, which can only be found in a special place, and has a massive purple health bar, drops the same loot as a stinkbug.) The Green Shield Bug drops a green shield bug fragment or green shield bug skin, this will be an additional crafting ingredient in the new coaltana (the handle). The ladybird now drops ladybird wings (these wings are exclusive to the ladybird), these can be used to create a ladybird glider, a Breath of the Wild esque glider that allows the player to travel quite the distance. This would give the player a reason to fight these new bugs.
  4. The most likely got removed because the cost to purchase a lot of items in the shop changed, and that somehow put them back in the shop, regardless of if you bought them pre-update or not, the only noticeable affects are that my raw science and scab scanner were both removed so I'll have to re-purchase them at their inflated price.
  5. The reason why there is such bad lag by the red ant hill is because there are like 200+ ants in the anthill and that is just too many ants for the xbox to keep up with. I think it's because the worker ants are laying eggs too fast.
  6. Who else thinks that adding a beastiary would be cool. you could document all the different enemies (journal entries would be added once you kill the insect them for the first time and entries for creatures like the koi fish would be found in labs), and each journal entry could have a brief description of the insect as well as what environments it prefers and maybe once you kill enough of the same insect, the entry would update to add weaknesses (for example, if you kill 3 soldier ants, the entry would update to say that soldier ants will be neutral if you are wearing full ant armor). what do you guys think?
  7. I think that grounded could benefit from these new creatures. Enemies: Daddy Longlegs, if Obsidian decides to do anything with the shed, daddy longlegs would be a great choice as an enemy. Fire Ants: fire ants would attack quickly and swiftly and have the special ability to decrease your attack speed for a short duration. Centipede: centipedes would act as the horses of grounded, taming one will be hard, but these are quick creatures, able to get you from one point to the next in no time. Green Anole: the Green Anole is a type of lizard found in backyards. I don't have a use for them I just think that a lizard would be cool. Cucumber Beetle: a new type of hostile bug found in the vegetable garden. Grasshopper: a new bug found throughout the backyard. Bosses. I feel like the bosses should be unique and stand out from all the other enemies: Ground Scorpion, a scorpion would be a great boss and ground scorpions are a species that can be found inside sand boxes. Black Widow: one of the most infamous spiders, The Black widow would reside in a log pile (or something similar) and would have extremely powerful attacks. Praying Mantis: a praying mantis would be an unique boss that has a lot of health and would require a lot of punishment to fall. Coral Snake: The coral snake is unique in the fact that in can't be killed and will kill you in one hit. will probably be guarding a lab, and the player will have to sneak around it if they want to get inside, The coral snake would act similarly to the Reaper Leviathan (Subnautica) and the best course of action would be to move as silently as possible, small gaps would provide as breathers for the player.
