I guess that's the same posting as the former Community Manager @Aarik D? https://twitter.com/MikeyDowling/status/1179131245239754753 I hope we see her often and that you guys behave. Couldn't find her member name here yet. Anyway that's it - have a nice German Unification Day!

  7. thanks to six-degree of separation stuff, and recognizing just how much star trek content there has been over the past decades (heck, dwayne johnson was in tng,) every post on these boards could be somehow linked to star trek. climate change? The Inner Light admitted trump reminds us more o' a hutt from star wars, but analogize to a fat ferrengi works... not to mention fact he were in movies like eddie and zoolander, movies with large cameo casts. and heck, is even more obvious links Trump Supporters Are Confusing LeVar Burton With LaVar Ball, And It's Painful might be a few outliers. sure, lady crimson's gardening posts could get a boothby reference, but am not sure what do do with her korean media appreciation.... then again, am betting almost every korean tv or music star could get linked to lee byung-hun, an actor who were in gi joe films... and so too were the aforementioned rock. every post already is a star trek post, if you try hard enough to... make it so. apologies HA! Good Fun!

  8. Better skip efficient anguish for lesser wounds, on helwalker with high enough strenght (21-22 out of combat ) and hylea talons dot from it gonna be above 8dmg even without thounderous blows and generate wounds , with enduring dance you can chain cast WotW like nalpazca. Would be good to fit clarity of agony and heartbeat drumming too. By lv 20 parting sorrow and long stride are useless IMHO on helwalker, ajamuut stalking cloak is a must. For armor I would take effigy husk for PER immu (at lv 20 only defenses you need are immunities/resistances and concetration to fire up first WotW.) For weapon any combination of fists, grave calling, magrans favor, scordeos edge is good, I prefer Axe (modal) +scordeo for non slash immu for extra stacks dots- modal doesn't influence recovery of WotW and scordeo gives extra acc for more crits( and more hits with main hand thanks too heartbeat drumming) rust poingard and mortars are really good too

  9. Pallegina as Herald is a nice offtank. Either focused on offensive support (Shared Flames + Exalted Focus + Mith Fyr) or passive healer (Exalted Endurance + Ancient Memory and active Lay on Hands). Chanter is still plenty strong. As Crusader she can totally take the role of the main tank. But I guess that role is reserved for Edér. Xoti a SC Priest is absolutely ok. Besides her lantern there's a ring and boots which improve restoration/inspiration power levels which makes her a good support and healer. I would always take Enduring Dance as SC Monk. Once you get Whispers of the Wind you won't get hit a lot (invisibility). So the dance is very useful then. Lesser wounds isn't that important in my opinion. Good Armor for a dps monk with Abraham is Miscreant's Leather. This + Abraham makes you faster than wearing no armor. Fists should be one of your main weapon choice. They scale with Power Level and are great on SC Monks. Also WotW adds jumps with PL, so you want to stack that. You can use anything non-crush as alternative weapon - e.g. swords, sabres, stilettos, whatever. With WotW a very good melee option is Battle Axes + modal.

  13. yeah. the notion a person is getting away with something ignores what we said 'bout negligence being more appropriate to civil. we specific used examples o' doctor prescribing wrong medication or construction worker wrong building scaffolding when explaining texas cop case. make a mistake does not mean you ignore consequences. not go to prison is hardly the same as getting away with something. however, shoot somebody is fundamental different... but less so in USA as 'posed to almost anywhere else. sure, far more people die every year from prescription med mistakes than all firearm crimes and accidents combined. nevertheless, while meds may be as dangerous as firearms, the purpose o' the gun is to cause hurt or death. guns is different, or should be. if you use a firearm on a person, is expected somebody will be severe hurt or dead. prescription drug is not intended to harm. am getting the consternation and the dissatisfaction. we want to get justice for victims, and innocent people being shot and killed feels like a situation where justice is demanded. nevertheless, even when is an option for da to do so, we typical do not criminal prosecute mistake for intent crimes. is rare. is the exception. even the vehicular manslaughter stuff is rare unless is a repeat offender o' dui... or if the incident gets disproportionate publicity 'cause child dies or some other reason. HA! Good Fun!

  17. hehehe I couldn't remember her name, but I do like wasting my money on San Pellegrino. I'm drinking some with some lemon and gin right now! In other news, I finished everything I could find in Deadlight and now I'm scouring the seas. I've collected three bounties so far. I also knocked off a Principi who attacked me. My ship isn't all that great, but one salvo and then we board. My people are brutes! Good Lord, this is the best game I've played in... years? I really enjoyed Pillars 1. I backed it with what was, for me, a lot of money. For my own reasons, I'll always love it and, for one specific reason I will always have it installed with one save that will never be erased. However, Deadfire is simply glorious.

  18. Still getting highlighted text on mobile but I can recreate the issue now that I've paid attention to it. If I delete a paragraph or combine paragraphs then the lower text gets highlighted when delete the empty space enough so that the paragraphs above and below the deleted text are touching.Example, this was another paragraph that wasn't highlighted until I deleted the break in between Hopefully that makes sense

  19. Frankly, I'm not even sure what's going on with this discussion anymore. But on a positive note, we're only a few weeks away from the forums actually discussing The Outer Worlds. It will be a nice break from meta-gaming storefronts or taking sides in a proxy battle between billion-dollar corporations.

  20. I feel I'd be more interested in that film if I wasn't aware of Clint Eastwood's very vocal stance on "PC culture" and the likes in this more recent era ("we see people accusing people of being racist and all kinds of stuff. When I grew up, those things weren’t called racist", says someone whose formative years were the 30s and 40s). Already the trailer feels very patronising and I wouldn't be surprised for him to be establishing a direct link between this case and the people who are rather correctly outed for hate speech, sexual misconduct and so on. Which is not to say I'm against decrying social media's tendency to condemn people before they have a chance to defend themselves against allegations, or for misinterpreting one's words and so on (see Jon Ronson's excellent TED talk How One Tweet Can Ruin Your Life for example), but the way he's approached this subject in interviews, statements and so on is one that tells me his position on the matter is no more insightful, informed or empathetic than that of any regular Trump supporter crying oppression when criticized for the use of slurs and the likes. I'll check it out if I hear differently once reviews and early word is out, but right now I can't say I'm looking forward to it.

  22. I was also thinking the same that the next Obsidian game will be a looter shooter but my friend(who is a Sony Fanboy) told me that if Microsoft really wants to make a looter shooter then they bought Gear Box or ask 343 or Collation to make a looter shooter. They bought Obsidian because of what Obsidian is for not to make them what MS desire. Is he right or wrong I don't know but what ever he said makes seance.

  25. Unbroken/Trickster with Whisper of the Endless Paths. Also works als Devoted/Trickster if you don't want to focus too much on your disengagement bonuses but want better PEN in general. Depends on how you want to play this. The main idea: Be a tanky guy but dish out a lot of damage via retaliation Whispers of the Endless Paths: Offensive Parry. Triggers on every miss. Riposte (stacks with Offensive Parry) Defender Stance + Hold the Line + Persistent Distraction: unlock Deathblows on lots of enemies passively or Mob Stance if you don't need to hold a lot of engagement. You can also switch for more flexibility. Either Patinated Plate (max armor option) or Nomad's Brigandine (+deflection and good AR - good mix) or Casita Samelia's Legacy Breastplate (medium armor but great deflection via Intimidate, can retaliate as well, also comes rel. early) or Gipon Prudensco (variant with lightest AR and focus on leaving engagement on purpose in order to trigger disengagment attacks with ultra high deflection bonus which then get reflected - leading to crazy dps - but risky due to low AR) One Dozen Stood Plate (focus on terrify + forcing enemies to disengage) later Champion's Helm (more riposte) or Mask of the Weyc (nice deflection boost of +50 at the start of battle) crank your deflection as high as you can (max RES, Entonia Signet, Cloak of Greater Deflection, Bracers oGD, Superior Deflection, Refrshing Defense, Mirrored Images also Escape which lasts quite some time with highest INT and +1 PL and so on...) max INT and Tactical Barrage for longer durations, bigger cone and +1 PL standard MIG, CON, DEX, bit higher PER. You can also lower DEX and put more in MIG Use Repulsive Visage with Defender Stance and Overbearing Guard: enemies will get terrified and will break engagement: you attack with mighty PEN and dmg bonus and knock them prone. Your team members should help you with abilites which lower the accuracy of the enemies (Chillfog, Miasma, Devotions otF, Disponent Blows). Thisall produces more misses on the enemies' side. You can play this stationary (heavy armor) or with a lot of running around (triggering disengagement attacks). I presume you like the first one better. This can be you main tank if you also bring a large shield + modal. Switch to that if you get shot a lot/cast at a lot and things don't go like you planned. This build is great against all sorts of melee attackers but not perticularly good against ranged and casters. So I play him in a front line of three (all three not full tanks). Here's a small test session with the Casita-variant: small video

  26. I had a pretty completionist 300H run of New Vegas years ago (But i never finish games). I liked it after being so bored by Fallout 3. The hardcore mod became an instant must for me. It's been years now that i've wanted to play New Vegas again. But at some point i failed a big mod install (like 30 mods. While Skyrim requires 70 to be remotely interesting for me), and always felt too lazy to do it again from scratch... Otherwise, it would be one of the games i would never uninstall, along with Fallout 1 and 2, Baldur's Gate, Dune 1 and 2, Wasteland 2, Civ, and stuff like that. Other than that, i believe the only game i played during the past year or so is probably Wasteland 2 Director's Cut. Since i can spend 6 or 10 months without playing any game, it's probably normal. But i had some incentive to play Pathfinder and Phoenix Point. I will, one day. New Vegas is certainly a good idea.

  27. Exporting high level items is the whole point of this mechanic, however when exporting items you will have to pay shop price for them and better/more items you export more expensive it gets, also you can only hire adventures below your watcher level. Anyway this mechanic is here so you can enjoy some very late obtained items for whole play trough or to duplicate some item you want on two or more characters in your party (ring with fire accuraccy being prime example if you want to have 2-5fire themed characters in your party) also since you can gear yourself like a god as soon as you leave port maje without exporting anything, exporting one or two items will only make it easier for very short time mid game, obviously its abusable but in the end this is single player game

  28. Please! This is something RPG fans like and desire. I don't play Skyrim, New Vegas, Fallout 4 or any other RPG in first person. I require third person to fully enjoy a roleplaying game. Lack of third person is one of the reasons I will skip out on Cyberpunk 2077.

  29. Was so upset over the news even missed the obvious thread and started my own. FoV sliders do help some of us but it is far from a panacea, in many cases this is not enough. Optional third person view saved many Bethesda games for me, but not many companies bother to do such courtesy to motion sensitive gamers
