  2. Hello. Hm... About for Brilliant itself. The was a lot of suggestions, and a lot more brainstorms between me, Max and Elric – then i've tried to make various adjustments and test. It was hell of a time – basically i've tried everything, every aaproach. And for now CP stops at this variant: 1. Spell tiers were divided according 3/6/9 tier scheme 2. Every tick now acting as separate status-effect with fixed duration in seconds (3, 9, 15 etc.) and can be programmed individually. 3. Characters receives 1 resource at the end of each effect timer, according this scheme BRILLIANT INDIVIDUAL TICKS MANAGEMENT Tick time (sec.) Spell tier (up to) Alt. version 3 3 9 6 15 9 21 3 27 6 33 9 39 3 45 6 51 9 57 3 4. No "initial" tick. 5. Brilliant maximum duration is limited by 57 sec. and cannot be prolonged by any spell (even non modified): +N% Beneficial Effect Duration and +N seconds Beneficial Effect Duration (SoT) have no effect. 6. Reactivating Brilliant with Tactician practically makes no sense: you'll receive 1 up to T3 resource on second 3 >>> then reengage cooldown ~2 sec >>> then you receive another 1 up to T3 resource on second 3 = 2 up to T3 resources in 8 sec. While if you keeping Brilliant active all the time, you'll receive 1 up to T3 and one up to T6 resources in 9 sec. 7. Ancestor's Memory base duration has been adjusted from 12 to 15 sec to cover one full cycle of Tier 3-6-9 spells. I post link to download: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1wTjd-0-GFmf5BqgKBW0CmaVYU4ObWVOH/view?usp=sharing You can put this file in CP Basic/Extra or whatever mod folder to make it work. When effect is working you'll see a combat tooltip on character icon's right side, with each every next tick countdown (this is for info and test purposes). This is not final version anyway – as i said, each tick duration and Spell Tier can be adjusted (we can simulate even a random distribution). We just want to get your feedback, based on this version, based on real usage in various game situations. We also working on DBB, Unbending and WoD exploites and, in the end, want to check how all system, all adjustments, will work in complex. And last: this adjustment not belongs only to me – @MaxQuest@Elric Galad and @Boeroer (sorry for me being so rude sometimes), and others – all gives a big part (especially Max with his mathematics). We all must find the solution to implement this Brilliant Goddamned effect properly. Cheers!

  3. The first one was okay as an intro to the setting. Similar to how the XCOM2 or Deus Ex novels were okay. The second one was less than okay. There are two problems with the first novel: a) it tries to name drop too much stuff. "Ooh! The characters talked to some dalish elves." It doesn't lead to anything, but the word got checked off the list. David Gaider must have been under a lot of pressure on that one to get everything marketing wanted him to into whatever word limit he had. b) Shale appears in the novel and Loghain knows the golem, but as they made it day 1 DLC, in the game there is no dialogue to acknowledge this. It highlights a possible issue in project management at Bioware. Writers' work is just cut and thrown into the end product without too much care for the continuity the writers may very well have envisioned.

  4. Oh, you've found the fun part of SuperS. It'll stay that way for a while. Like... until the season's over almost. Are you having fun? I mean, honest question. What's your take so far? Given how far along you are there's ample reason to become really tired of the SuperS formula by now. edit: One more episode of Steven Universe. He made a bubble, and of course someone's eating popcorn. There's always some food, isn't there?

  7. Yeah, my dad read the books so I knew about the yuzan vong (or whatever they're called), but Force Cthullu was a surprise. Really seems like a lot of garbage with a few gems, but I guess that describes Star Wars in general, especially after the reboot. I was honestly perplexed at the inclusion of Old Ones in Star Wars. Though I suppose that if SMC is a prequel to Blade 2, then it exists in the Marvel Universe, which means it also can touch Star Wars because that is owned by Disney. Which means SMC is part of the Star Wars EU!

  8. I think KaineParker was suggesting that SMC is actually part of the Star Wars EU, but I might've misinterpreted.

  9. Biden administration supports congressional war Powers reform I never thought I would say this but hats off to the Biden ministration and the Democrats in Congress. This is much needed and long-overdue. So far I have been neither impressed nor upset at anything the Biden admin has done. They have been very predictable. And that’s a good thing. But this is big because this is a president indicating they are willing to give up Executive power. Granted it’s power the executive should not have been granted but the fact that he’s OK to go along with it says a lot. Makes me happy.

  10. Yeah, I've got the Ami special, but I've yet to watch it. There're two other specials as well called "Make Up! Sailor Guardians" and "Sailor Moon SuperS Special" (not the movie) that I've yet to check out too. Thank goodness Crystal is almost finally over - will you start a re-watch of it so that you can better appreciate it right after?

  11. I am a bookworm and since my computer died I've been getting more reading in, too. Nothing educational but whatever I find lying about my sister's house and since she has two preteens they're mostly YA novels and the like. But no, I'm not reading the tie in novels. I always need money.

  12. Forgot to mention I played the dlc for DA2, as well (playing all the dlc in each game is a part of the challenge). Legacy was alright with a good boss fight at the end where my healer and off tank went down almost immediately so I had to do the entire fight without half my party. Mark of the Assassin felt like a guest celebrity episode of a sitcom. By the end my grumpy mage hate Felicia Day or whatever her name was. Which was funny 'cause they tried so hard to make you think the character is awesome. I'm guessing Mark of the Assassin is where BioWare got the idea for Diana Allers as they both go way over the creepy threshold. Finally there's the Sebastian dlc. Summary: he will complain about everything (and the voice actor does a good job) but then they didn't get any of the other cast in to record reactions so Sebastian comes off as some whining ghost. I haven't done any DA:I dlc yet.

  13. A little over a month ago my computer overheated. With nothing but my Switch and my nephew's Xbox One to occupy my time, I decided to replay the Dragon Age games. Origins was great. I forgot how dark some of the notes and codex get and about the slog in the middle. I played a human rogue, didn't romance an companion (though I did hookup with several NPCs), never recruited Zevran (my family had just been assassinated so I wasn't feeling merciful), betrayed Alistair, married Anora, tried to get Logain to do the dark ritual but must've missed the right dialog prompt and had to do all the heavy lifting myself. Followed up playing all the DLC and Awakening. Most of the DLC is kinda blah except for a boss fight at the end of Golems of Amgarrak. Even Witch Hunt was boring until Morigan showed up in the final few minutes. Awakening, on the other hand, is pretty darn good. I've been saying for years they shoulda expanded Awakening and just made that Dragon Age 2. DA2 is still every bit as bad as I remembered it being from the one other time I played it. I didn't like the characters, the city is tiresome, the combat is mechanically improved but the fights with multiple waves of enemies in every encounter makes it boring, and the ever present fact there's no central conflict as a player goal all hamper it. I was short tempered a mage dude with a one sided crush on Aveline. I won't waste your time with anymore about what I didn't in this game 'cause no matter what you do or who you recruit the ending is always the same as I found out. Currently I'm playing DA:I. I hate the wartable (which is something there's a mod for if only I could play on PC. Which is ironic 'cause it's a substitute for a better system they used in Awakening. I'm about half way through and struggling to find motivation to keep on. That's despite not recruiting the annoying companions.

  15. Druidstone - The Secret of the Menhir Forest is much better game, than I have anticipated. Well at least on Hard Difficulty, it is really challenging, so I have to click restart once in a while, but I am really enjoying it. The writing is by no means stellar, but it is a fresh puzzle turn-based game. Finished so far 6 missions, 4 of them in 3 star rating. The other two, I will replay when I get little bit more powerful I can only recommend, so far 4 out of 5 stars If anyone would like to check how the game plays, feel free to watch my game

  19. I understand. Need a closer look, but maybe you're right. P.S. Yep, it'a long shot, but i can change INS_Brillant_SE_AddResources status-effect type from "AddResources" to "ApplyStatusEffectOnEvent", then set duration on "Instant" and "EventValue": "OnApply", and add all bunch of ticks SE's into "StatusEffectsValueIDs" section. This should apply all new effects automatically, without adjusting every Brilliant SE. So we can use original INS_Brillant_SE_AddResources as transfer. In theory. Need to test. P.P.S. I've "married" your Carnage indicator with CP)) Need to test as always, but it should work. So your mod can be as standalone, and for CP users you can add some note like "If you're using CP, you don't need this mod, because it included in Basic pack". Something like that. It's ok for you?

  20. You can prolong duration, but beyond 57 seconds you'll receive 0 recources. Yep. For sure, you can prolong AM by INT and PL buffs up to 57 sec. Any more? I doubt. Of course you can on paper, but you still receive 0 resources. That's the question: for now we have 3 full cycles 3-6-9 + 3 within 57 sec. Maybe it's worth to add 2 ticks to prolong maximum possible duration for 4 cycles or 69 sec. And i want to run more test to figure how a new Brilliant interact with various SoT approaches – BPM and CP. Still have some dark places – that's why i want more people involved in tests. We have a working mechanics and theory, but we don't know how adjustments will work in real game, in various real situations.

  22. Just a thought about the implementation. How about filling the original INS_Brillant_SE_AddResources with all the "tick"-effects? It is already used by all the brilliant effects, so that way you don't have to edit each variant individually. Something like: { "$type": "Game.GameData.StatusEffectGameData, Assembly-CSharp", "DebugName": "INS_Brilliant_SE_AddResources", "ID": "600e15a1-2db9-45f7-9584-c98d8a9aeff8", "Components": [ { "$type": "Game.GameData.StatusEffectComponent, Assembly-CSharp", "StatusEffectsValueIDs": [ "1369508f-f6d6-4fa8-86bc-a289881e1c81", "4ab182f9-80ae-4aa4-aa2d-0b1995a980f4", "4a7502c3-ac26-46a0-8214-3faf67995106", "f40ed981-799c-4397-9e10-90a409ecf409", "d9a2e46d-f076-4a13-96f9-3948169c7323", "54bc041c-0f37-4e9f-8cb7-9f9a8463cd50", "0a7f81ca-4bc1-42fb-8665-5821930ba1d7", "3e82b302-8e57-45bc-82e7-1c9c129aa943", "e91bac89-f5f9-4356-ab76-4138fad7b1a4", "5ae7a8c0-582d-49e2-aaf2-78c630e24554" ], "StatusEffectType": "None", "IntervalRateID": "00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000", "ApplicationType": "ApplyOnStart" } ] }

  23. 290W for an 8-core 125W TDP CPU seems...not ideal. Guess that's why it has to shut itself down every 25 seconds for 5-10 so it can not go into a nuclear meltdown. Although if you're running a crappy 5 second benchmark like userbenchmark, then I'm sure the results will indeed look great, . (e): Intel subreddit is calling it "Bulldozer Lake" and the "11700FX". Ouch.

  28. One of my parents neighbors used to take an annual salmon fishing run. He'd return home with both smoked canned salmon and not-canned smoked salmon (some was done where he fished, some he did in a backyard smoker). He'd always give some to my mother. Best smoked salmon ever. And I'm not a fish eating person.

  29. No because with regard to the vaccines they are behaving as a regular administration should. The previous one was an aberration. As far as re-joining all the climate change agreements they are absolutely nothing but lip service to goals that no one is trying to meet. The Biden a ministration is doing its job. It hasn’t horrified me and until this it hasn’t impressed me. But seeing an executive willing to give back power is certainly more than I could ever have hoped for from a president. But, like I said it hasn’t actually happened yet. Maybe it never will. Once it does then we’ll talk about it. Let’s just say so far it’s encouraging

  30. Back home again. Getting the smokehouse ready for cooking. My total catch this week was two hardhead catfish. One already cooked and gone. I caught four cobia but only one was big enough to keep. I’m glad I checked because they were checking at the ranger station as I left. The Cobia and the other catfish are going in the smoker this afternoon. I also caught a couple of sheepshead that were too small and a few others not fit for eating. Unless I was in some kind of survival situation. Then it’s screw the sizes and limit.

  32. I think it’s incredibly funny how sales of the six books are skyrocketing. I believe the thinking is that since they’re going out publication they might become collectors items. The problem is they’ve been in publication since the 30s so there’s a hell of a lot of them out there. It’s going to be 100 years or more before scarcity even becomes a thing.

Worked like a charm alongside duck breast and a red wine sauce. Doesn't look very delicate, and I should've reduced the sauce some more, but it tasted good!
