  2. Hello. Hm... About for Brilliant itself. The was a lot of suggestions, and a lot more brainstorms between me, Max and Elric – then i've tried to make various adjustments and test. It was hell of a time – basically i've tried everything, every aaproach. And for now CP stops at this variant: 1. Spell tiers were divided according 3/6/9 tier scheme 2. Every tick now acting as separate status-effect with fixed duration in seconds (3, 9, 15 etc.) and can be programmed individually. 3. Characters receives 1 resource at the end of each effect timer, according this scheme BRILLIANT IND

  3. The first one was okay as an intro to the setting. Similar to how the XCOM2 or Deus Ex novels were okay. The second one was less than okay. There are two problems with the first novel: a) it tries to name drop too much stuff. "Ooh! The characters talked to some dalish elves." It doesn't lead to anything, but the word got checked off the list. David Gaider must have been under a lot of pressure on that one to get everything marketing wanted him to into whatever word limit he had. b) Shale appears in the novel and Loghain knows the golem, but as they made it day 1 DLC, in the

  4. Oh, you've found the fun part of SuperS. It'll stay that way for a while. Like... until the season's over almost. Are you having fun? I mean, honest question. What's your take so far? Given how far along you are there's ample reason to become really tired of the SuperS formula by now. edit: One more episode of Steven Universe. He made a bubble, and of course someone's eating popcorn. There's always some food, isn't there?

  7. Yeah, my dad read the books so I knew about the yuzan vong (or whatever they're called), but Force Cthullu was a surprise. Really seems like a lot of garbage with a few gems, but I guess that describes Star Wars in general, especially after the reboot. I was honestly perplexed at the inclusion of Old Ones in Star Wars. Though I suppose that if SMC is a prequel to Blade 2, then it exists in the Marvel Universe, which means it also can touch Star Wars because that is owned by Disney. Which means SMC is part of the Star Wars EU!

  9. Biden administration supports congressional war Powers reform I never thought I would say this but hats off to the Biden ministration and the Democrats in Congress. This is much needed and long-overdue. So far I have been neither impressed nor upset at anything the Biden admin has done. They have been very predictable. And that’s a good thing. But this is big because this is a president indicating they are willing to give up Executive power. Granted it’s power the executive should not have been granted but the fact that he’s OK to go along with it says a lot. Makes me happy.

  10. Yeah, I've got the Ami special, but I've yet to watch it. There're two other specials as well called "Make Up! Sailor Guardians" and "Sailor Moon SuperS Special" (not the movie) that I've yet to check out too. Thank goodness Crystal is almost finally over - will you start a re-watch of it so that you can better appreciate it right after?

  11. I am a bookworm and since my computer died I've been getting more reading in, too. Nothing educational but whatever I find lying about my sister's house and since she has two preteens they're mostly YA novels and the like. But no, I'm not reading the tie in novels. I always need money.

  12. Forgot to mention I played the dlc for DA2, as well (playing all the dlc in each game is a part of the challenge). Legacy was alright with a good boss fight at the end where my healer and off tank went down almost immediately so I had to do the entire fight without half my party. Mark of the Assassin felt like a guest celebrity episode of a sitcom. By the end my grumpy mage hate Felicia Day or whatever her name was. Which was funny 'cause they tried so hard to make you think the character is awesome. I'm guessing Mark of the Assassin is where BioWare got the idea for Diana Allers as they

  13. A little over a month ago my computer overheated. With nothing but my Switch and my nephew's Xbox One to occupy my time, I decided to replay the Dragon Age games. Origins was great. I forgot how dark some of the notes and codex get and about the slog in the middle. I played a human rogue, didn't romance an companion (though I did hookup with several NPCs), never recruited Zevran (my family had just been assassinated so I wasn't feeling merciful), betrayed Alistair, married Anora, tried to get Logain to do the dark ritual but must've missed the right dialog prompt and had to do all the hea

  15. Druidstone - The Secret of the Menhir Forest is much better game, than I have anticipated. Well at least on Hard Difficulty, it is really challenging, so I have to click restart once in a while, but I am really enjoying it. The writing is by no means stellar, but it is a fresh puzzle turn-based game. Finished so far 6 missions, 4 of them in 3 star rating. The other two, I will replay when I get little bit more powerful I can only recommend, so far 4 out of 5 stars If anyone would like to check how the game plays, feel free to watch my game

  16. [CLASS BUILD] Vorpal, The Quiet Executioner – Assassin Devoted with Amra 2H Axe - Solo PotD Class: Assassin/Devoted (technically Amra gives you 2 Barbarian-like abilities that will proc in almost every fight, so this is more an Assassin/Devoted/Mini-Barb!) Concept: Very synergistic mix of stealth and melee dealing high damage and CC to multiple targets. Can be crudely summarized in 6 words: Clear Out With Amra From Stealth. This is a No-Rest build. Game Version: RTwP. Works with latest updates and DLCs as of v5.0.00040. I recommend the Full Community Patch and the No Forc

  18. You can prolong duration, but beyond 57 seconds you'll receive 0 recources. Yep. For sure, you can prolong AM by INT and PL buffs up to 57 sec. Any more? I doubt. Of course you can on paper, but you still receive 0 resources. That's the question: for now we have 3 full cycles 3-6-9 + 3 within 57 sec. Maybe it's worth to add 2 ticks to prolong maximum possible duration for 4 cycles or 69 sec. And i want to run more test to figure how a new Brilliant interact with various SoT approaches – BPM and CP. Still have some dark places – that's why i want more people involved in t

  19. Just a thought about the implementation. How about filling the original INS_Brillant_SE_AddResources with all the "tick"-effects? It is already used by all the brilliant effects, so that way you don't have to edit each variant individually. Something like: { "$type": "Game.GameData.StatusEffectGameData, Assembly-CSharp", "DebugName": "INS_Brilliant_SE_AddResources", "ID": "600e15a1-2db9-45f7-9584-c98d8a9aeff8", "Components": [ { "$type": "Game.GameData.StatusEffectComponent, Assembly-CSharp", "StatusEffectsValueIDs": [ "1369508f-f6d6-4fa8-86bc-a289881e1

  24. I think it’s incredibly funny how sales of the six books are skyrocketing. I believe the thinking is that since they’re going out publication they might become collectors items. The problem is they’ve been in publication since the 30s so there’s a hell of a lot of them out there. It’s going to be 100 years or more before scarcity even becomes a thing.

You Nordic people are very good at languages so I dont think it will take you too long to learn your new language ......but remember you first learning Arabic, how are those language courses going by the way ? But on a serious note, I share your concern and the good news is their is a new and more consolidated global view on the danger from Chinese hegemony, dont worry we wont throw Australia under the bus and leave you alone. 26. Well, that's part of the problem. Because the CCP doesn't consider its current territory "sufficient". They are currently not only trying to expropriate the entire sea down to Papua New Guinea, but are constructing military bases in the waters around Torrent Strait. Basically Autralias own "backyard". It would be the equivalent of the CCP setting up military bases on some of the smaller Caribbean Islands to support future territorial claims against The US and Mexico for example. Nobody believes that their "fishery endeavour" is anything but a pretense for constructing a naval base. Like the ol

  29. If you are running a playthrough without Berath's Challenge, on this build I think that Devoted is better than Tactician. I understand the hype and love for Tactician, I partake in it too . But the Tactician Dilemma drawbacks are strictly in the way of this build!

  30. Mostly point & click adventures and Stardew Vally. I don't know what was wrong with me. After Mass Effect 2, which I've quit just minutes before the final boss, because I couldn't stand those never ending waves of attackers anymore, almost every RPG felt like it had too much combat. I consider it an RPG burn out, because that describes ist best. I just needed a break. All I could ever think about was tactics and stats, not the quests, not the story. It killed all my motivation to figure things out, and I started to play everything in story mode. But that didn't help, either. In the en

  31. Not with Community Patch, but otherwise that's true: Tactician will trigger Brilliant when invisible. However, the fight will stop when you are invisible for a few secs anyway - and then Brilliant will stop and you'll get back all resources anyway (unless you apply Gouging Strike or so first so combat won't stop/reset).

  33. Isn't it the one from Legend of Grimrock folks? I remember it getting favourable reviews when it was released, but never got around to playing it. Still have LoG2 to play really. Started it, and never continued. I finished my 1st playthrough of Dishonored2 - will definitely be back for more, but for now I moved on to Death of the Outsider. I was expecting the worst, considering poor reviews, but I think it is a great DLC so far. Levels are smaller, sure but packed and still full of the Dishonored goodness. I think I prefer it's power design. Deplatable mana system means I generally don't us

  41. Oh absolutely not, and Josh sensibilities made PoE what it is, as why I like it. Deadfire, I think, also responds to PoE1 issue, where some major background information are just put in the books. There is a balance between those two. I have written before on how a protagonist tied to Deadfire conflict personally, might be a better vessel for this journey then importing the Watcher. As to “shorter campaigns” - that’s pretty much Bioware approach. Still, more coherent and interconnected Obsidian way worked before - New Vegas being a shining example of excellence and in many ways Deadfire dr

  42. I think that's not mutually exclusive. The detailed lore and nod to several historical events like colonisation etc. can be very interesting as well and you still can have a great overarching narrative. Detailed "history" and lore cam make a game feel more deep and alive. I think despite a lot of old RPG cliché like dwarves, elves, wizards etc. the world building of PoE/Deadfire is great. With BoW combining those two things worked a lot better. But maybe it was easier because it's shorter and more encapsulated. Maybe it would be a lot easier to do a game that consists of several smaller
