https://steamcommunity.com/app/1086940/discussions/0/3812913565885064204/ Here is a list of cut content from BG3, this contains spoilers so be cautious. Obviously I am not sure what is a spoiler and what isnt but those who have played the game will know what the points are I imagine most of this content will be included in a definitive edition so I will wait for that version to play BG34 points

Bought the game. Played it for 20 minutes just to see that it runs Ok on my pc. Trying to get off some giant nautil (sp?), but will probably restart the game at some later point (putting a bit more thought into choice of race and class). More interested in my Lich run in Pathfinder and my current game of JA3 atm4 points

Yikes. Larian stans steering towards being more obnoxious than acolytes of Dark Souls' Unholy Church of Git Gud.3 points

make bg3, bg2, bg1 with the iwd2 rules implementation would be something we would pay good money to see. aside, am knowing you dislike bards and perhaps if we saw bg3 implementation we would also like 'em less. however, we will observe the best bg2 stronghold quest were bard, but 'cause almost nobody played as a bard, all that content were wasted. last time we personal played a d&d bard were d20 and we thought it were fun. we also played and had fun with bard archetypes in pathfinder pnp: dwarven scholar & detective. we got good will built up for bards. converse, years o' pnp experience has resulted in our reflexive dislike o' druids, a class almost invariably played as some kinda annoying hippie wannabe or as a 20th/21st century ecoterrorist. if somebody says they is gonna play a druid as part o' a pnp group, it takes effort for us to stifle a groan. have never once seen somebody play a druid other than cliché or cartoon. drizz't mucked up the ranger class for many players, but to be fair, 2nd edition went all in on the drizz't silliness by adding dual-wield as a class feature. even so, were drow fan boys and not tsr who added lame to the class. ranger has been busted ever since 2nd edition. paladins is rare played well, but am admitting we has seen exceptions to a general trend. we ordinarily avoid druids, rangers and paladins in d&d crpgs cause o' our dislike o' how they is played in pnp... which doesn't actual make much sense. irrational doesn't change the fact we tend to avoid those three classes. HA! Good Fun!3 points

Started Stray Gods. It is semi-interactive musical, though I would not call it "Roleplaying". The VA is actually good, the lyrics vary from "There is no inertia in the ocean" to decent. The graphics and visual style consist of mostly 2D images with light animations, but it is expressive and readable. The main personality trait seems to be locked in the first song, which was not obvious and is not convenient. The game uses auto-saving into a single slot (3 slots in total).2 points

I get it, I kinda dig freckles. I wish I could manipulate my skin color like a cuttlefish.1 point

If my boy Zhu Bajie makes an appearance this will be GotY whatever year it comes out. Playable Zhu Bajie with the rake = Game of the Millenium.1 point

No, that wouldn't be fair. Each of them has multistaged companion quest, and it seemed they are tied to one major location in the world. It also seems those companion quests have branching paths, providing at least some amound of unique content pay playthrough. The stories so far, are rather predicable - you watch 1 minut origin intro during the character creation, and you probably can figure out most story beats of each companion. To me the biggest disappointment comes from how few of the companions there are, and how drastic the contrast is between first act, and... well, I won't say the rest of the game for now, but at least 2nd act. Larian promises a lot in act1, and I don't think the rest of the game quite lives up to the expectation so far.1 point

I got to the Goblin Camp, saved the Owlbear cub, got a goblin to lick my feet (thanks Tarantino), saved a guy from being tortured, did some handaxeplay, and rescued a bear. Saved the game and later tonight I'm going to finish the job in the camp, or maybe rest first. Oh and I'm at level 5 now which means 3rd level spells and extra attacks. Bard spells seem to be somewhat lacking, reduced direct damage stuff is expected but it's strange that they don't get the Haste or Dispel equivalents. Still no introduction to the guardian I made at the beginning. If I had to guess I'd say it gets introduced by a Long Rest cutscene and out of the four I've taken the Dark Urge has taken two, Astarion has sucked up one, and Karlach burned up the other. That's the battle I thought you were talking about. That damn thing loves to teleport and hit you with a very strong ranged attack. If you can't down her on the first turn I'd reccomend retreating to an area you can corner her.1 point

Probably could also get foreign volunteers if needed. Ground crew, not so much I guess.1 point

Lots of good outcomes include avoiding combat. But not as a whole up to act2, you'll be skipping a lot stuff if you absolutely avoid combat. It's a bit misleading, speed runners can reach end of act2 in 8mins, because a lot of the stuff is plain skippable.1 point

Not for me, I am very happy with the EE and old versions of BG Larian must focus on refining BG3 and maybe a definitive edition and then future development projects should be BG4 or D:OS31 point

Not a fan of this channel at all and the "headlines" on the links are just terrible, but every once in a while there's someone interesting on. This time, a psychologist makes some interesting observations concerning Russian culture. This snippet is a brief but informative summary. (Btw, I'd like to know how the Middle East fares in this discussion.)1 point

Latest two purchases would be JA3 and BG3 for me (both GOG). Started playing JA3 (and just checked that BG3 actually runs)1 point

Sounds like something for fans to do with mod tools should they ever be released, maybe with AI voice synthesis. What would Larian's influence on an already fully-written game even be? Plus, from a selfish perspective, I kind of want them to get away from D&D. No doubt it's contributed to the commercial success of the game but it's more of a good game in spite of the ruleset, not because of it.1 point

One time I cooked pineapple in butter and amaretto. Absolutely recommended that with some ice cream or brioche. They got one around here and it's not bad, but Voodoo has better donuts and Dutch Bros has better coffee. Maybe we just don't have the full Tims. I hate to admit it, but Shake Shack probably is the best overall fast food. It's also goddamn expensive, clocking in at 2x the price of other places.1 point

After few day of break, I went for more Deep Sky Derelicts. The game has due to it's nature strange difficulty spikes. Sometimes after a lot of easy-peasy encounters, you get obliterated in few rounds in the next one. Especially when you encounter Soulmorphs. I got first two station defense encounters, and the second one was really problematic to win. Definitely needed more than 5 attempts to win it. Still having fun, still feeling sometimes repetition. I have unlocked 3rd tier of derelicts and spent 22 hours with it so far.1 point

It's funny how the companions love to talk about personal and important matters with no regard to other characters right there, openly listening to everything:1 point

As one of the soldiers on the frontline said: The effectiveness of minefields, fortifications, anti-tank trenches, and similar engineering obstacles becomes significant only when they are adequately manned and remain under fire control.1 point

Now that's a surprise. Going to buy it for the collection, even if I have no wish to play it again (never finished it because story went too dumb in the end), but that also means I'm getting Starfield on GOG in 10 years or so.1 point

That's why you get games on Epic. Download speed always sucks, so you can't tell the difference.1 point

-Hey XBOXLIVELOVER69 I apologize for the deceptive water droplets you and your cohorts have been dealing with. I assure you this isn't the work of the Chaos Gods though I could see how you think it could be the work of the Tzeentch. The best way to thwart these deceptive drops of water is to submit a bug report, so that we can thoroughly investigate this issue. Obsidian Support Please include the following information: 1. Platform (Xbox Console, PC Game Pass, PC Steam). 2. Multiplayer or Single Player Game (if multiplayer, can you tell us how many players in total in the game, and their platforms if known) 3. Difficulty level 4. Description of issue. 5. Last thing you did in the game before the issue occurred, if applicable. Hopefully we can work together to defeat these deceptive droplets! Cheers!1 point

Another way how you can do good single target damage with a dumped MIG/CC focused Bloodmage is to use Concelhaut's Draining Touch and to summon Essential Phantom. It will also get the Draining Touch weapon and can attack repeatedly with it (won't go away after hit). It targets Will, it drains health for the Phantom, it does very high base damage (corrode). While the phantom hits enemies with respectable damage (for a summon) you can place your CC spells. Like Miasma (lowers Will for the Phantom like crazy). I did this with a Geomancer but it might also work well with any other low MIG Bloodmage variant.1 point

If you don't close the gap she teleports around and hits you hard with a poison attack, and I think it gives disadvantage on attack rolls to boot. Unironically I think it's the best designed fight so far. I got that scene with Wyll on my 2nd rest. I think the rests are divided into the prep and the actual rest, with different potential events for each. Wyll's event happens first, then something else can happen when you sleep.0 points

I didn't kill her in the first turn, but it wasn't that difficult since she stayed close to Karlach and died in the second turn. Btw, completely forgot about that Guardian. I think I have had two long rests so far. The first one had a cutscene of Astarion walking away and I don't wanna know what happened there. The second was about Wyll. @Bartimaeus will love it. Edit: Wyll's cutscene was tied to him meeting with Karlach while in my party and she being recruited. It might be different in other circumstances.0 points

Starfield seems to give digital premium edition buyers "up to 5 days early access". I guess this is the new standard.0 points

I posted a screenshot of him on the first page of this thread - you can judge for yourself. It would say not hot, unless you are very into aging halfings.0 points
