Pro-Russia = anti-vaxx = flat earther = Trumpist4 points

Well, this is from our former foreign minister's wedding party. I am kind of uncertain how people are surprised by these 'revelations', but some parts of the Twatter thread are (not going to speculate about whether that is intentional or not) misleading. Christian Kern, for instance, resigned his position at the board of the Russian Railways when war broke out, and the reduction in intelligence sharing goes back to an earlier point in time and was related to a hostile takeover attempt where the Nazi Freedom Party (illegally) had the police raid the intelligence service headquarter over some North Korean passports in order to install a leadership more inclined to, say, look the other way when it comes to their connections with far right neo-nazi elements. The Schengen veto has absolutely nothing to do with any Russian agenda and everything with our ridiculous chancellor trying to score brownie points with the right-wing fringes before a couple of very important elections (one of which recently happened and saw his party lose a 50% +1 majority that they have held since the end of World War Two, just to drive home in what sort of dire straits the party really is). If tihs was at all related to any Russian agenda, then Orban's vote would have been different. The spying part is, to borrow from a local idiom, an old hat that is barely worth talking about. Everyone in Vienna is a spy, and has been for two centuries now, and as the thread said, it pretty much was codified post World War Two with certain changes to our laws. It's part of the reason how and why we managed to get the Russians off our territory, and it certainly wasn't and still isn't just for the benefit of Russia. It is also missing a few details, but what can one expect from Twatter. Our politicians were also constantly lobbying to soften or even remove the EU Post-Crimean annexation sanctions. Again, this does not come as much of a surprise, as RBI (Raiffeisen Bank International) is heavily invested in Russia, and it is also heavily invested in the ÖVP*, a party that has been a part of our governmen for 40 years now and is in really, really dire need of a timeout from power. Alas, for that to happen, the centrist and left-wing elements of our political landscape would have to work with the far-right fringes, and there's a better chance of hell freezing over. Anyway, it is hard to overstate the amount of power that the RBI wields. If one is proficient enough in German they could read the Raiffeisen Black Book for a glimpse. They have an enormous amount of money invested in Russia, and act accordingly. Fun fact, the Ukraine recently put RBI board members on the sanction list, with the exception of the one board member who is actually Ukrainian (Andrii Stepanenko). Because... yeah, never mind, I think that's obvious and rather revealing. In closing, because I have no idea what caused me to write this post now that I've reached a natural ending point, there's also the issue of the conspiracy theorists and Putin apologists. Those exist, in scary numbers, and there's a massive overlap with the anti-vaxxers. The FPÖ is openly garnering their votes, and they're rapidly approaching 25% or more according to polls. Politically, this is going to be fun going foward, because our current government it too busy with keeping itself from falling apart to actually address the issues the common people are facing. In the odd case they're actually realizing that there's an issue. To quote our president with his 300k yearly pay: Just grit your teeth. That's going to help for sure. *There's an old joke. To explain, first one needs to know that the BAWAG bank was initially created by prominent members of the Socialist Party as a way for workers to have access to banking services without having to go to the bourgeoise and capitalist other banks. It was held, until a financial scandal and dire straits, by the unions and the Austrian consumer's co-operative had shares too. It is fair to say that the Socialist Party (nowadays Social-Democratic Party) once indirectly 'owned' a bank. So, what is the difference between the SPÖ and the Raiffeisen bank? Well, one's a party with a bank, and the other's a bank with a party...3 points

Well wasn't intended as a dodge, just disagreed there was an implication. But, now for an actual dodge, I should have said here as in majestic's words rather then generally - certainly can be situations where the equality is implied. Derailing is good, beats the usual crap in the Ukraine threads.2 points

look, I didn't started mixing completely unrelated topics (vax, russia) togather. If you can't see that such statement is ment to invoke relation between these two I don't know what to tell you. Its like noting that 90 percent of bankers control most of the money and most ofthe bankers are jewis. Am I trying to imply something by it or not?1 point

Buddy, noting an overlap isn't equating anything. If 75% of RPG players like vidya game romance, it doesn't mean that playing a RPG is the same thing as smashing some digital bootay after 3 conversations and you'd be dumb to think that. I don't know why you're this triggered and you should probably not get so worked up. They're also disproportionately Naruto fans, and watching Naruto is objectively the worst thing you can do.1 point

I would like to take a moment to gripe about Steam's 2-hour refund window when it comes to modern open world story rpg's, in that by the time you get past chr menu (even if you rush it/don't care), fancy game logos, long intro cutscenes, long tutorial bits (I can't even manually save yet), alter settings multiple times, restart game to make sure settings take, etc. it's going to 3+ hours or more and one sometimes gives up on the idea of a refund for that reason alone. The actual Hogwarts castle is likely going to be a performance drop for many and I think you don't reach that for a while. That gripe over...at the very start of the game, here's what I see, using 2080ti, 9900k, 32GB, no overlays except an fps counter: --during the pre-shader caching/setup whatever it is, which takes a few minutes, system ram went up to about 15GB for me, so not counting Windows maybe 12-13gb? I forgot to glance at task manager for ram usage after that. >.> ---4k, Ultra, no DLSS/scaling, no RT--- first cutscenes and area you can walk around in (not full open world yet), 35-45fps ----4k, Ultra, DLSS at Quality, no RT--- goes up to 50-60fps, DLSS to me looks noticeably softer but still all right ---1440, Ultra, no DLSS/scaling, no RT--- first cutscenes and area you can walk in, 50-60ish fps ---1440, Ultra, DLSS/Quality, no RT--- 90-110fps ...I tried reducing settings but I sort of felt like not everything was registering within game without a restart, would have spend an hour fiddling with that. But just changing one setting, like shadows, down a notch or two didn't seem to make much difference in 4k. I did try -all low- and graphically it's actually not the worst I've seen, although the fps increase didn't seem mega substantial for it. Debating whether to waste more refund window on testing.1 point

@abot is the resident expert on this build, maybe he can chime in but this is what I had picked at L20 for Hauni O Whe fight. Exact summons you want may vary based on encounter, like if you respec for Dorudugan the wurms are useless. I have 14/10/12/19/18/3 mig/con/dex/per/int/res, race probably go wood elf but not that important, white that wends Char creation: The Thunder rolled like waves on black seas, Soul Shock (or valorous echoes, or whatever) 2 Iron Will 3 Lingering Echoes 4 Gernisc Slew the Beast / Psychovampiric Shield 5 Weapon and shield style 6 Recall Agony 7 Ancient Memory / Pain Link 8 My Son Do You See... 9 Hammering Thoughts 10 Oh But Knock Not.. / Pain Block 11 ...and their screams reached the heavens 12 Bear's Fortitude 13 The Lights Danced Across the Moors / Borrowed Instinct 14 Echoing Shield 15 Farcasting 16 Quick Summoning / Disintegration 17 The Empty Soul 18 Bull's Will 19 Called to His Bidding... / Rapid Casting 20 Many Lives Pass By.. Could have tailored this even more for the HOW fight by cutting summons I don't use but all you really need is the wurm summons, buff spells and disintegrate. And like you may want to upgrade the ogres when you get the chance but most of the time you'd prefer the animated weapon summons so you can drop the ogres. Generally you want brisk recitation on and my chants look like A: Ancient Memory B: Many Lives Pass By C" Many Lives Pass By, Ancient Memory Use B most of the time, before you get that you'd use A, or if you need healing, can use C if you want a mix of healing and summons Equipment: Head: Horns of the Bleak Mother Neck: Charm of Bones Chest: Miscreant's Leather (Magnera's Chain if you expect to get hit) Rings: Voidward, Ring of the Solitary Wanderer (I was doing solo, in general you might want ring of minor protection + kuaru's ring or 2 ROMP, chameleon's ring is also decent) Feet: Bounding Boots Back: Cape of the Falling Star Hands: Gauntlets of Accuracy Waist: Upright Captain's Belt Pet: Animancy Cat Weapons: Don't much matter besides probably want Sasha's Singing Scimitar for refreshing finale, and a shield You don't really directly attack things in most cases but when you do hammering thoughts is helpful and there are a number of good ranged weapons. War Bows are good for when you need high PEN if you take that weapon modal. The Red Hand is top tier alpha strike weapon You can dump RES and CON to lesser extent because you shouldn't be getting hit much and iron will + bull's will gives you plenty of will defense1 point

Yeah, a lot of decent to good reviews of Hogwarts had me thinking I'd try to d/l and fire up the game for and hour, to at least see how it performs on my now "outdated" (haha) rig (in 4k I mean), as long as there wasn't a flood of PC-early-access reports of terrible performance issues etc. I was guessing/hoping with no RT/settings fiddling I'd still be in the realm of 50-60 fps most of the time. So I logged on a bit ago and apparently no one who bought the early-access pre-order can access. It won't unpack/start/play. Seems to be a general problem all over the world, not sure if it's 100% or 80% or whatever. Anyway ... it has nothing to do with gameplay itself but hahaha, that won't leave a good impression. Not sure what the problem/whose "fault" it is. Edit: looks like at least some people can access/play it fine. It could be mostly people who didn't buy directly from Steam, and/or something to do with preloading or not preloading.....hmm.. EditEdit: seems like unpacking is working for people now. I just started downloading because I was curious if it would start for me but I guess it will now. I'll test performance a bit on a few resolutions I guess, then wait for the Day1 patch.1 point

Twin Peaks: The Return. David Lynch said it was an 18 hour movie, so I'm posting about it here. So this is he second time I've seen this, and it's gotten better for me. Much better. If the original Twin Peaks can be seen as a vehicle for surrealism and an examination of the hidden nightmares found in America's idealized projection of itself wrapped up in a satire of soap operas and mystery series, then The Return is takes that, almost entirely peels the wrapping off, and launches in to some very strange territory. Even by Lynch standards it's a very weird movie with....you know what just watch it for yourself. It feels impossible to spoil because like the anime JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, what happens is so off the wall that accurately describing what happens would be taken by most folks as a joke. Yuge reccomend, this is a masterpiece.1 point

To be fair, every sport I've done has its share of vomiting athletes. The last 8 miles of my Ironman were spent shuffling forward with a space blanket draped around my shoulders and the occasional vomit break. Someone gave me a breathe mint before the finish line, and I'm pretty sure it was an angel. But I got a nice T-shirt at the end, so it was worth it.1 point

Not just a tiny balloon to force down…. 200feet tall and carrying equipment the size and mass of an airliner https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-64548140 Edit rather than double post: Just a personal suspicion, since it was fully operational and could navigate and move under its own power, i suspect the CCP wanted to try two things at once. Test the US response to the intrusion (to see how far they can push the envelope) and as an added bonus, take some nice, slo-mo shots of US military installations in the northwestern part of the country (as they are going to be first responders to an invasion of Taiwan) I'm sure Kim in North Korea, suddenly feeling inspired, is drooling over pictures like these (having wet dreams about giant balloons, approaching a US cities, potentially loaded with "dirty bombs")1 point

I feel your pain. Especially the older JRPGs had traumatized even such exquisite appreciator of the genre as me in their final Dungeon. On of the worst offenders for me was Final Fantasy IV and X Anyway, 1 and half year after the release, I have finally decided to boot up Tales of Arise for the first time. And so far, I am enjoying it (only 1 hour into the game). Especially the art of the game is brilliant. I have really missed something like that in all that flood of "photorealistic" games. It's really fresh breeze for me. We'll see how the game will fare further into the storyline. I have pretty high hopes for it1 point

Playing persona 4. I played it years ago and never finished... this whole time I've been thinking "how far did I get, because I everything is familiar" but I wasn't sure if I had gotten further this time around... that is until I ran into the latest boss battle... the second I fought it, the trauma came back. Now I remember why I quit... guess I'll just have to grind for a couple hours JRPGs have the most abrupt difficulty curves... usually they are stupid easy until the final gauntlet then it's like "hey you haven't been building your character enough, I know that it wasn't necessary until this exact moment, but now you better grind 10+ levels"1 point

did once. extreme meta. at launch and for sometime afterwards there were a few issues with the hand o' iomedae which am believing were bugs capable o' busting your secret end effort. you also need advance the calendar by a significant amount which has the potential to wreck your crusade morale and stats if you didn't plan ahead or resort to advancing the calendar at threshold via ad nauseum resting. etc. it is a "secret ending" so am s'posing is difficult to complain if it is ultra sensitive and easily broken. the secret ending final battle changes, so is maybe worth the effort if you have already played the game at least once and are looking for something different. if you have already done everything wotr then do secret ending is likely a way to get a bit more mileage outta the game. there is a secret ending for the treasure o' the midnight isles as well, but am believing you need do the dlc separate from the main game; could be wrong on that point as we never bothered to check. that said, is possible we give the dlc secret ending a looksee at some point... but not today, or tomorrow. HA! Good Fun!1 point

Now I feel tempted to dig out my old Commodore 64 reference manual from 1984 and take a picture of it \ Edit: Found some old Commodore books, but not the one i was looking for. I hope I still got it in a box somewhere (this is the one I'm missing from my photo https://archive.org/details/c64-programmer-ref) Edit2: Much of my early Commodore literature is in German, as the only place well stocked was a large store in Flensburg, on the other side of the border (this was when there were still physical borders)1 point

I have a hard time tossing any book/magazine now, just because it starts to reach that "do you toss an unimportant but kind of a culture relic" or maybe it's just the memory, syndrome. Luckily I did toss enough away in previous years that I don't have too many left for me to fuss over. I think I still have a book re: HTML 3, as well few other such. As well as likely outdated stuff like oversized comprehensive state city/topographical map books. I used to love maps, books, pamphlets (National Geographic used to put a lot of goods ones inside), even the ones on tourism guides. They were to me what postcards were to others.1 point

Despite it neither being isometric nor having a silent protagonist (i.e. less resources would be wasted on decreasing roleplay options in an RPG), it sounds generally fine. Console-orientated controls handle tactical combat poorly either way, and a hub has been around for some time. While the game originally seems to have MP elements, at least it is single-player now, and hopefully single-player only.1 point

Intro (Difficulty: PotD upscaled) First of all I wanted to say that my English isn´t very good. I studied it years ago, but by not using it at work or outside of it, I have lost a lot of practice. Going to the topic, for the third time I played this game, I wanted to do it with the companions that I like the most ((Edér, Hiravias, Zahua, Aloth and Sagani) and building them around the abilities/spells that I also like the most, which are the ones that cause push, prone, stun (because what better push than those that knock enemies down or stun them), and the opposite effect, pull. All companions have one of these abilities/spells: Edér: Knock Down, Into the Fray, Overbearing Guard, and Clear Out. Hiravias: Winter Wind, Overwhelming Wave, Boiling Spray, Calling the World's Maw, Cleansing Wind, Tornado, and Storm spells. Zahua: Force of Anguish, Skyward Kick and Stunning Blow. Aloth: Slicken, Pull of Eora, Concelhaut's Crushing Doom and Tayn's Chaotic Orb. Sagani & Itumaak: Takedown, Stunning Shots and Master's Call. MC Priestess of Berath: Repulsing Seal and Pillar of Faith I played as the Priestess of Berath because her favored dispositions (Rational and Stoic) fit my idea of a group made up of bounty hunters. For new players and for all those who want to read it, I'm going to put the builds of each member of this "Pull & Push party" The Front line Edér His main role is to maintain the front line and disable enemies, causing push, pull, prone and dazed. With Hold the Line, and Shatterstar his engagement range is 3, and with Overbearing Guard the enemies think twice before breaking the engagement. Knock Down and Overbearing Guard can inflict prone, Clear Out push and prone and Into the Fray, approach an enemy (pull), does piercing damage and can inflict dazed. Into the Fray is hilarious when used against a priest who just cast Consecrated Ground to hammer their face, but it can also be used in reverse, against more dangerous melee enemies, for a face to face. If Edér is well positioned, Charge is his most powerful ability. Abilities: Fighting Spirit (a) Constant Recovery (a) Second Wind (a) (Athletics) (1 p/enc.) 1) Knock Down (a) (2 p/enc.) 3) Disciplined Barrage (1 p/enc.) 5) Into the Fray (2 p/enc.) 7) Armored Grace 9) Overbearing Guard 11) Confident Aim (better than Weapon Specialization) 13) Charge (2 p/enc) 15) Clear Out (2 p/rest) Talents: 2) Hold the Line 4) Weapon & Shield Style 6) Weapon Focus: Soldier 8- Bear´s Fortitude 10) Rapid Recovery 12) Apprentice Sneak Attack 14) Body Control 16) Bonus Knock Down (1 p/enc.) Skills: 14 (12 + 2 Mantle) Survival (for +60% heling received), 6 Lore, rest to Athletics Equipment: Shatterstar (Durgan Refined, Exceptional, Corrosive Lash, Slaying (Primordial)) + Dragon's Maw Shield Tempered Helm Wayfarer´s Hide (Superb, Crush-Proofed, +2 INT) Mantle of the Excavator Siegebreaker Gauntlets Girdle of Maegfolc Might Ring of Thorns Ring of Protection Boots of Stability Quick items: Potion of Power, Scrolls of Prayer Against Fear, Scrolls of Prayer Against Restraint, Scrolls of Binding Web I have chosen Shatterstar as Edér´s weapon because it does two types of damage, because of its Guarding enchantment (+1 enemies Engaged), you can get it soon and because it was carried during Waidwen's march on the Dyrwood. The buffs from the Tempered Helm's Freedom enchantment and Wayfarer's Hide don't stack, but I still keep them because the other enchantments these items offer are very good, and also give Edér the look of sturdiness and fierceness that I was looking for him. Hiravias He´s the main damage dealer. Hiravias starts by casting his buffs (like Form of the Delemgan), then debuffs/crowd crontrol spells (Nature's Mark, later Nature's Terror), then damage spells (Storm spells, Venom Bloom) and lastly, if there's anything left alive, then shapeshifting, because I'm more interested in its AoE damage. Talents: 2) Veteran's Recovery 4) Weapon Focus Peasant 6) Two Weapon Style 8- Wildstrike Shock 10) Greater Wildstrike Shock 12) Heart of the Storm 16) Apprentice Sneak Attack 14) Savage Attack/Marksman Skills: Survival 8 (bonus to healing), Lore 10, rest to Athletics. Equipment: Rêghar Konnek + Black Sanctuary (Durgan Reinforced, Exceptional) Greenstone Staff Stag Helm Swaddling Sheet Blaidh Golan (Durgan Reinforced, Exceptional, Slash-Proffed, +2 MIG) Celebrant’s Gloves Wildstrike Belt Gwyn’s Band of Union Orlan's Bramble Ring Boots of Stability Quick items: Potion of Infuse with Vital Essence, Scrolls of Confusion, Scrolls of Paralysis, Scrolls of Maelstrom Master Spells: Nature´s Mark, Insect Swarm, Returning Storm and Form of the Delemgan For early levels Winter Wind and Firebrand are 2 great spells. Winter wind is a fast cast, only damages enemies, disables blights, slows shadow teleport, and does decent damage. Firebrand is awesome when the shapeshift duration is over, the combat is still going on, and you don't want to waste a lot of spells. With my level 3 adventurer druid, she was able to reach 72 damage attacks. I put Hiravias in the front line so I can use spells like Overwhelming Wave and Tornado without damaging my teammates. The Second Line MC Priestess of Berath Race: Human, Meadow folk Background: Aedyr - Cleric Class: Priest Stats: MIG 16, CON 08, DEX 16, PER 14, INT 16, RES 08 Built around the concept of "The Pallid Knight": human female in black armor with black hair and milk-pale skin. Talents: Dominion of the Sleepers (Watcher) (1 p/rest) Steps to the Wheel (Watcher) (1 p/rest) Speaker to the Restless (Watcher) (2 p/rest) Crucible of the Soul (Watcher) (1 p/rest) Dozen´s Luck The Merciless Hand Scale-Breaker (1 p/rest) Blooded Hunter Dungeon Delver Berath's Boon Song of the Heavens 2) Inspiring Radiance (1 p/enc.) 4) Interdiction 6) Painful Interdiction (1 p/enc.) 8- Scion of Flame 10) Veteran's Recovery 12) The Pallid Hand 14) Two-Handed Style 16) Outlander´s Frenzy (1 p/enc.)/Apprentice Sneak Attack Skills: Survival 8 (for +40% heling received), Lore 12 (Scrolls of Prayer Against Treachery and interactions), rest to Athletics Early in the game it works as a ranged priest, but once I buy the Belt of the Royal Deadfire Cannoneer I start using it in melee with Firebrand. Late game, once durganized and upgraded, I use The Hours of St. Rumbalt She will never do as much damage as with her damage spells, but still, with Two Handed Style, Champion's Boon/Minor Avatar... the damage will be acceptable, especially if it lands a crit, with the multiple crit damage modifiers (Merciless Hand, the weapon's enchantment...). And with the gloves and Outlander's Frenzy, she will attack fast enough. Equipment Nightshroud + Little Savior (Durgan Reinforced, Superb) The Hours of St. Rumbalt (Durgan Refined, Legendary, Buerning Lash) Maegfolc Skull Cape of the Master Mystic Blackwarden´s Breast (Durgan Reinforced, Superb, +2 PER) Gauntlets of Swift Action Belt of the Royal Deadfire Cannoneer Gathbin Family Signet Seal of Faith Shod-in-Faith Quick items: Potions of Deleterious Alacrity of Motion, Potions of Infuse with Vital Essence, Scrolls of Prayer Against Treachery, Scrolls of Wall of Flame, Scrolls of Insect Swarm. I've leveled Lore on the other teammates to free her from having to cast Prayer Against... except the last one, so she can go on the offensive before the fights are over. Master Spells: Blessing, Divine Mark, Dire Blessing and Devotions of the Faithful Zahua It is something similar to a glass cannon build, whose main objective is to "clean" enemies from the battlefield. Start the fight facing an enemy. While he is taking wounds, Zahua can finish him off, come to the rescue from the rear or start cleaning up the enemies disabled by Edér. In tough fights he greatly benefits from Form of the Delemgam, and Potions of Llengrath's Displaced Image or Crowns/Shields for the Faithful. Also, with Graceful Retreat, and the Form of the Delemgam bonus he gets +37 defenses on disengagement Abilities: Fighting Spirit (a) Transcendent Suffering 4 (a) Second Wind (a) (Athletics) (1 p/enc.) 1) Torment's Reach (a) 3) Swift Strikes 5) Force of Anguish 7) Stunning Blow (2 p/enc.) 9) Enervating Blows 11) Iron Wheel 13) Skyward Kick (2 p/enc.) 15) Flagellanth's Path Talents: 2) Veteran's Recovery 4) Two Weapon Style 6) Lightning Strikes 8- Heart of the Storm 10) Graceful Retreat 12) Spirit of Decay 14) Weapon Focus: Ruffian 16) Apprentice Sneak Attack Anitlei Skills: Survival 8 (bonus Heal), Lore 10, rest to Athletics Equipment Fists Bittercut (Durgan Refined, Superb, Corrosive Lash, Slaying (Beast)) * 2 (Helwax Mold) Hermit´s Hat Robe (with blood) (Durgan Reinforced, Legendary, Crush-Proofed, +2 DEX) Ruphec's Watchful Cloak MKII Mourning Gloves Belt of Bountiful Healing Pensiavi Mes Rèi Ring of Protection Boots of Speed Quick items: Flask of War Paint, Potions of Llengrath's Displaced Image, Scrolls of Confusion, Scrolls of Prayer Against Bewilderment, Scrolls of Valor The +40% healing received from the Survival bonus + 25% from the Belt of Bountiful Healing, and the passive healing from Veteran's Recovery, help Zahua stay alive throughout the fight. Ruphec's Watchful Cloak MKII is very good here because I want Zahua to take damage, but not get overwhelmed, also the +2 PER. The Rearguard Aloth I use Aloth in a similar way to Hiravias, but with the difference that Aloth is the crowd controller of the party. Aloth starts, if necessary, by casting the scrolls of Prayer against..., then he casts his buffs (Deleterious Alacrity of Motion, Eldritch Aim), if necessary some defensive spells (Llengrath's Displaced Image) and then starts with the debuffs / cc spells (Miasma, Pull of Eora, Gaze of the Adragan). Once the enemies are under afflictions, he starts casting damage spells, or I use blights with Combusting Wounds to not spend as many spell slots. Talents: 2) Weapon Focus: Noble 4) Blast 6) Penetrating Blast 8- Marksman 10) Secrets of Rime 12) Penetrating Shot 14) Dangerous Implement 16) Interrupting Blows Skills: Mechanics 13, 1 Survival, Athletics 1, rest to Stealth Equipment Golden Gaze (Exceptional, Freezing Lash, Slaying (Wilder)) Gyrd Háewanes Sténes The Witch's Hat Raiment of Wael's Eyes (Durgan Reinforced, Superb, Pierce-Proofed, +2 MIG) Lilith's Shawl Bracers of Spiritual Power Looped Rope Ring of Overseeing Telda's Ring Vietto’s Formal Footwear Quick slots: Potions of Infuse with Vital Essebce, Potions of Merciless Gaze, Scrolls of Insect Swarm, Scrolls of Prayer Against Infirmity Master Spells: Eldrich Aim, Miasma of Dull-Mindedness, Deleterious Alacrity of Motion, Pull of Eora Sagani + Itumaak The second damage dealer of the team, if you invest in Itumaak's skills and talents. Sagani always starts with Stormcaller to try to trigger Returning Storm, then switches to Persistence and activates Twinned Arrows. For enemies immune to piercing damage I keep Stormcaller up throughout the fight. To get the most out of Stalker's Link and Stunning Shots, Sagani and Itumaak should attack the same target. Abilities: Hunter's Instincts (a) Second Wind (a) (Athletics) (1 p/enc.) 1) Wounding Shot (a) (2 p/enc.) 3) Predator's Sense 5) Stalker's Link 7) Takedown (2 p/enc.) 9) Driving Flight 11) Stunning Shots 13) Twinned Arrows 15) Master´s Call (3 p/rest) Talents 2) Resilient Companion 4) Marksman 6) Vicious Companion 8- Merciless Companion 10) Brutal Takedown 12) Heart of the Storm 14) Weapon Focus Peasant 16) Apprentice Sneak Attack/Envenomed Strike (3 p/rest) Skills: Survival 10 (+15 Accuracy Bonus), Lore 10, rest to Athletics With her high base class accuracy, high dexterity, her racial bonus, Survivai bonus, Blackwarden's Breast (friendly aura) bonus, and Cloak of the Frozen Hunt bonus she will crit a lot, especially against beasts. Equipment Persistence (Durgan Refined, Superb, Shocking Lash, Slaying (Beast)) Stormcaller Helmet of Darksee Cloak of the Frozen Hunt Tundra Clothing (Legendary, Pierce-Proofed, +2 INT) Gauntlets of Swift Action/Gauntlets of Accuracy Sentinel's Girdle Bartender´s Ring Ring of Thorns Glanfathan Stalking Boots Quick items: Potion of Infuse with Vital Essence, Scrolls of Protection, Scrolls of Prayer Against Imprisonment, Scroll of Moonwell Thanks for reading!1 point

Playing through the game, while the characters are nice and all, I feel that it would be nice to be able to create my own custom character (I wanted more of a punky/unruly kid to see, which I saw on the milk carton while playing). This would help players create more of a sense of identity within the game. Seeing as the game is already full released and fleshed out, it would be hard to implement now, unless you took those incorporated characters, and made them solely for single player mode. In multiplayer it would be nice to create a more customizable character. Voicing might be a trick as well, unless they could take the existing character voice overs, and leave in the more generic lines so that the player could also pick their voice type (obviously taking out the ones that use name references in them). This would also open up the option for multiplayer to then hopefully have more than just 4 players to a server on it as well (I have more than 4 friends that I would like to be able to play with!). On a public server could you imagine there being "backyard gangs" that have rivalries with each other?!?1 point

The lighting options in the game for bases is very poor. Now that there is the Everchar Torch would it be possible to add an Everchar lamp, like ceiling lamps and standing lamps? The firefly lamps are just too dim and don't help when ceilings are higher.1 point

Please add the ability to teleport pets. Many bases are built with the idea of not allowing bugs inside of them, making pets almost entirely null if you wish to have one. I live in a base I made on the side of the big tree, it would be nice to be able to teleport a weevil or aphid up to my home and keep them safe.1 point

I felt so at first. but they are pushing it too often. They don't just let the world be what it is, they have your character - born and raised in this world - constantly reminded as if they were an astronaut in a 50s pulp magazine, landed on venus and confronted by amazons in the jungle. My hunter character who was raised by beastwomen would not need to be lectured on male inferiority in that society. No character would need to be surprised when they figure out that an npc inherited a lot of land because she was female - it would be more of a "doh! How did we miss that?" moment for them, especially an adjudicator or sage. The game world was believably created, but the player is treated as if every encounter with the gender roles in the game were their first.1 point

I would agree on other titles but I do think that the way they justify this in Tyranny is pretty solidly done (i.e. men rule the seas, women the lands, due to one's interest for conquest, exploration and expansion and the other's maternal instincts anchoring them to the "nest" so to speak). I think the line of thought here is more practical than simply "wimin are strong", and probably explains why, despite what seems like a matriarchal society, the military/conquest branches are run by men (Nerat, Ashe, Tunon).1 point

Look, I know we've had some fun here but let's not go too far. Flat earth should be left in the dustbin of history. Scientific evidence has confirmed the giant ball of ice theory.0 points

See, the beauty of wording a right proper "this should be totally against the rules" insult is in theoretically allowing the person you're talking about an opportunity to back away and not immediately prove it as being true while obviously knowing that they never will. You can call someone all sorts of nasty things straight to their face as much as you like if you make it just ever so slightly vague. I never specifically said this person is a moron...just that anybody saying the things they happen to be saying would have to be one in order to be saying those things, and that's totally different! All I did was lay out the conditions for someone to qualify as a moron, and if they decide to post right after I do while matching the exact qualifying criteria, well, that's on them and not me. I didn't make them do that, it's not my fault! Of course, it breaks down a bit when the conditions you lay out are very specific, like say...oh, I suppose I shouldn't.0 points

10 was annoying for sure. I wasn't loving the story, so it was easy for me to give up. FF8 broke me. That game was so easy, I didn't even understand the stacking magic mechanic. Then I get to the final boss and just get destroyed. Like... not even a dent.0 points
