Okay I know this is late considering the age of the games, but I didn't really get to play when they came out, I ended up with Covid and was essentially bed bound so I fired up the Xbox and messed around with game pass and I stumbled onto these games and though "oh look , it's kinda like icewind dale I loved that game as a kid..." now I'm hooked I've been running around reading everything the lore and depth of world building are amazing. The story is a slow burn that many have criticized however it feels like it was designed from the perspective of a traditional TTRPG campaign there is so much to do. I can't speak higher of these games and I can't wait to replay them with new classes as my main so I can RP different choices more in line with that character. I am now working on finding the originals in physical format on Xbox ( I purchased them on steam but I also want a physical backup incase internet is for some reason i unavailable or if I no longer pay for game pass these have become my new go to game replacing dark souls

Has anyone tried using the spell Miasma of Dull-Mindedness on an Orlan Wizard with extraordinarily high will? Based on some calculations, it should be possible with the right equipment to make it a guaranteed miss and thus self-trigger Defiant Resolve. This assumes that the Spellward amulet/starlit garb spell defense bonus works on our own spells, too, of course. Also, the wiki states that Defiant Resolve’s duration is unaffected by INT; is this true?

But ordinary average people know all about the D crazies too, who are absolutely 1:1.

It is not a 1 to 1 ratio. Maybe before Trump it was, but now it is super skewed. It doesn't help that a good chunk of moderate Republicans have been driven away from the party. My wife's family were lifelong Republicans, and now they are all independent aside from one crazy Uncle that posts conspiracy theories all the time.

^Its crazy to me that they just scoop people off the streets, hand them an AK-47 and a set of fatigues, and dump them on the front line. I mean jeez, at least send them through some form of a truncated basic training. Conscripts will never be a match for a professional army (unless you have a Billion to bumrush with) but this is just a meatgrinder.

I'm feeling bad for every soldier that gets taken out by a drone grenade. Even worse are the ones who get multiple dropped on them before they die. I think it's terrible to watch, and we're all getting desensitized from seeing this. Also, every time I see people making fun of the targets I'm cringing hard. Doesn't matter if they are russian or ukraine soldiers, it's just not a good look. I really don't want people to die like this ... but on the other hand, russia could just f-off and finally leave, and all of this would end.

The complaints, I suspect, were a mix of concerns, some valid, some... well... The show has a female lead and a lot of overtly feminist messaging. The MCU has a largely male audience, many of whom also got very mad when Brie Larson noted that the media at a junket were overwhelmingly white men, and suggested it would be nice if women or people of colour were also afforded opportunities in that space. The show has a very different tone and structure to a lot of the MCU. It is, as Jen puts it, a fun comedy lawyer show, and some members of the fanbase would prefer it not to be. I think some people were put off by what they saw as disjointed continuity, by the fourth wall breaking humour, and by the last episode maybe doing a bit too much. I didn't have a problem with any of these complaints, but I don't fault people for having them, whereas I definitely fault people for having the other complaints.

It only affects ending slides for your companions but it is required for the full secret ending unless you're playing Trickster or Demon. If you want to do that, then keep that in mind, or suffer through Enigma. Again. For most regular party setups, Nenio is hard to drop, there aren't many arcane casters in the companion lineup. Sure, Ember is a staple for virtually every party, no matter if you make her a Hellfire Raylgun (I am so not sorry for that pun), or an enchanter/summoner Ember. Some manner of arcane control and blasting is too good to pass up, so unless you're playing an arcane caster MC (so, in essence, a Lich making use of the merged spellbook) you might want to keep her around - or hire a merc.

Ender Lilies. I've defeated Guardian Silva and the MC has sprouted tentacles. Alas, they did not seem to do anything. Also a ghost that appeared after the battle told that we were the chosen ones. Trying to find the right (possible to progress) path is becoming increasingly difficult, partially because I can't remember which uncompleted location requires what power, partially because I occasionally cannot tell if I am doing something wrong or I miss the ability that is required to proceed. The opponents have become quite deadly, though packs of rats proved to be the most dangerous due to the MC taking damage upon stepping onto an enemy. @KeyrockThanks for the review.

So, I'm sure most of you, have died in Grounded for one reason or another. This is the story of how I beat the desert, and heat stroke/antlion combos that lead me to this creation. I played vanilla, way back in the beginning. Then took a long hiatus after slightly burning myself out, and, doing all that could be achieved. So when I came back and saw all the amazing new content, I was naturally eager to witness every new biome. I had no idea what was in store for me, the first time I was in the sandpit. It was night time, and I decided I wanted to check out this new place. After building a fairly rickety bridge up(cause I didn't know how to get in at the time) I saw the expansive desert. Began with just running forward, murdered shortly there after, by an antlion. Day time starts to break, I think to myself it's unfortunate, but it wasn't that bad.... Just have to get my gear back. Then I'd armor up and smash some bugs. Slight hitch in that plan. I was not aware of the scorching sun affect. It was an eye opener to say the least. Didn't see the warnings on the screen until it was to late. Died again. This cycle repeated for a while. Then, I got an idea, so crazy...that it just might work! I set out, to put a tarp, over the entire desert biome. After an absolutely ridiculous amount of time, materials, pallet building, chest building, and sooooo many stems and clovers later. I succeeded at doing just that, I beat the desert. Sadly all the pictures I have are more than 507kb. If/when I can figure pictures, out I will post those as well. In the mean time, keep making/playing this awesome game!

If I had 20 million dollars to burn I would give it to Obsidian to make POE3 ... merry x-mas !!
