Ok this is my first time posting here, im not that good in english, but ill try my best.. First of all im kinda bit disappointed about the latest update, 11.2 and 11.3, but atleast they fix the thistle needles and the sounds.. I've already send them video proving this through email since 11.1 but no response i doubt they even care reviewing it. My no.1 problem here is they need to fix the Grass regrowing to your base after cutting all of it, also some sprigs grow back too underneath foundations clay/peblets. Sometimes when you hit them it just disappears.. Sometimes when placing a roof, like when i place a blueprint to the right and press E to rotate it for the left, it change to another type of roof... From "ROOF SQUARED CORNER" To "ROOF CORNER" when pressing E/Q or rotate... Maybe some of you notice that when you build your base near dandelion or husky weed, they wont regrow back after like ingame week.. Same also with grass sometimes.. Another one is when you build something like the foundation/walls/etc, those who can be repaired? After you build them it shows that its already damage, just one hit it breaks.. specially when reloading the saved files Speaking of... Repair tool, even if the broken building is already fixed, when you press the left mouse, it goes back to 100% damages.. Like going into loop repairing it.. This next one is the problem since V 10.0, why cant you give us a fair billy hog nugget, and apple? That Huge ass billy hog and we only get 2pcs of it? Come on!! This one also anoying too...how come the ants and spiders now able to open the damn door? , if the cant open it, it just get distroyed even they are just walkin to it.. Last one is the SCA.B, its normal that when it detects some raw science or a field stations, it pops up right? But now after the update, it stays that way even i walked away from the detected raw science or field station.. It took a while before they go back down.. I dont care about the sound glitch or sound bugs, insects get stuck or anythng but please atleast prioritized these because it ruins the fun, most fun about this game for Me is building your base, farming and expressing your idea how you work hard to make your base beautiful or how creative you are, but these things tht i mention ruined it... There people posting about it either why cant you guys fixed it too? rather than fixing first those not mentioned by many.. I hope to see these fixed soon, thank you for this amazing game of yours.. I'll surely post here again if i found more2 points

Thank you for feedback guys One thing is theory-crafting, and another actually playing through) In theory getting 6 focus per second is not much. It would take 37s to get to 220 focus; and Ascendant can be faster than that. But Psion generates focus even when casting or idling; which is doubly effective when multi-classed with another caster. And he can do that without investing much in MIG and DEX. For a ranged psion there is indeed no much difference. For a melee though... I wonder if it's worth increasing the length of focus generation pause a little bit (on getting crit) ------------- ------------- 19 stacks of Relentless feels a bit too much to me)2 points

Or, you know, you could just give up on the bad analogy. As I also said before, it's a bit of a moot point. Very few people are in a position to be worried about capital gains taxes on their stocks. Young people can't afford stocks or houses right now, so it is hard to drum up any sympathy when Elon Musk complains about this stuff. In your scenario the asset went up 70% in 2 days. How many people have enough of a stock for that to actually make a difference? These are 1 percenter problems. I don't think there is a soul here that needs to stress it.2 points

yeah, for general purpose druid-ing, lifegiver is a pretty safe and strong choice, but i wouldn't go so far as to call it the "correct" choice. everyone but fury also function pretty well as an all-purpose good druid selection, their respective downsides are pretty narrow too.2 points

My game just updated again ... Yay! The thistles came back for me this morning (I ran all over & grabbed a ton, just in case) and now the huge piles of cut down grass & weed stems (not stored on pallets) that were not de-spawning around my main base are gone! Much neater! Have not yet seen if the cut-down grass has stopped re-growing inside the buildings after having been fully cut down. Hopefully has also been fixed. Played WAY too much today - enjoying the game again, now that I'm getting the hang of the new gear and figuring out tactics ... it's still a lot of fighting, but at least I'm not dying every two minutes! -- Thanks!2 points

I'm not sure how fast the decay is. Armor & a few weapons that I had stored before the update seemed to be degraded quite a bit on start-up -- but newer items I've made aren't losing stats that quickly. Tried to find a chart or more info on this, without much luck. It was a little discouraging when I first saw what had happened. I tend to be both proactive and a little bit of a hoarder (in Real Life too) so I have many, many chests full "just in case", may change my strategy a bit now. Hang in there -- they've already fixed some things that were messed up (like the missing thistles and the non-despawning grass piles). It's clear that the Grounded team takes community input & concerns seriously & I definitely appreciate that!2 points

I was sceptic when the Psion was released because I thought the focus generation was too slow (didn't realize it scales with Power Level back then). Now - at least with the Community Patch - it honestly felt too strong, haha. I only ran out of focus when I cast Time Siphon on 4+ enemies - because then my action speed was so high that I could spam Puppet Master more quickly than focus came in. Of course I could have spammed more costly powers - but this apporach was so effective that I hardly did anything else. As Multiclass (for example Psion/Troubadour) you can even alternate between resources which would lead to even more focus to use (also did that some while ago). I don't know if the original mechanic would have felt any different though. A defensively skilled "ranged" character who dominates everything that comes too near (and then the rest) hardly takes any damage in the first place. I wouldn't say cheesy. The CP solution is maybe just a bit too good - at least with my latest character configuration.2 points

Just realized that the new black ant armor and single-handed sword I made has deteriorated to half health while just chilling in a chest, waiting to be used. They haven't even seen battle yet. Then, I check my other gear and found they are also deteriorating. Soooo......glitch? Another update oops? Or is this gonna be a thing? Please help. I can't play the game until this is resolved. Running around the yard while carrying every piece of hard earned equipment in my backpack is exhausting. What's a Lady to do?1 point

Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha A's, Episode 5. This one borrows a trick from a very old playbook. Nanoha and Fate are winning until a masked man shows up and helps the Belkan Knights escape. Not sure why Tuxedo Mask is fighting on the bad guy's side, but he told Chrono that he's doing to right thing. Sure, why not. Hayate isn't just paralyzed, she has some sort of degenerative neuroligical condition. Not sure why interdimensional mages with access to more developed planets would let that be treated on Earth, but hey, maybe Hayate was a normal girl until the Book of Darkness showed up. Hayate doesn't seem to be aware of her friends... occupation, at least, which is pretty odd when they all consider her their leader, master, or whatever. True to form, with much of the episode dedicated to action, it was much less interesting than the two before. Fixed that for you.1 point

Dropkick on my Devil!, Episode 4. This keeps on being an wonderful mix of absurdist moments, fourth wall breaking jokes and absolutely fantastic, if totally dysfunctional, character moments between Medusa and Jashin. Medusa wearing a paper bag when outside also never fails to make me laugh. If there's one thing to complain about so far is that the show doesn't do too much with Pekola and Minos. Yet, maybe, but there are only eight episodes left and Medusa and Jashin have gotten the majority of interactions so far. For the record, this has three and a half stars on Prime Video, while Lady Asuka has a straight five star rating. Also managed to get another Steins;Gate episode in, and... Steins;Gate is also really getting on my nerves with character fates being fixed moments in time and the timelines correcting itself so they die when they're meant to.1 point

another example o' form following function. if you don't win the housing lottery as a ucsb student, you need find non-university housing. Must UCSB Students Live in Their Cars? result is proposed housing which looks very institutional, yes? is just no acreage to build a sprawling housing development on campus, so you get a design stressing efficient use o' space. edit: am gonna admit to being disappointed in the UC system. munger hall is most definite not an enlightened or creative solution to a persistent problem. design choice is also a teaching opportunity. the chosen solution is barely deserving a passing grade as only minimum requirements is met w/o anything innovative or unique being contributed. HA! Good Fun!1 point

This underlined part is exactly what I didn't really grasp until I played my first Psion for a longer time: that Soul Mind even generates focus while you are spending it. Some powers take some time to cast. The longer the casting time for a normal Cipher the worse. For a Psion it's no problem because focus is just flowing in. I totally underestimated how big of an advantage this is. As I said: as long as my casting speed isn't too high I cannot spend the focus fast enough even as an SC Psion (if not using high Power Level spells all the time).1 point

What if we added an area in the game where it's always dark. For example underneath the shed or porch. We could call it the darks zone. This area would always be ways be dark and the only way to see where you are goingis would be with a light source. This area would be covered in the hazes glowing fauna and would have many Dangerous bugs/infected bugs wandering in the dark, Such an area would be great for for the adding of the infected wolf spiders and orb weavers. Remain in the dark for too long and you'll freeze, This is why a light source would be Crucial, becuase light or glowing fauna would be a Crucial sorce of warmth up and till the point you make an armore to endure the area. So what happen if an infected nat comes along and nocks your torch out of you hand? This could be problematic!1 point

Ah....the joys and frustrations of a new update! Here's my priority list of fixes. 1. Now that the sound of a falling shovel has been fixed, can we please cancel the opening Crack-Rumble-Thud each and every time we enter the game. That would be lovely. 2. Deteriorating health of all armor, weapons and gear not worn or in inventory. If they are in a chest or mounted on walls or displayed on an armor dummy, the health meter for those items are falling at an alarming rate. Priority Fix please. 3. Opening doors? Oh, no......!!! So spiders can now climb stairs? Brilliant! But I draw the line when it comes to opening doors and gates without permission. Now that is just plain rude. Please help. Poor George---my wolf spider friend---got out of his lovely den yesterday, went on a walk-about only to return to find the open gates closed tight. He was so sad. And he gets cranky when he doesn't get his three day nap. 4. Monster Grass re-spawning way too often and into/through surfaces. Yep. Cut one blade down. Uproot it. And by the time you've finished clearing your space, you turn around and face-plant into the same blade once again. Not only that....but three of his cousins have returned as well. Down! Bad Grass! 5. And lastly.....The ghost door in my castle. I know it's Halloween. But really? I just opened you a moment ago, facing outward. Now the curved mushroom brick half door has changed position, opening inward. Hmmmmm.......is that how George is getting out? Curved doors? Spooky!1 point

Good point, I didn't consider that! A closer look: Wilting Wind should be ok for Zanhdethus. Jernaugh's Equalizing Burst is a Transmutation spell, so imo we shouldn't have to accomodate their grimoire for Enchanters anyways. Bekerna's grimoires (though containing four spells unavailable for enchanters) are the most Enchanting-heavy grimoires in the game, at 10 enchanting spells each. I still think WoMC is the PL8 spell that is least out of character for Bekarna, but I absolutely see the case for Caedebald. It's almost chilling how well Freezing Rake fits Ninagauth's ice theme. His grimoire doesn't contain a single Enchanting spell apart from Major Grimoire Imprint, so here I would argue that thematic consistency should take precedence.1 point

It seems to happen every time a game is loaded. I tried to put weapons and armor in a chest, save, quit and load back. They all lost 50% durability. Sometime, loading back gives back this items full health... Since high level armors and weapon take so much effort (especially in max difficulty) to craft and repair, i'd say it's a major issue and should be corrected in the next patch... (this bug is in the game since a few months now...)1 point

Note that Lifegivers, while getting +5 PL for rejuvenation spells while shifted, also lose that bonus after shifting and then even suffer -5 PL for those spells. It's not like Before: 5, while shifted 10, after shift 5 more like 5, 10, 0. So you have to make the right decision when to shift. The Powel Level malus will apply to all rejuvenation spell which are still running once you shift back to kith form. For example a Moonwell that is still active while you shift back will instantly lose some of its healing power (its healing ticks will be lower). Lifegivers get +2 to rejuvenation as fixed bonus to begin with though, so the -5 PL end up being "real" -3 compared to the other druid subclasses though. So it's not too bad even if you mess up the timing with your spiritshift. Maybe the assessment of the summons came over wrongly. Generally speaking summons are always very impactful. Even the bad ones often have more impact than a different spell that is considered to be great with what it is supposed to do. Summons need no stats and power level, they just scale with char level. And you are putting an additional body on the field - it is working as a "walking crowd control effect" at least, just by being there. Like adding a sixth party member that takes hits. When comparing it to other spell effects, it's a bit like casting a spell that prevents damage or getting hit by afflictions. And that's the least it can do. Some can even do good damage or CC by themselves. That's why summons are always, by design, very good compared to most other spells. You need no accuracy, no might, no nothing butbm INT to produce a long lasting effect that gives protection and sometimes even offense. You will need less healing, less countermeasures to afflictions etc. when summons are on the field. So, any summon spell you take is never wasted imo. Now, there are summon spells that are (way) better than others. Because they not only take away attention from your party but can truly deliver more to combat. Sporelings and Primordials are such summons. They are very good - compared to other summoning spells the druid has. If you don't want to use "bad" summons - while bad just means they are worse than some other summons, not that they are bad compared to all other spells - I can understand that. Summons - at least to me - are a pretty unfun concept. They add micromanagement and can make you feel that the star of the show is not your char but his critters. Also it sometimes gets pretty crowded. So I make sure that if I use summons they better be especially cool or effective summons that are more fun to use than the standard minor blight decoy. But as a rule of thumb: you will never waste a spell with a summon when it's about efficiency of spell uses imo.1 point

I didn’t notice this, probably because I never put my armors and tools into chests. I have all the armors on Armor Dummies and the tools on the Wall Mounts. But I should probably check the rotten armors and tools, those are in a chest. Hopefully this is fixed soon, along with food losing half it’s timer whenever I exit and start my world at a later time.1 point

we have something similar in the US. assets held less than a year get a different rate... get same rate/brackets as ordinary income--10%/12%/22%/24%/32%/35%/37%. keep in mind, this is just fed. states, many states, also tax income and capital gains. fed capital gains rate in the US for long-term assets, particular for wealthy, is gonna be far lower than income tax rate. rates for capital gains, based on income, is 0%/15%/20% with an additional bump for ultra-wealthy in certain situations. the anecdote 'bout warren buffet paying less than his secretary is incredible misunderstood and often misrepresented. when obama made the observation, he specific pointed out that buffet's functional tax RATE were lower than the secretary and not that mr. buffet were paying less tax. as the vast majority o' mr. buffet's taxes were being paid on capital gains and not income, his overall rate were lower than his secretary's. as for homes, personal residences get special capital gains exceptions, but is a five year minimum o' ownership and need have actual lived in the home at least two of five years preceding the sale o' the asset. btw, and not directed @Gorthfairness is also a landmine concept when it comes to taxes. most americans, by a huge majority, believe rich people ain't paying enough taxes. the thing is, when same people is asked what is a max fair tax rate, the problem is those same americans also overwhelming agree rich people is paying too much. 'tween state and fed, people in higher tax states such as ny and ca is paying above 50% for highest rate. americans near universal agree that nobody should pay 50% o' their earning to the government, but that already happens in many states. HA! Good Fun! ps additional observation regarding property taxes. this year am paying $75.12 more in property tax on our personal residence compared to last year. *insert an expression of feigned rage in this spot* am knowing this 'cause am s'posed to pay by nov 1, 2021 though is no penalty if we pay by dec 10, 2021, which is just odd. anyways, given how crazy is the housing market, the value o' our home increased by more than $100k since last tax year.1 point

After the the update on the 20th. My xbox one s crashes most ove the time I get a video card texture error. It happens in multi-player all the time. I have never had this issue before. Hopefully there is a fix. I have been in my game for 280 days game time and would hate to start over1 point

Thanks, friends. I was a bit worried about this. Put a lot of time and effort into the game since the update. Don't want to loose all my progress because of this new glitch. I appreciate the input. I'm sad the summons don't seem to be that great. Oozes and Sporelings are nice but that's quite a few wasted spell slots. Lifegiver seems too much like the "correct" subclass. Its bonuses are so strong - gives all utility spells, and removes access to some mediocre spells, so remaining spell selection seems very straightforward. It really just seems like the other subclasses' bonuses aren't equal.1 point

Have you noticed that when you build too close to weed stems, they refuse to re-grow? Or happen to build a zip line that crosses the top of a weed stem that was cut just before, it doesn't come back as well? Would be nice if grass behaved the same way. Just a thought.1 point

Thanks @MaxQuest for the explanation! Then I think I understand what's going on in my case: When you have a Confused character casting an Imprint spell out of combat on a hireling, combat never starts or ends. So the SpellSteal statusEffect on your hireling is never checked and never clears, and you keep the stolen spell without having to switch grimoires.1 point
