  1. I survived my 8-day family trip to Vegas. One neat side effect is my son came home wanting to play Fallout: NV after I spent the whole trip pointing out landmarks to him.

  2. There's a prequel OVA released a decade later, and Forever is in that OVA. He gets sliced in half by Silver Chariot instead of beaten to death by Star Platinum. @Bartimaeus No peeking Majestic!

  4. Transcendant has insane synergies with monk +10 Int boost, bonus Might, Dex, Pen. Also attack chains from Swift Flurry & Heartbeat Drumming are insane. Eventually can stay at midrange using Instruments of Pain to use melee attacks at range. I also prefer the Ascendant, some aoe attacks/weapon abilities will rack enough Focus to cause instant Ascension. Such as Kitchen Stove blunderbuss Thunderous Report... or Seeker's Fang rapier Spider's Flurry - the latter with enough targets in cone. Or maybe dual aoe hand mortar blasts... and various other aoe weapon attacks. Forbidden Fist monk is great, particularly if you use the Community Patch. Otherwise his Forbidden Fist special is not considered a weapon attack and doesn't generate Focus. Still denying the enemies the ability to heal/regenerate AND greatly extending negative effects you inflict on them is awesome. Plus they tend to be more durable then the average monk. Otherwise Helwalker monk is great, but quite squishy.

  5. Maybe it was just the kids who gained vast knowledge from all of the skillbooks you left for them in the library. You probably have raised next omnipotent stealthy leader of the Thieves Guild or powerful Lich Illusionist. Great Knowledge can be very dangerous if taught without proper supervision!

  7. Hi all, hope you enjoy this list. I'm sure others have requested these but either way, I'm sure to have a unique perspective and spin on these creatures. 1. Snail. Upon seeing a snail shell today, myself and the group I play with were surprised when we couldn't bash the shell apart... to which we came up with an idea for a snail to be in the game. The idea is simple, snails come in a few places, roam around and leave their goo trails as a way to hunt them. When attacked, they retreat into their shells. Poison and Gas arrows would be an effective method to kill the creatures. Upon death, they can drop Snail Meat which can be roasted or turned to jerky, Snail Antennae, which can be used in crafting as well as breaking their shells, will drop "Snail Shell Fragment" and using the two crafting materials, the Tier IV heavy armor "Snail Mail Armor" can be crafted. Snail Shells around the map would also be breakable for the fragments. 2. Recluse Spider. These spiders are smaller than Wolf Spiders and Orb Weavers but more deadly. Their brown translucent color allows them to hide bark, or dry grass, so having them spawn around the edges of the Haze or up near the Oak Tree would be a smart idea as well as a few sneaky ones in the Hedge. These spiders should deal more damage than a Wolf Spider but also have slightly less health but more speed to keep them manageable in a fight. Killing a Recluse Spider should grant Tier III medium armor "Spider Garb" for crafting, using Recluse Venom and Recluse Fangs as well as regular Spider Parts as drops. 3. Black Widow Spider. Yes, I do love my spiders. As an Australian, the Black Widow is the closest thing to the national Red Back spider and due to their close similarities, I'd love to see it. About the same size as a Diving Bell, these super deadly spiders would be the scariest second only to the Broodmother. Black Widows would be located along the Shed when added as well as in and around the Hedge and even under the decking near the Paint can and Swamp. Black Widow spiders should one shot anything less than Tier III Heavy Armor and should be treated as a genuine threat unless players are trying to find one when aptly equipped. Killing a Black Widow would drop "Widow Venom" for a Tier III poison Arrow (Tier II will be covered here) and also will drop "Widow Fang" used in a Tier 4 dagger as well as spider parts. 4. Tarantula Hawk. A wasp found in North America, they hang around where large spiders like trap doors, bird eaters and other spiders of the Tarantula family can be found. Best spawns for these flying menaces would be around the Oak Tree, Hedge and near the Swamp. While these flying killers wont outright attack players passing by, like Mosquitos or Bombardier Beetles, they will pose equal threat and not only will they try to health drain players but their immense poison will deal some serious damage. Killing one would give "Hawk Poison Gland" and "Tarantula Hawk Parts". The glad is used in Tier II Poison Arrows while the parts are used in Tier III tools and other furniture like couches or tables. 5. Tarantula. Last spider on the this list... I promise. How could I add a wasp that kills big spiders and not have a worthy opponent? Replacing the Wolf Spider spawn under the Oak Tree, this colossal spider sleeps during the day and roams the night looking for Orb Weavers, Ladybugs and other medium sized bugs to eat. Being harassed by the Hawks is a giveaway to the player that these monster spiders are nearby and while the Tarantula isnt threatened by the player, it will definitely still attack. The Tarantula has the most health of any spider and should be perceived as a mini boss. Another creature in this list will offer parts for "bear traps" that will be usable against these spiders to hold them down. Killing a Tarantula would be no easy feat, such is the height risk offers a high reward; Tarantula Legs, Tarantula Fang, Tarantula Fuzz, Spider Parts and Tarantula Eyes are dropped when the beast is killed allowing for some new crafts; Tarantula Legs can be used for a Tier III sword, while Tarantula Fang will be one of many components in the Tier III Crossbow and Tarantula Fuzz will be used in various building materials as well as a night vision hat with the Eyes. With that wrapping up the first half, I also wanted to add some items to the game that wont rely on my creatures here and would use parts already in game from Crow Feather to Berry Leather; Automatic Crossbow, Catapult, Sticky Grendes, Explosive Arrows, Acid Arrows, Glowing Arrows, Glowsticks, Saw, Sickle, Pike, Dart Tube, Throwing Knife/Daggers and Weavil Chitin Armor. Hope you liked them, back to the final 5 creatures; 6. Field Mice. Mice are a general nuisance but esp so for insects. Ant holes get invaded by these furry pests quite often and even Waso nests get raised to mixed results. A few mice scurrying around wouldn't be directly killable by the players, bit perhaps some mechanic to see Tarantulas or the Crow stun these long enough for use to kill them, or perhaps they could do the job for us by players luring mice to their Doom? Mice would drop "Mouse Tail", "Mouse Tooth" and "Mouse Fur" for a Tier IV Light Armor called "Mouse Cloth Armor". On top of this, Mouse Fur could be used in a Spinning Wheel to make Mouse Cotton. Mouse Tooth would be used to make a "Mouse Trap" which would be a bear trap of sorts. 7. Sparrow. Sparrows are notorious for eating insects from ants to bees to small spiders. Having one or two sitting around, coming down to the ground and pecking around, killing ants ants and other bugs would be handy... but scary as we would be prey to such a bird... Like the Crow, feathers can randomly drop for us to harvest. This time using Tier III Hatchets instead. Also, every now and then a dead Sparrow could be found somewhere which would allow players to harvest feathers right from it while also taking "Sparrow Beak" off of it. Sparrow Feathers would be used to create a wingsuit. Yes, a wingsuit. Perfect for freefalling from the Hedge. The Beak however would be used in the Tier III medium armor, Sparrow Armor and also for Tier IV tools. 8. Dragonfly. Located at the Pond mostly these flying bugs would be both passive and a threat. Killing one would be no harder than a Mosquito but its rapid speed might catch some off guard. Killing drops; Dargonfly Wings, Dragonfly Parts and Dragonfly Head. Head and Parts will be used in a medium Tier III Armor Set called "Dragon Armor" The wings are used to craft windows. 9. Termite. Also called White Ants, these pests are invaders of homes. Natural enemies of Ants, Wasps and Spiders they eat their way into everything and spread rapidly. Location would be inside the Abandoned Anthill at the Oak Tree and this tunnel network would be filled with both Soldier Termites and Termites. They are bright white and dirty looking. Basic termites are 3 times larger than Worker Ants. Finding these outside the anthill will be rare bit inside would be a very scary and overwhelming fight. Killing these bugs drops "Termite Parts, Termite Mandibles and Termite Head". Termite Parts are used in some Tier IV tools while Termite Mandibles is used in a Tier III Spear and a Tier IV "mace". Termite Head and Parts will be used to make a Tier IV Termite Armor set. 10. Praying Mantis. This one was the original of my concepts and ideas and wishes and if any one has to make its it's this one. Many other creatures almost made the list like Assassin Bugs, Wheel Bugs, Caterpillars and Moths, Butterfiles and even ****roaches... but the Praying Mantis will see the end of this list. Praying Mantis are super fast, super strong and would be a glorified boss fight in game. Would be located in the sense grass areas and would move around a little but generally lay and wait near the grass. Their bright green color would make them hard to spot and for the poor souls that do, they should be Ill prepared... Praying Mantis should one shot anything wearing less than Tier III heavy armor and should be considered an absolute threat to even the most well equipped survivors. Drops from this would be; "Mantis Leg", "Mantis Venom", "Mantis Mandibles" and "Mantis Chitin" as well as "Mantis Parts". Mantis Parts would be used in the creation of all "Mantis" gear. Leg, Mandible and Chitin would be used to create the Tier V Medium Armor; "Mantis Plate Armor" and the Mantis Venom would be used to create Tier IV "Mantis Dagger" and "Poison Grenade". All creatures would have "stuffed buildables" using their parts and possibly other things could be added from a person or even developers with more time and love to give. These creatures would make the game feel 10x more scary, fun and and stressful and will surely be a great way to expand the game. Thanks for reading and apologies for any spelling errors etc you may have encountered.

  8. Ive been racking my brain to come up with this hefty list of ideas that I’d love to see in the game at some point P.S. Im sure a lot of this stuffs been suggested already Biomes • Air Conditioner - An industrial area filled with hazards such as loose wiring and coolant leaks, could be a start to simple electrical builds for your base • Blanket - An infested blanket near the side of the house that acts as a hive for bed bugs. Has maze like tunnels dug into it and adds Cotten or fabric as a new material that can be used to make flags • Cooler - An option for a snowy biome, the cooler would give you access to frozen food and chunks of ice which could make a primitive fridge to store and preserve meat. Could also help introduce temperature as a game mechanic as well as winter clothing made of fur or fuzz • Dirt/Mud Pit - A dry empty pit of dirt with some tunnels In and around it. Turns into a muddy swamp when it rains (hint hint) that makes it hard to move through and adds quicksand-like holes of mud which you’d need to craft stilts or maybe “mud” shoes to get across safely • Drain Gutter - I’ll be honest don’t really have any ideas for this one other than I think it’d be a cool area too explore • Fire Pit - A barren ashy area that adds some new items like marshmallows, chicken bones (Bone Armor, bone sword), charcoal which could make black dye and lighter fluid (used to make flaming arrows and maybe even a miniature flamethrower) • Flower Garden - A large flower garden that acts as a dense jungle, has many types of exotic flowers and plants in it that can be used for different purposes (food, floral extracts for various uses, dyes, spores and seeds etc.) also has Venus flytraps that snap at you if you get too close • Log Pile - A pile of logs which leads into a maze of trenches filled with insects and other dangers. This area adds moss as a material that can be made into a moss rug • Oak Tree - My idea is to make bark beetle tunnels that move throughout the whole tree that lead to different spots such as out onto the branches, a chipmunk den and a birds nest • Plant Pot - Instead of adding a big vegetable garden (like I was gonna put on this list) why not have some pots on the porch or somewhere in the yard that have stuff like tomatoes or cucumbers growing in them • Rock Pile - Not sure what purpose this would have being in a backyard but a rocky kind of area to function as a mountain biome, could have multiple caves and introduce new types of stones for use in building (Could also be a reason for a forge to be added). Another idea is to add small chunks of amethyst or quartz which could be used to make weapons or decorations • Shed - The inside area of the shed, has a table that requires some platforming to get on top of. Has some valuable items to collect for crafting (admittedly can’t think of any) also has mouse traps set up inside (some of them are unavoidable if you want to progress) • Trash Can - Two trash cans one standing and one knocked over, the standing trash can would have a small hole in the side that gives access to the dark interior which is a dangerous labyrinth of trash and scavengers. The knocked over trash I imagine would look like a scrapyard of garbage with various insects and other animals roaming around. This area has all sorts of goods to scavenge like glass shards (spyglass potential), old food and other valuable crafting materials, plus it could help to explain why there’s so much garbage lying around the yard • Underneath - The area under the porch, almost completely dark except for some glowing mushrooms and rays of light shining through the boards. This biome acts as a massive dark dungeon with lots of paths, tunnels and somewhat open areas • Waterfall - A fake waterfall beside the pond with a hidden entrance behind it that could lead to a new lab or a cache of loot Creatures • Antlions - Form pitfall traps in the sandbox, when killed drops antlion mandibles, and antlion venom (can be made into paralyzing arrows) • Armyworms - Aggressive spiny worms found in the oak tree, hedge and log pile • Assassin Bug - Potential boss for the flower garden drops a large proboscis and parts for armor • Bagworm - Found all over the yard hanging from things, different variations depending on the environment with there shells being made of all kinds of materials that can either be harvested or used as decoration • Bark Beetle - Found throughout the tunnels in the oak tree passive until attacked • Bat - Found flying around at night • Bed Bug - Found in the blanket dungeon in large numbers, extremely territorial and aggressive • Black Ants - Have a sort of war going on with the red ants and will attack them and there nest periodically (and vice versa) • Black Widow - Possible boss for the shed drops potent venom, fangs and bug parts used for armor • Butterflies - Found flying all over the yard typically near flowers, butterfly wings can be used to make gliders • Camel Spider - Found in the sandbox, hidden under rocks or in shady areas, there aggressive and drop large fangs and fuzz • Caterpillar - Found all over the yard eating leafs and plants, can be killed for meat and silk • Centipede - Boss for the log pile, drops mandibles, venom and parts • Chinch Bug - Small bugs found attached to grass pieces can be killed for meat • Chipmunk - Small mini boss found in a hollowed hole in the oak tree, can’t be killed but can be stunned and hurt, drops fur tufts if attacked enough but the main goal is to sneak by it to obtain a cache of loot it’s guarding • Cicada - Found buried in certain areas in the yard, once a week will emerge from its spot and move around. If you get too close it’ll start making a loud buzzing sound that disorients your vision and makes you wobbly. Drops parts that can be used to make a tool that causes disorientation in other insects, need moss earplugs to negate the effect • Cocoons - Found hanging in the hedge and flower garden, can be harvested for silk • Crayfish - Found in small caves on the side of the pond if you get too close it’ll spring out and grab you pulling you inside the cave, drops crayfish claws and meat • Cucumber Beetle - Found in the plant pots they cause the crops to wilt if too many gather on one, kill them to prevent the crops from dying • Daddy Longlegs - Passive bugs found around the yard • Dragonfly/Nymph - Dragonfly’s are found flying all over the yard and there nymphs can be found in the pond attached to reeds, when killed drops wings and eye lens (used to make flying goggles) nymphs drop meat. Dragonfly’s will relentlessly attack any mosquitoes they come across • Dung Beetle - Found in hollowed out pieces of crap passive unless attacked, can steal the “crap balls” that they roll and use them as fertilizer for a garden • Earth Worm - Only appears in the dirt/mud pit when it rains can be killed for meat and used to craft bait for use with the mole • Earwig - Found in the trash cans, underneath, log pile and hedge drops pincers • Fleas - Possible use as an event, the family dog runs into the yard and starts shaking releasing a whole bunch of aggressive fleas that’ll swarm you • Frog - Rare visitor to the pond can be killed and drops mucous, frog skin and webbed feet for use as a speedy dive suit • Garter Snake - Eggs can be found in the underneath and hedge if attacked they’ll hatch, drops snake skin and egg shells • Grasshopper - Found in dry areas drops meat when killed • Hornet - More aggressive than wasps and found in an underground hive • Horse/Fruit/House Flies - Found all over the yard Horse flies are aggressive and will attack on sight, fruit flies can be found eating discarded pieces of fruit near the trash can and are passive and house flies are also found near the trash can rummaging around. All three drop fuzz • Hummingbird - Small birds found near the flower garden eating nectar, can be befriended (not tamed) which allows for use as a mount, however if the hummingbird is attacked mid air it won’t hesitate to buck you off to save itself. Can use nectar to craft a makeshift hummingbird feeder that attracts them to your base for easy “befriending” • Inchworm - Found around plants used for meat • Jewel Bug - Found in the flower garden they come in different coloured variants, will steal shiny objects they come across and horde them, drops parts that can be made into various decorations and even shields • Jumping Spider - Found in the sandbox, these spiders are neutral and inquisitive sometimes following you around if there attention is caught, even stealing objects the player drops • Leafbug - Large bugs found in the flower garden and hedge biomes there passive and will stand completely still to camouflage against predators • Longhorn Beetle - Found in the hedge and oak tree, aggressive beetles that drop parts • Maggots - Found on pieces of meat in the trash can and can be killed for meat and goop but even cooked there’s a chance of getting status effects from eating it • Mayflies - Found near the pond as larva during a special event they’ll become adults and can be found everywhere in the yard • Milkweed Bug - Found feeding on milkweed plants, drops parts that can be used to extract a toxic chemical for use with weapons • Millipede - Found in damp areas drops parts • Mole - Found in a labyrinth maze of tunnels underneath the dirt pit, if it smells (can’t see) and notices you it’ll chase you down this can be prevented using earthworm bait to distract it or a cover scent made from certain flowers, the cover scent won’t work if you get too close. The mole can’t be killed making it another animal that requires stealth to get past. Guards a cache of resources • ”Mothra” - A hidden abnormally large moth boss found only at night in a remote location (I’ve got no idea where) has the ability to hypnotize you with a special powder, when killed drops hypnosis spores used to make special smoke bombs that cause the same effect • Moths - Found around light sources at night and attached to the oak tree during the day, can be killed for powder used to make smoke bombs • Mouse - Found in the shed and can be killed for meat, teeth and fur, teeth can be turned into a shovel or some other kind of tool also runs into mouse traps set up inside the shed • Orchid Mantis - Found in the flower garden they’ll camouflage next to flowers and sneak attack you if you get too close • Praying Mantis - Found in the hedge as a potential boss drops parts and forearm claws used to make swords and armor • Queen Bee - With the bee hive being added to the game it’s only a matter of time before a Queen gets added too • Raccoon - A rare visitor to the knocked over trash can, will start attacking you if seen, only way to survive is to hide • Rhino Beetle - A living tank found around the yard mainly the hedge, oak tree and near the log pile, beetles are neutral and defend themselves by charging. Beetle parts can be made into strong armor and a “rhino” shield that can stun enemy’s if hit • Roach - Roaches are found in and near the trash cans as well as the underneath, shed and haze. Drops parts that can be made into roach armor • Salamander - Final boss of the game found in the deepest part of the underneath, can’t be killed but when enough damage is done will be driven off giving access to a loot cache filled with valuables, also drops mucous • Scorpion - Boss for the sandbox, found inside a tunnel in the middle of a sand castle. Drops a stinger, claws and bug parts that can be made into weapons (Scorpion Gauntlets, Stinger Spear) and armor • Scorpion Fly - Semi aggressive flies that attack if you get too close despite the name they have no venom • Scale Bug - Found all over the yard attached to plants, can be farmed for honeydew • Silverfish - Found in damp places like the underneath, trash can and log pile. Appear in large numbers and drop meat • Skink or Gecko - Never actually seen but implied to visit the yard from time to time, on random days a shed lizard skin can be found in a few key places in the yard that can be harvested for scales to make lizard armor • Slugs and Snails - Found around the yard mainly in moist areas like the log pile, flower garden and underneath, both drop mucous that can be made into glue for advanced builds and the snails shell can be made into decorations as well as snail shell armour • Sparrow or Robin - Can be found on a nest high up in the oak tree, periodically leaves giving free access to the contents of the nest (random objects, egg shells, dry grass chunks) also can’t be killed • Spittle Bug - Found in the flower garden will periodically create “spittle” casings which can be harvested for use in clothing insulation • Springtail - Found in areas like the log pile, underneath, dirt pit and trash can there passive and usually appear in numbers • Stag Beetle - Large highly aggressive beetles found in the underneath and hedge, they drop large mandibles used to make a pincer trap • Stick Bug - Camouflaging insects found near tree branches • Tarantula Hawk - Extremely aggressive random encounter boss flying around the yard when killed drops venom and parts for making strong armor • Termite - Found in the termite nest can be killed for meat, with soldiers dropping mandibles • Thornbug - Found in the flower garden attached to various plants • Tiger Beetle - Boss for the rock pile once it spots you there’s no escape as it’s the fastest beetle in the game, if killed drops parts that can be crafted into armour that increases running speed • Toad - Found in the haze as a mini boss can spit acid and do a ground slam attack causing massive damage drops acidic mucous and warty skin • Trapdoor Spider - Small section of the yard is a minefield filled with these spiders burrows, if you get to close one will spring out and attack, if killed gives you access to the loot stored inside the burrow • Waterbug - Mini boss for the pond drops a proboscis that can be made into a sword, when attacking with said sword deals increased damage due to the liquefaction bonus of the venom • Woodlouse - Found in areas such as the underneath and log pile, passive crustaceans that drop meat and parts for low level armor Other Items • Clay pots • Chandeliers • Ladders (Stem, Rope) • Gas, net, snare and flame traps • Tripwire alarm • Nets • Dye • Bridges • Raft • Bola • Sleeping Bag (Portable lean-to) • Bombardier armor (Acid resistance) • Shelves (item display) • Acid bomb • Bug repellant • Backpack • Benches • Compass I love grounded and I hope that some of these ideas will make it into the game in one way or another keep up the good work the games amazing

  9. General Idea: I've been thinking about this for a while now. It's hard to move large amounts of items, and especially resources, long distances quickly. How about trains? I've noticed that techy stuff is not what you guys are going for, so a player powered train could work. Features: You could have a train construction platform, where players can attach chests, pallets, etc. However, everything will have to fit within a certain area on the platform. Personally, I would limit the number of cars to 3 or 4 just to avoid lag. Construction: A track system made of weed stems, crude rope, and grass planks. Each car could have acorn top wheels, and have grass planks for the floor. Fitting it in: Maybe this could be a part of a larger update that includes gears and the like, opening up the possibilities for more machines.

  10. Love grounded think it's great fun but one HUGE issue is the not being able to play unless the host is available. Be perfect if everyone in a group could access a save to be able to keep playing, to add to a base, to find new things, to collect resources. This is the only real flaw that stops me and my friends playing more than we would like to. Seems silly having 4 different saves all at different points in the game when you all want to work on one base. I know it's still effectively game preview but it would be nice to have a definite answer to if this will be possible in the future if not it makes a great multiplayer game in to a lonely single player.

  11. Prequel, the original OVA drops in with no background and some helps make as much sense as you can out of a show like JoJo. Tag me in, I've been in a funk about games and really need something to take my mind off life right now.

  12. That's... not getting any better, and all the of the bosses you haven't seen do that too. Worse even, for some of them, their sounds are the only proper tells you get for what they're about to do, so you can't even play with sound off. Luckily the game has a compass you can get after a bit of playing and various quick travel options, so the game world becomes managable. Spoilered the post. Kinda the wrong forum and thread for this.

  13. I actually haven't played Hollow Knight, so I have no idea what you're describing. Well, actually, I started it, but I only played for like an hour before the hideously annoying NPC inane voice babbling combined with too complex maps drove me insane and right off of the game. I'm bad at handling too-large Metroidvania games - my ideal Metroidvania game is more like 5 hours, 10 at absolute most...not the 30 or 40 of Hollow Knight. For longer, somewhat difficult games, Dark Souls is more my speed. Glad to hear you beat them, though...whomever they are! I know the combined feeling of both satisfaction as well as annoyance from other games after finally taking care of a ridiculous boss that just wouldn't go down, . Uh...yes, that was left out. ...Glad I was finally able to enjoy JoJo's Bizarre Adventure in SOME fashion because of this OVA, .

  14. I'm in the middle of it, but the setup of the entire show is such that spoilers barely matter. The anime adaptation has 46 episodes. I guess the OVA left out the Playboy reading ape that oggles a young woman taking a shower on a ship that's a figment of his imagination (well, his stand, actually)?

  15. I edited some more stuff in after I realized I should actually describe some of the meme-ish stuff that happened, just in case you want to laugh at that, presuming once again you've already seen this arc.

  16. Grandpa Joe already survived being shot into space on a giant rock by causing a massive volcano eruption and the subsequent re-entry and crash into the ocean while he was young*, so... that's not as much of a surprise as you might think it is. He was bit younger back then tho. *He did all that while fighting Kars, the super being who managed to overcome the weakness of vampires by becoming immune to sunlight, a creature capable of transforming into a bird, launching razor sharp feathers at JoJo which then later turn into piranhas that almost eat him. So yeah, uhm. It's called Bizarre for a reason. xD

  17. Episode 6: What a meme of an ending...but it was actually pretty great. If this OVA continued, I would continue watching. I like the animation a lot better than the main series, and I'm pretty sure I like the writing a lot better as well (though I've only watched a few episodes of the """main""" series), even with a few of the things I still don't care for. Thanks once again, Mr. Kon, .

  18. JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, episode 5, Majestic do not read unless you've already watched Stardust Crusaders or whatever this arc is called presuming that the events of this OVA at least roughly carry over to the regular anime:

  19. Hey, What you mean "look into my dats" ? When it comes to the savefiles that you sent to the devs, i did that a few days ago. That was the answer: Our team is currently working on a fix for this and apologize for the trouble it has caused. I hope there is a fix soon...

  20. If you don't solo then any class is viable. RES/CON make little difference in the early game and once you have BDD/SoT they become irrelevant - the ideal would be max PER/INT/DEX and rest in MIG. I prefer human race since the bonuses apply to all attacks, while also wearing a helmet. However +3PL can give more PEN/projectiles to spells which might be more important for pure casters.

  23. Washington's finishing move was called "Crossing the Delaware" apparently. Surprised it looks like a 3/4 facelock jawbreaker though; always figured it'd be more of a crucifix powerbomb. 24. Why not go with a shield and some defensive capabilities (weapon and shield style, Psychovampiric Shield, Borrowed Instincts and such) and lean into it by maxing Resolve? Increasing returns and all. You won't be the cipher with the best focus generation but you might be the one who doesn't go down. With a small shield your casting accuracy wouldn't even suffer.

  25. I don't remember, sorry. I never payed too much attention to those dialogue-unlocking things in the first place (since you don't gain any mechanical advantages besides maybe being able to avoid combat from time to time - so after the first playthrough right after release I didn't bother much) - and then the last time I played PoE1 was years ago.

  26. 'twas just a joke, because "boar". Ofcourse a Cipher can go sword & board. It's totally viable - what dmaage potential you lose you'll make up with staying power. It depends a bit on the party what is better. For example if you also have a Chanter (who have powerful but somewhat slow mechanics) it's not bad to go more defensive. Sabres are nice. The best one is (imo) Bittercut because it has two damage types and also because it gets a 20% dmg bonus from Spirit of Decay because it deals corrode damage (and slash dmg as secondary dmg type). Also Sabres of the Sea + Resolution (also obtainable pretty early) is a good combo. Just note that some enemies have really high slash DR - or are even immune. So make sure you have some backup weapons in the second weapon set that deal non-slash damage (like stilettos or clubs - which shares the same weapon focus as sabres). Hammers are also one of my preferred weapon choices because there's good unique ones that don't kone late and because they deal pierce/crush dmg (choosing the more effective dmg type automatically like all dual dmg type weapons).

  27. playing battletech again. we were gonna do heavy metal, but instead we started a new campaign, after which we will do the dlc material. am using our backstabbing grasshopper a bit more than last time we played, but am still kinda using our headshot marauder even though we got assault mechs which look better on paper. marauders just kinda feel busted with the significant increased headshot chance, but until we got all the mechs we wanted via salvage, we had a hard time resisting the lure o' a kinda dependable "pilot incapacitated" after a head shot. blunder: dekker is effective in the grasshopper, but we shoulda' gone for ace pilot instead o' master tactician. being able to shoot and then move woulda' been a huge asset in the grasshopper. regardless, while mechwarrior 5 is kinda fun, am still more a fan o' the turn-base battletech. too bad it looks like there is no more battletech from hairbrained anytime soon. HA! Good Fun!

In the prewar scene in the beginning if you click on the special book in the babies room Nate or Nora will “wonder what Sean will grow up to be”. I busted out laughing when that happened.

  30. Australian bats aren't "cute", they're traffic hazards (especially at night)

  31. Well I got similar issue with Geomancer Maia's INT, so I sympathize. +1 INT and PER aren't going to save the day but this cannot hurt either. I'll go with that.

  32. Ah, well, then I still have like 95 tries left. Not that it would do me any good. I've already forgotten most things, to be honest, e.g. I can no longer read or write notes for instance. I also never could, and probably never will, hear key changes, or even keys, or guess tones like other people do, not even in relation to each other. I'm as tone deaf as they come, I just know when somethings nice to listen to, and when not, and that's pretty subjective. I dislike most Jazz, for instance, and that includes Slow Love, Slow. There's only so much of any melodic pattern subversion that I can take before it breaks my brain, and Jazz makes a point of seemingly doing either only that or having three or four separate tracks playing over each other, i.e. a piano, bass, drums and an optional vocalist all performing their own songs at the same time that are vaguely similar to each other, but not enough to form a coherent whole. That really does a number on me (brain trying to find patterns that deliberately aren't there, yay!). I know, I'm painting a huge and varied genre with very broad strokes here. It also doesn't help that Jazz has some of the worst fandumb imaginable: A bunch of entitled elitists, most of which probably hate the music anyway but pretend they love it to apepar sophisticated and upper class. Glad to be of service. Who knows, maybe it will come in handy at some point. Not only that, but it also kinda misses what I like so much about You'll Never Get to Heaven: it's just this...perfectly consistent mildly low-toned half-whispering kind of singing. Lunascape...doesn't do it for me on multiple levels, . BREAKING NEWS: Bartimaeus continues to be the pickiest bastard about anything and just about literally everything, more at 11! Mmh. 'twas a shot in the dark, anyway. That sure was... something. I think that's about the only thing I can say about it. Not going to repeatedly listen to that. I can't avoid it. Watching the news and reading papers is enough for me. Adele I know from the occasional bout of listening to radio when I'm subjected to it. Can't stop being me, so it's all absorbed and sticks for a while. A long while, in most cases.

  34. IMO Konstanten really needs a boost in both PER and INT. I like playing him as a howler, but he's really low in these stats (11 and 10) given his skald subclass.

  35. Is there a possibility that earthmoving can be built in? It would be great if I could dig with a shovel or straighten one area or lift another.

  36. That's right, it would be really nice if you have 4 people but 2 can't play that evening, the other 2 or just 1 could continue to play and if everything would have to play together again the next day, the games from the previous evening would have to be there for everyone and not that you have to do everything all over again.

  38. Ohhhhhhh..... gotcha Only problem is the scale would be way far off. Those swords are more like action figure size (I know because I used to equip my action figures with them - LOL), whereas we are the size of an ant in-game.
