It's weird being far behind yall. Day drinking and lockdown will fix that. I finished the one where they were at a beach resort and ended up fighting a "ghost" that came from a girl being overworked by her obsessive dad that just happened to work at a monster themed hotel where the employees never broke character. Honestly I'm having a blast, this is the closest I've gotten to going into Jojo blind where I have no idea what's going on and every new episode is a complete surprise. Except instead of muscle dudes and blatant homoeroticscm it's teenage girls. Lmao.2 points

We're I'm at Nephreite pretended to be Tuxedo Mask and sucked the energy out of a 14-year old girl who was in love with his assumed identity, an adult businessman. Not as creepy as the pegasus thing but still a little weird.2 points

Castlevania is pure awesomeoness. I'd say the fault is yours. Oh, and is that subtle hint that we should take our Sailor Moon discussions elsewhere?2 points

In my opinion: Yes, it is. The first season takes a couple of episodes to find its footing, but after that it is, if nothing else, great entertainment. You could watch the first episode, then 8 and 10 to gather the early team (the rest shows up way later) then skip to 13 and continue normally. This skips most of any early awkwardness, takes the first and arguably most boring of the antagonists out of the picture and begins the arc were the show really starts to shine in its very unique way. But the episodes are short enough, more so if you actively skip stock footage, and given the show's shoestring budget and time constraints so skipping 10 out of the first 13 episodes isn't much of a timesaver. You just see a lot less of Usagi crying. The first anime (Sailor Moon Crystal is the new one, and more closely based on the manga) and the manga are supposedly somewhat different. Legend has it that some of the showrunners and Naoko Takeuchi hated each other's guts (she particularily hated them turning Rei into somewhat of a mild tsundere). I have never read the manga, so I don't know, but I do plan on watching Sailor Moon Crystal, even though I really don't like the way it looks. Sailor Moon S (third season) is, I think, the show's absolute high point. It's not just the high point of Sailor Moon, but up there with 90ies anime in general - just don't expect any Evangelion level commentary on human existence. All that is, of course, with two "minor" caveats: First, it's silly. By far and large, it is mostly silly. There's drama, action, some social commentary, it is occasionally heartbreaking (to be honest, the first time I saw that season one finale I cried. Sure didn't tell that to my friends at school, but eh, yeah), but at the end of the day it is... silly. Assuming you can appreciate the abject silliness of the show you'll get a lot of laughts out of it. Second, and that also needs to be said, it also is a magical girl sentai shojo anime. One of the first of its kind, I think. To quote Mike Stoklasa here: It broke new GRROOOOOOOOOOOOUND! I mean it unironically though, and there's a reason why it became popular beyond all the wildest dreams of its creators. Even though it was made for young girls, the only people I know that watched Sailor Moon were guys, and we were mostly in our mid to late teens at the time. Huh. Oh, and has a really minimalistic artstyle that I think is super gorgeous, but it was noticably different from other anime at the time. edit: Wow, forum software just ate my precious edit. @Bartimaeus I agree with your theory.1 point

My (very limited) experience is that the best dpt is a scroll of great maelstrom cast with high arcana.1 point

Hey! Didn't manage to find how to make audio files work other way yet. But, about dialogues, Nonq's solution worked well! Vatnir has now a hub conversation with more than 100 entries \0/ Now I've reached the point in the mod where I'd like to try to make Waidwen a companion. Before I start, I'd like to know if it's even possible? I came across a post where someone explained that it was possible to create a new companion from an existing NPC but without any more details. I'll look a little on my side but if someone has info, I'll take it.1 point

Hmm maybe then it doesn't worth to waste time on it right now. On second run with Berath goodies it might become easier1 point

If Sailor Moon S has a weakness it's that there's not enough screen time for everyone. I'm not sure why it got "only" 38 episodes, it could have done with a couple more. That's why SuperS has a reduced cast size. I'll say this for SuperS, they made sure the girls have more time to be girls in the fourth season. I'd also like to use this post to give some appreciation to the Death Busters. The Professor is just awesome. Eh, and completely insane. edit: The scene from the original English dub about the "Cousins" (boy is that bad, so glad our dub was way better) where Makoto rides with Haruka and Michiru is from episode seven of S. It's probably the best Makoto-focused episode in the entire run of the show. It usually doesn't show up in any of the "best episodes" guides because it's mostly filler*, i.e. there's no dramatic foward momentum or even any impetus for the main story line that seems to define what great episodes are for people who vote on such things (e.g. looking at IMDB's user ratings), but I think it should be way up there. It has everything and more that you could hope for in an episode of Sailor Moon (and Makoto is great, as always...). *1 point

The cousins have finally arrived. (e): Season 3 is amazing so far. This is like full mid-season 1 levels of ridiculousness, I'm having to frequently pause because I'm laughing too hard. What the hell was that introduction for Haruka? She is so clearly a woman, but gets the full "this is by far the hottest guy we've ever seen in either of our lives" treatment from both Usagi and Minako (what a great pair to be the ones to do it, they're both so lovably dumb - the show is usually as its absolute best for me when it's those two). What an absolute farce, .1 point

More Sailor Moon mania: I watched the first episode of S. Pretty great opening. Halfway through the episode, I was thinking, "Man, Rei is so great*...they really should have had more Rei-focused episodes...of course, now that I think about it, whenever I see a Minako-focused episode, I say they should have more of those too...and when they have Makoto-focused episodes, I want more of those too...and when they have an Ami-focused episode, I say well we should probably get back to Usagi or Chibi-Usa [note: mostly kidding]. Rei is really great, though."1 point

That's the scene I saw on YouTube. Felt like I needed to call the FBI. I believe the title of the video was literally called something like "no, please stop, Chibi-Usa". I watched R the Movie. That was...interesting and sure went places. A bit more hammy in places than is the usual for Sailor Moon, but still a lot of fun. The whole Mamoru..."""friendship""" plot sure was a thing. That 3D effect they used for the asteroid or comet or whatever it was...was not good, . Besides that, the show looked fantastic in HD.1 point

if you like solo and casting trobadour/psion is open to very different fight styles, e.g. you can use pain linked (at high speed from stealth) kamikaze summons and finish the enemy with disintegration (hauani no divide), you can use the sabre of paralyzing chillfog with chant spamming skeletons and spam cipher spells on paralyzed enemies. You just need high stealth to lure enemies on traps and start chanting/filling focus unseen (especially with Vela)1 point

These ideas are great. I would also like to add the idea of a sandbox biome in the backyard. I haven’t really thought about it much but I think a cool insect to add in this biome would be the ant lion. Ants are kind of not threatened in the backyard so why not add an ant lion to prey on ants. Maybe we can use their mandibles for a kind of bear trap.1 point

For me the issue with combat is that the high level battles are not really designed for turn based. Early game was great, the Gorecci street for example was both fun & exciting. But the final area in Beast of Winder was such a chore to get through. It had this "rolling wind" that would periodically appear on the map and every time that happened, whomever turn it was (enemy or party) would have to wait until the animation played out before they got to act. This made the battle drag on and on. I actually gave up on the two "boss battles" that were not story related. Sigilmaster bugged halfway through and since the fight is lengthy, and there is no guarantee this bug won't occur again, I'd rather not replay it. Giant crystal spider I've quit because so many spiders started appearing, that the "wait your turn list" got too long. Large enemy groups is not something that works in turn based. So I have to agree with the op, albeit for a different reason. The battles in the dlcs are just not fun.1 point

Steven Seagal about not working on an Expendables film - "I just don’t like some of the people involved. Life is too short to work with funny people." That said, Seagal is allegedly difficult to work with. He also allegedly would only do Machete if his character, rather than losing to the title character, fought him and killed himself rather than be shown defeated.1 point

I thought it was just a bunch of former action stars that wanted to get together and hang out. It looked like it would have been a lot of fun to be on the set. That didn't necessarily translate into movie magic. Antonio Banderas had the best part, I think. He is always fun to watch.1 point

The writer for Troubleshooter must have had a great laugh writing Irene. They also must have had some very annoying experiences with RPGs that give you dialogue options that all lead to the same result anyway.1 point

Only way I have gotten my audio mods to work is by placing the files inside of a folder in StreamingAssets\Audio\Windows\Voices\English(US). Placing audio inside a mod's override folder doesn't work from what I can tell. I am really interested to see it might be possible to add new audio and dialogue!1 point

I think which conversations are triggered when speaking to characters are hardcoded in the Unity asset files. You could try inserting a TriggerConversationNode at the right place (and with the right conditionals) in harbinger_leader to intercept the conversation and trigger your own. an example from 04_cv_queen_onezaka_ii_wahaki_quest:1 point
