  1. And the guy sniffing the panties in the earlier set of pictures is the Panty Professor. They're 2 of a trio of perverts terrorizing women in Kamurocho. I am giddy with anticipation to find out the name and fetish of the third pervert.

  4. I've gone through the gauntlet of Pillars 2, Tyranny, and now Torment: ToN, and I wanted to offer brief thoughts on each. Keep in mind this is my subjective opinion, however I do believe they are some objective thoughts in here (such as Torment's combat compared to the others). - Overall I feel like Pillars 2 and Tyranny are more enjoyable than Torment, because Torment is really a visual novel with much worse combat. If you like reading you may enjoy Torment more, but be warned - it is REALLY weird. Like take the Forgotten Sanctum DLC and make it weirder, and make that the whole game. - Tyranny was ingenious in the way they handled action and consequence. I thought they integrated it seamlessly within the game - it never felt "gamey" to me. I think the replayability is an illusion though - it's worth trying out different decisions, but the game is quite linear. I think PoE2 actually has more replayability that any cRPG I've played, maybe close to BG2, only in that PoE2 has a top tier character building system. - Pillars 2 has the best graphics and combat by a mile for me. Clean and weighty. However, as we all know, the main story is rubbish and the factions are all morons. However I applaud Obs for adding the book of Woedica, which provided SOME explanation for God's childish behavior. I think the biggest disappointment I had with Pillars since Day 1 were the bugs, some deeply rooted in core mechanics and quests. - Torment is...just an odd game. I like a lot of the ideas, but I don't see how anyone can play a combat-focused character. It's not just that the combat is slow - you only get a tiny amount of actions each round - the character abilities and equipment are just terrible. How many years in the future? +2000? And we are still using bladed weapons and wooden shields? And bullet-weapons that can barely hit? I feel like they missed the mark tremendously on anything related to equipment and combat. The abilities are just not varied, exciting, or powerful. A hook? 2000 years in the future and a grappling hook is an ability?Heck you can't even switch you companions gear (minus weapons). So to sum up my ramblings - PoE2 and Tyranny are both very quality cRPGs, two of my favorite, whose strengths are almost opposites. I'll give both 9/10. If PoE2 had less bugs, and more believable factions tying into the main story, I'd give a 9.5. If Tyranny had better combat with less difficulty spikes, with more opportunities to solve conflicts peacefully, I'd give it 9.5. Torment is not worth the price tag of $50...it really should be $20 in my opinion. A weird, questionable romp through an alternative universe with rich lore, but complete falls on itermization and combat (which yes, you are forced into several times throughout the game) with little to no replayability. The game feels like it forces you into an Intelligent Nano to avoid the combat and exploit the power of the Intelligence stat in conversations. I'll give it 7/10.

  6. It occurred to me that I need to learn to code, then make a game with True Perma-Death : when your character dies, the game will automatically uninstall itself and delete itself from your Steam/GOG/Epic() account, forcing you to repurchase if you want to try again. I will have a small dedicated army of fanbois who will defend this practice and call people who disagree names. I have not yet decided what names, but I am considering Jason, Kevin, Tim, Mandisa... I am open to suggestions.

  7. Given nazism's historical context, unless someone is aligned with similar ethno-nationalist goals, it's better to use the term fascists when it's those same tendencies being applied along different identitarian lines. Fascist underpinnings can be entertained on behalf of any identity to cultivate a "living space" for the select peoples.

If I quit, they either have to let me go at once, with no replacement (I'm currently the only traffic organizer here, besides that I can do yard jockey work and I train new yard jockeys) or they have to keep me until they can find a replacement(Good luck with that) for me and give me my money.

  11. First of all - roleplay music background https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KEjPohtfhcc Hand of Doom Difficulty: PotD v. 5.0 with Community Patch (Forbidden Fist ability changed to weapon attack) Solo: totally viable, but untested. I played some tougher fights with team wandering somewhere, especially Eder for pet slot (Nalvi) Class: Forbidden Fist/Steel Garrote Race: Nature Godlike for better fisting with Wellspring of Life Background: Ixamitl Plains - Laborer Stats: Might - 18 (+ 2 berath blessing, 1 gift from the machine, 1 chameleon's touch, 2 alchemic brawn, 1 rabyuna's boon, 5 tunderous blows = 30) damage and healing bonus Constitution - 3 (+ 2 berath blessing, 2 alchemic brawn = 7) dumped because of incredible self healing Dexterity - 15~18 (+ 2 berath blessing, 2 footprints of ahu taka, 1 chameleon's touch, 2 alchemic guile, 1 rabyuna's boon, 1 godlike = 24~27) Perception - 15~18 (+ 2 berath blessing, 2 alchemic guile = 19~22) Intellect - 3 (+ 2 berath blessing, 2 alchemic wits, 1 godlike, 10 turning wheel = 18) dump base int, because of turning wheel. Needs max wounds for fire lash, and you don't want extend forbidden curse to much Resolve - 18 (+ 2 berath blessing, 2 alchemic wits, 2 token of faith, 2 rabyuna's boon, 1 ixamitl plains, 1 cauldron brew = 28) test it at different game stages, to keep forbidden curse effect below 3sec, with max bonus from turning wheel. Then it ticks only once, and when curse fades heals you more, than injures. You can also use shorewalker sandals, cabin boy instead of rabyuna, ring of the solitary wanderer, harmony ring, or sacrifice palegina in PoE 1. Equipment: Head: godlike head for wellspring of life. (Add potion of ascencion to reach 10 power level, and your fists will be post-mythic utensils of destruction with +80% damage, +22 accuracy and 13 penetration) Back: The Giftbearer's Cloth Neck: Token of Faith for +2 resolve or Bone Setter's Torc for additional healing, or Strand of Favour (remember to adjust equipment to forbidden curse lasts below 3sec) Armor: first Devil of Caroc Beastplate or Gipon Prudensco, then Contender's Armour (with enough athletics, that you use as emergency healing, nalvi pet and abraham pet, this armor is faster than naked and has nice armor rating), or Kahako Nihi (the tankiest, but also the slowest. Looks cool and has great enchantments that reduce enemy armor and penetration, and the most important, gives you 10% piercing lash to forbidden fist ability) Waist: Blunting Belt/Upright Captain if using pull of eora/ Ngati Girdle/Makers Own Power (for might and crush AR. Reforge the Flesh is bad for you, because of paralyze. Your healing is reduced when deal no damage. Use up its charge before fight) Hands: Hylea's Talons (about 7 self damage, healed for 300% more immediately when effect wears of, and give you wound, and 5% slash lash for weapon attacks) Rings: Chameleon's Touch and Ring of Prosperity's Fortune (or ring of the solitary wanderer, harmony ring but remember to adjust equipment to forbidden curse duration below 3sec) Boots: Footprints of Ahu Taka/Shorewalker Sandals Pet: abraham (and nalvi on eder if possible) Weapon set 1: Magran's Favour with modal on (when using Forbidden fist ability the initial attack is made with your fist irrespectively of weapon in active slot, but heartbeat drumming and flurry strikes use magrans favour with modal, which apply bleeding cuts with no recovery penalty, an it's always main hand, without damage reduction even if you dual wielding) Tuotillo's Palm with modal on (you doesn't need to use auto attacks often, so no dps decrease due to tuotillo's low base dmg or modal recovery, but its enchants adds 5 accuracy to forbidden fist ability, and 1 deflection for every wound. You want to have 10 wounds all the time for turning wheel lash. Deflection is, at this time, high enough to enemies often miss you, so FF ability gets +15 accuracy from modal) Weapon set 2: Kapana Taga and Tuotillo when flanked (swaping weapon when flanked should give you wound, becouse you get rid of negative effect, but i honestly doesn't know if it works) Food - Mohora Wraps Drugs - Mouth Char Quick slots - Potion of Ascension Abilities: Steel Garrote and Forbidden Fist passive talents - The harder you hit, the more you heal. With post-mythic forbiden fist you hit like a truck, heal from draining, then after 2,9 sec curse disappears and heal you more! (possible only with Community patch, becouse original FF is not a weapon attack) Eternal Devotion - 10% burning lash for FF Exalted Endurance - 8 hp per 3 sec Deep Faith, Inspired Defences, Weapon and Shield style, Practiced Healer, Stoic Steel - for defence Virtuous Triumph - resorce regen Sworn Rival - additional damage from it is supressed by FF, but it works on SF/HBD Clarity of Agony - reduce curse duration (its upgrade doesn't stack with turning wheel) Swift Flurry, Heartbeat Drumming - tons of instant bleeding cuts, and additional healing from Steel Garrote's passive talent (possible only with Community patch, becouse original FF is not a weapon attack) Tunderous Blows - +5 might and +2 pen Turning Wheel - +20% burning lash with 10 wounds (then also 10 deflection from tuotillo's palm) Crucible of Suferring - bonus to all defences exept deflection. Always active due to forrbiden curse fading time after time Soul Mirror - i became convinced to this talent when it reflect concelhaut beam spell against him Mortification of the Soul - gaining wounds by FF may be slow when nobody can afflict you, and the damage of mortification is almost instatntly covered by self healing. Nice to have Instruments od Pain - for stoic steel preservation if no enemies in mele range Rest is up to you. This build is realy indestructible machine, that can also deal huge damage. It doesn't uses any exploit or cheats, but many, many, many little synergies, which stacked together makes it smash enemies with 35(or 45% with kahako nihi) lash, heal itself for tremendous amounts, and regen resources. Here's console created character for tests vs some famphyrs (no specific tactic and it runs on AI ) https://drive.google.com/file/d/1gDlNDayZrJPgacTqK5cCqQGQ2PLQ-XWb/view?usp=sharing

  15. The Room Two In this surprising sequel to the film, Johnny must solve puzzle boxes to find Mark inside an eldritch nightmare. But seriously, these are fun games. I binged through the first one last night. They're puzzle boxes with fairly simple logic. Ones that couldn't exist in the real world for a few reasons. And at like $1.50 in the sale, much cheaper than even a single box.

  17. By definition, you are correct. However, I fall into the camp that feels it is a useless waste of time simply because of the way the battles are designed. I have now tried it three or four times (which means that I have no longer played the game without ever once firing my cannons), and it just doesn't feel worth it. Boarding is much more fun, in my view.

  18. The bumblebee thing is actually the other way around -- just one guy (an entomologist at that, rather than an engineer or biophysicist) claiming it was "impossible" rather than any kind of broad scientific consensus. You know, similar to how Einstein rejected the probabilistic aspect of quantum mechanics, despite having had a leading hand in laying the foundations for the theory himself, and against the accuracy of its predictions. When one is completely clueless about complex topics, it's advisable to keep an open mind rather than immediately embracing the opinion of the one expert, even against the consensus of other specialists in the field or, well... readily observable facts.

  19. Today I learned that male bears are called boars and females are called sows. Thank you funny things thread. When I was a young warthog, on a rare trip with my extended family up in the mountains around Pinetop-Lakeside, I once had a crazy bear encounter. I like to tell the story as if the bear chased us and we outran it but the truth is that we heard something that we thought sounded like a bear and then we ran in the opposite direction knowing deep down that we didn't have to outrun the bear and we only had to not be the slow one. I kinda feel bad for my youngest cousin (only by a couple of years) because he was crying as we all passed him but thinking back I remember that they all took off running before and without me so who's the real bad guy. Almost as soon as I reached the head of the pack a gunshot or something like it rang out ahead of us. We stopped and looked at each other, young(er) cousin still way in the back, then all bolted off to the right of the direction we had been running. We really didn't have much choice because it's not like we wanted to go back towards the maybe but probably very likely a bear.Anyways, the right seemed and was the correct direction to go as it wasn't who knows how much later that we'd made our way back "home" to what could generously be described as a cabin. And our bear bait slowpoke cousin arrived a good minute or so later still crying but generally uneaten and gunshot. I think we got into some serious trouble that day, my friends, and I don't think anyone believed our story until the next day when we'd heard that someone had shot at (or possibly just saw) a bear in the woods somewhere around where we were. I'm pretty sure I've shared that one before

  20. I did an Arcane Knight with Concelhaut's Parasitic Staff as main weapon. It was fun but in general I have to say that the draining is a bit underwhelming. Wizards have a lot of spells for applying afflictions. E.g. Chillfog. But their weapon dmg isn't too high even with FoD. Maye a Steel Garrotte/Trickster would be one of the best combos. It has plenty of affliction causing stuff, high defenses, Riposte and high weapon dmg (and thus higher draining). And it has Persistent Distraction which means auto-drain basically.

  21. Cutthroat Cosmo only provides reduced recovery penalty from armor - for the main player. And +5% additive gun damage for the party. Otto Starcat provides +1 Fire Power Level for the main player and +5% AoE damage for the party. The reduced recovery penalty from Cosmo is pretty strong though. If the gun damage is of any use: no idea.

  23. andrei, you are whining 'bout another group o' senators? more significant, Mueller to testify publicly on July 17 following a subpoena am thinking many people will be disappointed. mueller specific noted he believes he cannot consider obstruction. am not believing mueller will say anything which risks trump's chance for a fair trial. as trump cannot be prosecuted at this time, mueller is not gonna be able to say much more than has already been said. as to "collusion," which, once again, were Never considered by the special counsel, am thinking mueller testimony may prove enlightening IF democrats allow mueller to speak. as with comey being grilled by senators 'bout clinton emails, am predicting the Congressmen get distracted in their attempts to force mueller to declare trump actions criminal. democrats will lose a real opportunity to get useful information 'bout the degree o' russian-trump entanglement displayed in a public setting w/o barr or media editorializing. should also be gruesome public with details as the lengths the trump campaign went to avoid answering questions 'bout conspiracy... and the flat-out lies the campaign indulged to make the special counsel's job more difficult. mueller couldn't find legal sufficient conspiracy, but he stated such a conclusion were materially affected by trump organization lies and evasions. need Congressman questioning mueller to be smarter than were republicans when questioning comey if we are to get anything useful. worse odds than vegas. 26. i haven't played around with the kit, but i imagine a barbarian (esp furyshaper) would work well - with spirit frenzy they can trivially add staggered with hits, and barbarians tend to get hit a lot so the sustain from steel garotte could be nice.

  28. 1. Only Scordeo's crits counts, so it's better not to use other weapon or shield in offhand. That way you can get bonus accuracy and hit-to-crit conversion of one handed style talent. 2. Vehemence effect on Eager Blade triggers multiple times with heartbeat and flurry. These skills are "mele" and "weapon" tagged, so every "on hit" or "on crit" weapon enchantment should trigger from them. You don't need Forbidden Fist to apply con affliction. Every monk class have Enervating Blows talent that weakens enemy on crit. Optimal woud be Shattered Pillar, but 5 wound limit makes it useless. Community Patch should remove that, but for some reason it doesn't work. Maybe next version. Berzerker is fine, however I prefer devoted for better penetration and survivability. Unbending Trunk with 35 int is nice

  30. Wow, congratulations! Nice to know the Frost Giants are easy, I've shied away from dealing with them thus far. On a RP level, I think I wouldn't remove the bracelet and just keep the Keystone around, knowing that I can remove it should I so choose, because removing it would remove your ability to use the Map Room, which is kind of neat way to get around. You'd also lose the ability to understand any language, which might be a tad annoying to keep your Thralls in check On the cold damage front, do you have the Flawless Epic version of the Royal Lemurian Armor? I've so far managed to go pretty much everywhere in that without taking damage (at least no amounts that I noticed). The Lemurian T4 Armorer (Fia) is rather common in my experience (I have 4 as Thralls and killed another 2 so far, still no Blacksmith though), so might be worthwhile to get one.
