  2. I have EARTH-SHATTERING news. I don't want anyone getting hurt, so you may want to sit down before continuing to read. Visionary film genius Neil Breen has completed his 6th professional feature film. It may be jumping the gun to call this his latest masterpiece, but come on, when has Breen ever not delivered?

  3. Hi there, 1st basic information: 1. Platform (Xbox Console, PC Game Pass, PC Steam). PC 1: Windows 11 Grounded PC Windows Store Version > hosting the game PC 2: Windows 10 Grounded PC Windows Store Version > joining the game 2. Multiplayer or Single Player Game (if multiplayer, can you tell us how many players in total in the game, and their platforms if known) Mulitplayer, 2 Players, LAN 1 Gbit/s at the same table 3. Description of issue. Me as I am hosting the game experience no issues. But my daughter loses connection very often with the error that the connection has been lost and she should check her internet connection (which of course is a joke because everything with our internet connection is just right). Then it happens all the time that she can't pick up things or place building parts at all. Sometimes she stands in front of me but on her PC she is 10 feet away. The issue where she isn't able to pick up or place anything happens mostly right a minute after we restarted the game and it stay without any change. 4. Last thing you did in the game before the issue occurred, if applicable. All these issues happen randomly but often and the pick-up-bug stays at it is. After release the game is in a much worser shape than before 2 years. Because multiplayer is the main part of the game one can call this release an absolute desaster. Please fix this asap. Thank you very much.

  4. Beguiler are generating focus on deception spells hit, and most of deception spells are AoE. So, with a level 20 cipher, when 2 enemies are in the area of (for example) Mental Binding, you are able to spam this spell over and over (if you dont miss) per env.3s . Spamming the same spell refresh the duration (excepted if the new duration is inferior to the current one), so with a loop of some spells, it is possible to keep the effects active on the enemies, and even if their duration dont exceed the regular max duration, you can calculate quickly : In first, a crit with Mental Binding cause 14s of Paralyse for the enemy. then, the cipher only spam Mental Binding 9 times, with 0.3/2.8 action time. ( 9* (+3.1s) >> 27.9s of extra-duration) or, the cipher spam also some other spell, and at a moment he have done 4 crits to the enemy with Mental Blinding and also with other spells. (4* (+7s) >> 28) For these two situations, the total duration of the Mental Binding effect is 42 (initial 14s + 28s). But with cipher, the current effect is always between 1 and 14s however. Cipher dont have access to Enfeebling effect, excepted while multiclassed to FF monk. Enfeebled cause +50% of hostile effects duration, but their Total Duration . In these two case, using FF ability cause +22.5s of Paralyse (50% of 45) . Then, recast Mental Binding do nothing (current effect is longer) excepted generate focus, and only a new Enfeebled (when the current Enf. effect is over) can cause a new 50% of total duration including the +22.5s. The tactic is simple, when the Mental Binding duration is below 14s (in this case it is my crit duration (Entropy)) and the Enfeebled effect is always running, a new spam chain refresh the duration and add to the total duration some new numbers. Ex : there is 33s of paralyse and 40s of enfeebled when the monk hit with FF. When the monk hit with FF a new time, his cipher side had to refresh for env. 8 or 10s the Mental Binding effect. So on FF hit, this is 50% of 45+22.5+10s (+39s) added to the current paralyse effect. With Duality of Mortal Presence, is is easy to not Enfeeble the enemy for a very long time (+10int when using cipher spells, +10con when using FF). Draining spells self duration like Borrowed Instincts are depending of the enemy debuff duration, so with these rules. Woedica Priest and the Writ of Mending (the only Enfeebling effect vs will) can be really potent when used after some minutes of Beguiler's spam! As PL9 spell, for most of the fight (without Brilliant) a priest have only 1 cast of that. For Mohora/Azure Blade perspective, spamming deception spells with large AoE can be very nice. Dispersed Suffering (Frostfall) work on the same way that Enfeebling do, but have no duration (dont need to wait the enf of the effect to reapply the +20% duration on-kill) In the past I made some topics related to this, but without the carity for the calculation : https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/126467-class-build-the-duality-of-fractured-presence/ (but this is "extra min-maxed" and not very versatile build, but the idea is the same) and some others because I use Frostfall a lot. I hope I was clear in my explanations, if that can help to profit better at less for FF ability.

  5. That is because Neil Breen is the best at everything.

  6. Everyone who is a fan of cinema should love Mr. Breen's work: they are all professionally made feature length films. Now, if you're someone who is not familiar with what films are, it's helpful to say that they're kind of like books, but thankfully not really at all like books.

  7. azata, unlike most mythic paths, avoids punishing you with incongruous alignment choices. is few head scratcher moments with azata. is a whole lotta whimsy moments with azata. am thinking azata is the mythic least likely to frustrate player expectations. however, is not much payoff for the azata mythic path from a storytelling pov. the elysium option has humorous and charming moments, but if you are expecting more than good conquers all, then you will be disappointed. people like aivu, but if you are expecting more than the cookie schtick and aforementioned whimsy, you will be left wanting and aivu is a fair representation o' azata in general. am actual ok with azata 'cause a few o' the other paths we find genuine frustrating, but am not gonna try and convince anybody that owlcat did a fantastic job with the writing. given our expectations and experience with other mythics, not frustrating were enough. HA! Good Fun!

  8. Just started a Lich run, time to be an evil bony gal who sacrifices everything and everyone for power. I wish that the Lich looked more like canon PF liches instead of just the skelly, I like the creepy factor of stretched skin and dead eyes more than being bony. But anyways, Silly Little Cat > Thirsty Lizard Goat. I would rather travel with someone as deranged as Wenduag than have to hear another one of Lann's jokes or sue him for sexual harassment. Oh, and I played with Photomode and discovered that during the (close to) opening cutscene and found out that a headless dragon is under the city before Deskari shows up. Maybe I'll post when I get home. Sounds like you're living the best Azata life.

  9. Myself and a lot of other players are having constant fps drops and stuttering due to a bug in the recent patch. I have attached a photo of a location I found where black ants are constantly depositing food. Other people have also said the same is happening in ant hills and places where ants normally put the food bits like the ant hill and cookie bits. I can't attach the files as they're too large - https://imgur.com/a/fzyfXvr

  11. Tested this new amazon freevee thingy because there was a show I wanted to see and was like, meh, whatever. First things first: Having 3 blocks of adverts in a 20 minute episode is an absolute pain in the butt, even if those blocks are only 1 1/2 minute. After a while those feel like 5 minutes and I just wanted to die. Especially since I always saw the exact same ads. However, seems there is some sort of timeout or limit for how often a spot plays, because after like 3 or 4 hours I stopped getting adverts. So I swapped over to Bosch: Legacy and in 3 50 minute episodes I had 1 advert break of 30 seconds. Yay, I guess.

  12. Natural Explorer mutation isn't working properly. Sometimes Natural Explorer deactivates even when you are not in combat. Also when you disable Natural Explorer while in combat it slows you down twice.

  14. It is not a driver issue. This issues are consisting since first early access days. OBSIDIAN is ignoring it completely because there are absolutely no official mentions by them anywhere.

  15. So, it turns out the Abyss is the best of all planes. You can slaughter people on the streets even if you are Good. And nobody complains. Well, some do, but that just means more corpses. And no need to feel guilty, Slavers need to be stopped and anyone offended by the massacre of the Fleshmarkets is not that different, right? Time to talk to every single npc. Azata path:

  16. I'm on series X and I'm on a save file created after the 1.0 release and experiencing theses same issues. Fps drops that spike constantly even when just standing still. I've also been seeing some of the graphical artifacts like the floating bands of ground geometry/texture in random places.

  17. More Scorn, I've obtained the second weapon (so to speak) and so far I've been able to avoid all combat. Not a game to finish in one sitting for sure, kinda need my breaks in-between the puzzles.

  18. My Jets beat yet another team without a quarterback. It's week 7 and we have 5 wins (4 against teams either without or struggling at QB). WHAT VOODOO IS THIS? I'm waiting to hear a plague of frogs has hit the east coast.

  21. For the scanning. Have it have a duration similar to the backpack. I.E. not despawn. That could cause clutter tho so maybe after a certain number of dropped armors in the game, the oldest one despawns.

  22. Just wanted to confirm - this is a pretty big issue, what's worse, death / sleep / resetting the game does not appear to fix or reset the debuff, so it feels like you've been infected with a debuff that just permanently drops your movement speed.

  23. I'd rather write a novel length slashfic that simultaneously runs Daeran x Regill and Wenduag x Nenio than watch 10 minutes of Franky.

  24. Pfft. If Peter Jackson's movies are anything to go by, you have like 4 more endings to go.

  25. So...I finished Lord of the Rings Online. You might ask yourself how I finished an MMORPG. Those games are supposed to have an endgame that just goes on and on. But after over 15 years of play, my Captain of Man has travelled with the fellowship of the ring, and now the ring is destroyed. I hope that isn't a spoiler. I didn't actually do the destroying. Frodo did it. Well, technically Gollum did it. It was confusing. I do know that I rode an eagle to rescue Frodo and Samwise, and now everything is peaceful and I'm supposed to attend Aragorn's wedding. But that seems more like an epilogue thing than a main story thing. Anyways, 15+ years, 110 levels, and probably somewhere in the 1000-hour range of game time, I have finally completed the main storyline of LotrO. It's crazy to think that the game was originally released really only covering the first book/movie, and now it has grown above and beyond the source material by quite a bit.

  26. When Eddie Van Halen appeared on the scene in the late 1970s, he blew everyone away with much of what he did, and Eruption in particular. Not a lot of guitar players even understood what he was doing, and most of them certainly couldn't play it. These days, kids play Eruption for breakfast and then start practicing for real. But the vast majority of them don't, for some reason, write music that I find engaging or interesting. Here's a really good example: these guys are unbelievably good musicians, but the song is really simple (as a composition) and not very good. (The total lack of dynamics is particularly sad.) I find this somewhat odd and paradoxical, and to some extent it even bothers me. I'd like these guys to write better music. But: definitely worth checking out, if only for what this band can do, technically. [Guest artist Steve Vai is excluded from the comment above; he has done many interesting things, even if he's nowhere near my favorites as a guitarist.]

  29. Not for me, I already had no sympathy for her. The moment she threw Jennifer Hale under the bus that went out the window; not because it was Jennifer Hale in particular, any fellow voice actor would be the same.

  30. I'm having the same problems too, as the host I have no problems but other player see things teleporting and sometimes can't interact with objects. These kind of issues have been happening since early access and make the game unplayable, I consider it a major issue for the game right now. Even though we are on the same table playing this still happens often. Couldn't find any fix, but I hope they also add a LAN option to multiplayer in the future.

  32. Modding does exist, it won't be as simple as a certain block based game. There is a reddit and discord specifically for modding, and both can be quite useful. The only thing you really need is an IDE, the assets for your mod (textures, models, etc.), the guides, and the mod Core Controller to have an easier time adding new things.

  33. Check again and you will be happy to know that they are included in the soundtrack. Note, that the soundtrack is huge (it would fill 2 CDs) and I believe they are near the end of it. Plus, they are also on youtube....not that I've played them while working or anything....

  34. The most amazing thing about it is that it's such a simple thing. It's a really great immersion thing that makes me smile. But most importantly it tells me that I'm not a terrible captain!

  35. The shanties are easily one of my favorite things in the game. I was expecting Obsidian to do something ala Sid Meier's Pirates. You know, vague simlish yo-ho-hos and humming. But no, they're actual songs that make sense in the context of the setting, and they're all amazing to listen to. Glorious, glorious surprise.

  36. Hi there! There are a couple conditions you must meet prior to hearing sea shanties: - You have to have visited Neketaka - Morale needs to be higher than 30% - Total crew size nee needs to exceed 20% of the total crew capacity of your ship - You need to be sailing (i.e. not in combat or walking) - They have a 40% chance of playing vs the non shanty music My numbers might be slightly off but it's close. They react to other things too like gender ratio. If your crew is majority on gender it will change the gender of the lead singer. If it's full one gender or another, you'll only hear that one gender. Curious to hear if you've met these conditions? Also, did you play in the beta?
