Isn't this fixed by this in 1.05 ? :

Patch notes:

  • Party member stats on the character sheet will now show properly if the companion is removed and re-added from the stronghold.
  • Fixed issues where companions could lose their items when assigned to the stronghold

One question (I have the GOG version and so I dont have access to the 1.05 beta):

Okay, but the last posts of the two threads you mentioned are both before 1.05 beta was even released. So its possible that the fix from version 1.05 will solve the problem.

The fix and the issue seem to be two separate things. Check the wording of the fix and the issues in the thread.

 

That's why I ask if the fix is for the same issue.

Besides that, the other bugs need addressing too. All the other eight of them are pretty big issues, other than no. one which is just an annoyance. It does, however, break immersion.

But where is it? It's not obvious at all. I tried all the possible things that've come to mind.

Also, I just hired Grieving Mother for test and she has some abilities (like Fighting Spirit) shown among Level 2 Cipher Spells in Character sheet. And these abilities are clearly not Cipher Spells. The same is true for Kana; Armed to the Teeth is shown in "1st level Chanter Spells", for Hiravias etc. It seems that Abilites just aren't aligned correctly.

The option is in the difficulty settings. And it only applies to companions the first time you meet them.

 

Fighting Spirit and Armed to the Teeth are their racial abilities.

Also, now "Do you want to save changes?" _always_ appears when closing Options, even if nothing has been changed. E.g. click on Video, change nothing, close - and "save changes" prompt is here.

This is most likely due to the new options being added to the various options menus (reset companion levels, show news, etc). If you click Save it should no longer prompt you every time you open the menu. If this persists, please let us know.

Was the inventory bug fixed as promised in http://forums.obsidi...ing-them/page-2 ? This one is preventing me from playing (and not only me judging from the comments), because it is impossible to retrofix.

This issue should indeed be fixed. Please let us know if it occurs again.

What's with the bug where difficulty gets decreased silently by the game ? You guys said it was fixed in 1.05 before the beta, but it isn't present in the patch notes.

 

Since this is the one thing that makes me wait instead of play, I'd be happy to know :)

From what I've seen, this issue should be resolved in patch 1.05. I'll try to get it added to the patch notes. And please let us know if you manage to reproduce the issue in the latest version. Thank you!

Yes. The hireling in my main hall is not hostile anymore.

You need to disable "Auto Level Companions" in the difficulty settings.

Then when you will meet a companion for the first time he/she will be level 1, but with enough xp to level up immediately.

In difficulty settings I only see "Choose companions starting level" that is enabled, yet Aloth as first companion joining me is lvl 2° and can't find a way to maunally reset/level up him.

The translation seems a bit off.

You need to disable that voice before recruiting a companion.

What the heck! Very misleading description!

Among other things I have the italian version and that option is in english ( not the only translation missing  :getlost:) . Anyway after having disabled it the manual progression works.

The size of the combat/dialogue log windows gets reset every time I launch the game. Other then that great patch!
