Pathfinder Kingmaker is bigger then Deadfire
Bill Gates' Son replied to no1fanboy's topic in Computer and Console
This game looks great, but I honestly fear for this game success since the CRPG renaissance has died down a bit. It would be lucky if this game reaches over 7000 peak players on steamcharts. -
A niche crpg game from a less popular studio with barely any advertising and lower crowdfunding money is going to outsell PoE. Great logic there.

Patch 1.1.0 Updates Thread
Bill Gates' Son replied to David Benefield's question in Patch Beta Bugs and Support
Not sure if this counts as a really minor nitpick, but Mirke doesn't seem to have her bangs anymore with the tricorn hat after the partial hair update. -
I'm not a fan of the crew personality system because your crew members are no longer unique after recruitment. I honestly would have preferred a smaller boat crew over a bunch of generic characters who say the same lines on deck and in the scripted interactions. I didn't find myself getting attached to any of my crew members after I recruit them. While I'm not the biggest fan of BioWare, NPC crew interaction is something they do extremely well in the Dragon Age and Mass Effect series, and I was hoping for something similar in this game.

Why can't people like you just get over yourself and accept that a person can have their own perspective? Why do people like you have to be so antagonistic all the time? I'm not the one who started this smug ass thread claiming that people who dislike the story are "shallow" and "missing the point". Obsidian fans have got to be some of the most obnoxious I've come across. and you've been nothing but an obnoxious troll since I've seen you on this forum.

RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS - VISUAL NOVELS ALLOWED
Bill Gates' Son replied to Blarghagh's topic in Computer and Console
RIP. He introduced me to a lot of PC games. -
... we've had 2 major patches fixing bugs since release a little over a week ago. We've had ONE hotfix that primarily dealt with the issues related to importing save files (which is a pointless feature anyway considering that PoE 1 choices don't affect the plot of Deadfire in any meaningful way). Pillars 1 received significant updates (2.0 and 3.0) with tons of QoL features and bug fixes, while the planned DLC for Deadfire and another pointless sidekick don't inspire confidence. After all is said and done, this game is gonna end up abandoned like Tides of Numenera - a broken mess. You have the right to be concerned but looks like today's annoucement just contradicted everything you just said........
