I explored the underdark, helped some mushroom people with an evil dwarf problem, killed an evil mushroom guy, climbed a tree, met a nice mindflayer, and ran away from a wizard tower. So far the Underdark feels easier than the mountain pass (well Githyanki creche) and Auntie Ethel's hut. There is a lot more here though, the mountain pass is essentials just Lae'zel's quest and a fight with some undead while the Underdark feels like half of the first map in terms of things to do. The exploding or toxic mushrooms are bull****.

Nah, seems like he wasn't a gamer at all, and Starfield was just a tiny portion of the stolen goods he was selling. Seemed more like the world's stupidest advertising stunt. The "theft of goods $2500-10000" item on his charge sheet is a massive underestimate. His seller page is cleaned out now, but it was still up for a good few days after the arrest and the retail value of what was there had to be approaching six digits, if not over. He was selling job lots of games, electronics, perfumes, power tools, etc, like bundles of 10 Go Pros, 20 Bluetooth speakers, 50 copies of Just Dance (as one listing, not 50 individual listings), etc. Check out the Wayback Machine archive of just the first page (of nine) and it's probably already $10k+ worth of stolen goods there. He's a warehouse been apparently doing this systematically so even the total value of the stuff he's got listed *right now* would just be a fraction of his total business over time. Obviously I'm not saying it's worth 12 years, but your estimation of what he stole is probably out by a couple orders of magnitude because the retail value of Starfield would only have been a couple percent of the total of what he had listed.

I don't really care all that much about Bioware anymore and I don't remember the last game they released that I really loved, ME2 maybe. It's been a string of disappointments of varying levels starting with DA2. Sucks for anyone that lost their jobs though.

So after 1000+ hours in this game and futilely trying to trigger Xoti/Maia romance by raising their relationship with one another across many, man runs... I finally made it happen. It is insanely unintuitive and difficult to pull off, and last I checked there is no explanation on the internet for how to do this. The steps are: 1. Get Maia and Xoti to mutually like each other (at least +1 relationship mutually) 2. Get Eder and Xoti to like each other 3. Xoti will initiate a conversation with you where she talks about romancing Eder. If you fulfill the first condition, you can now suggest that she romance Maia instead. Caution, this is hidden behind a dialogue option to suggest to Xoti to not romance Eder, and if you miss it, Xoti/Maia romance does not happen. One tricky part is to not get 3 to happen before 1 happens (and 3 happens quite quickly after you fulfill 2), and the other tricky part is to get 2 to happen at all. Basically Eder does not have a lot of lines tagged as jokes. I've found it absolutely necessary to bring Eder and Xoti on two occasions: 1. While speaking with Serafen before going to Fort Deadlight, propose a head on assault. Serafen will joke about it being suicide, and Eder will chip in with his own joke. 2. While visiting Fort Deadlight, have both Eder and Xoti in the party when talking with Syri the Siren with Serafen in tow. Comment that Serafen made his bed, and now has to lie in it, rather than lying on his behalf. Eder will chip in with another joke. AFAIK these are both mandatory for triggering step 2, otherwise it is near impossible to get Xoti to have +1 relationship with Eder. You then need to kick Eder out of the party ASAP (there are a few random conversations which will cause Xoti to hit the +1 threshold with Eder, and you don't want 3 triggering prematurely), go get Maia, and get Xoti and Maia to like each other. Careful where you bring Xoti, as she does not like Maia lying. Anyhow I've attached screenshots of the beginning of the romance and a conversation that seems to confirm it, as I've never seen it on any previous playthrough.

I think it makes sense for Astarion and Karlach to be very horny, they did spend a very long time not being able to do.....well anything really. Gale, Lae'zel, and Wyll are excessively horny though, of those maybe Gale has a reason to be because he's got another looming death besides the tadpole that should be turning him into a tentacle monster. Shadowheart is the most normal among the group, and when....well I won't spoil anything but that should be a big alarm.

Naturally, who else would it be? Not coincidentally, my favorite character in OG Dragon Ball (far and away the best Dragon Ball don't @ me) is Oolong, given he's for all intents and purposes Zhu Bajie, just like Goku is Sun Wukong. Oolong appears in DBZ and so on, but in a much diminished role as the series devolved from the fun, goofy hijinks of the original to he's power level 100000! Oh yeah, well I powered up to 500000. Oh yeah, well I'm now power level 90000000000. And so on. As for the new Grim Dawn expansion, I'm all for it. The best loot em up gets bigger and even better, what's not to love?

That video is bit bad evidence of anything as it does not actually show that tank was destroyed in the end as it cuts just before smoke clears and picture is so blurry that you can't identify the tank model from the video. But Turkey's Leopard 2A4 have outdated anti tank protection, because Germany refused to upgrade them because Turkey used them against Kurdish forces and in they original deal Turkey promised not to use them against Kurdish people. Which was one of major reason why ISIS were able to destroy and capture 8-10 of them.

I was watching an interesting interview on CNN with Christina Amanpour, she is in Kiev at the moment, and one of Zelensky's former military advisors, Andriy Zagorodnyuk, and she asked him a whole lot of standard questions and the reality of drones came into the debate And he was saying the usage of drones is going to change warfare irrevocably or at least add another new permanent element and armies have to be agile and have to " modernize " there strategies in this type of war. He used several examples of there effectiveness and made a comparison how a single drone can destroy a tank worth millions or damage a ship So drones are definitely a tool of future warfare at least for those countries that have the resources to use them

According to our papers at least, last night saw possibly the largest amount of drone strikes in Russia so far.

Have you edited any of the .gamedatabundle files in the exported folders prior? it must have been this. I was trying to figure out modding and doing it with vscode - i think my computer restarted at one point with the files opened and formatted and they probably "saved" that way - i saw some things go wrong in game and eventually did a clean install. And now it worked perfectly. Thanks!

My position at work might be being eliminated due to the department shifting around but I have an interview for a replacement in the same organization on Thursday and another at an external one in the works (the latter would actually be several steps higher and a decent pay raise so I'm honestly more interested in that, although it also depends on who gives me what offer when). So, while the prospect of possibly being temporarily jobless isn't ideal, things could be worse given the situation and I'm also in a field that is growing rather than shrinking despite the questionable economy and job market.

Wow! To me, this is the most interesting piece of game content related news in some two years. I never knew this was there.

Strange, none of the companions warmed up to me that fast. But now I told Karlach I wanted to find a way to cool her off and now she won't rejoin the party. She just says "I'm waiting" and there is no more dialogue or the option to rejoin. I guess I shouldn't have picked the more daring romance options just before that. She literally can't think about anything else now. And to think Lae'zel started the day saying: "Abomination, this is your end."

So a few days ago I clicked on a video that I thought was about one thing and turned out it was a "cancer journey" vlog. The person was charismatic and inspirational and I ended up watching the whole video. Anyway the main point is for no reason early this morning I chose turn on my other PC and check my email, something I haven't done in oh, a couple months. My brother's - who I haven't seen/talked to in over a year I think (my remaining family and I are not close etc) - plus all the extended family CC'd emails filled my digital mailbox. My niece - she's probably in her late 30's - apparently has brain cancer. They removed most of the original tumor/doing radiation etc. now but it's still progressing faster than expected/hoped for. Life is strangely coincidental - or something - at times. Edit: I can't do age maths.

A little bit of STO and not much else. I abandoned my BG3 game in the first act and haven't felt the desire to get back to it. I want to wait for DLC before doing another Wrath run. I'm also taking a break from JA3 just because I've already beaten it 3 times and am a little burned out.

Finished the game. Was ok. Last levels had some stupid stuff. Skipped probably over half of act3 because I couldn't be bothered.
