  4. My world is plagued due to a bug at the trash heap biome. For some reason the game started lagging. It got worse and worse. My friends and I didn’t know why. One of my friends stumbled upon the trash heap where food was spawning constantly, this crashing our game. Apparently, a black ant killed a wevill and the food somehow glitched. This problem persisted over multiple sessions. No we didn’t cause this. We’re upset. Put a lot of effort into our world. We’ve tried “fix game” and re loading the game. Nothing. Now I’m reaching out for help. To see if we can get a deb to fix this problem. Please let us know. Sharingon777

  7. I really liked the first season of "the devil is a part timer"/"Hataraku Maou-sama" so I was quite stoked to see the second season, just released after ten years. Duke Nukem Forever was less of a dissapointment after the ten year wait.

  8. its simple real politik really. 'West' is maybe 1/4 of the world. So to keep in game we need to be friendly even with those we would rather not as long as they don't do anything too stopid. Because if we don't - someone else will and it can be much worse for us and for them as well (probably). West of course want to expand itself but problem is that west is also relatively democratic so you need to deal with internal politics as well. Thats why there is this push for 'democratisation' of others so they can join the 'West'.

  9. I'm over the whole voice acting kerfuffle. I wish Helena Taylor and Jennifer Hale luck in their future endeavors (endeavours for our British forumites) and I'm going to be playing Bayonetta 3 on Friday, assuming my copy gets delivered on time.

  10. The West is certainly not perfect, but the big difference is you can complain about the Western countries while living in those Western Countries and not get arrested by the Western governments. It's a pretty big difference. Also, habeas corpus.

  11. The patch notes for 1.0.4 state mutations are not required due to one being impossible to achieve in single player. I am playing 1.0.4.3941 Rel on Steam. I have all mutations (and they are all max rank) except for "Reliable Friend" and my end game report card (99%) hint states that I need to unlock more mutations.

  12. After spending many hours playing the open beta, my brother and I decided to do our first 1.0 run on Whoa! difficulty. It was a challenge at first, which was great because that's what we were looking for with this playthrough. However, as we've hit end-game in the upper yard with all our gear at 7+ we've come to a disappointing realization: maxed out equipment is not enough to make combat against the "hardest" enemies a tedious slog to burn through huge hp bars. Some of the boss fights have more mechanics and thus are still quite fun (Asst. Manager and the Director spring to mind) but most are just an exercise in perfect blocking predictable attacks, chugging beefy smoothies, and watching huge hitbars slowly chip away unless you optimize your build. Throughout the playthrough, we've relied on the wiki for details on what exactly armor and weapon perks actually do because the game only provides vague descriptions and useless bars. Optimizing our damage to speed up slow encounters would have been impossible without players data mining game files. Now in the latest patch, a handful of nerfs were dealt to some of the strongest end-game builds (poison and staffs) with the clear intention of maintaining combat difficulty in the end-game. On principle that's a fine design goal; grounded isn't a power fantasy it's a survival game. However, if devs are determined to keep combat challenging, it is only fair that players be provided with the necessary knowledge to overcome those challenges within the game's UI. It's not enough to know a perk activates "occasionally," we need exact percentages in the item description. It's not enough to know an item does 10 bars of damage and has 3 bars of speed. We need actual double-digit numbers to understand a weapon's strengths and weaknesses. It's not enough to know a trait debuffs an enemy's attack, we need to know not only the numeric value of that debuff, but also its duration. It is unfair to the player base that gear is nerfed and enemies are buffed while not providing concrete numbers on the tools given to defeat those challenges. If the developers want item info and UI elements that are minimalistic and immersive, then players should feel powerful no matter what weapons they choose because it's not about the details, it's about the fantasy. But if the devs want the players to struggle to survive throughout the full duration of the game, then they owe their players specific game mechanic data so we can work towards more optimal builds. We shouldn't have to rely on data mining wikis (which are frequently out of date and thus false) to build strong strategies. That info needs to be in the game itself, lest the whole game feel like a battle with the developers instead of the backyard.

  13. This is a very random suggestion but ever since the initial stage of Grounded my friend and I would joke about how you should be able to pick up toenails and make armor out of them. To my surprise, toenails actually ended up being added to the game as a key story item nonetheless. However, you unfortunately cannot make grotesque armor out of them. Any chance you guys could make my day and add this completely useless feature?

  15. After the update “1.0.4”, whenever I go to kill an enemy, my run cycle goes from fast to walking speed and my walking speed even slower. It only fixes itself when I close out the entire game. If I don’t hit any enemies, I’m fine.

  18. Wow, you suggested this over a month ago. That is how slowly I go through my watch list. This is indeed very good. I also found it funny when I recognized some voice actors and checked the others I didn't. Natsume has the same voice as Raphtalia from Rising of the Shield Hero and they have similar personalities. Reina's is the same as Hestia's from Is It Dangerous to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon and I recognized it as soon as the character started shouting at someone. One of the guys has the same voice as Narancia from JoJo and another one of the boys, Kosuke, has the same actor as... Ermes Costello's from Stone Ocean.

  19. I think I read it's 3, but now Reddit says Owlcat's PR for reddit said it's 5. Which is of course much better, especially for Liches. Albeit Swarm should have interesting times too. I bet there would be all-you-can-eat buffet.

  20. Sable. While still lovely, the game is getting slightly repetitive. I suppose, it is a very minimalistic version of Conan: Exiles - no combat or crafting. The MC can stand in fire, get hit by lightning, and fall from 20+ metres without any consequences. Though, admittedly I've been mostly travelling, instead of going straight for quest objectives or looking for dungeons/space ships. On the other hand, the last quest I've picked is to gather 3 pieces of excrements and before that 3 crystals. But the writing is still quite nice - stylistically consistent, fitting, and of reasonable length.

  22. I'd much rather my country (USA) fight to defend Taiwan than quite a few of our so-called (Western) allies. Taiwan is one of the very few places outside the West where meaningful democracy and individual liberty exists, and for me that is worth defending, especially against a tyranny like the PRC.

  23. If you put it all together, and delete it, the game goes back to normal, I did that and it worked, and I closed it with a wall of grass, the ants don't pass through it anymore and that doesn't happen anymore, it solved for me, until they fixed the game , because it was impossible to play.

  24. Same dude, this is what I saw outside of trash heap in the east side where you swim under a couple bags… ants were carrying apple and hotdog bits, trying I guess to pathfind through here despite the water and ending up dropping the food and going back nearby for more. Checked and Is happening in two different shared worlds I have.

  25. Oh, I don't know, you're a racist and don't like Indians? But maybe - maybe! - because they still let them scam their own people, apparently, even after being served evidence on a silver platter. Tough, dunno, I'm going with racist here. Racist!

  26. LOL, so the Citadel DLC takes place in Chapter 3, when your "loved one" is plural and before Liches and Swarms do things that they do? Coulda put it in Chapter 4 then, Alushinyrra sure knows how to party, 'sides, such a missed chance for Staunton and Minagho's reunion and ~wacky hijinks~ that would follow

  27. Do you have links around why these mini-celebrities were arrested, I am always interested when freedom of speech in Western countries is infringed on But as long as the hotties from Juice Media aren't arrested Im happy

  28. My mouth has occasionally gotten me into trouble (since early childhood), but I wouldn't change my nature to appease a government. Besides, the current government isn't too bad. Those who got arrested were more prominent Youtube mini-celebs who called out the corruption of the right wing government. It wasn't only the few independent media, that Morrsion sic'ed the federal police on in order to silence them.

  29. 1) I haven't finished the game yet (in act v, working my way towards a place called Iz, slowly and steadily) and 2) I never played "real" rpgs, as in actual table top gaming sessions with a DM. But, while struggling through puzzles and getting increasingly annoyed (to put it very mildly, I'll leave out the cussing) with the number and complexity of them, I remember friends from my youth who did play table top rpg. One thing they discussed once was puzzles. If your character has Int 32, the character should be able to solve the puzzle for the player. The character should not struggle just because the player doesn't have Int 32. Similar 4th wall breaking stuff doesn't seem to happen with other stats. Ah, your barbarian needs to remove that boulder at the entrance? Be a good sport and go out in the garden and pick up a 200kg rock to show the player can do it just as well as his character At least let Nenio or some other high Int character give you more clues to the solution (instead of google).

  31. To be honest your comment makes no sense, you were talking about how you enjoy the combat because if you are skilled enough you can perfect block and be rewarded for your skills. Then you say you need a roll dodge to control spacing but can't you perfect block then back up a little? And they nerfed a few items and abilities, so they aren't as powerful, and so that other abilities and set pieces get a bit more usage. I personally enjoy not having to go for one specific set and one specific weapon and use only a few mutations in order to play the game. It is supposed to be challenging, if you don't like the challenge lower the difficulty.

  33. through the ashes advanced on rails, but it offered the most unique and intriguing gameplay elements o' any owlcat dlc offering thus far... and in our opinion it were arguable more impressive from a design pov than the main campaigns o' the two released pathfinder games. example: is one map where we fought almost not at all as we would lure one set o' enemies into combat with otherwise difficult monster encounters, at which point the baddies would murder each other as 'posed to Gromnir. a few o' the non-combat solutions were scripted and skill-based, but as with the cubes v undead scenario we just mentioned, other gameplay solutions were less obvious. design o' ashes were at times frustrating and even stoopid, but it were also creative and offered a glimpse o' future possibilities for a owlcat pathfinder crpg. the lowest pathfinder levels is often frustrating, with a single goblin/kobold/skeleton spear attack critical capable o' killing your wizard or sorc with a single strike. also, the difficulty o' ashes were a bit more noticeable than the main campaign. combine low-level inherent lethal + increased difficulty and ashes were bordering on less than fun when we played on hard and am gonna highly recommend playing no higher than core for anybody who ain't experimented with it thus far. positive: a second ashes dlc means am gonna be less likely stuck in a level range where even on core we feel horses and leopards is quasi-essential additions to a party am genuine looking forward to through the ashes 2nd installment. HA! Good Fun!

  34. Experiencing these same issues, can’t get through ONE minute of gameplay without being kicked. When is the patch due? At this point it feels like a game that hasn’t been developed completely, and should be waited to play.

  35. Sinclair Broadcast Group, AFAIK. They do "Must Run Segments" on the stations they own where the news departments have no choice but to run it, verbatim, on their news broadcasts. They're the second largest television operator in the US. They also are so conservative they blur cleavage on women when they run old movies or bluring them because they don't have a bra on. 70s films are almost unwatchable on their digital network channels (Comet, Charge!)

  36. The issue there is that her UI is treated like the other animal companions which of course cannot cast spells, ie collapsed by default. And no, I didn't go and check if Thog the horse and Dino Nychus the velociraptor could cast spells last night, because that would be silly. You also don't level her up as you do for everyone else so you don't get to 'see' her getting spells. It makes perfect sense that she does from a lore/ world point of view though so yeah, but the game doesn't exactly give you much reason to think about that in context or on a more meta basis. Also did some more Act 5 stuff

  37. I'm lazy and when I reassign spells for my characters I click on all of them, one at a time, just to make sure I'm not missing anyone (instead of simply going straight to the ones I know have spell slots). That's how I noticed Aivu had cantrips. Although she couldn't cast them, I also noticed she had a caster level, concentration and all stats, so I kept checking to see if she could cast spells. That is how I didn't miss it. Didn't play much yesterday. I talked with people in the brothel and Aivu was spared from any improprieties. The only person with inappropriate behavior* was an old acquaintance of Arue's, but he was rightly intimidated into oblivion. *That was a blessing, considering what Chivarro said and the type of creatures that frequent that place. Imagine if one of those floating meatballs and the nabasu were engaging in any activities...
