  1. Eh, it's mostly the back of the head. Kind of a dip in the center, if you put both hands back there, it sorta feels like the back of my skull has rounded corners, haha, so my imagination goes wild thinking what it would look like with zero hair. The forehead/front is ok. Anyway, I didn't totally buzz it all yet, it's all mostly maybe 1/4 to 1/2 inch long. I didn't originally want white-scalp-syndrome. The trimmer is annoying when trying to keep things even because angle/pressure you keep making thinner/shorter spots etc. I slipped and one side of the neck is near shaved and the other side not and ... am debating whether to actually near-shave all of it so it doesn't look all scrunchy-weird. Pfft. If I do that I'll try to get pick of the back of head or something. Oh and ... why not hand the trimmer to hubby, you ask? Because ... that would not be any challenge fun. Y'know, since my hair was black, it is/would be really hard/damaging to first bleach then color-dye it. So I never did. But now. Maybe time for some of these? Time to Amazon-shop!

  2. Considering how people drive on the roads around here, Id sooner trust a fusion reactor in my back yard than I would a bunch of people in flying cars.

  4. Finished a rough draft of a short script, so I watched an episode of AoT to relax. It's intriguing but has one of my pet peeves, naked monsters with no genitals. Minor thing though, but weird when you think about it. I'm going to try to watch Boyhood this weekend because I recently got into an internet debate over Richard Linklater being a better director than Tarantino (which he clearly is tbh, Tarantino needs an editor to tell him when to stop) but after that I'll watch more anime.

  6. This reminds me that I want to re-watch Memories at some point...it left an impression, but my memories of it are hazier than I'd like, possibly due to the format of three ~40 minute films in one. Sakura:

  8. Just checked in game to be sure: doesn't work - as expected. Not with Gouging Strike anyway and of course not with Body Blows. I guess he used some weapon with Gouging Strike that could have applied it in an AoE. Maybe Amra's Wanton/Riven Gore does this. Checked: nope. And Body Blows just seems to have been speculation. Or... I didn' check Accurate Carnage... wait a sec... Checked: nope. Maybe a mod?

  11. About 10 days ago I started this project simply because I wanted to do a modded POTD run and I wanted to properly plan for it. But instead of looking for a pen and paper I started looking for a spreadsheet and when I couldn't exactly find what I was looking for, I decided to make one instead. It was fun having a small project like this and I'm glad how it turned out to be. What it does: Allows you to make a character at any level of your choice. You can choose active and passive abilities based on class restrictions and it also gives you a summary of your character without any buffs. Tab 1 is strictly for player character only therefore it will not feature companion only subraces, cultures, backgrounds and so on. Tabs will automatically rename to their corresponding character's name, so in a sense it gives you a pseudo party view once you're done with all of them. I also tried to guide the user as much as I could, for example, you will not be able to put more skill points than you should have or you can't put more than 18 or less than 3 points into a single attributes, but obviously your total attributes can exceed those numbers. Most cells are auto-populated so it actually requires very little input from the user. What it doesn't do: At the moment it can't differentiate between an adventurer and a companion. So the user is expected to know that stuff like Watershaper or Principi sen Patrena shouldn't be selected for non companion party members. It also can't give you a description of selected passive or active abilities, so the user is expected to know what they actually do beforehand, currently I have no idea how I can overcome this. What it might do in the future: Ideally in the future I'd like to add weapon proficiencies and their modals as well as a list of all unique items. And maybe eventually turn it into a full on equipment manager which would be very nice because then you would be able to see your buffed stats. Go to File > Make a Copy Unfortunately at the moment I have no plans of making one (converting this one) for the first game. Leave a message here or just DM me if you think something is not working the way it should or if you have an idea. It has very few scripts and after the initial load it should be quite fast to use.

  12. I watched Fateful Findings. First off, this is how the movie arrived: You know you're about to watch a top quality motion picture when it comes in a blank jewel case. What can I say about this movie... It's... It's baffling more than anything else. It's not a particularly funny bad movie, though I did get some laughs, particularly at the end, but it doesn't even come close to being as funny as Samurai Cop, for example (admittedly, that's an extremely high bar to clear). It's confusing, but in a strangely engaging way. The acting is awful, as expected. Stuff just happens. We go from scene to scene to scene with nothing remotely approaching set ups or transitions. Neil Breen plays Dylan, who's an author. When he was a kid he and his friend Leah found a box in the woods and it had a magic (?) rock in it. He has magic powers, I think (because of the rock?), and he's pretending to be working on a book but is instead secretly hacking into everything on his multitude of non-functional laptops to expose corruption. The whole thing is a confusing mess. The ending, though, and Dylan's stirring speech... *chef kiss* Magnifique! Also, if you ever wanted to see a naked Neil Breen in a tarp cave, I have some great news for you. I think I will order Pass Thru next. Sadly, he no longer sells Double Down nor I Am Here... Now, so I have no idea how I could procure those.

  13. [–]ElricGalad 2 points il y a 7 heures Yep, only way to do that is through AoE special attack such as Clear Out, Heart of Fury or Whirling Strikes As you can see on the reddit thread, you don't have too. Except if you want to upvote the post

  15. I made guac. Avocado, garlic, tomato, serrano pepper, bacon, salt, pepper, and lime juice. Preparing it fresh makes all the difference, it's exponentially better than anything premade at the store.

  16. Well, that was strange but good. Also, I got mixed up on what you said - it's not Sakura, but Tomoyo who has the same voice as her. Phew. Also ignoring that the way she was skipping was just like her...yeah, still kind of creepy.

  18. there is a significant downside to the talking filibuster, which is why the rule were changed. a filibuster where minority senators need actual debate issues *gasp* stops all legislative business. we ended up with the silent filibuster 'cause the majority were tired o' a minority being able to hold up all legislative business. an obstructionist party may use filibuster to cripple Congress, which is kinda what mitch wants, yes? am in favor of bringing back debate and having folks like mitch mcconnell and ted cruz explain why, even though democrats agreed to all republican demands during negotiations for the proposed bipartisan january 6 investigation, republicans were nevertheless opposed to empowering a commission to look into causes o' the insurrection as well as considering preventative measures to avoid a future similar event. heck, way more than simple majority o' republicans polled believe january 6 were caused by antifa, blm and democrats. shouldn't they want an investigation to prove such malfeasance? 'course any sorta meaningful investigation is gonna make republicans look bad. is a reason kevin mccarthy has been dodging questions 'bout his phone call with the President on January 6. paul gosar, mo brooks and andy biggs were all instrumental in organizing the stop the steal rally on january 6 which preceded the insurrection, and am suspecting they do not want their dirty laundry aired and they sure as heck don't wanna be subpoenaed to explain a few o' their texts and emails. we warned folks following january 6 that get trump for incitement would be tough, but conspiracy to incite violence is another question entirely, and trump's failure in his duty to protect Congress also needs explanation. trump speech may be protected, but his actions still would normal have consequences. etc. mitch, as we noted earlier in the thread, is taking a rational and transactional approach. in anticipation o' the midterms, mitch needs to prevent democrats from being able to brag 'bout positives o' the biden administration, so he is gonna obstruct to an extreme degree. likewise, mitch wants to undercut and delay the truth 'bout how corrupt were the trump administration. a talky filibuster has the potential of working to mitch's advantage as he wants the senate handicapped. am in favor o' a talky filibuster. make senators speak in defense o' their actions at 3:00am is gonna lead to more than a few moments o' schadenfreude. gd likes memes. a talky filibuster is gonna be a meme goldmine. even so, am recognizing is not all good news for the majority to reinstate the talky filibuster. the fact a majority got rid o' the talky filibuster should give democrats pause before they embrace such a change. those who do not learn from history... HA! Good Fun!

  20. Apart from the fact that people on reddit are .... special: How did you read carnage applying body body blows out of that thread? Ik the title is very misleading but the guy never claimed that anything but gouging strike got applied in an aoe. Any Aoe weapon applies abilities on Aoe, just not modals.

  21. A literary one, I'd say. His directing is less of an issue than his writing, in my opinion. Just look at From Dusk Til Dawn as proof. That film is so Tarantino that most people assume he directed, while that was Robert Rodriguez, someone who consistently made films that I enjoyed more* than any Tarantino offering. Except maybe Sin City, that can go rot in hell along with Pulp Fiction. I don't mind nonlinear narratives, but if you want to make three short films into one feature film offering, then... well, no, just don't do that. *By that I mean not wanting to pull my hair out while watching, at least. Machete was also pretty hilarious and entertaining, and that's pretty much all I require of films like that. Regarding Boyhood, keep in mind... Hahaha.

  26. Awesome to see the community still engaged in this endeavor. I've been out of the loop for a while - so I should get the new community patch + @Elric Galad's polish mod? Thanks for adding Frost to Spirit Tornado. I've wanted to play a Warlock or Tempest that's not Fire or Electric based so that small bonus is welcome.
