Since it's more game company news than game specific, but did you folks see that CD Project Red have already made back the money they invested in Cyberpunk? Apparently the eight million pre-orders and day one sales earned them over the cost of producing the game. So the company made the decision to actually pay all bonuses rather than hold them to the criteria of critic / metacritic review thresholds. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2020-12-11/cd-projekt-changes-developer-bonus-structure-after-buggy-release2 points

It's the small things. Talking a guy down from rabid cyberpsychosis PTSD, persuading him he shouldn't turn into lone assassin / terrorist as he should remember being an honorable soldier... Then you turn away, walk through a door and suddenly Boom from behind, turn around, and find the guy had decided to instead commit suicide. It's cyberpunk. It's rare to get a clean right/wrong approach to things.1 point

Yeah, I watched Suicide Squad about a week ago too. I rolled my eyes fairly hard at the whole "outcasts and pariahs coming together as family", but the upside was definitely the acting, especially Will Smith who obviously had fun playing Deadshot. A pity that neither he nor Jared Leto are signed on for the sequel. All in all a bit of good, silly fun.1 point

Bought and watched "Suicide Squad". It was fun. Not pretending to be any Haute Couture, just a good old fashioned action romp (Dirty Dozen Lite). Story was weak in several places (hey, it's a super hero universe, no big surprises there), but the acting was generally good and while some characters felt tacked on as the token characters, most of them were interesting enough. Special fx were decent. Not bad for an approx 6 us dollars dvd purchase. I know I've spent a lot more money on way worse entertainment.1 point

I am enjoying the game more than I expected, really. I was always a bit put off playing Geralt in The Witcher games, but so far this feels a lot more engaging from a story and character perspective. Bugs are one thing, but I don't really understand most of the other complaints. It is a pretty fantastic world to explore.1 point

For anyone using a Ryzen CPU, looks like the game was compiled using Intel's compiler which 'accidentally' gimps AMD performance (no SMT usage being most common symptom). If anyone wants to 'fix' performance on AMD you'll have to do the AuthenticAMD <--> GenuineAMD trick which tells the game you're using an Intel chip. that literally changes the flag that tells the game whether its an AMD or Intel chip, for up to 30% free performance in CPU limited situations (so practically, higher minimums and less stutter rather than 30% higher average fps). I'd laugh like a maniac if that were the reason for the poor performance on ps4/ xbone, though at least the backlash there might be enough to stop anyone using Intel's compiler.1 point

By the way: Chanters won't stop chanting even if withdrawn by a Priest. So you can block a doorway with a withdrawn Chanter who's still singing phrases while withdrawn, and once he emerges from Withdraw he's usually ready to cast an invocation. Also Preservation items (+50 to all defenses when stunned or prone) will trigger when withdrawn, giving the Chanter +50 to all defenses minus the stun debuff. Even +100 if you stack a preservation shield with another preservation item. Now you ask why that's any good because the Chanter is withdrawn anyway. I only say "Defensive Mindweb".1 point

You can use wand/rod/scepter and one of the best already comes rel. early in Defiance Bay (Engwithan Scepter). Gyrd Háewanes Sténes comes even earlier and without any fight. I would use those as backup though because as I said, Blast + Penetrating Blast are most powerful with Kalakoth's Minor Blights. It it correct that using Minor Blights will spare you a lot of other damaging spells. You invest 1 spell use for the whole fight (maybe 2 or 3 because Chillfog and Combusting Wounds are just too good) but usually one shot of Blights + Blast does the same damage as a damaging spell cast at lower levels. Later on the combination woth Pull of Eora is also very powerful. ALso note that Klakoth's Minor Blights have a pretty insane inherent accuracy bonus which is extremely benefical in the early(ish) game. Weapon Focus is one of the most effective talents you can take early in the game if you plan to use weapons more than occasionally. Having to overcome a different defense than the one that gets lowered is the biggest advantage. Aspirant's Mark is also good because it is accessible very early on and it's 1/enounter which means that Wizards can contribute to a fight without spending spell uses (besides Arcane Assault which is decent). Of curse you could rest after each fight and then it doesn't matter, but I find that to be a rather boring approach. That's for you do decide. It will give you +20% implement damage which is great for Kalakoth's Minor Blights - since all the AoE hits of it will profit (additional cascade of Blast hits will NOT) while it will give you some self damage with every shot (watch out if combining with Alacrity spell which also does harm you). It would stack with Apprentice's Sneak Attack (+15%). You can turn it on and off at will (modal). You confused Penetrating Shot and Penetrating Blast. Penetrating Shot will give you 5 DR bypass on ranged weapon attacks (and some spells like missiles for example) and will slow your ranged weapon recovery down by 20% (not spell recovery) - and doesn't work with Blasts. Penetrating Blast only works for the Blasts (DR bypass) and has no downsides. Reason why I recommend it is because the Cascade of Minor Blights + Blast generates so many Blast hits that the accumulated damage by DR bypass is often enormous. Let's assume you manage to hit 5 enemies in front of your tank who's guarding a doorway with Minor Blights: 5 hit rolls with Minor Blights, each dealing their normal elemental damage, then each of those hit rolls generates a Blast which hits all 5 enemies --> 25 Blast hit rolls. Lets assume the enemies' crush DR is 5 and Blast does 10 crush damage. Without Penetrating Blast you would deal 125 crush damage and with Penetrating Shot you would have dealt 250. That's quite substancial. Add to this that you can do such a shot every few seconds... Penetrating Shot can be good - but it depends on the situation. With Minor Blights and if you use Alacrity (50% speedup) it's usually a win if you can manage to hit several enemies at once with the Blight's AoE. When hitting 5 enemies you'll do 25 additional damage. You would have to do some math in order to determine once the slower attack speed would result in less damage then... With implements that apply an effect on hit you usually want to fire as fast as possible though - so Penetrating Shot wouldn't be the best pick then. To estimate your attack speed with several weapons, modals, items and setups in general you can use this: https://naijaro.github.io/poe-speed-calculator/ For simulating the Alacrity spell you can use the option "DAoM potion" (same thing basically). Note that only DEX affects the actual attack animation speed. All other speed modifiers only affect the recovery phase. The more speed effects you can stack the more impact (increasing returns), but not all do stack. Usually for melee wizard (which can be great) Citzal's Spirit Lance is the holy grail. So no sword & board (althoug that would work as well, for example with this build here: Bilestomper). Spirit Lance is one of the best weapons in the game (reach, highest base damage + AoE damage) - but Apprentice's Sneak Attack only works with the initial hit, not the splash damage (still a good pick imo, also Savage Attack once you have some ACC buffs in the party).1 point

Quick slots: Potions of Spirit Shield®, Potions of Major Regeneration, Potions of Flame Shield(!), Scrolls of Jolting Touch(!) ----------------------------------------------------------------- Hey! The Monksterlasher completely evolves around amassing and exploiting lashes using weapon attacks with Bittercut as well as burning retaliations like Flame shield and Battle Forged. I took a monk to do this because of several good reasons: 1. Monks can have very high endurance and health. If you want do use Battle Forged, you want to have those high. If you don't, you will have to rest a lot. 2. Monks can have three lashes besides weapon enchantments: Turning Wheel, Lightning Strikes and also a raw lash from Blood Testment Gloves (monk-only gloves). And of course, they can enchant their weapons with a lash, too. 3. Monk's Turning Wheel and also Blood Testment (not Lightning Strikes) work with retaliation! Not only the normal one, but also Battle Forged as well as Flame Shield. That means that with 10 wounds your Battle Forged retaliation will have additional +50% burn damage and + 20% raw damage lashes. Since Battle Forged starts pretty whimpy but gets very powerful at higher levels (scaling) this leads to very high damage via burning retaliaion. Flame Shields retaliation (+50%/+20%) adds to this if you drink a potion 4. Battle Forged + Turning Wheel profit from Scion of Flame. So you will get initial 120% burn damage. This is used to calculate the lash damage of Turning Wheel and Blood Testament. So they get increased, too. ON top of that Turning Wheels' lash damage also gets pimped by 20%. So alltogether you will get this: 120% burn damage + 60% (72%) burning lash + 20% (24%) raw lash (if you calculate the lashes with a base damage of 120% it's 72/24 instead of 60/20 - how you look at it). 5. Turning Wheel and Blood Testment work with Jolting Touch! It's amazing: you hit three enemies with high shock damage and do +50% burning +20% raw lash on top. It makes Jolting Touch so good. Also works with Scion of Flame so that Turning Wheel's damage is 60%. Add Heart of the Storm and not only your Lightning Strikes will do 30% lashes instead of 25%, but also Jolting Touch's damage will be boosted. This has the same effect as with Scion of Flame + Battle Forged + Turning Wheel. Only now it's Heart of the Storm + Jolting Touch + Scion of Flame + Turning Wheel That's the reason why I chose Azureith's Stiletto for my second weapon slot: It procs Jolting Touch on a crit. I also wanted to have 2 Lore of the scrolls. It's a good way to do some AoE damage without using wounds and stay at 10 wounds for maximum lash damage. 6. Torment's Reach adds a 50% crushing lash to the initial target. It's another lash and just awesome. Besides that it's AoE is superbig with high INT and adds a lot of AoE damage. 7. Monks can have unlimited Full Attacks as long as they have wounds. So a dual wielding setup doesn't suffer from low DEX and armor very much because... Full Attacks, you know. This allowed my to dump DEX altogether. I could then maximize MIG, CON and INT. MIG for myed self healing and damage, CON because it has a great effect on monks because of their heigh base end and health. I need a lot of endurance an health if I want to make Battle Forge worthwhile and not rest all the time. And INT to maximize the durations of self heling, buffs and Torment's Reach's AoE cone. 8. Monks can reach crazy high DR which can balance out the lower deflection I have with two sabres and somewhat low RES. But since I want to have a high wound counter and want to receive damage, Iron Wheel is pretty nice to add a lot of DR while getting hit so that only MIN damage comes through. Those are the reason why I combine the concept of lashes with a monk and not a... paladin or whatever. So why Bittercut? Because it has two damage types and because Bittercut's base damage gets buffed by Spirit of Decay. That's because it has the damage type corrode/slash (the order is important). In this case Spirit of Decay works as an +20% addition to base damage, EVEN if slash damage and not corrode damage is applied. I don't know why (I think the explanation lies somewhere in the structure of the code) but it's like that. So on top of things like high MIG, Savage Attack and whatever boosts your weapon damage, Spirit of Decay also adds +20% to that. Besides Stormcaller and the summoned weapons Firebrand, Cadebald's Blackbow and Klakoth's Minor Blights it's the only weapon that does this and is suitable for a dual wielding monk at the same time. Weapons like Durance's Staff don't work like this because they have crush/burn (like I said: the order matters). This makes Spirit of Decay a much better option than Savage Attacks by the way. So that's the reason I took Scion of Flame, Spirit of Decay AND Heart of the Storm. It sounds like a waste of talent points, but after testing this build a lot I don't have the feeling it is. I will just quickly list those talents and what they can influence on this build: a) Scion of Flame: - Battle Forged: +20% burn damage (which also influences the damage of all attached lashes) - Flame Shield: +20% burn damage (see above) - Turning Wheel: +60% lash instead of +50% - Burning Lash (Bittercut, if chosen): +30% lash instead of +25% - Chanter's Burning Lash (if in party): +30% instead of +25% b) Heart of the Storm: - Jolting Touch: +20% shock damage (which also influences the damage of all attached lashes) - Lightning Strikes: +30% shock damage instead of +25% - Shocking Lash (Bittercut, if chosen): +30% lash damage instead of 25% c) Spirit of Decay: - Bittercut: +20% corrode/slash damage (which also... and so on) - Corrosive Lash (Bittercut, if chosen): 30% lash instead of 25% So - because of this it doesn't really matter which lash you put on Bittercut. Shocking, burning or corrosive work equally well. If you have a Stormcaller guy in the party you might want to choose shocking lashes maybe. If you like burning lashes more go for that. If you want to hurt every enemy no matter what immunities you probably go for one burning and one shocking lash (so you have corrosive/slash + burning lash + shocking lash damage with one weapon setup). Let's see what additional damage and lashes we have when we use Torment's Reach: Two times weapon attack (Full Attack)... + 20% from Spirit of Decay + 20% from Savage Attack + 33% from 21 MIG + 45% from the "Superb" enchantment + eventually +15% from Apprentice's Sneak Attack (Enervating Blows help) + eventually +50% from crit this combined damage gets used when calculated: + 60% burnig lash from Turning Wheel + 50% crushing lash from Torment's Reach + 30% shocking lash from Lightning Strikes + 30% (shocking/burning/corrosive) lash from enchantment you put on the weapon + 20% raw lash from Blood Testament + eventually +30% burning lash from chanter this results in +118% weapon damage +220% lash damage against 0 DR. You could also use Vulnerable Attack to lower enemies' DR - it doesn't slow you down that much because of the Full Attacks (I did it first but later retrained - so it's not in the build now). Plus you hit a lot of enemies with Torment's Reach AoE. But you also lower your wound counter - so every hit will be weaker than the first if you don't get wounds while attacking. Luckily, whe have tons of endurance and health because of the Iron Cirlce and our base CON. So we can affort to get hit a bit. With Flame Shield we can do the following additional damage while getting hit: + 20% from Scion of Flame + 33% from MIG + 20% from Savage Attack + 15% from Apprentice Sneak Attack (eventually) + 50% from crit (eventually) this combine gets used when calculated: + 60% burnimg lash from Turning Wheel + 20% raw lash from Blood Testment + 30% burning lash from chanter's chant (eventually) Once we hit 50% endurance, Battle Forged kicks in which does the same as Flame Shield (they don't suppress each other) but with much higher base damage at higher levels. This is extremely powerful once you get pommeled so often that you might have to fear that you're getting knocked out. Suddenly you retaliate with more than 100 burn/raw damage with normal ret. hits and a lot more with crits. On top of that comes Flame Shield which is basically half that much damage. This melts foes who insist to hit you - while you use Torment's Reach or Jolting Touch to kill them even more quickly. As a side effect, your DR gets raised by 4, adds to the Iron Wheel (+10) and also to your armor. Your armor value might also be strengthened by Iron Circle. So, that's +14 to your armor, not bad. Enervating Blows also work with all of this - so a lot of foes will be weakened either by your weapon attacks or the retaliations which makes it easier for Apprentice's Sneak Attack to kick in and also makes it easier to send foes prone with Force of Anguish. I do this when I have the feeling that I get beaten too much. All this results in pretty insane damage while you can tank a lot of enemies because of high endurance, DR and great healing mods. I use Fulvano's Amulet with +25% and a +60% healing bonus from camping. This is great when you have any char in your party who heals. Down below I say something about self heals when you want to solo (or don't have healers). But a potion of Major Regeneration always works wonders with this healing mods. If you want to lob Fireballs or other elemental AoE spells onto your Monksterlasher you can do that, too: he has additional +4 DR against burn, shock and corrode damage because of the elemental talents. So it would be +14 or even +18 DR against such spells. Interrupts can be a problem if you send this guy first. So either you have a priest with you or you use potions of Spirit Shield. As i said: For healing I use my party members or potions. In a party that's totally cool. This build is also suitable for soloing. But you might want to get Veteran's Recovery instead of Apprentice's Sneak Attack and Flagellant's Path instead of Envenomed Strike or Force of Anguish (great for escaping when you're surrounded completely and your endurance drops too fast). Also, use an item which raises Concentration and also consider to use Shod-in-Faith. This way you will be near unkillable as long as your self heals work and you have health left. After that Battle Forged can help to clear up the rest of the mob. Also, more Lore is useful when you're solo. Skip Athletics and put more points into Lore when you're solo. He Carries Many Scars's regeneration has no time limit by the way and also adds a lot of DR when your health is low - ao maybe this is a good armor when you're solo. Another thing I discovered lately and which made me choose Force of Anguish: when you use Azureith's Stiletto and use it for Force of Anguish and it crits while doing that... all three enemies who get hit by Jolting Touch also go prone! Hilarious! I have no idea why and it's certainly a bug - but a nice one. OK, have fun. I liked this build a lot. It's tanky and does great dps at the same time, even when disabled (switch to shield setup then!). tl;dr: So the essence of this build is that Battle Forged, Flame Shield and Jolting Touch and of course Torment's Reach work with Turning Wheel and Blood Testament gloves, which makes it worthwhile to take three of the four elemental booster talents if you also use Bittercut as main weapon(s) Edit (24.06.2016): Corrected a thing about Vulnerable Attack - it was still in the text despite the fact that I retrained and skipped it. Thanks to sibakroum for pointing this out. Edit (18.09.2016): I wrote Envenomed Strike instead of Enervating Blows a few times - sorry for that, I corrected it.1 point

OK. So after probably over 10 play throughs and 1000 hours of gameplay I would like to finally discuss what I and everyone else thinks the most powerful classes and builds are. Now is a great time to clarify this because there will be no more meaningful patches and the game is completely end stage and a lot of people have finished playing it, Most Powerful By Far Contenders: 1. Fire Priest: - Build a Priest with Maximum Might and Dexterity, acquire the Maegfolc Skull (+4 might), Abydons Hammer (+4 might), get the Scion of flame talent, cast minor Avatar (+8 every stat) and then just sit back and watch everything around you burn. With Minor Avatar activated your buffs and debuffs are also super charged and Abydons Hammer will give you something like a 20 sec area of affect stun that can be used per encounter. This is my No.1 most powerful build. The only problem with it is when you encounter enemies with a high burn DR although you will be dealing such huge amounts of damage you will usually punch through the DR anyway. 2. Wizard - No set build is needed or necessary with wizards they are allways powefull no matter how you build them. You can buff yourself to near invincibility summon powerfull melee weapons and charge head on into the fray or you can cast haste sit back and unload your arsenal of ranged spells to completely devastate all shadowflame, fireballs, rake ect...... It can be argued that they are more powerful then the Fire Priest because they are more versatile. 3. The On affect Critical Hitting Rogue - Rogues Wrongly have attracted a lot of criticism and to be honest I have no idea why. I think a lot of regular users on this forum have a vendetta against them various reasons. This Below Rogue Build is an absolute MONSTER. High Dex, Perception, sneak attacks, deathblows, dirty fighting, viscous fighting, dual wield durganized Wetoki and Starcaller and everything else doesn't really matter. The on crit stun and prone will chain lock and render any opponent obsolete. On top of this you will be dishing out unparralled damage. The only class capable of going invisible then flanking your oponents rear to take out there casters. If built properly survivability is not a problem just give your rogue all the best defensive magic items you find and he will be able to tank wit the best of them. REST OF THE CLASSES IN ORDER 4. Fighter and Paladin tied for equal fourth. - Giving both of them fourth purely for there defensive capabilities. A high intelligence fighter is the better tank with unbending and unbroken but the paladin can get all defensive stats up super high (Will, Fort, Reflex) and even gain immunities to charms ect with there high level paladin powers. Self Immolation is over rated and not that usefull at high levels. Fighter can be quite boring to play over all. Single weapon and small shield is the best way to build them. 5. Druid/ Cipher/ Ranger tied for equal fifth. - I think druids are overated. The best thing they have going for them is Relentless Storm but the game just becomes and absolute yawn fest if you chain cast it. Enter combat cast storms, enter combat cast storms, enter combat cast storms, it just goes on and on and I try and avoid using druids for this reason. - Cipher high level powers are awesome and great fun, amplified wave, mindweb, time parasite. Great fun class Obsidian did an awesome just creating it out of nothing - Rangers, One trick pony with dual arrows. They don't have mush else. 6. Chanters/ Barbarians Monks Bottom of the Pack - OMG Chanters suck have tried so many times to make them work but they just don't cut it for me. Dragon thrashed is good. - Barbs. Now this is one class I put my heart and soul into trying to make them work. An analysis of the Barbarian will tell you they could be built effectively to take advantage of carnage and on crit weapons that stun prone. When built like this the on hit effect simply do not go off often enough to make it worth it. So hard to crit with carnage and the barbs have a low accuracry base regardless. Barbs can do a lot of damage with carnage but the damage is not dished out effectively eg you will be slowly chipping away with small damage amounts to groups of enemies while they stand around and cut you down unlike a rogue who will take enemies down one by one therefore creating less enemies to strike back. HOF is great and insane fun. - Monks personally never liked them1 point

Charm/Dominate/Confusion spells are insanely good. They create a buffer between you and your enemies, taking the heat away from you and allowing you to damage the other dudes. Charming/Dominating/Confusing more or less = a chance to cast summon spell in terms of effect, except it has the benefit of taking enemies away from combat. Be a bit careful though with passive/active AoE buffs that your own dudes put out. I went through the spell lists and these are the ones that I tend to cast most often when I use both classes: Wizard Level 1: – Chill Fog (long duration blind, combine with combusting wounds) – Eldritch Aim (+20 accuracy, to be cast before CC, stacks with devotions for faithful) – Slicken (AoE prone) – Spirit Shield (Good if you need concentration in a pinch – Wizard's Double (With hardened Arcane Veil you'll be more or less unhittable – Combine with Draining Wall!) – Concelhauts Parasitic Staff (Great in early game) Level 2: – Bewildering Spectacle (Useful in early game before Confusion at level 4, aoe Confuse) – Binding Web (Combine with Druid's form of the Delemgan) – Combusting Wounds (Combine with any non-DoT repeat damage spell/ability/attack, loads of damage!) – Curse of Blackened Sight (Party friendly long duration AoE blind, use when things too messy for chillfog) – Fetid Caress (Decent single target paralyses) – Miasma of Dull Mindedness (Good to soften up before will attacking spell) Level 3 – Deleterious Alacrity (One of the best buffs in the game, cuts recovery in half – with 0 armor penalty leads to no recovery for spells) – Expose Vulnerabilities (Better than dropping a fireball) – Kalakoth Minor Blights (With Blast, Penetrating Blast + Combusting Wounds + Deleterious Alacrity + expose vulnerabilities will pressure cook enemies) – Llengrath's Displaced Image (Good buff if under duress) Level 4 – Confusion (Great AoE confusion, party friendly) – Maura's Writhing Tentacles (Very good, keeps dudes locked down) – Ninagauth's Shadowflame (One of the best spells in the game, fast cast AoE Paralyse) – Ninagauth's Death Ray (Decent single target damage with good might) – Pull of Eora (Use to suck people for Barbarians/Citzals Spirit Lance) – Wall of Flame (great for interrupt/combusting wounds) Level 5 – Blast of Frost (Good nuke) – Arkemyr's Wondrous Torment (For when you really need a will spell to land) – Call to Slumber (One of the best AoE CCs in the game) – Malignant Cloud (Good Raw aoe damage, combine with – Ninagauth's Bitter Mooring (Good damage) – Ryngrim's Enervating Terror (Great Debuff) – Wall of Force (Good for combusting Wounds/Interrupt) – Citzals Spirit Lance (Has an AoE effect, does great damage) Level 6 – Gaze of the Adragan (Probably best CC spell in the game, petrified targets take 2x damage) – XXX Blunt Wisdom (Insane damage weapon summon, but gotten very late in game) – Ninagauth's Freezing Pillar (Good damage) Level 7 – Concelhaut's Crushing Doom (Insane single target prone, made for messing with dragons) – XXX Siphoning Image (Very good protection spell, gotten late) – Wall of Draining (Insanely good spell, can get infinite duration buffs = near invulnerability) – Chaotic Orb (Good when there's two targets) Level 8 – Kalakoth's Freezing Rake (Insane Damage) – Wall of Many Colours (Insane CC) Cipher Level 1 – Antipathetic Field (Insane damage for early game, withdraw a guy at a choke point then do this over them) – Whisper of Treason (useful from start to finish, fast cast single target long duration charm, messes up dragons) Level 2 – Mental Binding (Great AoE CC, cheap with good duration) – Phantom Foes (Use in combination with vs flanked resting bonus for certain classes, increases spell damage too) – Recall Agony (Good damage vs single targets) Level 3 – Ectopsychic Echo (Party friendly version of antipathetic field, cast on your own dudes) – Puppet Master (Dominate version of whisper of treason, insanely good, messes up dragons) Level 4 – Going Between (Nice defensive boost) Level 5 – Borrowed Instinct (If no Priest) – Ringleader (Great AoE dominate/charm debuff) – Tactical Meld (Stacks with every other ACC Bonus, great for landing CC against high def targets) Level 6 – Amplified Wave (Insane spell, damage and prone in massive area) – Disintegration (Insane single target damage, doesn't destroy loot!) Level 7 – Time Parasite (Will massively increase focus generation, though use deleterious alacrity potion in big fights) Level 8 – Defensive Mindweb (Hands down best defensive spell in the entire game, trivialises the late game) – Reaping Knives (Infinite focus generation, Insane)1 point

Imho it is. As a wizard you want your casts to reliably affect the enemies. Be it control or damaging spells. For a more classic wizard, int is definitely a must. But wizard has way to versatile spell-set to be bound to a single playstyle. I believe there are several wizard 'archetypes' that require different stat-spread. Something like: - Classic wizard: 18 mig, 8 con, 4 dex, 19 per, 19 int, 10 res wood elf. Squishy wizard, versatile in that he can throw both damaging and cc spells, but somewhat conserving in his spell-usage (low dex). His main con is that when he casts cc-spells, his maxed might is of no use; as well as high int when he casts single target spells. - Minoletta wizard: 19 mig, 8 con, 14 dex, 19 per, 10 int, 8 res wood elf. Single-target dps spellcaster. Maximizes the usage of: all Minoletta Missles, Ray of Fire, Ninagauth's Bitter Mooring, Ninagauth's Killing Bolt and Tayn's Chaotic Orb. - Kalakoth wizard: 19 mig, 5 con, 19 dex, 14 per, 18 int, 3 res wood elf. Wizard focused on using ranged summoned weapons, namely Kalakoth's Minor Blights wand and maybe the Blackbow. (Per is lower a bit, because that wand adds +20 acc anyway) - Citzal melee/reach wizard: something like 14 mig, 7 con, 19 dex, 19 per, 12 int, 7 res pale elf (or maybe coastal aumaua). A bit gimmicky melee fighter, wielding summoned quarterstaff. - Llengrath control-freak: 2 mig, 10 con, 18 dex, 20 per, 19 int, 9 res wild orlan, in plate and with a small shield. This little bastard is focused exclusively on cc-spells. He doesn't need might. And since he gets some attributes to spare, he takes off-tanking/blocking those who passed the frontline as a second duty.1 point

This guy sounds like Dorf to me. That's not exactly a Hollywood Dutch accent, but it is an accent.0 points
