Then it kind of devolved into a bunch of people throwing up girls in string bikinis and the like versus the "sexy clothed" types, and all discussion pretty much died off. C'est la vie. While I understand that these channels were made to keep the general channels clean, it was still annoying to know that they were there - even if I technically don't ever have to go to or click on that channel. I'm not sure that the men thread was ever locked as I believe that one just went away from lack of interest. Maybe someone will pull it up and post more manly men if it is indeed still open. Have to admit I'm not all that keen on sexy ladies threads, if you're that hard (heh) up you can always go to Google Image Search. Or Bing image search for that matter. Or various specialist internet video repositories. OTOH, the quote function is an utter nightmare. Much as I dislike people not trimming quotes I can understand it not happening when doing so results in attributions getting borked, bits not actually deleting, bits which aren't selected getting deleted and more. There's little to no discussion value in the posting of pictures of scantily-clad women. Additionally, it clearly offends some people's sensibilities while providing nothing of value, and so the logical conclusion was finally actually followed for once. But thinking about it now, the locking of that thread coincided with that Obs dev getting pissy, so it's probably related. Guess it was the easiest way to settle the matter...
