I'll keep it short then. Since 2014 Ukraine has been obstructing NGO work. Basically they forbade Amnesty to investigate anything they didn't want them to. That is why every report out of Ukraine on any human rights matter since then is "sloppy". After the 2019 elections the new government had originally promised to fix that - part of an attempt to show their European allies that they had cleaned out far right nationalist elements from the government. They didn't fix it, realizing Europeans didn't actually care. So spending 7 years sabotaging the work of NGOs to then come out and cry about "sloppy" reports? Sarex
The only issue I am having with OW games is that they hold no repeatability for me. I thought the different legends would keep things fresh but it really didn't hold me. Although maybe I was better off just going through the main story instead of doing all the side stuff again. The 40k game is even worse on that front, or at least it was when it came out, but I still had fund running over the final boss. 1 "because they filled mommy with enough mythic power to become a demi-god" - KP

I think that my two playthroughs, Azata and Trickster, were pretty much the same. I never played enough of the PF games to have an opinion, but in the 40K game what annoyed me was that they simply made all tests harder so you had to increase and increase the same skills. If in chapter 1 you needed to roll over 40 for a skill check where your character might have a value of 10-50, in later chapters that skill check would be 140, just to ensure your party never actually simply got good at that thing. I haven't played the 40k game to know, but that sounds about right. In the Owlfinder games they assumed players would cheese the system, so they inflated stats based around that assumption which makes stuff like heavy armor Paladin have a lot more trouble than it would in pnp. It's not impossible to solve the numbers game but it makes the game feel more like you're managing a spreadsheet than fighting tactical battles. Compared to BG3 it's not near as fun for me, as BG3 managed to make a simpler (and often very janky) system feel much more tactical than WotR, which my last run was prebuffing and steamrolling. LadyCrimson
Once again I have zero personal interest in the game but YT likes to toss these things into my "algorithm" so I see them sometimes. >.> The review controversy is that they were very very picky re: review codes. Reviews are always grain of salt+confirmation bias, but maybe even moreso this time, for the early ones. And if you want a counter for "best game evah" type reviews, here's SkillUp. Sounds like this one is going to very divisive. His point re: the face artstyle vs. the Shrek's Prince Charming (around 5 minutes in) made a lightbulb go off in my head. I knew there was something I didn't like about the chr/face artstyle but I couldn't put my finger on it. I did like Shrek film but the animation style wasn't why for that, either. Bartimaeus
I feel like there's untapped potential for reverse ragebaiting people into buying your game by getting everyone mad at how stupid the people talking about the game are. For Veilguard, you've already got one side effectively covered, so now you just need to manufacture some SJW ("social justice woker", of course) getting upset about how the game is in fact really anti-LGBT and made only for incels and white men, and I think you'll probably have manipulated just about everyone who cares into buying your game. 1 Quote How I have existed fills me with horror. I generally find that whenever reviewer liked or disliked the game is an irrelevant bit - why they enjoyed/not enjoyed the game is of more interest to me. Then it is money well spend You could buy some Bud Light after the incel backlash against it (with a lot of them hate buying the stuff to destroy it on video, which is what I think @Bartimaeus was getting at ), but that is hard to recommend doing so even to make a point. Buying a Bioware game might still get you a product that is somewhat good, particularily if you're like me and neither hated Andromeda nor Inquisition, but there's not much that Bud Light has going for it.
