Spanish not equal Spain, the project spanish page is wrong for 350 millions of people
It is true that when it comes to Spanish translations we have REALLY segregated markets. On the one hand we have "latin Spanish" which strives to be "neutral" and is accepted and consumed in all of Spanish-speaking latin american countries, and then a completely independent Spanish translation produced in and catering to Spain (as far as I know Spain was into the whole "neutral" Spanish thing until Franco's regime deemed that to be... bad). So, any given animated series that is dubbed for example, will have one dub for Spain and a different and independently produced one for Latin America (does this happen, say, with a german series entering Britain, America and Australia??). While it's true that one form of Spanish is jarring to the "other side", I must say that it isn't *so* jarring when it comes to subtitles or written text. Not to mention that translating the game TWICE into Spanish is rather silly.

KOTOR 3
Actually Revan was meant to be a girl originally but was changed to both... You can make Revan male or female As a nerd I have to stress that, canonically, Revan is a guy and the Exile a gal. As for KOTOR3, it's one of those games with a "3" that will never materialize in a meaningful way, like Battlefront 3, FO3 (I highlight "meaningful way"), BG3, NWN3, SS3 and so many other sad tales of blood, sweat and tears.

STATS (strength, endurance, intelligence, etc.)
I'm not sure what to vote, but I like stats that are all very important in shaping the options available to your character and that are rather slow in leveling up.

Optional Collectables?
Tychoxi replied to Rajaat the Warbringer's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)While I don't care amuch either way, I kinda dislike when it's a "Gotta Catch 'Em All" quest with neon lights pointing at these "special" items. There should just be items that you happen to cross and you go "hey, i want that for my Barbie Doll Hou-, I mean, "Stronghold" ".

Unwinnable Encounters?
depends on our definitions. For some reason I'm okay with devs throwing enemies that are so powerful that it's virtually impossible to kill them (yes, even if they are way, way, way, way more powerful than what the game allows your character to level-up), on the other hand I would hate some enemy to be undefeatable in a hard-coded way. In practice, its the same and I'm an idiot, but the principle of such design decisions is what matters.

Living world?
I didn't vote. I mostly want "special" things to occurr wether its day or night. I don't really care to see NPCs going to work or home, it's kinda annoying when you want to find *THAT* NPC and he's not on his spot. I guess my preferred thing would be shopkeepers to lock the shop (or close the tent!) and go to bed, a bed that should be right there in another room of their shop (or next to the tent!), and then also to have some quests or NPCs to only appear during certain hours of the day.

Monster Design
why can't I have a Mostly original with a some established designs. (80/20) option? I DEMAND more options out of your puny poll!
- More choice and consequence vs bigger world/ more quests and NPCs?

Update #20: Lore Tidbits, Campaign Almanac, Big Ol' Stretch Goals, and... Environment Screenshot!
Great update, love what I see and like what I read. I'm rather hopeful we'll reach 3M for sure. As a mere fan I'm obviously qualified to answer your questions! - It *will* be animated! The river and waterfall at the least, I'm not sure if they'll be cyclic 2D animations or effects created by the engine, though. Different maps will have different animations and lights and stuff too! - I hope the backgrounds are actually bigger than that, and yes the'll be downscaled and/or "zoomed in" depending your preferred screen resolution. - I guess orthographic? - Of course! That's *exactly* what we'll be seeing! EDIT: I was J.E. Sawyed.

Orcs - discussion
If there are orcs - or whatever thay call them - they should just be a race that's there minding their own business. They shouldn't be stupid (they could of course be on average smarter or not than certain other races). They shoudn't be always chaotic evil. They should just be a race with a developed history both in regards to their own culture and the relationships they may have developed with neighbouring races.

Character Customization
I want sliders but not in the TES way of a zillion inconsequential options, just want general face presets, and sliders for skin tone, hair style, beard style, hair color, (and maybe eye color and face tattoos?) I guess that should be enough. And then the game takes a snapshot (maybe we can rotate the face to an angle we want and we take the snapshot) and that'll be your portrait.

Exclusive In-Game Content
I'm ambivalent, I think in general I find it kind of silly. I voted option 2, because option 3 is something of an oxymoron, I hate it but I think exclusive digital content is ok but everyone should have access to it? Whaaaa? Take FNV (or every other AAA game nowadays) depending on where you preordered it you got "exclusive" junk. Then you get the "Ultimate Edition" and you get ALL those things, which neglects the exclusivity and completely shatters the balance in the early game, what was the point?? Dishonored is getting especial and differential abilities, again depending on where you preorder it, it's almost insulting. For a kickstarter I understand and kinda like some exclusive and small in-game rewards, but again I'm not sure how silly it can get and I'd rather there be the exact same game for everyone. So yeah, ambivalent.

[Merged] Please make a console version!
*starts petting his cat whilst sitting on a creepy chair* Yes... YES! Make a crappy console port so that console peoples know what it's been like for the last whole decade and a half! Muahahahha, muahahahahhaha!! *laughing starts to shift - slowly but surely - into an uncontrollable and wimpy sobbing which is quick in making his cat depart, to never come back again*

Would you like to see orchestral score as a stretch goal?
I'm all for spending many, many, *many* monies on music, but I don't think I want the score to be "orchestral". So I voted "don't care", not that I actually lack care in the business hereby being discussed, but rather, 'tis the only option that happens to portray my feelings towards the aforementioned business in "closely enough" a fashion. Not to mention that it be Obsidian who shall decree if an Orchestra - be it of the kind that is manouvered in the dark or not - is the best fit for their misucal directions and needs. Now, to get a few artists - say a string quartet plus oboe, tambourine and trumpet - and using them to wisely enhance the score sounds great.

Getting Drunk in-game
I wouldn't like my character to *actually* walk slower or such, but by all means temporalily lower his dexterity, wits, perception and etc, or enhance his pain threshold or whatever.
- The Obsidian Order of Eternity wants YOU! part 2
-
Just a little concern about adding stretch goals
think of it like this: they have a *huge* design document with tons of regions, classes and ****. Each funding threshold warrants they won't have to cut something out of that document.
-
Lower Graphics for Bigger Game?
I don't think this is necessary at all. Obsidian already knows the direction and level they are aiming for in the GRAPHX!!1! department.
- How about postponing the releasedate to december 2014

A dog companion?
No. I would love some oversized blue-green lunged ctenophore or something like this, though. And yeah it would be cool it our actions shaped its behaviour, have I constantly stablished I'm the alpha male by beating the crap out of it during its upbringing? Maybe he'll randomdly lash out and tear some kid's throat whilst in Generic Monarch Palace Number 1.

Optional Full Party Creation, BG/IWD style
I would probably never use it, but this is essentially the "solo" run-through, except that you get all the benefits of party-enabled meaningful tactical combat (ie. tactical positioning, formations, using diff. classes for diff. stuff, etc). Hence, since I don't think it could ever detract from the experience Obsidian wants nor that it would put a (meaningful) strain on development, and - maybe most importantly- that there's a lot of people who would enjoy it, I say "sure, put it in".

Subduing Enemies: Alternative paths to Combat resolution
Oh yes! I have often found myself in fights where I would have preferred an aggressive, yet non-lethal way of defeating enemies (once again, thank you FO). It becomes really jarring when after utterly hacking your foe to death... *cutscene attacks* and the dude just gets up nonchalantly as if you had been punching him the gut instead of wacking his face in with a sledgehammer.
