  1. Interesting take on why the old rapist president probably stepped down from the Greenland threats: https://www.logicofwar.com/why-trump-retreated-on-greenland/
  2. So, 12th of March Greedfall leaves Early Access and Solasta enters Early Access. I;ll have to buy a second PC so I can play both at the same time...
  3. for gd to give up they are all bad is an admitted heavy ask. his entire political identity is premised on the notion you should abandon voting democrat or republican. choose trump to prevent biden from becoming President or choosing harris instead o' trump is a deal with the devil and the americans will never see anything better from our government as long as people keep making the same pointless mistake. is a whole lotta self-described libertarians who feel as gd, and while we did not share his pov, we were sympathetic to it... up until muslim ban. gd didn't vote for trump like the maga faithful who see him as their savior from dei and the scourge of illegal immigration. gd didn't vote for rfk jr 'cause o' vaccines. gd didn't vote trump like so many relative indifferent voters who nevertheless continue to view trump as a successful businessman who could lower the cost o' groceries. gd ain't like the democrats who lost faith in the biden administration 'cause o' gaza or perceived weakness on the environment and voted trump or third party in protest. gd voted other 'cause he was certain that democrat v. republican is a no-win option, but he failed to recognize just how much a guaranteed loss a trump victory would be. gd were voting as a matter o' principle, may God have mercy on his soul.. post jan 6, we realized that they are all bad is a religious belief and not a political position. is gonna take a road to damascus event to convince gd that lesser of two evils is anything other than surrendering to evil. HA! Good Fun!
  4. Hey @Sarex , There are actually a couple of solves for this. The first is that there is a system that carried over from the previous version where if you click the dot to the left of the thread link, it will take you to the first unread post. If you don't like that solution, you can also personalize how you see posts by clicking your Avatar icon at the top of the page and going to Account Settings. From there you can go to Content Preferences and set where you want to be taken when opening a thread I hope that helps!
  5. Hey @Lexx , Unfortunately this was a major jump from Invision Forums v4.7.23 to v5.0.14 that has a lot of theming changes. We put the change off for a year, but ultimately had to make the change due to security reasons. We will be tweaking the theming a bit over time until our front-end web developer has time to make some other changes for us as he is currently working on updates to the company websites. In the meantime if you run into any issues, definitely let me know and I'll see what I can do to help make this as easy of a change as possible. For now, I tweaked the header to shrink it down a tad more, but I can't shrink it any more without cutting off the notification number (when you have one). It's also as close to the minimum size as the system will let me make it 😅 Edit: Speaking of big and clunky, this is how the Forums were in v5 by default until I changed it to be as close to what we had as I could. Thanks for the feedback!

  7. RLM DS9 videos. I didn't realize how much I needed this right now.
  8. I'm glad to hear impeachment calls are starting to come out for Kristi Noem. I mean she is just throwing around the domestic terrorist label at every protester in the country, so maybe she isn't fit to be the director of Homeland Security. I'd imagine messing up her coffee order can get you on a watchlist.
  9. Normally that would be a kvajebajer (you are expected to buy a round of beer because you screwed up) but kvajekage (cake instead of beer) works too I suppose 😝 I took this picture in a local supermarket. any resemblance to real people is purely coincidental
  10. https://www.gog.com/en/game/new_arc_line Not every steampunk game tries to be Arcanum, but it is THE Steampunk CRPG, so some developers seem to be trying. Granted, 9/10 times the UE5 tend to look and run poorly for me, thus, I am just watching the particular title.
  11. This seems pretty likely from circumstantial evidence; Gigabyte has already released new AM4 motherboards, which suggests they don't see the socket as dead. You'd expect them to just do a new manufacturing run of the old designs under normal circumstances to save on costs.
  12. I play pretty regularly, but I'm a very slow and deliberate player who loves to take my time and goof off within my games. I'm almost 300 hours of playtime in my current first playthrough of BG3 and yet only about 2/3 of the way through Act 2. I'm the kind of roleplayer who can easily spend half an hour trying to figure out which of my party members should get that new ring I just found. 😀
  13. They spew so many lies, it's really incredible. But why should they not... it worked the last time. Nobody is holding them accountable.
  14. I wanted to ask if an update for the Nintendo Switch version of Outer Worlds would be available for the new Switch 2?
  15. Trump's Board of Peace requires nations pay $1 billion for permanent membership Supposedly that payment goes directly into Trump's pocket, not the US government. Can you say emoluments? I knew you could.
  16. and Not opening the door to ICE may no longer stop officers Most immigration arrests have been carried out under administrative warrants, documents issued by immigration authorities that authorize an arrest. Traditionally they do not permit officers to enter private spaces without consent. Only warrants signed by independent judges have carried that authority. there is no basis for dhs creating new authority for law enforcement. claiming it is proper to keep relying on administrative warrants 'cause o' some kinda self granted power ginned up in a dhs memo is something jd vances knows is not Constitutional. nevertheless, am having little doubt feds will continue to enter homes/residences up until scotus tells 'em they cannot do so. how many people were sent out o' the US before scotus said there needs be some kinda due process review? once those people were out o' the US, as a practical and legal matter, courts could not force the US to bring those improperly "deported" persons back to the US. scotus has been using the shadow docket to undermine lower court TROs without providing rationales for overturning district and appellate courts. as far as we can tell, the scotus majority has decided that only scotus has the authority to enjoin the executive branch... although am needing mention the curious lisa cook exception. Since Trump took office last year, the court – on its interim docket – has allowed him to remove members of the National Labor Relations Board, Consumer Product Safety Commission, and the Merit Systems Protection Board. The justices also heard arguments in December in the case of Rebecca Slaughter, a member of the Federal Trade Commission whom Trump fired in March. They are expected to decide by summer whether a federal law that bars him from removing members of the FTC except in cases of “inefficiency, neglect of duty, or malfeasance in office” violates the constitutional separation of powers. explain why a fed appointee is legal different than an ftc board appointee is difficult 'cause scotus has provided no explanation. however, if scotus treats the dhs memo authority same as most other fed actions, it could be a long time before they get around to telling vance that administrative warrants don't fulfill 4th amendment requirements. how many US residents get "deported" before scotus decides to observe that water is wet and ice is cold... although following the Presidential immunity case, am no longer certain what constitutes legal unthinkable for this Court. ... sure this is wrong, but kamala harris woulda' done... something. HA! Good Fun!
  17. ^ If they at least made it so it wasn't percentage based and easy settings let us old/slow farts react before being dead, that might help. Or the meteor attack didn't cover half the donut, or its laser beam wasn't six miles wide and follows you around. The design of the fight arena tho is always going to problematic. You can easily "slide/teleport/glide" avoidance yourself off the edge. Seriously, it's a super skinny donut with a mile wide center hole as well as the outer edge drop off. Did I mention the boss can fly? And has adds? And yeah, I think nov. 2026 is their current projection (delayed a couple months), although per usual re: EA, I always have my doubts. Although I don't get the feeling it'll be 10+ years, haha. There are a couple other "indie" games I've had my eye on but I like (mostly) completing games before I move on, first, otherwise I never finish anything. I was also looking at StarRupture but it seems a bit too Satisfactory/factory type building for my tastes.
  18. It includes DJT-flatterers Argentina, Hungary, and Qatar, but excludes Canada? Definitely a laughable "institution". Most European nations declined to join, which tells you something. Bored of Peace indeed.
  19. His new golf course with its exclusive members?
  20. " The board of peace " ..what a joke Have you seen the countries that are on the board I am prepared to make prediction, they will come up with ideas for Gaza peace that have already been discussed but not implemented and they will achieve nothing substantive in other conflicts And once Trump is no longer president it will collapse into obscurity, like it never existed
  21. Oh Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves Season 2 released yesterday, with QoL and balance changes implemented as well. From first impressions it seems, that from top4 cast (Hokutomaru, Hotaru, Kain, Marco) was Kain nerfsmacked the most, but it still seems that Hokutomaru will still be in Top Tier. Some people are saying, the he will be the strongest character in S2, but most of the S1 lower tier character did not get fully tested yet. My main Terry was slightly buffed, but I am mostly curious, how SNK treated Tizoc, who was the undisputed worst S1 character.
  22. I think my older brother had this thing, it instantly flashed ancient vague memories in my brain.
  23. I don't believe those countries paid 1 billion to Trump when joining.
  24. There are rumours, that AMD will go back to AM4 chipsets to “counter” the current environment in PC market. So there might be not everything lost for you, yet.
  25. The USA was never going invade Greenland, that was just the expected sensationalism and SM drama with this story. There were comparisons to the regime change in Venezuela to how Greenland was going to be annexed and they not remotely the same thing for various reasons that include how Congress wont support any military action over the taking of Greenland despite the rhetoric from several of Trumps spokespeople. Would they declare Greenland an example of narcoterrorism Trump initially tried the threat of economic bullying to try to take Greenland through tariffs and now he was dropped that idea We dont know what this " framework " deal is he suggested and I doubt he even knows. But yes the EU and Canada stood there ground and it was good to see some backbone but its what you expect because as we discussed this was about the future of a sovereign territory that is part of an EU country and they had to draw a line
  26. i'm gonna be honest the sleeping animation is pretty boring in grounded 2, and in the spirit of a lot of new changes from game 1 --> 2, i thought it'd be interesting if we got a new animation! i spent way too long on this drawing for this the idea is simple in concept, instead of a view of the sky (or whatevers above you), i thought it'd be interesting if we could actually see our player sleeping. maybe to have it appear like there's more motion, the camera pans around the bed?
  27. I'm doing a little bit of BG3 again, because I also started watching some old Critical Role DND streams after the new Mighty Nine show released. :p The game feels a lot easier now that I know what I'm actually doing.
  28. #moderngaming https://www.tomshardware.com/video-games/pc-gaming/buying-all-dlc-for-monster-hunter-wilds-unlocks-twice-the-fps-performance-higher-fps-accidentally-paywalled-by-resource-hogging-background-check-for-paid-content
  29. Started Octopath Traveler. Seems very good. Lots of JRPG tropes, but gameplay is interesting enough, I'm enjoying it. Looks like it has some hard achievements to get, but I'm a sucker for those, so I'll probably end up completing it.
  30. Unavowed. Becuz (pixel) size matters! ❤️ Big props to Dave Gilbert for making a living by telling the stories he wants to tell for twenty years now? This one is also the game where he got a little inspired by Bioware-style companions. Gilbert's never been much of a puzzle guy, but this gives him something toy with. You even get to name your character and can chose an "origin", with the game starting out a little different depending on your choice.
  31. Picked up Avowed from the Steam winter sale. But since I'm still very far from finishing up my inaugural BG3 run, it'll be a while before I get to try it. Also picked up the ToEE remake.
  32. Yeah, I am happy to wait for an upgrade until a game I really want to play comes out. I did love building a new PC and having an insane backlog of quality titles to go through. Dishonored2 being one of them, and it still deserves more playthroughs then the one I gave it. Still waiting for a lot of Sony sequels to come down in price.
  33. I think I went full indie with occasional Japanese AA somewhere after my disappointment with Final Fantasy 15, and I am pretty glad I did that. I bought also few AAA games as well after that period, but only after they got on GOG, which meant pretty much 85%+ discount. Saved me a lot of money to control my impulse buying that way, and I still have backlog worth at least 5 years, if I stopped purchasing stuff altogether.
  34. 640KB should be enough for anyone.
  35. I did buy and install extra two 8GB sticks, adding my total RAM to 32. I am kinda glad I did it now.
  36. Enshrouded: ---I'm 70% enjoying the game, I guess, but it feels similar to No Man's Sky, where as I unlock stuff and try things, I slowly realize 80% of the unlocks I have zero interest in/would never use. But NMS has the advantage of zillions of planets for random fresh starts vs. Enshrouded's static map and questing (even if it's pretty large). I think most (solo) people who get more than 100-200 hrs out of enshrouded are going to be the mega-builders, who want to make 5+ massive, 30hr+ to make each one, bases needing 1000's and 1000's of materials for both walls and deco (I swear 78% of crafting is deco, like spoons, plates, chairs, plants, lighting, etc). ---all I care about is block varieties (metal, wood, colors, styles), altar-placement-limit upgrades, backpack upgrades and storage upgrades. ---the farming is a cozy or mass production effort thing for those who like such. You don't have to do it if you don't want, you'll loot the minimums for main upgrades. ---the cooking/foods, far as I'm concerned, are too many and aren't that useful. Just like NMS. Maybe a few, or on hardest difficulties, but I mean, mostly it's a time-waster. ---weapons are mostly found/loot, armor is occasionally looted but is mostly crafted (but as a mage, don't really need a lot of that) ---the fishing mechanic reminds me a bit of FFXV. Although you can also put it on Easy where you auto reel fish in. >.> ---I could see myself replaying the game a couple times, "rushing" more to certain points and then just building, but that's probably about it (at its current EA stage anyway) Early on I found a pair of boots with 6% faster run. Since there are no mounts, I've kept those on forever. I have yet to see any more upgraded boots - crafted or loot - with that attribute. I'm at around 60-70 hrs probably, still haven't seen all biomes. I do get task-distracted a lot tho. 😜
  37. Playing BG3 in small spurts. Exploring the first map and getting ready to go to the goblin fort. The game hasn't grabbed me so far, but the combat is not tedious in TB.
  38. I've made an account to also voice my support for a Switch 2 update... it would make a potentially huge benefit to playability!
  39. Made an account as well to echo my support! Really hope they release a Switch 2 update. The game deserves it
  40. We really need this update! Love the game, but the graphics need to at least be upscaled
  41. Same, please give us a graphics/FPS update... the game looks soooooooo bad and could look soooooo good
  42. Created an account here just to echo my support for a Switch 2 update!
