  4. Obsidian? Most of their biggest upcoming releases moved to Unreal, no? (Outer Worlds, Avowed). I have no clue how it might impact smaller titles. Also is the change in licence apply to previously released titles? Surely not.

  5. He was worth almost a million XP, to be fair. Though maybe it's just the endgame bloat just like it is with everything else at that point. As for Aivu, of course, totally nobody. Nor did I set Azata run to branch into Swarm either. (TBH she's not as annoying as artificial intelligences of reddit make her be, because it appears she's literally a child, and getting mad at a kid for yakking about sweets would be kinda...well. Of course that raises a question what Azata is thinking, dragging a child into the battlefield, but judging by that mythic path's development thinking isn't Azata's forte).

  6. Scumbag move to add Denuvo after the review embargo has been lifted, given that the vast majority of reviewers put out their review the instant the embargo lifts. Puts a bit of a damper on a game otherwise getting glowing reviews. In fact, this is the least positive review I've seen/read and it's still quite positive.

  7. I am about 25 hours into Fallout 1 and just had an epic battle to free Tandi from the Khans and its an example of why I love this type of CRPG and combat mechanics . It was chaotic and frenetic and I needed to restore several times because I got killed about 5 times before defeating the Khans and freeing her. Also there are several strategies you can use but this was mine I was level 7 with Ian, Dogmeat and Katja in my party. You would assume having companions would always be a combat benefit but they dont always fight logically and sometimes draw aggro outside of my plans or what I instruct them to do. But they still good to use I defeated the Khans outside the tents first using my AK and very useful plasma pistol Then Ian decided to run into the main building by himself while we were fighting outside, he was eventually killed but his sacrifice will he remembered because he seemed to distract most of the main mobs inside the building and they didnt come outside I then used grenades and my AK to defeat the main enemies inside with Dogmeat playing a huge part of the success I found loads of loot and items to sell which is appreciated because I am constantly short of money. But then I had to be selective and leave lots of stuff behind. But the reality of inventory limitation is something I like because it adds to realism and immersion. Now I have finally upgraded my armour And I was down to 4 hp with no Stimpacks when the last Khan died, literally on my last legs of survival. But fun battle and very strategic

  8. 'Give me the damage...and give it to me RAW' Hi guys, sorry about bad English firstly. Not much action on forum lately but i wanted to share this build anyways. Because its not a much preferred multiclass, on the paper has no sinergy whatsoever but when i play this was FAR the most powerful and fun build. And its noob friendly. Ok on druid side we have crazy powerful aoe damages and on cipher side we re deadly against single target bosses. We have a weapon for every situation, crowd control, debuffs, buffs, single target healing, aoe healing, everything..I assume you install community patch and i ll make my comments in that version, but this will be powerful even without it. Beguiler is a very good subclass, you debuffs enemies and gain focus while you do it and it has no negative impact, with +4 power level we ll have with this build a single phantom foes cast will fill our focus full. Ancient: +1 power level with our most damaging spells is very good. Summon sporelings is a good distract early game. Race: Nature Godlike, we re gonna stack + power levels so its a good choice +2 all stats berath blessings is kinda must we re stat hungry Might: 20 - we ll have very high damaging spells so we want this at max Constitution: 10 Dexterity: 10 - we will wear leather armor and %20 action speed from captains banquet %10 speed from rapid casting will be sufficent Perception: 20 we don't wanna miss and we don't wanna graze, we should get all the accuracy bonuses as possible Intelligence: 20 Resolve: 10 Captains banquet should be always active %20 damage for spells and %20 action speed is massive, and also we ll be immune to mind afflications. Items Weapon slot 1: https://pillarsofeternity.fandom.com/wiki/Lance_of_the_Midwood_Stag The upgrade lord of the forest will be activated from our form of the delemgan spell, its a very good spell anyways and it will give us +2 power levels with cipher and druid spells. slot 2: https://pillarsofeternity.fandom.com/wiki/Essence_Interrupter In some fights we can struggle to harvest focus with our beguiler spells, you should use this weapon when it happens. Also you can get friendly summons with the upgrade from crit hitted enemies, summons are always welcome. Armor: https://pillarsofeternity.fandom.com/wiki/Aloth's_Leather_Armor_(Deadfire)#:~:text=Aloth's leather armor has been, tailored in the Aedyran style. %15 aoe effect is huge and it has very good defensive enchantments and low recovery. We look kinda ugly in that armor though but what can you do... Glove: https://pillarsofeternity.fandom.com/wiki/Gauntlets_of_Accuracy_(Deadfire) +3 accuracy, very simple but useful all game. Boots: https://pillarsofeternity.fandom.com/wiki/Boots_of_the_Stone some stats and resistance to might afflications, very nice. Rings: https://pillarsofeternity.fandom.com/wiki/Kuaru's_Prize https://pillarsofeternity.fandom.com/wiki/Ring_of_Overseeing_(Deadfire) Cloak: https://pillarsofeternity.fandom.com/wiki/Cloak_of_Greater_Deflection Amulet: https://pillarsofeternity.fandom.com/wiki/Charm_of_Bones +2 intellect and +5 accuracy against vessels which are very common enemies Abilities: Power level 1: Eyestrike: aoe blind for 10 focus which we get more focus back when we cast is op. Summon sporelings(auto): this is very powerful especially early game, i rarely use it after some levels though. Talon's reach: this is a hidden gem, with +5 power levels you ll deal around 80-100 damage late game in huge aoe. A fine finisher. Lingering Echoes: more duration for our afflications, works with druid spells too(it doesnt show up when you click on it but it works) Iron will: +15 will for 1 ability points, you never know you have to be protected against that nasty arcane dampener. Power level 2: Draining whip Phantom foes: this make everyone flanked in huge are which is not particularly powerful but we ll get huge focus back, most of the time max our focus. Insect swarm: a huge raw dot, but small aoe. Removes concentration. Most important its works against everyone even against undeads. Recall agony: its a %30 lash overtime. You will rarely use this against the bosses. But man it is very powerful. Power level 3: Secret horrors: a frightened enemy is a no threat anymore, and we usually get more focus than its costs. Sickened also useful for our spells that target fortitude. Nature's balm: aoe robust for our party, not bad. Bears fortitude, bulls will and snakes reflexes: we should work on our defenses even we re not close to the frontlines. Power level 4: Form of the delemgan(auto): its a very powerful defensive buff and activate lord of the forest for +2 power level. This should be our first cast every fight. Heart of the storm: this will give + 1 penetration for relentless storm and essence interrupter. Body attunement: this is -3 Armor with community patch, situational but useful. Especially where you want to gain focus with the bow, against high armor bosses. Power level 5 aka god level: Borrowed instinct: maan its gives us +20 accuracy and +20 all the defenses. Also -8 intellect and perception to the enemy? Yeah this is the best spell in the game. Plague of the insects: This spell cover all the map, aoe raw damage, BUT doesnt works against poison immune enemies, which is very common. Removes concentration. Relentless Storm: Stunlock all the map, even they have resistance aoe daze is very powerful too. Does decent damage. Embrace of the earth talon: a hidden gem, i mostly use this against poison immune enemies, where we cant use plague of the insects. Rapid casting Power level 6: Disintegration: This is a death sentence: make sure you have borrowed instincts active and debuffed the fortitude of the enemy. 90 damage per tick on hit. Yeah good times... The empty soul: +10 accuracy with will targeting cipher spells. Yeah good one. Venombloom(auto): weakened is very powerful and it does ok raw damage with all our bonuses. But it has like no range and dont work against poison immune enemies, i rarely cast this tbh. Farcasting: very useful actually, we dont wanna get too close to the frontlines. Power level 7: this level is kinda weak Ancestor's memory: very useful in long fights, especially for our priest i ll explain why The complete self: we will crit a lot and every +focus is welcome. Companions: i suggest you to sell your soul to the Valian company in this run and take Pallegina with you. Give her https://pillarsofeternity.fandom.com/wiki/The_Willbreaker -25 fortitude modal is a must in boss fights for disintegrate. Also her summons is a distraction we need. And use old siec chant and become immortal(gives healing with damaging spells too) We also need a priest for 2 key spells: Litany for the spirits: +1 power level and +5 intelligence is a must. Champions boon gives +5 might +2 penetration and activates nature godlike racial. You can use scripts to cast them auto. In long fights use ancestors memory for recast, because they re both level 5 spells. And thats it! the Abomination destroys every enemy in every situations. Physically and mentally.

  9. TESIII: Morrowind. Became a clan-friend of an Ashlander clan, the chosen of Azura (sort of?), and most importantly found several pieces of Daedric armour that I could not wear effectively and a merchant with 10,000 gold per day, successfully solving any financial issues for some time. Also found an ebony short sword and several pieces (not a set) of glass armour and became the highest-ranked Blade agent in Morrowind. The only issues so far are occasionally falling through the floors in Vivec, the inability to do main quests out of order (was visiting the Hlaalu councillor several times without the ability to ask him to make me the Hortator), and that Caius Cosades did not tell me how to get to Tel Fyr and I could not ask anyone (so had to look up online). Also, I probably should have started as an Argonian. Though, I do like the story so far.

  11. You may very well be crazy, but it's a real thing here that you're experiencing. It happens fairly consistently, like you'll have to reload the page and post again what was saved. I think there may be some kind of time limit involved, for me it happens the most when I check on something in another tab when writing a post and it happens a lot more on mobile. Also when someone replies before you post it happens like 90% of the time.

  13. I'm exploring Reithwin. I met with a lot of crazy people, helped two children and recruited Halsin. And the owlbear cub finally returned. Karlach's romance is working. Withers seemed displeased about it, but he is busy now explaining to Arabella what he is, so good luck with that. I imagine how many people were spying at night. I bet someone wanted to talk with my character but decided to leave it for another night.

  15. Finally got my B-level license, so now I can fly my big Stroud Eklund ship around. It's pretty sweet looking, and has a lot of space for activities. I also romanced Andreja, which took quite a bit of time and was well done. Her whole story has been very interesting. I can imagine that the whole snake religion group will get more attention in an expansion. There is quite a bit of decent world building done. They've got just a ton of different companies with backstories, and I'm curious how they build it out over the future. They could probably release a dozen expansions for this game.

  16. I agree Psion would work too, even maybe better than beguiler when you fight few enemies when fighting bosses.

  17. I believe it's not widely exported because of its potential to cause olfactory crises. I mean, it's a lot worse than durian, the fruit, which you also cannot bring to places like airports, if I remember correctly. The Mongols also have various foods whose smell will wake you up in a hurry and take some getting accustomed to -- like, a couple of generations, perhaps.

  18. The term "bucket list" is strangely appropriate here, because if you don't heed proper precautions, a bucket is what you'll need. Unless you have an extraordinarily strong constitution, you will vomit if you open the can in the wrong way or remain too close to it for too long. (Plenty of youtube videos on this, by the way, some of them positively Rabelaisian.)

  20. Nice build! I've been playing an oracle lately, but with the psion subclass, which is nice for action economy, since you'll pretty much be always casting, and will build focus continually while you are casting. Psions really shine late in the game when their focus gain become very fast.

  22. I made avocado butter. I was always told it was easy, but, for whatever reason, I never tried until today. It's indeed easy, with a food processor it's borderline trivial. Naturally, I had avocado toast. I suddenly feel the urge to dye my hair green and begin every conversation by disclosing my pronouns. I keed, I keed, I don't have enough hair on my head to dye.

  23. couldn't help but think what it would be if not french. korean: there would be extreme bullying and a revenge plot. japanese anime: would have no real plot but there would be at least one scene at the beach, and possible one at an onsen. the school cultural festival would figure prominent and one character would likely have an inexplicable pet 'bout which nobody would comment. german: the important aspect would be it would be black and white. there would also be a whole lotta symbolism fans o' the film would pretend to appreciate. polish: same as german but a whole lot darker. english: distilled, the movie would be ninety minutes o' uncomfortable shame and embarrassment... and that would be the comedy take on the subject matter. american: actors (likely pro models) too old to be high schoolers do their best to pretend being average american teens navigating cliques/heart ache/drugs/teen angst/etc. HA! Good Fun!

  25. That guy could solo a battle against all the demon lords together. Plus Iomedae and half the gods. If he is supposed to be that powerful, then at least make the other bosses stronger and set a progressive spike in difficulty. You are mistaken, this option doesn't exist. Nobody would kill Aivu, right?

  26. Of course Azura has her fun with that, with that vision at the very start of the game. "Oh, so you think you can create a fake chosen one? Let's see how you like me turning them into an actual chosen one." then *mutters* "Call me an Anticipation, did they?" Or at least that is how I imagine the Morrowind plot in a nutshell.

  27. Had a Mephisto fight with Aeon. Filed a bug report laden with expletives and unclean gift wishes upon Owlcat. Did win with half a party even alive after 7 or so attempts, still think story-mandatory fights should not be overtuned like that. Kinda wanted to go Devil from Azata some day, but now when I hate Mephistopheles so, so much I possibly won't.

  29. This is a compilation of all skill checks found in the game. How it works The number on the left is the skill required. After that, there are three lines. The line associated with the skill check will be the first or the second; the others are there to provide context. The flow of the conversation is always top to bottom. Sometimes there isn't a line because the check is at the beginning/end of an interaction or it's a ghost node that immediately sends you elsewhere. Because of how conversations can diverge and converge, sometimes there are several options. If the text is in red, it means this is what you will see if you fail the skill check. Have this much skill to avoid that result. Scripted interactions only. The wrong line of the three may be highlighted, but it generally holds. What is Party Assist? Essentially, the party member attempting to pass a skill check uses their full skill plus a portion of the rest of the party's skill. Read more here. Future work Update current data with alternate ways to pass the skill checks. Update current data with additional requirements - some checks are AND/OR constructs. Proofreading info A skill comparison can be <=, <, > or >=. Or =, but it's never used. It can also be negated, so not <= means >. This is a minor brain bomb to parse, so it's possible some stuff ended up wrong. There are also checks that are unreachable (no sequence of interactions will lead to them), but still get found by my parsing and end up in this thread. Some lines will also look strange or not really related to the skill due to the trigger/result problem I described in the first paragraph. I will not be fixing individual errors, but if a pattern emerges that speaks of a programming mistake, I will try to fix it and post the info again. It's half an hour two hours of work, so... I'll just make it clear here that both the data digging and the formatting are automated, so "minor adjustments" are not really a thing, just code fixes. It's very cumbersome to edit these posts - their size alone slows my computer down. Think then what happens when added info makes a post too large for the forum to accept it, and I have to redistribute everything. Thanks to @Kvellen and @Noqn for helping me make sense of the data!

  30. I did some tests today, about some good acc characters to use. And if we talked about debonaire and the 100% crit conversion vs charmed (while confused), I forgot at this time that Charmed work for the red flag weapon attack (calculated before the initial roll) exactely like Entropy, sleeping and Invisibility. That mean an Assassin get a +25acc passive bonus on Assassinate attack for every Red Flag rolls, and of course SF rolls. Also, a nice option is to paire a Monk with a Wizard who stole and use Barbs of Condemnation and Divine Mark (for -35 deflection) before casting Citzal's Martrial Power (+20acc). With a party, these two spells stolen greatly increase the Red Flag potential, and so give a good taste for all MC monk , and other specialized characters by the way (since Red Flag proc itself a Red Flag attack on crit, and proc Avenging Storm). Another fun stuff (but only for trying) is to use a Confused Monk with Mohora Taga, SF and Blade Turning VS a level 20 SC barbarian with low defl., Baring Death Door and Barbaric Reliatation. The crit chain, as melee attacks chain, cause a reliatation chain against the monk, who redirect these attacks to nearby people around him. Of course, my computer is not very powerful and I just speculate on this, because red flag chain by itself can already crash him and my two Barbaric Reliatation Tempest build also crash him sometimes.
