  1. Sea of Stars demo: I've heard so much about this little rpg game, so even tho I typically don't like turn-based combat, thought I'd give the demo a whirl. What's shown off in that is all very cute, and I like the small environment interactions. Being a demo, there are ofc a lot of "can't do that in the demo" spots/points, and it sorta felt like it maybe fast-skipped over some things to show you certain stuff earlier. Could be wrong tho. Combat in the demo wasn't all that difficult per se, but, y'know, just the demo, no clue of later game. It was nice to see that for those that are less combat oriented, there's a ring/item you can turn on that gives a huge HP boost or something, so you can focus less on tactics or whatever I guess. The usual skills, items, cooking/food, etc. Anyway, I liked the throwback pixel (is that what you say these days?) artstyle, occasional goofiness, the demo's light "figure out how to get that thing over there" tasks, and I'd imagine if you love/d this type of rpg, it's probably a good one. Probably not something you'd play for hours and hours at a sitting, but good light fun. That said, I still don't like turn based combat in rpg's and this one didn't change my personal mind, so I'll probably skip. But I can understand the overall positive reception. Charming, is what I'd call it, perhaps.

  3. So firstly I would love if the game added a trapdoor spider into the game. I think it would be awesome if there was a new foggy area in the undershed that you need a late game item to get into like a access card made from upper yard bug parts. Once entering there will be a decently big area (preferably as big as the black widow area in the undershed + some tunnels that the trap door spider can go into) in this area there will be tons of webs to slow you down along with the trap door spider that has several “trap doors” it uses to surprise attack you with along with the fog really making it interesting and a harsh environment. Trap door spiderlings wouldn’t be necessary. It will give more spider parts then orbweavers and wolf spiders along with web. I think there could also be some kind of special web it drops that can be made into a projectile for bows/crossbows and can slow down bugs and make flying bugs drop to the ground dazed for a few moments before getting back up/flying. It would have the same respawn time as black widows. I think a centipede boss would also be a amazing addition, having more health then the broodmother. It would be located near the house and on the porch deck. It would be blocked off by tier III debris that you would need the tier III axe or hammer to break. Centipedes feed on silverfish, roaches, and spiders. Silverfish have been something the community has wanted for a while so I think silverfish bug parts and black widow spider parts would be a good thing to use to make the summoner for the centipede. The arena being pretty much as large as the lizard arena was going to be. Centipedes Chiten armor is insanely strong to the point where you can’t stomp on one to kill it, you would need to grind your foot to kill it. Going off this point I think Chiten plates from the centipede would be a good drop. Along with a end game spear that uses its tail spike, tough gunk could also be dropped by the centipede. And keep in mind centipedes are somewhat venomous so you could add that. Im thinking some of the attacks would be similar to the iceworm from subnautica below zero (minus the burrowing and jumping into the ground, unless you want to add that too) Now for a new biome I think a greenhouse would be the way to go. I know this would be incredibly hard to implement but it would be amazing. Adding sprinklers into then greenhouse to water the carnivorous plants and exotic plants. There is so much potential with plants in the greenhouse. It would be a humid tier III enviroment with a scorpion boss that had maybe escaped a broken terrarium. Dropping scorpion stingers and claws along with scorpion venom that could be made into scythes. The greenhouse also having aloe for healing items. And there could be some bees in there and maybe even some butterflies. Ladybugs and rollypollys would also be in there and maybe a few orbweavers. Assassin bugs have been mentioned by the devs before, they would be a very nice add-on to grounded and could have 1-2 in the greenhouse. Fire ant queen and Lizard, as for the fire ant queen that was redacted along with the Lizard. They were both so close to making it already. The Lizard boss is already done and the fire ant queen is pretty much done as well. These would be amazing to add to the game. Inside of the shed was also something that is pretty much done as well. Leaked images of them already on the grounded wiki fandom. Hercules beetles. Please. They are so cool, I know we have the Ox beetle already but maybe the Hercules beetle would be a few spawned creature like the green shield bug. The armor could have thorns damage along with being tank like armor.

  6. I agree with your point, SC chanter as pure spellcaster is tedious, excepted with some equipments (at less for the Tekehu subclass*). Multiclassed, chanter are really nice to play with some martial classes (mage slayer - chanter with Effort ; Trickster -chanter for defensive spells et high dps etc, between spell casting) and with a full party, very versatile and potent character. I have a FF monk - chanter as main in several save. * of course, with some late game contents..

  7. And I thought Lae'zel was horny before. I put her in the party to meet with her people and she went completely mad. I actually thought she would try to force herself on me.

  9. I don't know who else is playing on PC but my only complaint is having to hit two or sometimes three buttons to open menus. Hopefully a mod comes along to fix that.

  10. After clearing a couple of locations I don't like the shooting (I'd like a VATS) but I'm happy you can completely ignore most of the pew pew it seems and focus on surveying planets which can give more xp than shooting 50 generic bandits pirates.

  13. Pasta Alla Zozzona: I went all out for this one. I freshly grated romano cheese and I didn't settle for bacon or pancetta, I got the good stuff. Delicious dish, but not something to eat regularly, on account of how decadent it is.

  14. https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/1086940/view/3669924544104905987?l=english So BG3 doesn’t have “cut content” as was suspected (aka. stuff Larian wanted in the game but didn’t finish in time to ship). As such those hoping for major “restored content” patch, hoped in vain. Still, Larian is paying attention to feedback and look to address some of the complaints.

  15. Even for Bethesda the intro to starfield is very bad. It's cringe dialog and then fast tracking you to get a ship. It happens in such an insulting way. Very early spoiler

  18. Mean Streets (1973) It's got a low budget charm to it that most of Scorsese's other films don't, for obvious reasons. In a lot of ways it feels almost....homey. There's no grand heist schemes or years-long saga that some of Scorsese's other gangster pictures have, this takes place over maybe a week and the big conflict that erupts is something that would have been a footnote in Goodfellas. I won't say that's better than the larger sagas Scorsese directed, but it is interesting to see more small scale crime dramas.

  19. The Pupil (2022). Rather bizarre Italian film about a bunch of young girls in a nunnery during World War II trying to make it through Christmas while being yelled at for their apparent wickedness by the nuns, selling their little orphan prayers to all the wives and moms worried about their boys in exchange for food and such. The concept is decidedly me, and the execution was...rather amusing. I mean, just look at them. Once a girl decides that cake is more important than Christ, I think that pretty much seals it.

  21. Played an hour or so of starfield. It's fine so far. It feels a lot like fallout 4 in space, which should not be surprising I guess. I get the feeling ill give up on the game about 20 hours in.

  27. How about climbing tools such as spiked gloves, boots and knee pads crafted from acorn shells &/or beetle carapace. Some type of line or thread attached to a needle or spike. Either swung and thrown by the player and also fired from a bow. The ability to climb the thread/line both upwards & abseiling downwards. Climbing could drain stamina so as to limit how much the player might exploit the environment. Being able to abseil down and dangle in an open space and potentially begin to shift your weight forwards and back in order to swing.

  30. Daniil Orain is doing commendable work, but to regard that as representative of how things are in Russia and with Russians in general is naive almost in the extreme. So, when the school system is being inundanted with propagandistic material, you cannot scoff it away as easily as that, by pointing at "silly Russian educators" whose schemes can be easily bypassed. No: if their plans come to fruition, the results are going to be devastating (in terms of historical truths) on a massive scale. There is no doubt that there will still be people who are interested in truth and will go to great lengths to find out about it, but you seem to completely miss one of the main aims of this drastic change in the curriculum: to ensure that less and less people will be honestly curious in the first place. Like, for example, any terrorist trainer will tell you: start indoctrinating them when they're young enough and they'll be yours. This is the aim.
