First of all, I don't at all buy that Russia has that kind of tank production capacity, or production capacity for anything, especially now under sanctions. But even if it happens, so what? Very effective Western ATGMs are a small fraction of the cost of a modern tank.3 points

Another reason for me not to buy Diablo 4. They already want 70 bucks for the game, and then still try to fleece me for more. No thanks, it's too big of a turn-off for me.2 points

So apparently by buying one of the pricier Diablo 4 editions, you get access to the game 4 days earlier than people who buy the regular edition. Dunno if companies do that regularly these days, but what a stroke of genius! You get to let people in stages instead of all at once which is better for server load, AND they pay for it!2 points

That is one reason I don't feel like dealing with always online gaming, when said game can still be solo'ed/single-player-ed. Even when it becomes more stable, from work or less people playing, I've had enough latency/lag spike deaths and disconnects, thanks. Or those times when servers are down and you cannot play your ... SP/solo game. Just make it a MT MMO and stop pretending/have done with it, Blizz.1 point

Okay, for Bonded Fury, an alternative idea would be to : - Set it back to 2 Bonds with no cooldown - Set the Bond regen mechanism as lasting till the end of battle. So once you cast it once, you won't have to think a lot about whether casting it again will result in a big Bond gain, marginal gain or loss I would consider being a bit more generous with other parameters (inspirations set to last 45s instead of 30s, 15% Bond gain when dealing damages) to compensate for the upfront cost. Better than 1 Bond cost in my book to avoid a "semi immunity" to Afflictions. Basically it would be "2 abilities for 1 Point", an active to reasonably buff your pet and a passive to regen bond. Both would fill balanced as individual abilities, so it is a bit generous to get both for 1 point, but you still have the constraint of casting it once to get the passive effect. I would aslo set back Healing Chain to 2 Zeal with no Cooldown, with a minor buff to 12 health per tick. I had the concern that even at 2 Zeals it could be too strong in favorable conditions (targetting only 2 narrow targets) granted the potential infinite Zeal of SC Paladin, but this issue was solved by Divine retribution rework. The recent Jump range reduction was also made to allow easier focusing. The ability isn't easy to use, but giving 300 base health to 2 targets for 2 Zeals feel quite good to me. This would completely eliminate Cooldowns, except for Spiritshift and Holy Radiance since I have no good alternative for them (and Cooldown is a strict improvement from once per encounter anyway). Since I'm buffing Bonded Fury to 45s, I plan to do the same with the sorta similar Inspired Discipline. It feels sometimes hard to optimize since Tier 1 inspirations feel a bit redundant with some Fighter self buff or Party buff.1 point

So you're telling me that a Wiz / Monk is now able to gain Monastic Unarmed Training and Trasncedant Suffering through normal levelling ? Ahem, I should check this one, I bet there's a way to prevent it from happening. OK, basically it is becasue I didn't include the "not Monk" condition in the added ability. It is easy to correct. That's part of the point. With a lower cooldown, PL/INT won't get any benefit ! I thought about it again for 2.5.1, but until now, I haven't found an alternative way that fits what I was trying to do (allow a "clean" way to gain bond) If at some point I get an idea that fully satisfies my views, I will consider removing the cooldown. Hey good luck !1 point

All the videos I've seen re: the Druid is that sure, it can kill/do everything but it's the clear speed (vs. the other classes and while not needing very specific gear pieces) people are complaining about. If your long-term goal is to level up a chr to max level and then farm endlessly for paragon and gear/upgrades/craft, or climb a season Ladder, you want a fast clear speed. If you don't care about that/aren't in a hurry, and simply enjoy Druid skills/style play, nothing wrong with it. But I'm sure Druid will get buffed and Necro/Sorc get nerfed before release.1 point

I suppose the Nord Stream incident is going to be one of those cases where we're never going to find a smoking gun, and this is not because it's a particularly poor metaphor when applied to an underwater operation.1 point

I feel like D4 is this weird crossroads where what they want is to create a mega live-service profit juggernaut but are still afraid to tick off too many players/long time fans, and this is their way of getting more people to slowly accept transitional changes. Baby steps. Which I have no problem with in a business or Diablo-should be pure sense. I just lament the continuing loss of single-player/offline option/gaming, whether in Diablo or anything else.1 point

I don't need it to be hand-painted (particularly given how samey ye posters of olde were anyways, as imitators would imitate imitators), but the fact that digital art can be made so much easier and with fewer limitations makes it all the more bewildering that the vast majority of movie posters are simply lazy publicity photos of the stars slapped together with nary thought or feeling put towards its creation. It's the style of poster Hollywood currently desires for its movies, but hopefully it'll someday soon fall in favor of more creative endeavours. The only problem with a great/fun high concept poster is that often times, the movies to whom they belong to will markedly fall short of the expectations set by the poster... That last one here is Alien, of all things - not exactly a perfect stylistic fit if you ask me, .1 point
