  1. Well, that sort of makes the following statement true... Ukraine is full of Neo Nazis... it's just not full of Ukrainian Neo Nazis. Heck, anywhere in the world that has Sky News/Fox News (same thing) seems to have sizeable portions of either established Neo Nazis or wannabe Neo Nazis, as they appear to be the target of Murdoch's media empire. Anecdotal alright, but from personal experience such is the case down here (i.e. Murdoch's goons outlets riling up people to do violent protests against Covid measures, tax reforms, same sex marriage, alternatives to fossil energy, separation of church and state, better education, crack downs on corruption etc., all the things that threatens right wing governments)

  2. well OK, I am sometimes pretty emotional about the topics, as my “adopted” ukrainian boy is back in Ukraine for few months, and is in the age, when he can get conscripted. My emotions were not pointed towards you though, and I did not meant to blame you that you are meaning that UA is Neonazis, as I am pretty much aware, of your opinions and so on… looking back at it, I just should not have quoted you, which might probably be clearer, that I was speaking in general. You know, I have to hear every day hours upon hours from clueless people, like the politician you mentioned in your previous posts, how COVID never existed and Russia is not attacking civilians, only nazis, which practicaly do not exist in any meaningful form in Ukraine, compared to the countries, which I named above. And reading here some people pointing everytime how bad was UA to RU, while completely denouncing what RU has and still is doing to them, can sometimes fire me up… Anyway, if I shall correct you, from what I know, UA had never severe problem with neonazism, compared to their neighbours, with the exception of Belarus. Yes some neonazis are in UA army, like everywhere in the world, and again, as far as I know, the number is again insignificant comapred to every other neighbouring country with the exception of Belarus again. And the another correction would be the alleged whataboutism. I do not know, if that was at me, or at Bruce, but in the case if it was at me, well, some people (not you) are talking about widespread Neonazism in UA, and are completely ignorant to the fact, that there are currently more Russian neonazis in UA, than there ever were Ukrainian neonazis. And these Russian neonazis, like the one from the interview I have posted, are there with only one goal. Ethnic cleansing, with the blessing of their government.

  3. Georgina Beyer, the world's first openly transsexual MP. Prior to that was mayor of a pretty conservative rural town. Instrumental while in parliament to establishing civil unions and getting our prostitution laws out of the stone age- a law that was expected to fail by a decent margin. Gave a fantastic speech that changed a lot of people's minds and was good enough to get an abstention out of the only muslim MP (it passed by one vote, via that abstention).

  4. Speaking of right wing governments… Netanyahu is on trial for corruption, nothing new there. Like his brother in spirit Trump, he wants to bend the rules and take direct control of the judiciary. No surprise there either. What is surprising is the Israeli airforce not agreeing. Reservists are going on “strike” to protest the changes. I guess losing the support of the IDF is not good for wannabe totalitarians? https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2023/3/6/israel-air-force-reservists-to-skip-training-in-netanyahu-protest

  5. left and right are not inherently evil. I am pretty centric myself I guess. Its just Nazi is so much more than just economic theory. to call someone Nazi he needs to be: 1. Nationalist as opposed to internationalist or globalist 2. Economically on the left (planned economy - state owned) as opposed on being free marketeer 3. Race supremacist or just racist 4. militarist as opposed to pacifist 5. authoritarian/dictatorial as opposed to Democratic or Libertarian/anarchic if you minus point 3 you are fascist thats why I am saying that not all racist are nazis. Not everyone you disagree with is nazi.

  6. Always a funny debate, especially when you consider what's the point of it. Well other than farming YouTube views, anyway. Suppose it depends a lot on whatever definition this guy runs with. Useful quote from Hitler, if anything from him can be called that "'Socialist' I define from the word 'social; meaning in the main ‘social equity’. A Socialist is one who serves the common good without giving up his individuality or personality or the product of his personal efficiency. Our adopted term 'Socialist' has nothing to do with Marxian Socialism. Marxism is anti-property; true socialism is not. Marxism places no value on the individual, or individual effort, of efficiency; true Socialism values the individual and encourages him in individual efficiency, at the same time holding that his interests as an individual must be in consonance with those of the community. All great inventions, discoveries, achievements were first the product of an individual brain. It is charged against me that I am against property, that I am an atheist. Both charges are false."

  7. Song of Farca. The linearity is becoming slightly uncomfortable - the MC blackmailed a random person in order to get a gift for her girlfriend. I suppose, the game highlights nicely why you don't want anything in your apartment to be connected to the Internet unless absolutely necessary (so the phone and the PC only, with the cameras and microphones unattached or covered while not in active use). The story in general has been interesting enough - some of the cases are related to major city (the titular Farca) events.

  8. We probably use different definitions of what nazis are. That said, this feels like arguing semantics. Does it make a difference if the right wingers are jew-hating nazis or rather hate some other minority? At the end of the day, they are all the same garbage that belongs into the trash.

  10. I am sorry, but If anyone thinks that Ukraine has problem with Neo-Nazism, than he is very very wrong. There are no Neo-Nazi MPs in Ukrainian parliament for many many many years. So if people are judging whole country by few nationalists, which do not have any political influence in the country, what would say that for Germany, Austria, Slovakia, Netherlands, and many more EU countries, which have big bunch of Neonazis in their local governments, and even in EU parliament, and can influence the laws on multinational level? Neonazis in Ukraine is just a scapegoat of Russian propaganda nothing else. Same as it was a scapegoat for Soviet Union, when tey purged 22 thousand officers of Polish Army in Katyn. On the other hand, this is an example of Russian Officer, which came to Ukraine to denacify it… Especially the last 10 seconds of the video… Edit: oh and the finish guy is a prime example of average supporter of Russia within EU. He is either useful idiot, paid by russia, neonazi or tankie (i do not know a better term for that “diagnosis” as bunching all of the leftists into Putin loving herd, is very very bad generalization)…

  11. Preface: I enjoy creating unconventional builds that have interesting and varied playstyle, preferably ones that make some thematic sense. So while I dont need super optimal character creation, I would like to make the most of what the classes can bring to the table. With that out of the way, I actually think this is a fairly solid combination. One of the issues with Priest is that they spend so much time casting, if multiclassing you usually want either 1. To have a way to speed up said casting or 2. to have some action economy going, where theyre bringing passive value from the multiclass while Priest is occupied with their casting. Some of the pros of a Priest/Ranger I can see: The pet can be dealing damage and keeping the enemy occupied completely independent of what the Priest is doing Ranger actually does have a speed buff in Evasive Roll, giving 10 seconds of quick at Class Lvl 3 Marked Prey (+10 ACC one enemy), Stalker's Link (+10 ACC on each pet-engaged enemy), and Survival of the Fittest (+10 ACC on enemies under 50% health) are (as far as I'm aware, correct me otherwise please) conditional accuracy buffs that stack, and apply to not just weapon attacks but spells also. There are a few ways to boost engagement of the pet like Champions Boon or that one Chanter chant, so you can even make Stalker's Link effect multiple targets thats a whole lot of spell (and weapon attack) accuracy. All the Ranger's accuracy buffs and other passive ranged attack buffs provide the Priest with a pretty solid autoattack DPS when they're not casting Priest+Ranger apparently has more story interaction triggers than any other combination, when choosing the right subclasses (Priest 25, Ranger 21, Magran 25, Ghost Heart 14). I dont know if any of these overlap or if they even bring any value gameplay/battle wise, but I thought it was interesting There are naturally some downsides with all these of course, but overall the combination isnt too shabby compared to other Priest multiclasses. Some thoughts on subclasses... Priest of Berath/Ghost Heart - This sounds fun from a thematic point of view. Priest of Death + ghost wolf. Ghost Heart means you can fire and forget your pet at the start of battle without worrying about it dying and debuffing yourself. Touch of Rot does stupid damage for a Lvl 1 spell even if it has some limitations. This might be one of the few times the Greatsword modal might be useful (+30% damage for -10 ACC) with your overabundance of Accuracy buffs on a single target. Otherwise you can go into battle with one or more Arquebus/Arbalest, unload at the start, go on a casting spree, then summon your spirit Greatsword with a 31% corrode weapon lash to finish off single targets. I doubt Rot Skulls would be worth it still, maybe with the Ranger bounce and as a way to simply put a DOT on the enemy to buff pet damage? Priest of Magran - Has a number of Priest-unique damaging spells. Ray of Fire + Ranger ACC bonuses probably works great, as does getting a crit with something like Shining Beacon (not unique to Magran but fitting for leaning towards fire). Torrent of Flame could be kind of hilarious using Evasive Roll to teleport into perfect position to blast enemies. Itd likely be much better to have Magran's Favor + Marux Amanth (or Sun and Moon) for spell PL boosting/echo chance, so unfortunately the ranged perks of Ranger would be a bit wasted...Although potentially the spirit weapon pistol + bounce + 31% fire lash + ACC bonuses + Gunner could be pretty solid damage? Also can just switch over to another weapon slot. Priest of Skaen - for some reason I assumed Finishing Blow was melee ranged, but nope! I havent actually tested this, but Finishing Blow + Ranger Bounce ACC buffs should do a truckload of damage. Could even combine this with Hand Mortars or other AoE/bounce unique weapons too. Marux Amanth could even give it a chance to echo? Arcane Archer - I didnt enjoy this subclass much last time I tried it, and if I remember correctly none of the spiritual weapons apply as Arcane, so your autoattacks would get an ACC penalty unless you had one of the specific unique weapons that have that property...and I completely forget which actually apply. That said, I guess with the right setup these abilities could be a great start of fight opening to pin down enemies, with imbue web/pull of Eora, then you could start piling on debuffs or damage while theyre immobilized, or fire off a Fireball, which with Ranger bounce + bounce from weapons could cause some chaos. Seeing as you spend so much time casting as a Priest, just dumping all your Bond points at fight start for big effect kind of makes sense. Magrans Favor in one hand + Fire in the Hole in the other would probably have the most synergy here, with the + to Fire PL and the extra bounce. Priest of Woedica - not much here other than the fact the spiritual weapon is extremely strong. Not a ton of unique synergy with Ranger though other than all the ACC buffs... Sharpshooter - When paired with a Hunting Bow with its -50% recovery modal, might be a pretty solid combo. Anyways, Ill leave it at that. Look forward to hearing any more ideas I hadnt thought about. Thanks for reading!

  13. I don't really see how SC barbarian is weak in any way. The shouts are amazing, you can literally end most fights just by shouting the enemies to death with the long range shout, or keep them permanently dazed + deal decent damage with the other one. Retaliation is also extremely strong, especially if you really dump your deflection. With heavy armor (especially Patinated Plate), Fire Godlike and the daze shout, you can keep the enemy permanently underpenetrating against your armor, even if they crit. Leap is also very good, a very fast, spammable AoE 6 second stun + damage is ridiculous for 2 resources (compare vs Gaze of the Adragan). I get the feeling that you are looking at the classes in the context of megaboss fights which is not the right idea IMO. The game is not balanced around megaboss fights and outside of maybe Belranga they are very poorly designed due to ridiculously high boss defenses and the need for resource regeneration.

  14. No I don't because nazis are not right wingers. Thats the issue. You are calling hot cold and cold hot. Nazis should be fired into the sun, free market people are innocent in this and you are grouping them with worst scum on earth. Thats why meaning of words is important. Unless you mean free market people should be fired into sun, in that case I don't know what to tell you as you are in same camp as Nazis and Communists. This is classic tactic of guilt by association.

  15. Played a bit of Wo Long. Port must be the worst one I experienced in a long time. Nothing my 3070 couldn’t power through so far, but There are stutters and framerate isn’t smooth. I hear mouse and keyboard are atrocious but I play with controller, so can’t comment. I am lukewarm regarding the game so far. Didn’t play Niohs, so can’t compare. It feels sloppier and messier than FromSoftware games.

  16. BPM did improve barbarians and they make fantastic fighters in multiclass builds, like brutes, ravagers, and savages are all really, really good, but this is mostly because of some low to mid level passives (one stands alone, blooded, bloody slaughter, interrupting blows, threatening presence, bloodlust) and just two active abilities (blood storm and stalwart defiance). These abilities allow you to do tons of damage, interrupt on crits, and with potions of enlightenment and high INT and perception / hit to crit you can keep up blood storm and stalwart defiance throughout even the longest fights. The rest of the active abilities, while some are fun (heart of fury, yay!), are pretty superfluous and don't really add anything to the class's utility (besides maybe leap if you can't get a movement power from another class). The tier 8 and tier 9s are especially "meh" and going single class doesn't really add anything to the awesome tier 1 to 7 abilities besides power level, which isn't as important for the barbarian as say a monk. And 33% resource regen on kill is not nearly enough reason to go SC, particularly when you can just take corpse eater and get +3 rage per corpse (though I generally prefer generic barbarian). ---- Got a bit of a rant here. Was playtesting a savage (generic barbarian / generic ranger). Overall it is a ridiculously good build, can stack accuracy + defenses with ranger's beast claw (plus marked prey etc.) and stack damage, action speed, plus good healing with barbarian. Plus 50% interrupts on crit. Build had no problem with any megabosses (minus Hauni O Whe). Doesn't even need armor. Dorudugan was second hardest, but he goes down eventually if you can damage him fast enough while healing yourself. Anyway, I go on to fight HOW, naked because armor breaks stupid fast in that fight. I have like a 60+ roll adjustment against HOW's deflection (accuracy stacks, flanked, cap of the laughingstock) plus power of money, pes, uncanny luck etc. so I am a crit machine, and with savage hunter talent (nice improvement btw) can do decent damage even without full pen. But the pet is actually kind of a problem here because it means more symbiote procs. Killed HOW form but a massive ooze formed from symbiotes in the meantime. I kill the massive ooze and about 50 smaller ones that keep popping up. Then the two gigantic oozes, as soon as one gets to bloodied it starts merging of course, and I can crit these guys like 80% but I only interrupt half the time, either I missed the interrupt on both or one was out of range of the carnage because the bloody things insantly merged back into HOW. Hadn't really lost any resources though, blood storm only has to be cast once in this fight, so could have kept going if I had to but I rage quit. Might try it again later with a ghost heart / barbarian, or just stick the boar in the corner until there's just smaller oozes left. 50% interrupt on crit may not be good enough, even with carnage and maxed INT, which is kind of sad (would be nice if you could see the carnage effect area like in POE1). Howlers sound good theoretically (energized + carnage) but can't reliably crit things. Maybe a wildrhymer could do it with the constant energized...but wildrhymer will have more trouble with Dorudugan. Well, maybe not, that fight might be possible with legendary war bow + overdraw + energized, think that puts you at 18 pen, then use summons to protect myself. The main question is whether that can damage him fast enough. Possibly, with Sure-handed Ila. Would be easy without abydon challenge, just use essence interrupter. Also, I recently discovered generic legendary weapons aren't subject to abydon challenge for some reason. Armor breaks down unique or not, but the generic weapons seem fine. Fists are still often the best choice but when you need ranged the generic legendary war bows are nice. This rant does have a bit of a point. First, really like the barbarian improvements in BPM, though it could probably use a bit more. Second, Blood Storm sometimes gives way too much time for crits. Normally it gives about 3 seconds on a crit but occasionally far more. I haven't found out exactly what triggers it but I had like 20,000 seconds of Blood Storm after about 45m and just the one cast. I saw it jump by over a thousand at certain points. I think it is an interaction between interrupting blows and blood storm. Not really a problem from my POV not to have to cast Blood Storm as much but thought I'd mention it.

  19. Hahah, now I'm curious. I thought that the BPM made Barbarians very strong single-class and multi-class material. I have to agree, however, on the general notion, that Single-class paladins still feel lacking. In my current run I'd really love to see Pallegina as SC Paladin, I just don't see how it comes close to Heralgina in terms of utility, damage or party support. Can't Divine Retribution be modified to only work on Party Members and not summons? Such as some items do iirc? This way it might still be useful for non-summon-parties?

  20. I haven't played priests much but I agree I always thought Minor Intercession was pretty weak as it is basically a weaker version of restore plus a super weak suppress affliction. I mean 5 seconds is enough for like one spell. Also the spellcaster classes have no resource regen besides blood mage. I find myself rarely wanting to play druid or priest for this reason. I guess compared to other classes they have more abilities so are more likely to get through fights without running out. --------------- Proposed paladin changes seem reasonable. But I thought light of pure zeal was fire / frost ? Are there any enemies immune to both? I have some additional thoughts and suggestions after reviewing and testing various abilities. Note my testing has been pretty limited compared to e.g. ranger so some of this could be off. Paladin IMO seems too limited in its "party support" role. Would be cool if some of the exhortations could be cast on oneself. Admittedly that part is biased from someone who likes to play solo. Moving on... First the subclasses, Darcozzi Paladini and Bleak Walkers seem especially weak, Kind Wayfarers also weak. Compared to Gilded Enmity or Steel Garrote's returned health on damage, adding a flame shield or some corrode damage to a "meh" ability is still very much "meh". Looking at some of the other abilities, Hands of Light and Greater Lay On Hands seem kind of expensive at 2 zeal. You just get 15s / 10s of courageous / robust respectively. There are very few single upgrade abilities that cost more than the original, I wonder why these are an exception? Even in paladin all the other ability upgrades cost the same amount. Like Hastening Exhortation to Hastening Command goes 15s nimble => 25s nimble, 25s strong, same price, which I know you changed but seems reasonable. Sacred Immolation => Sacred Sacrifice has quintuple duration for same price. I can't think of a good reason Hands of Light and Greater Lay on Hands cost twice as much, this doesn't happen with other heals like heal companion / hardy companion, savage defiance / savage courage, etc. Reinforcing Exhortation duration and especially upgrades seem a bit low at 10s. 15s seems more appropriate for L8 abilities. Glorious Beacon and upgrades duration seems low at 8s for 2 zeal. I mean chill fog lasts 15s and does damage (and is L1), sunbeam also L1 same duration but does damage. Liberating line seems good as is at 1 zeal with reasonable 15s durations. Reviving Line seems fine, ressurrection should be expensive. Hastening line seems good as is. Exalted Focus / Charge / Endurance. Charge upgrade (10% hit to graze) seems a little weak compared to the other two. Abjuration is something I'm never going to take, 3 zeal for single target damage limited to spirits and summons? Granted it destroys lower level spirits/summons but still, spirits and summons usually aren't enough of a problem to warrant spending 3+ zeal on them IMO. Providence seems too strong. At L20 you have typically anywhere from 9 to 16 zeal (possibly even more), giving you 3 to 5 full extra lives without zeal regeneration. My char has 14 with just paladin passives, crusted swordfish and adratic glow. If you're using a Potion of Enlightenment, you can die once every 90 seconds, sustainably (except for the injuries eventually killing you on high dificulties), kind of negating the downside of sacred sacrifice. Compare to fighter's unbreakable / unrelenting, which while free is one / encounter and gives you only 100 health (and some defensive bonuses). Providence seems like it should cost more or you don't come back with full health. Or per encounter like fighter. I do have one complaint where it could be improved though, the ability not removing injuries is really annoying and means you have to chug a ton of luminous adra potions or rest a lot. Sacred Immolation and upgrades, seem fine except when you can't use it because of things resistant to burn. Would be cooler if did like burn/slash or something, but I understand that doesn't really fit thematically. Also the self-damage doesn't show up in the log or above the character. Divine Immolation health upgrade doesn't scale with +health like every other ability. But the self-damage does scale with might and power level. Not sure what the justification for this is given the healing doesn't apply to the paladin. As you seem aware, Divine Retribution seems really busted in a party given summons count as allies. Just as example of said bustedness, if you have one or more chanters you could use divine immolation permanently, it lasts 26s with high int for 2 zeal, you could easily sustain that killing summons and probably have enough left over to heal yourself. Even not in a party charm of bones necklace is basically 10 free zeal per rest. And it isn't a very organic way to get zeal back since it forces you to artificially summon things and kill them or else kill your own party members which is generally not desirable. A better mechanic and one that fits more with the paladin's theme of immolating himself would be similar to what you suggest, zeal every x sec per health loss, though I think it should be tied to losing health, not merely being at low health, otherwise it is easy to make builds that lose some heatlh then sit around in back lines handing out endless exhortations and healing to the party. So it could be +1 zeal per X% of health lost (probably should be near 100 but just a guess) Light of Pure Zeal seems like it should target reflex. Nearly every fire/frost attack in the game targets reflex. All that said, the main thing I would like to see is hands of light / greater lay on hands reduced to 1 zeal and exhortations being self-targetable would be awesome though that is admittedly solo-biased. And I don't really like paladins much so these are just suggestions, won't endlessly debate like with ranger. ------------ I have lots of suggestions for barbarian also, let me know if/when you're ready to open that door.

  23. Bringing up any Russian neonazis isn't really whataboutism since it's relevant and you can argue in good faith about which side is worse in that respect. Don't think anyone would argue that Russia is anywhere close to lily white on the matter anyway. Only becomes s problem when, like labeling everything as false flag, it becomes a reflexive defence mechanism. OTOH, there's been plenty of distinctly unflattering analysis on the number of neo nazis in Azov and the like and the overt support they got from the government in Ukraine before it became fashionable to label them all as just loving the iconography- eg by Bellingcat, usually a darling of the proUA side. Plus, of course, the plethora of memorials to and streets named after Stepan Bandera in western Ukraine. Uncle Rupes is a utter knob, but he's just playing a big C Conservative knob, not a nazi one. And it is very much playing, dudes married to an asian women (half his age, and after dropping his long term wife with whom he had his children; great conservative values there mate) after all. The actual nazi encouragement tends to come from the fringe networks; Murdoch has just found that conservatives are easy to get outraged. Fox and especially Sky* are pretty tame, comparatively. It's mostly that Murdoch owns so much Australian media... *Australian Sky, UK Sky is owned by Comcast now, NZ Sky was never owned by Murdoch.

It is a problem, if a country (which by the way, has the most numerous neonazi organizations in the world) who is claiming, that started a war with denacification being their main goal, is having their army led by neonazis, who are considering ethnic cleansings as a just cause, and still blaming the victim, being the real nazis and it is also a problem, when a president of that big country is awarding Neonazis like Utkin and Rogozin with the highest state awards, and give them the most prominent positions in state aparatus.

Founder of the Russian Volunteer Corps, which has been fighting for Ukraine since at least September last year, and has been mentioned multiple times in that context by western media (which, and personally I am amazed at this, they seem to have forgotten about, now. eg, NYTimes just one outlet who interviewed him) Picked mostly because it's from before 2022 or the last few days, so can't be accused by either side of being biased by recent events: "..Those guys slowly gathering before the fights? Their tattoos feature symbols with neo-Nazi connotations such as the SS runic insignia. Their t-shirts are from well-known far-right fashion brands. That man running around like he’s the manager? He’s Denis Nikitin, a notorious neo-Nazi who has personally trained far-right extremists across Europe in combat, and has been called one of the most dangerous figures on Europe’s far right. Here in Kyiv, at a venue owned and operated by Ukraine’s far-right Azov movement.. ..Nikitin, now based in Kyiv, has urged his followers to train up for violence against Muslims and migrants.." 31. Hi everybody, I released a new version 2.4.1 yesterday Deadfire Balance Polishing Mod at Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com) Some minor changes mostly, included some previously buffed abilities that has been tuned down. To give a global picture about Enfeebled Affliction with this version : - Forbidden Fist : no changes from vanilla. Still the best way to inflict Enfeebled for a Multiclas. - Perishing Strike : Closer from the original than in Version 2.4. But now, Weakened is replaced by Enfeebled either when Weakened ellapses OR WHEN HEALTH DROPS BELOW 50% (immediately for target already below 50%). So contrary to before your target will get Enfeebled at some point before dying Still not ideal way to play around Hostile Effects extension, but at least systematically useful. - Writ of Mending : added in 2.4.1 a hard -100% healing received so it affects target even if resistant to CON Affliction, in a similar fashion as other Woedica Writs. I thought it was justified as a Tier 9. Probably the easiest way to apply Enfeebled in an AoE, but accessible only to Single Class from a specific Subclass. - Heart Seeker : BPM set its Enfeebled to Infinite Duration for a while as a way to promote SC Ranger as justify its 4 Bonds cost. Note that this is an Auto-Hit attack and has no synergy with AoE Weapons. - Corrosive Skin : BPM upgraded Weakened to Enfeebled for a while, based on people suggestion. Still locked behind the (anyway very powerful) Tier IX Wizard Slot. Contrary to the 2 previous ones, only applies to 1 target, so does not feel overwhelmingly powerful as a way to apply Enfeebled (but is good as a spell as a whole) Fractured Volition does not apply Enfeebled anymore in 2.4.1, but Duration is very long (30s) and recovery very low (3s). This is a similar change as Tenuous Grasp 2s recovery. I think it would be especially adapted to play as a "Mindstalker Death Mark". This way, Enfeebled remain a rare and powerful effect (but you can still pick Fractured Volition from older version, I don't think it would break the game anyway).
