Yeah, I do remember always thinking that the atmosphere of Diablo II would be so much more engaging if I could just spend a little more money on it, maybe buy a few skins and have the starting camp be full with idiots jumping about.3 points

It's just hostage taking with another name. Countries without good relations to maintain with the US, and without any strong democratic tradition, will once in a while just decide to take a US hostage and get paid, maybe they have an idea of what they want in advance, maybe they don't. But historically it has happened a lot of times.3 points

But only if the pet is the size of a small puppet and floats right behind your character at all times.2 points

Agreed. I remember playing my Necromancer and thinking D2 is okay but it's missing something. If only I could fork over some of my hard earned money to put a Santa hat on my Necromancer.2 points

Additionally, the bundle selector will hide existing .conversationbundle files when selecting where to create a new Conversation. -> Also added some labels to popups in the bundle selector, and popups will now gray out the parent dialog, not just the main window: ->2 points

Has there been a World Cup with this many upsets? It's surely been a while.2 points

She doesn't read the forum, no, but the necklace is not a secret present either. Not buying (kinda pricey) jewelry without checking if she likes it first.2 points

Had no less than 4 half drunk bottles of vodka in the house* so made limoncello. Ants managed to get into the white sugar, so ended up making it with brown sugar instead. Wouldn't score highly in terms of looks, but still tastes great. *not a fan personally, but people know I'm not so bring a bottle themselves, and they accumulate. At least I noticed one was feijoa vodka before adding it.2 points

Yeah we just need more open standards and not have graphics features locked to one gpu vendor2 points

My wife knows about you guys, but I don't need to worry about her browsing the forum. I bought a Zwift Hub Trainer, which is kind of a gift for both of us, but I have a feeling I will be using it most of the time. Still it's a pretty great price for a decent smart trainer. I almost bought a 2nd so we could ride side by side, but I figure I should see how well we do with one for now.2 points

Please add the ability to teleport pets. Many bases are built with the idea of not allowing bugs inside of them, making pets almost entirely null if you wish to have one. I live in a base I made on the side of the big tree, it would be nice to be able to teleport a weevil or aphid up to my home and keep them safe.1 point

I think this would be a great addition to the game to help with many builds. It would be even better if the half walls could go on the left half the right half and the middle two as well! Thoughts?1 point

2022-12-10 Popups will now "gray out" their parent dialogs and not just the main window. Improvements to Bundle Path selector: Existing files are now hidden when selecting where to create a new Conversation or Quest. Add labels to New File/Folder popups indicating which you clicked, e.g. "New .conversationbundle" New File button in the headerbar is moved to the left of the New Folder button for consistency with icons in the rows. Clicking the empty area to the left of the New File icon in the rows will no longer trigger the New File popup. Exception handling when a Conversation or Quest couldn't be loaded: If it's a "fixable" issue, a confirmation dialog will be displayed with the option to either apply the fix or close the tab. If it's not "fixable", a message dialog with the exception message will be displayed and the tab will close. Excplicit messages have been created for most FlowChart errors.1 point

Great job Morocco. I'm also torn. On one hand the English losing is always a good thing. On the other hand if they're distracted enough Ireland may be able to take revenge on them while they're celebrating.1 point

What's up with the holiday tree? Put one up and it didn't spawn anything? Have they already removed this feature or has it not worked from the beginning?1 point

Morocco winning put a smile on my face. As for the next match, I'm torn. England losing is always a welcome occasion, but I really want someone, anyone, to beat France. I guess I'm rooting for meteor.1 point

Astonishing victory for Morocco. The moment at the end, when the Moroccan player was one-on-one with the goalie, was a great example of fatigue and tension destroying all composure: the finish was awful, but I understand it.1 point

Indian PM Modi has refused to meet with Putin, and cancelled the annual bilateral meeting. Allegedly due to Putin’s nuclear threats. edit: In Slovakia, Greiner would have a chance to get up to 15 years for weed samples. It is bull****, I support decriminalisation as well, but if anyone plans to go here on a weed trip, because weed here is pretty cheap, he is ****ing idiot, and deserves what happens to him. Also I have no sympathy for any sportsman/woman, who goes to Russia, because of money. Especially, if he/she is from a country, which is on the official Russian enemy list. All of them are morons, who sooner or later ends up as Putin’s blackmail goods. 100-200k Euro extra yearly income for being in Russia is not enough money to outweigh all the risks involved…1 point

From what I understand it benefits developers too. Sure, they're great at cheating to make certain that everything looks realistic, but with ray tracing they can just set global illumination or one or two lights and be done1 point

This is still just a rumory rumor, but if that is what happened, then I am fully supporting the reboot. Man, would I be disappointed if Avowed turned out to be another weird also-coop game.1 point

I do use armor and tool displays but there’s more friends that cycle thru the gaming session that I’d need a grand hallway or tower dedicated of just tools and it would be cruel of me to make each player run up and down grabbing one tool at a time. And I can’t do mods cuz in a truck driver so I don’t have the luxury of space for a good gaming set up beyond console and tv. i do like the idea knight mentioned of locking hot deposit from the chest side of it.1 point

I played the 3 purely raytraced games, which are Minecraft, Quake 2, and Portal. The biggest differences from rasterized games is that the lighting is pretty much the real deal, and you can have an infinity number of lights, and they all realistically alter the scene. No doubt it is the future of gaming, tech just needs to evolve so it's not so expensive to process1 point

It's fair to say it was dumb to bring weed with her to Russia, but it's a bit much to say she deserves 9 years in prison for it. The reasonable punishment is confiscation, deportation, and maybe a travel ban. There are a lot of people in the comments section of Fox News and Facebook that love to spout "She broke the law! Let her rot!"1 point

Polished up off the South eastern areas before doing Leper's Smile. I've always used Sosiel for the bait squad because a guy who can heal seems like a no brainer here, I guess that Regill and Irabeth don't fare nearly as well and that Nurah's knowledge provides questionable benefits at best? Anyways looks like we're marching to Drezen right now, Daeran will end up waiting for his party so I can see what happens when the gang is all there.1 point

wotr feats am posting 'cause am not sure when lunge were added. one o' the recent patches? however, we don't see anything in any patch note offering. regardless, even w/o a reach weapon and size bonuses, the payoff makes this a worthy consideration for any wotr melee focused party. attacks of opportunity happen so much more frequent in wotr than pathfinder pnp, and is so many ways to exploit. the outflank feat, aeon's gaze and the aforementioned reach weapons, along with high level parties who have multiple pets making a trigger o' outflank all the more likely, is just a few ways o' generating boss killing attack of opportunity events. lunge is a not insignificant way to increase attack of opportunity potential. d&d and pathfinder bad maths is your gain as each additional 5' o' reach radius represents a significant increase in total reach area. anyways, lunge is worth considering if you got a melee party and an available feat. the -2 ac penalty is a minor price to pay for extra reach. HA! Good Fun!1 point

Given that today is Finland's Independence Day and another neighbour of Russia is in deep trouble, here's this. A Finnish choir went and sung this in front of the Russian embassy in Helsinki, with "Finland" in the lyrics exchanged for "Ukraine". This one here is an unbelievably spirited performance, I must say -- and the composition is indeed very moving. I wonder how long it took the choir to get their Finnish pronunciation up to this level (it's all right; they're in trouble with some diphthongs but that's all right, too).1 point
