  1. If the shrimp want to survive they should simply stop being eaten and move to an area that isn't in danger of pollution.

  3. It's a stylized Aedyran similar to the Oathbinder Sword, but the Avowed hand appears to be bringing some "Joy" to the party. In a roundabout way, relying on spells for basic emotions seems pretty on-point for #TeamWoedica.

  4. Look at it on the bright side. At least Sudan get 700 million, Pakistan gets 10 million for gender studies, AIDS workers a broad get to buy brand new cars at taxpayer expense, and the office of budget analysis gets to have $1.5 million for a reception. Nothing like partying on the taxpayer dime. You guys wonder why I hate the f——-g government. I wonder why you don’t. When the unwashed ignorant plebeians start getting restless about the way their money is being squandered the sewer rats throw them a little bone. Here take your $600 and shut up. Now, take your $600 and stop questioning what your betters do with "their" money you dirty ignorant pesants. Never forget... your tax dollars that you worked to earn paidfor this: Life at Pacific | The Original Shrimp on a Treadmill - YouTube Oh, by the way, before anyone gets on their goddamned partisan high horse, both parties wrote and backed this BS bill. And while we're on the subject I'll just leave this here: www.usdebtclock.org In April of 1775 a militia of pissed off and resolute men started a war with the most powerful nation on earth over less. If we were even one quater the men they were the rats in DC would never even attempt this kind of bulls--t.

  7. Ran through the drive-in date with Rogue, then meeting the rest of the band in the aftermath. I guess it's kind of quirky that my V is wearing Silverhand's boots, pants, jacket, and shades and none of his old "friends" comment on it. Rogue does comment if you're driving around in his Porsche, so half thought there might be other dialogue, but alas, no.

  9. I generally keep everyone outfitted (for both active play and ship crew battles ) but when I send them to their cabin I may pull any of the especially good pieces they are using and pass them to active characters who can make better use of them at that time. I spend quite a bit of time redoing active characters with new gear as it arrives as well. I really appreciate the fact that Pillars has streamlined this process in many ways - back in the original BG 1 - I used to "save" items for later "when I really need them" by stashing them in particular containers - a barrel outside the smith in Beregost was a main drop point in early play then later after opening the gate to BG City I actually spent 2 or 3 trips carrying the items from Beregost to BG City where I would stash them in 2 barrels outside the Inn I used as a base - one barrel for a,b,& c items and the other for x,y,& z. Of course most of these items remained there forever - never used - since there was no way I could carry them all off to the final battle anyway-

  11. the question is, "why?" who here believes trump gives a darn about economic suffering of americans, present or future? so, the more vital and pertinent question is, how does this move benefit a soon-to-be ex-President? what is trump 'bout to do which he believes necessitates drumming up popular support? as @BruceVC observes, demand $2000 stimulus puts pressure on trump Congressional allies as 'posed to democrats. petty mischief and wanton vandalism is motivations enough for trump, but one would expect such to be directed at those he deems enemies. $2000 stimulus is not the goal. eye on the ball. HA! Good Fun!

  14. The video you linked indicates the treadmill in the video cost about $50 and was paid for out of the scientists pocket. This article indicates about $1,000 of the grant they received went towards a second treadmill. The study was a part of a study looking at how shrimp, a widely consumed marine food, adjusted to environmental changes

  15. Man, I'm through now and this game kept on giving until the very end. It's DLC time but the season pass seems to be on discount everywhere except key shops I'm not sure about -- I really want to support this game/dev by buying the season pass at a regular price. I'm actually thinking about buying it twice then, once on Steam and once on Gog.

  19. Hubby: "How do you spell 'errand', like you have to go do something? Searching isn't helping..." ...I mention this only because, afterwards, I tried typing "airund" and "airrund" into search, which I bet is similar to what hubby probably tried before calling to me. Try it, even Google won't think "did you mean errand?" Which is interesting/kind of surprising, actually. Google-fail! haha. Dictionaries/search only help if your phonetic spelling is kind of close to what you're looking for.

  20. So i did some testing and results are surprising 1. I made custom monk/debonaire with total Acc, when weapon equiped - lower than 49 (dummys deflection), to prevent regular crits on dummy 2. Added Heartbeat Drumming by console command. Swift Flurry was off to not disturb the tests 3. Charm Dummy with Chanter Invocation, so only first hit can be critical - no HBD chains 4. Hit dummy 5. Profit! 1 - Chanters Charm 2 - initial frost head missed 3 - HBD triggered frost head hit 4 - HBD triggered flame head hit 5 - initial flame head hit->crit by Debonaire ability (this one initiate HBD) Here I was wrong - it does launches two hits Edit: I did some more tests, to confirm repeatability, and it seems like frost hit roll is counted as first and fire as second. Frost get converted to crit even if both head hits, but fire head, only when frost missed. Both can be converted to crits by One-Handed Style talent and both can trigger HBD. The order in the fight log looks like this: 1a. Frost hit roll from HBD 2a. Fire hit roll from HBD 3a. Initial frost hit roll 1b. Frost hit roll from HBD 2b. Fire hit roll from HBD 3b. Initial fire hit roll So all HBD procs are typed above the hit roll that launched them

  21. Fixed that for you. It's so sad that HBO ran out of money and could never finish the series. Who knows, maybe Martin will actually finish the books at some point. Maybe in 20 years or so, assuming he lives that long.

  22. The benefits of not being an early adopter. I'm taking the same approach with Cyberpunk 2077, I'll buy it when version 1.20 (or higher) releases.

  25. Are you looking for discussions re: specific Obs games? I'd guess most people don't feel like there's much to still be discussed since they're largely long past release dates and there also haven't been any big announcements recently. Generally speaking I don't think (specific) game forums tend to stay very active past 3-6 months after release, these days, whether it's here, Steam forums, GoG forums, reddit groups, gamefaq's, or whatever. Cyberpunk is being talked about in the general C&C threads because it's a big anticipated current release - and in a week or three it'll mostly be another footnote, probably, until some DLC, maybe.

  26. The complete lack of marketing has to be No. 1. I don't recall seeing an ad anywhere. I originally thought that the Baldur's Gate successor genre was running out of steam since DAO started it, but Pathfinder Kingmaker did really well, so I doubt that is it. The game is so badly optimized that I think word of mouth turned a lot of people off. I still runs like garbage today, and has been abandoned by the devs. The load times were ridiculous. I pretty much try to avoid Queen's Berth at every opportunity, because I don't want to sit through a five minute loading screen every time I exit a building. The vast quantity of loading screens in general. By all accounts, the console port is even worse. Even if it had sold better, the game was over-budgeted. I don't know how much they paid Mercer and friends to hang out, but it was too much. Not sure why they threw this much money at a niche product, and expected to make a profit. For all they spent, the game doesn't work nearly as good as the budget would indicate. That said, I love the game despite the flaws. I prefer it to DOS2, and liked it better than Kingmaker, at least until Kingmaker got patched up.
