Star Citizen is going to have a big HD footprint, I suppose it's not too outlandish considering the bloated installs Rockstar delivers.

What exactly is in this game that it might be 100 and more GB of disc space in the end?

Beats me, I guess lots of lossless audio and textures so that the buttons off to the side in the ****pit are super realistic.

Increased aggression after playing games linked to frustration and feelings of incompetence derived from failing or bad mechanics not violent content. So the last negative effect of violent video games has been debunked.

No it doesn't debunk anything; it just demonstrates one source of aggression derived from gaming.

Co-author Prof Richard Ryan, from the University of Rochester, said: "The study is not saying that violent content doesn't affect gamers..."

"It has just been discovered that research causes cancer in rats."

I like a lot of the ideas but perma-perma death sounds pretty unworkable long-term for various reasons (keeping the game and audience numbers alive as well as the actual players). Every session having an audience who control player levelling sounds fantastic though.

Dreamfall Chapters part 2 is out now a little early.

Started playing it.

Unity is still the worst engine ever.

Still lagging terribly ?

I agree that the audience leveling is pretty cool but I wouldn't even be able to enjoy a game with perma-perma death. Id be a constant nervous wreck. laughing.gif

I still cant fathom how kirottu beat D3 on Hardcore with his mage. I have over 1k hours in my DK, and Im not a schlub, and I die at least once almost every game. I cant imagine losing all that work in a single instance.

Hm, that's a shame. I suppose they didn't have an alternative, at least back then (UE4 being free is an option now).

Doesn't Cities Skylines also use Unity?  I heard that game runs like a champ.

It runs smooth for me on my ancient 560ti, chugs when I zoom down with less of the hideous blurring (Tilt or something, they call it).

Also Cities sold 250k (with pre-orders) on the first day.

Life is Strange Episode 2 coming March 24th.

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2015-03-14-life-is-strange-episode-2-release-date

So let me get this straight, March 24th is releasing Bloodborne, Borderlands Handsome Collection, and Life is Strange Episode 2. Looks like I know where all my time is going.

At least Tales from the Borderlands is getting a week jump on all that.

I keep forgetting Pillars releases that week since I can't play it. Might be building a PC soon to do so.

I love how Unreal Tournament 4 is coming together piece by piece. It already looks like an UT99 made with todays technology which is absolutely wonderful.
