  1. BG's amount of voice over is enough for me.
  2. Speaking of Obsidian games, both KOTOR2 and NWN2 had this. And yes, I think bashable doors and chests really make sense. At least, wooden doors and chests.
  3. Not surprised at all. It's kinda cool that Wasteland 2 and Project Eternity have a lot in common. Really excited about both games.
  4. I think tattoos should stay unique to PS:T. Based on what's been revealed about the game world, I don't think they'll fit in there.
  5. I'm one of those who like to thoroughly explore the game world without being rushed. A few timed quests is ok for a change of pace, but please please no global timer.
  6. Yes, adding children would make the world more realistic. Yes, I think they should be unkillable. Obsidian said that the game would be 'mature', but, in my opinion, maturity doesn't equal being able to kill everyone in your way.
  7. Well... With NWN-like graphics, these things would matter to me. But if they are inch-high figures, I must admit, I don't really care about their height or body type.
  8. Yes, the deadline should be flexible. Doesn't matter if the game reaches 3 million or 5 or 10, they should take their time. Actually I also think April 2014 is a bit too soon, but Kilroy_Was_Here is right, it's too early to tell. All in all, I don't mind waiting 2-3 years for this game.
  9. I rarely place traps when playing as a rogue, but I like scouting ahead of the party and disarming them. It's fun and it's a nice change of pace.
  10. Yes on all three. I'd love to have romance options, but it's not a must. A deep, compelling story and a detailed world (not even graphics, but story-wise detailed) with its own cosmogony, history and culture is much more valuable.
  11. 1: Sure, in some cases. Like people already said, nighttime should benefit some skills - like stealth and pickpocketing (but also make it harder to see enemies... or traps, for example). Some time-specific quests would also be nice, 2: Again, in some cases. No global urgency, but some quests where it really makes sense to hurry - for example, if you need to rescue a hostage or something ike that. 3: I chose 'cosmetic' in this one. It's fun, but I think I would be annoyed if lightning bolts randomly struck my companions or the rain quenched my wall-of-fire spell.
  12. I'd love to have long descriptions. Probably not for every small encounter (I don't think a vendor needs a lot of text), but for important situations. I remember how amazed I was in PS:T when the Nameless One finally met Ravel - it was done brilliantly. And yes, I think skill checks or percentage should be hidden.
  13. That would be great. Also I'd like companions or other NPCs to react if my character runs around naked.
  14. Totally agree. Sounds can be so much more powerful than graphics. They really make cities and landscapes and smaller locations 'alive'.
  15. I prefer option 1 or 2. Wouldn't want non-active companions to lag behind and become useless in the end.
  16. I chose 'tamed reality'. I want to see deep political and social problems there, but I definitely don't want horrifying things and explicit violence in this game.
  17. Voted "almost everything". I like to find peaceful solutions to difficult situations but of course it should be reasonable. Also would be nice if we received the same amount of xp for using our wits as for using our sword.
  18. Not needed. Useless and annoying. I don't really need to know how many monsters I killed or how many fireballs I shot.
  19. Why not, as long as they fit into the setting and are not overused. It's hard to avoid cliche with these things, but a couple of darker questlines involving undead would be nice. I remember I really loved the haunted forest and Charwood Village in NWN 1.
  20. Thank you, guys - everyone at Obsidian. Can't even describe how excited I am about this game and how glad that you decided to do it.
  21. Fallout, BG, Torment. And then KOTOR2 and NWN2+MOTB showed me that these people were still capable of making great games. Been a fan of Obsidian ever since.
