I`ve noticed that you can stand on a rock, or a high surface and lay waste to bugs who cant climb up and get you. Spiders cannot climb up a simple rock, or near the hedge at the branches, or other bugs. Bugs that have the capabilities of climbing should do so, to encourage more tactical gameplay and more intense combat, rather than standing atop of a rock and cheesing enemies. Also if you have your base at a higher location than the surface, it is very boring because nothing can reach you. Players should protect their own base, and learn from their mistakes, and it is much more fun to defend your base when someone attacks Suggestion: - Spiders and other insects (that can climb) should be able to climb up almost any surface (except player buildt walls etc) , ceilling, some at slower pace, to give the player time to react - this will encourage tactical play, and bring more intense fun combat encounters - Spiders should be able to use their web to get over places, ascend down from the ceilling, shoot it at you more frequently if it cant reach you, so a mix of climbing and shooting web - would make the spiders more fun to fight, and spiders should not be underestimated! - Dynamic climb animations for bugs that can climb Overall, an amazing game, and i pray for content updates for the upcoming several years! Not sure if this is where to post an idea about the thing lurking in the hedge, but here goes! I have an idea that I think could make the Hedge Broodmother more accurate and way more terrifying at the same time. I went up against her solo and only took 5% health worth of damage, overall if she is supposed to be a boss I think she needs to be more difficult. So wolf spiders can get big, I think that she should be made a little bigger to start with as a spider that is older than the others, with more health to go along with that size. Now for the main idea, wolf spider mothers also carry their young on their backs, and it is a scary image if you dare to look it up. I realize that having 1000 baby spiders in such a small area is probably not possible due to frame rates and whatnot, but I think it should be possible to have maybe 10 or so crawling on her back? They could possibly jump off (or spawn off her) and attack the player/players from different angles making it harder to simply focus on her during combat. I am not sure if this idea has already been considered and dismissed, but I think (granted I am not a game developer so I have no idea what is really possible here) that this idea is definitely worth some looking into. I am in love with the game so far, and can't wait to see what new things are added to the backyard, I will be exploring all of it. Thank you!!
I finally bought the Ultimate Edition of FNV, so a new playthrough is in order. This time with J. E. Sawyer's rebalance mod and a bunch of visual enhancements for flavor. In my quest for cool looking weapons and models I came across this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=msd1bzwYuqo While it was tough to find the R.S.A. mod (by Master_Shifu, not featured on Nexus, probably due to legal considerations), I did find an archive that claims to be this mod. But The Rock in DEVGRU equipment is what I really want for my game, and I can't find it Anyone know how this can be achieved? I found references to a certain mod pack called VGU (by dragbody), which apparently features equipment from games like Modern Warfare 3, where this particular armor could've been lifted from, but the mod itself is pretty much impossible to track down. Another mod I found (http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/40661/?) is called Famous People, this seems like a good candidate for having The Rock's face. Anyway, can someone help me out in identifying the mods in the video?
So, how socially realistic do you desire the Eternity world will be ? Note that choosing "Hard realism" doesn't mean there will be gore, sex, etc every 60 seconds, but only when artistically needed. EDIT: fixed the polls. "Brutal Realism" is now "Hard Realism"
