I'm confused is the game called Project Eternity or Eternity?
I think they should choose the title themselves.

[Merged] Durability
In Morrowind it was implemented quite nicely. You needed to have the skill and the tool to repair items, and if an item's durability dropped to zero, you couldn't use it until you fixed it. It made sense in that game but I'm mot sure if I want this in PE. It can become quite annoying if it happens too often and you have to carry extra stuff because of that. Even more so, if you can make repairs only at specific places.

In-Game Tutorial
I'd like a tutorial at the start of the game that leads to the story, but with the option to skip it later. Kinda like NWN2 or KOTOR2.

Loot Flavor Text & Lore Books
Yes, yes, yes. Lore books and good item descriptions are definitely a must.

Experience for Killing Enemies
Exactly. That's always been my problem with many RPGs. Not only when I play a rogue (though I often do), but also when I play a pacifist diplomatic type of character (which I do even more often).

What party selection system is best?
Second one. Send companions to some specific (and safe! I don't want them to die stupidly) place, so I could return for them later. An inn of the nearest city makes perfect sense for me. True.

Teleportation
It's quite easy to make teleportation usable only when your character is out of combat. And, of course, to specify the distance. Or some binding points like it was, for example, in Hordes of the Underdark.

Why I'm not entirely happy with Update #7.
That's a really nice update. And this is what I like the most. I'm one of those who like using non-violent methods, but don't like to lose a half-level worth of xp because of that. Glad that now we'll be properly rewarded regardless of our style.

Level of power
Agreed. I don't want my character to be a superhero. Even at the end of the game.

Weapon fragments?
Would really like to see this in the game.

1 PC plus companions, or create multiple characters (plus companions?)
Actually, a PC-only party is what I dislike in RPGs. I find it hard to role-play more than 1 character. And I really love interacting with companions, learning their stories, gaining their trust, watching relationships within the party... that kind of thing. Without it the party (and the game to some extent) feels kinda... hollow. But, well, if it's an option, I'm fine with it.

[Suggestion] Time limit?
There is a similar topic about time and urgency: http://forums.obsidi...please-have-it/ P.S.: The search option is in the top right corner of the screen.

Anyone else worried about the design reward tiers?
Well, I'm quite certain that the devs will make sure that everything designed by the backers is consistent with the game world. After all, it's just a design, an idea. Implementation is still done by Obsidian. I'm sure we won't see stormtroopers or aliens as NPCs.

Project: Eternity and Characterization
I must say I really liked the influence system both in KOTOR2 and NWN2. For me it didn't break the immersion, on the contrary - I felt like I was building a relationship with the character, slowly gaining their trust. Yes, this system can be abused, but the idea itself is great. Probably, though, players should not see the numeric equivalent of it, so they wouldn't know how much influence they gained or lost. Well, that's just my opinion.

2D Isometric Graphics (Warning: Large Pictures)
Wow, I wish Wasteland 2 looked this way. It really fits their concept art.

are polls useful to obsidian?
Probably it's the devs who should vote on this poll, not us. But I think polls can give a good idea of what people are thinking. After all, it's much easier to look at the results than to read tons of posts.
