  1. As a backer of the Pillars of Eternity Kickstarter, I am curios of one thing: Is the card game even being considered as a digital game also? I know this would cost a lot more, but who knows, it might me added as a future stretch goal. And to be honest, if you add the digital game to all packages from Hero and up and say something like: "I know transportation costs are high, but we are also adding the digital version of the game now, which was not previously a part of the package", I think there will be no more room for further complaints.
  2. I learned a few days before that Andrew Rowe wrote a novel called Forging Divinity. I would like to order that book and read it, and am curios where I can order it from? I checked online and from what I see I can only order it from Amazon. I was wondering if I can order it from an online shop that is based in the Euroean Union. Moreover, the only options found on Amazon, for new books, belong to bookstores found only in the US. Can anyone help me?
  3. I found out yesterday that there is a Kickstarter project for a short Numenera film. Most of the peple on this forum probably backed Torment: Tides of Numenera as well as Pilllars of Eternity, and some even the original Numenera game. What do you think of this new project? I for one hope that it will get funded and that it may even reach some stretch goals. Yet in order for that to happen it needs to receive more attention and obviously it needs more people willing to conttribute to make it better. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/numenerastrand/numenera-strand
  4. I like what I see in the game so far and you still have my full support, but for now I would just like to know how often do you plan to update the beta? In my case it is filled with bugs and it crashes often and honestly I cannot play it like this for more than 15 minutes. Yet I am sure that over time things will improve and I will be able to play it without these troubles. I am only curious how soon will that happen and in how many steps.
  5. Dear Obsidian Developers, When I was a teenager or even earlier on I used to play games some of you made, like the Fallout, Baldur's Gate and Icewind Dale series or Planescape Torment. I enjoyed them a lot and they have influenced my life and thinking in a certain manner. In the Fallout series, for example, I was captivated by the dystopian environment and that got me thinking. The idea of a 'dystopian future environment' stayed with me and, about a decade afterwards, I made a more thorough research on the subject and got a paper entitled Inheritance after Apocalypse: the Dystopian Environment published online. Even though the paper itself is not about the games you made or the world they pictured but Cormac McCarthy's The Road, it also touches on the subject of the fall of the American Dream and inheritance in the case of cataclysm which I believe the notion of 'wasteland' pictures so well. The abstract can be founde here: http://riviste.unimi.it/index.php/AMonline/article/view/2986 and the full paper here: http://riviste.unimi.it/index.php/AMonline/article/view/2986/3164 When I debated an initial version of the paper in my hometown of Timisoara, Romania, and used a PowerPoint presentation to better transmit my ideas, I also showed the audience the two introductory cinematics from Fallout 1 and Fallout 2, the first before the presentation to better bring them into a "dystopian mood" and the second afterwards in order to broaden the subject, and it worked like a charm. I hope that you will see my message and that your future games will prove to be inspirational for me again and for generations to come. I wish you luck and success with Project Eternity. All the best, Serban Dan Blidariu P.S. A similar message of gratitude was sent to inXile, for some of them too had brought their contribution to the games that partially shaped my adolescence.
  6. Hello. I know this may not be the best place to ask this, but does Wasteland 2 have a forum? I mean...a real one, like this one? Because I could not find it. Thank you.
  7. I registered on the new official site and i did not get any message on my e-mail. Why is it taking so long?
  8. I tried to register, but I did not receive any confirmation message on my e-mail. How long does it usually take? Also, what is going to happen to the old site? The one with the nice music... Going back to my previous message, what about Obama and Romney?
  9. There are so many of us now that we can declare for either Obama or Romney and influence the election. And no, this is not a joke.
  10. Can I, later on, increase my pledge somewhat? I honestly cannot get another 20$ for the soundtrack and 10$ for the cards... But I would like them, yet later on. I mean, until 2012 wen the game ships, we can still add tuff and even increase pledge, right? Right now my favorite one is 250$, but I cannot go beyond 168. 140$ for the tier, 20 for the shipping cost, and 8 for the Obsidian order. Thank you. I honestly expect and answer.
  11. Probably because it was the last game that used the Infinity engine, I think they mentioned that.
  12. Then how about Audron, Research Specialist of the Obsidian Order. Is that one taken too?
  13. I just pledged 168 $, 140 for the reward, 20 for the international shipping, and 8 for the Obsidian Order. Do I also need to prove this or will you take my word for it?
  14. I was wondering if this is possible. After the kickstarter is over, to continue this campaign, both to raise money and offer new goals for at least a year longer, on their official site. But with a mecanic that remembers how much you pledged up to that day. For example, I now buy the 100$ offer with the 20$ extra for international transportport. However, in a month or six, I might decide I want more, and I will add an extra 40$ for the next tier. And so on and so forth, if, with the passage of time, I manage to raise more money. For example, my optimal pledge would be 500$, but there is no way to give that much by the end of the kickstarter project. But who knows, by this time in 2013, I might. And given the fact that the game does not come until 2014, why not? Also, without the ability to reduce the pledge after kickstarter. If you gave 250, you cannot take your money back, just increase the pledge, because the money has already been taken from your account. I know that this would imply giving each of us some sort of username and password, but maybe you can do this. I would appreciate an answer from Obsidian to this question.
