  1. That image with the multiple resolutions is very handy but it's missing most 16:10 resolutions. 1440x900 1680x1050 1920x1200 All these should be on there. Also, no black bars, please.
  2. In that I can agree. Kinda. Shyamalan just hasn't made a good movie in the past 10 years or so. He was fine before Signs.
  3. The world will end when Paul McCartney takes over from Cobain as Nirvana's singer. Tonight.
  4. The differences between the books and the series are more dramatic in the second season, Riverrun, Brynden & Edmure Tully and Meera & Jojen Reed being rather glaring omissions. I hope they don't keep that trend going as the series continues. I realize they sacrificed faithfulness to the book in Arya's story to make Tywin Lannister an actual character rather than just this looming shadow, but it's surprising for HBO to be going to lengths to tone things down and soften them up, considering how Arya deals with Harrenhal in the book, which was more interesting in her development as a character. While the second season fell short of the first season as a quality TV series, it still wasn't half as bad as the book. Clash of Kings was a gigantic drop in quality from Game of Thrones, and GoT was nothing particularly brilliant anyway. I can't imagine how the subsequent can get worse, but the internet tells me the quality drops as the series goes along.
  5. Think harder, then. Rock of Ages Knight and Day Mission: Impossible III The Last Samurai Far and Away ****tail I hear Jack Reacher is rubbish too.
  6. Remember folks, it's always better to use the report button, and leave it at that. Keep on topic.

  14. You don't like the dwarf?
  15. Everywhere I've seen that percentage it was meant as 95% of all played copies are pirated. So yes, it's that silly.
  16. Dark Souls, I guess.
  17. Ooh, that thread was pure brilliance.
  18. The difference being that the more extreme Democrat base does not hold, unlike extremist Republicans, completely and utterly insane views.
  19. No. Unless you mean to say there's a lot of observational data of Elvis after he died. I think you misunderstand what I'm talking about, and I probably didn't make it any better by joking about ghosts. What I see is a plan, a greater purpose, when I look at certain things. The majesty of Yosemite, or even the smile on my child's face, says to me that this is clearly more than just a matter of happenstance. But this is very individualistic, I don't expect you to look at my child and see the same thing, you will just see it as genetics. That is why I separate faith from religion by the way, I see them as two very different things. My faith makes me more tolerant of religion, but religion doesn't give me faith. I see what you're saying, but that's not 'observational data' in any sense of the words.

  21. Actually, originally he was envisioned as being an unpopular nerd. Only later did Marvel turn Spiderman into a wisecracking ass.
  22. DA's combat was terrible. Between lame abilities, and fighting the same battles over and over again, DA's systems are something I don't want to see in any RPG.
  23. I thought dragon age did it badly, I don't want to see stuff stuck to my back apparently by magnetism (Although if you're in a zoomed out view like P.E it probably wont matter as much) Skyrim did it better for one handed stuff, as did mount and blade, though they still had 2 handed swords stuck to your back as if by magic I've mentioned it before, but I'll add it again (if only to post another great picture of a Landsknecht) : Resting great weapons on the shoulder is the best way I reckon. Looks great. Amusing will follow.
